Evaluate him in off season and then decide if he is going to get 10-15 decent games for Inter next season, or needs a loan to play 20-30 games at Serie A instead.

If he's not gonna get like, 2-3x the minutes Asllani got this year, there's no point him being here next season

I prefer to have a 30yo+ as Barella's backup than wasting a good talent. I'd loan him to lower serie a table team for a season or two

Has anyone watched him play? I doubt many people watch Reggina, but curious as to what type of player he is.

I attended the Venezia - Reggina match in November. He started and was underwhelming. Got subbed at the half.

You picked the wrong match. He has played 90mins for 23 times this season (one 85 and one 87 min matches included).

Numbers are simply amazing.

There are few compilations "Player vs...." type in YouTube. They don't give the whole picture, but still are something.

No one expects him to be a starter yet, to be fair, we expect him to be a useful squad player

Based on what?
I'll give an example with Frattesi, who many people here consider as an useful squad player too.
Before his breakout season in serie A, he scored 8 goals, and delivered 2 assists in serie B (pretty close to Fabbian figures - 8 goals, 1.assist). Since then , Frattesi has two seasons in serie A, as a starter in a midtable club, a lot of experience, and he is still considered as a rotation player at best.
But, 20 years old Fabbian should be useful squad player. I don't think that this is very realistic.

Sorry, you misundersdtand my point

I'm saying, for Fabbian to be useful for Inter, he just needs to be a squad level player, not a guaranteed first team starter. Whether he clears that bar or not, I dont know and I'm not speculating on that.

Brighton interested in two players – report

Piero Ausilio met Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi in Milan (sushi restaurant) this week with the Premier League side interested in two Nerazzurri midfielders.

De Zerbi is said to be an admirer of Inter midfielders Kristjan Asllani and Giovanni Fabbian so he could have discussed their availability with Ausilio.
Fabbian could also be included in a player-plus-cash swap deal with Sassuolo for Davide Frattesi.

Send Fabbian to Brighton on one year loan. He'll get some playing time for sure
