Deki walked into the bar I was having dinner in tonight :fuckyea:
Just had a look at the TV for the PSG-City score, took a photo with someone and left.

You should've yelled out "De si Deki ? jebote legenda !"

BEST OF LUCK, DEJAN!

After a season as club manager, Dejan Stankovic bids farewell to Inter and embarks on the next stage of his career

MILAN – It's time for another goodbye – or farewell, we should say. Dejan Stankovic is leaving our club to set out on a new professional challenge.

He wore the Nerazzurri shirt with pride for 10 long years, helping to write some of the greatest chapters in our club's history. He was part of a world-beating side that won five league titles, four Coppa Italias, four Italian Super Cups, a Champions League and a Club World Cup.

His honours list does justice to the player he was and the warrior spirit he showed in defending the Nerazzurri colours both on and off the pitch. One battle after another.

After making 326 appearances during his playing career, last season he returned to experience the Nerazzurri universe from another perspective, as club manager.

Now he's set to move on to pastures new, in the knowledge that his special bond with Inter will never end.

"I'm glad to have been able to do my bit for this club as an official,” Dejan explained. “Inter is my home and this has been a wonderful experience which I'm sure will help me in the next stage of my career.

“We're going different ways now and new challenges lie ahead but I'll always carry these colours in my heart.”

Once an Interista, always an Interista!

Thanks for everything, Deki and best of luck in your future career.

Leaves room for someone like Samuel to come back.

It's intersting that role is starting to become like a bridge for our retired stars to hold them over until they're ready to move on. Córdoba did it for a few years and now Deki. I bet Samuel will come until he gets his coaches badges and then move on as well.

Does anybody know what Deki plans on doing?

So what's actually going on, they don't say where he's going. Is the club releasing him or is he leaving to take a new position elsewhere?

He left because he got sick of Mancini probably. Its not coincidence that Deki leaving was announced a day after Mancini met with the new owners which in other words means that Mancini is confirmed for next season.

Were it someone else, maybe. But Deki is a well-known friend and supporter of Mancini dating way back to Lazio.

My bet is he's got nothing on and he's simply been told he's not required. Inter is just being polite about his release.

Yea I got that impression too, that we were simply releasing him.

As some Italian dude commented in the media Yesterday - if Sunning wanted to extend Mancini they would've already done it by now.

It has nothing to do with Mancini because these two lovebirds will stick together no matter how terrible the other one performs.

Maybe they've decided not to renew his contract when they asked for his European CV (probably cried when they saw it).

With Dejan Stankovic out of Inter and joining the Serbian Football Federation, Inter could replace him with Gabriele Oriali, ho worked in Milano for a long time and now is expected to leave Italy after Euro 2016, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

I ask myself this questions:

1. Is this really a job with tasks and obligations - and if yes: Is a guy who has done nothing in his life than playing football the right person for that?

2. Is this some job some "provision of employment" for retired stars and a reason why there is this huge black hole in our budget?

I am happy that he's gone. We need guys like Figo or Baggio around a team. More leadership and charisma.

I think that Suning didn't want Deki. It's too strange that as soon as Suning bought Inter, Deki is gone!

According to him he was offered a new contract and turned it down. I think he is going to join the Serbian Federation
