Thomas has given a title that is up to false interpretations. Gazzetta article in Italian doesn't claim Inter are going to exercise their buyback clause early. Even if they wanted they can't because clause becomes valid only in 2025. Instead they claim Inter are already estimating the cost in 2025 budget.
I think the wording is bit poor in the tweet and can be interpreted wrong way easily. What is meant there is that Inter is planning for the redemption 1.5 years in advance, not that we're signing him 1.5 years early.

Scored for U21. Casadei also scored on an assist by Zanotti.... If only our coach wasn't alergic to young players.

Marotta in a recent interview commented on the buy back and said that essentially, Fabbian is still an Inter player. In the same interview he stated that they are still deciding what they will do with him next season. After reading the article, I thought Inter might exercise the buy back and simply loan him back to Bologna. Alternatively, they might leave him there for another season before exercising the buy back.

I might be wrong but I feel it is highly unlikely that he will be a part of the squad next season. Why bring him back to sit on the bench when he can develop and become a regular at Bologna?

Admittedly, its quite exciting having young prospsects in Serie A that are developing into players that Inter could bring back to play in the first team.

why spend 40 million on Frattesi to do the same..

any player needs to win his spot.

Fabbian: Inter have decided to exercise the option kept among the papers, exercisable starting from 2025.

Beppe Marotta is willing to pay the 12 million needed for the return of the prodigal son: the Nerazzurri midfield could therefore be enriched with new enthusiasm and talent starting from the 2025/2026 season.

Makes sense given that his market value is already €14M and we're still in 2024.

I don't think this really means much. Like, next season will still decide it.. if he has a shit season we won't, if he has a good one we will.

If he does join end of the season though I wonder what the plan is. Mkhi is on a two year contract right? Zielinski just joined on 3?

Hakan or Asllani or Barella might be the obvious options?

Mhiky has a contract until 2026, so he could be gradually inserted into the squad. Or he could be loaned out again. It's just probably worth keeping control of him.

Asllani - reading that Dortmund want to buy him and could offer 17M + bonuses.

Fabbian might even join as the 7th guy. He learns during the season what's what in a real top club, training in a real top team. Mkhitaryan is phased out and leaves Inter in 2026. We keep our competitiveness at top notch.

While I like Mikhy, he's probably dead starting the following season. So either he eats the bench or he gets a golden handshake to go to SA or other team to finally get his bag.

No it wouldn't, I couldn't care less who's on the pitch as long as the guy performs, I don't have this weird nationalist obsessions. If Mikhy is still great on the following season, Simone will keep playing him and I'd have no problem with it.
And nothing, I'm just saying that's what I think is gonna happen, doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

It seems you have a lot of problems with him. If he was not performing, I would not defend him. But guess what, he does.

Ignore button exists. If you can't stand people having an opinion that's not the same as yours about Mikhy.

Do you want me to ignore you? No problems. Your opinion is that he is dead by the next season. Did you look at your crystal ball? Anyway, ignore that is.

Mikhitaryan is nationalist? But yeah, fanboyism is annoying, i agree.
