Desperation for capital gains. We don't care about the future, only about the present.

Dimarco would have a similar fate with Pirola if Verona hadn't asked for a discount.
That'll may be the case if we are not about to be paying 20 millions plus or something in total for Aslani and Bellanova.
This is more about the management didn't rate the player to be good enough for inter than about capital gains.

Pirola and Agoume shitty players, only Fabbian, Zanotti and Mulattieri can have a chance play for the first team.

pirola is really good mate, a tough one i must say (y)

I know it is the wrong thread, but Pirola is giving me Skriniar vibes in that video. Bulky guy with hard, but fair tackles and with decent long balls. I have read that our option to get him back is valid till next year, so I don't see a problem in letting him stay in Torino for one more season.

In his development he is bit further than Fabbian because Pirola is already playing pretty solid in Serie A whereas Fabbian had "just" a great season in Serie B.

I really hope that we will not sell anyone of those two because both of them could fight for a spot in the team.

hopefully we decide to invest some of our excess CL revenue this season into keeping these two guys. I'd be really sad to not give Fabbian even a try - unless Inzaghi sees him pre-season and says no - and sell him for 15m euros

A swap Acerbi for Fabbian, looked like a joke rumor to me, but I start worrying about this one:
" Inter are keen to pick up Manuel Lazzari in the summer and Lazio are open to an exchange deal, wanting to take talented youngster Giovanni Fabbian"

I'd be keen to see him as the 6th midfield option, if we once again have no money.

Iirc in 2020, when Marotta wanted to sell Skriniar to Tottenham, Conte wanted to give a chance to Pirola cause he saw he was talented.

Fabbian + 20m for Scalvini could be a good deal. I would assume Atalanta would demand at least +10m as bonuses to such deal.

Calciomercato.com: Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini wants Inter Milan midfielder Giovanni Fabbian as part of a deal for defender Giorgio Scalvini
Fabbian is a player who the La Dea coach is very keen on, and that he’d be willing to let the Bergamo-based club sell Scalvini in order to land him.

This is Inter tradition! Zaniolo, Casadei, you know who`s next ;)

Failed to bring Regina to Serie-A, but overall a good loan season for him. I woud bring him as Barella subtitute / 5gag replacement.

Mikhi - Hakan - Barella
Pereyra - Brozo & Aslani - Fabbian

We don't have problem with midfield.
