It's an interesting question, tbh...I've been snipped and with the impending arrival of our son, we've been discussing it quite a bit...It's true, the medical advantages are there but not overwhelming enough to make the decision definitive...In the US, it's more common place but I guess that too is being challenged or deemed a religious/cultural issue
Mine was done based on medical grounds and while I feel less compelled with that argument now, I do have this thinking that 'like father, like son'...although that too isn't
that compelling, I guess
My wife and most of Suisse are opposed to it...Even my father who made the decision on me and is also a physician, is now against it...Says it's unnatural...One of my best friends who is Suisse didn't get snipped and both him & his brother are for it due to what they described as risk of infection, need for cleaning and more risk of injury (His brother had a bad zipper incident
)
We decided to skip it for our son but I can't say I am 100% either way, both choices have good arguments in favor...If we were still in the US, I'd probably push for it since it's more common but here it's the other way around
Legitimate question and no easy answer really
