Football have not much to do with geography now a days. Time have changed we don't live in the 60's anymore. And the european countries have changed from singel culture to multicultural over the last 40-50 years. So you have to live with it either you like it or not.

And realistically there aren't enough good Italian players at the moment. so it's imposible for the major clubs in Italy to have a bunch of Italians in thier squads.

Firstly I tottally disagree with antti that football should be different than normal jobs. Football is just a profession like any other so the laws that apply to normal working people should apply to them as well.

And another thing quatas which is what is basically what coni's plan is a immoral thing in my book. What is different from saying you have to have so many white/black guys in your team to saying you have to have some many from a certain nation.

To me what coni's idea is is racist.

Sorry if this offends some people. But thats the way I feel about this. And I feel very strongly on this issue.

Sometimes you just have to write what you feel. I don't think I broke any rules of the forum my expressing my feeling towards this.

Meaning of racism:

The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

How the federations imposing a 3 Italian player minimum is racist is beyond me!

Fabio

The rule is just about making sure our teams have italians and we can develop young players. This is about football not human rights. If a non italian player is good enough they will still be on a Serie A club. It doesn't say the whole team must be italian. I'm all about tradition and when Inter has been great we had lots of great italians and Inter actually had players on the national team not just 1 who shouldn't be there.

By setting a limit that a certain from 1 certain group must be in the side is diffently racist. Its saying even thought the other 1 might be better he can't be in the side cause the other 1 is from that country so he must be choosen above him hence they are saying he is superior to him.

I disagree because even with the required amount of italian players there are still lots of positions for good foreign players.

It should be completely open to anyone who is good enough.

Guys, what is the point of having an entire squad of italians that will just not care of the club. I think Hamed pointed out a very interestring fact and it was that all the players that were crying after the Euro derby elimination were all foreigners. I just want players that feel passion for the shirt and are willing to sweat it for it.

Well Vic, for Don T and Antti, crying isn't an indicator that you are passionate. I honestly don't know how they can measure a player's passion. Antti said he tries to deduce it from press interviews, but that doesn't say anything. Those interviews are just diplomatic, players won't say a thing on them.

These things make you think. If there are laws that make it easier for people to move around countries and look for better opportunities, everyone should support them as much as possible.

Just remember, some people might not be as lucky as you are. For some people achieving a decent life is not about effort, or skills, or studies: is about where you were born.

Really well said :star: . I think I am against this subject because like you I had to relocate to a totally new land to basically have a life. I couldn't go to my parents' native country because of war and discrimination and my birth country wouldn't give me a passport. I just had to relocate to have a life and get education.

I think it's the same thing for these guys from South America and Africa. Do you think clinging to illusions of team identity is better than helping a human being earn decent money? Maybe you see it differently but I see allowing foreigners to play as something more than sport.

Yeah Pravesh, me, Frisko and Stefan defended ourselves pretty well. I could be a CD or an RB, maybe one of Frisko and Stefan can be a LB! :D

yeah .... yeah .... :D
In that case, I would pay more attention to my studies during the entire next season. Wouldn't want to see my Inter conceding goals like hell. :p :D

Anyway, getting back to topic:

I guess, getting Chivu would be very good. I think that he's one of the very few defender who would be gettable for next season. Cordoba, Chivu, Burdisso would be great for the CB role. :)

I am not hearing good things about Luisao, but still expecting him to be good, coz it does seem that he's close to us. Chivu would be able to play in CB, as well as LB positions.

Kompany - It's gonna be another player who would be targetted by so many clubs, so it's good not to talk about him, at the moment.

Getting back to left back player - If not Chivu for this role, then what about Dede or Maxwell ?? Both are good in attack and I have seen Dede quite alot to say that he's a very good. Who else - Evra ?? How good is he ..

(RB)J.Zanetti ---- Cordoba ---- Burdisso/Chivu ---- Dede/Maxwell/Chivu (LB)

We MUST have trust in Burdisso ;)

I must stress that Chivu will be great and that we definately have to DEVELOPE Burdisso more..The guy is obviously talented just trust him a bit...

As for Luisao maybe its good if we get him too...Maybe we should just buy 3 players ofr the position we need to strengthen every year and out of the three one will be a massive suprise and have a great impact for us..

Just look at the begining of this year we had CZ,we bought Davids who we all thought would be fantastic along with Cambiasso(who we thought we didnt need but ohh well maybe he will be useful  ).

Out of the three we had Cambaisso we know is a keeper,he also made CZ better...Which i hope one of the two of Luisao and Chivu have the same effect on the already good Burdisso. :star:

Pravesh have u seen Maxwell play? although his a great dribbler and on the ball, his got terrible defending skills. his quite bad at that :depress: so if anything Left wing, but i dont see the need. Ill tell you guys my ideal back 4.

Zapitano-Cordoba-Burdisso-Chivu

That way, we can still get Chivu and not hinder Burdisso :proud:

EU is freaking me out. Only thing I wanna be in there still for is transferring the dollar to the Euro with our coins.

The rest is just hippie crap union between countries that can´t agree. :stress:

Our coins in Denmark are way to confusing to use so I wanna have the option between Euro and Kroner before I decide. :p
