I can't believe you're actually saying that. Foreskin does not retract itself until up to late teens, wouldn't you say it's not supposed to be forced to retract by circumcision? If its only purpose was to protect while still in the womb it would retract a lot faster and become obsolete.

Foreskin DOES HAVE it's role.

A weeks long conversation/debate/argument with my cousins in the US about this topic. They were expecting a baby boy at the time and somehow circumcision came up, I couldnt believe they were like "whats the big deal" about it. When I found out its so extremely common and performed on newborns it brought my piss to a boil. I just started my personal research and became intactivist in some way I guess

Study resonates internationally
According to Frisch, the study has received a great deal of international attention. For example, he has been contacted by politicians in California, who are very pleased with the results of the study because they want to ban circumcision in their federal state.

Others are less excited, saying the research is controversial.

“This is a highly sensitive issue, and some people oppose the publication of this kind of research. Some people have actually tried to stop the publication of our article,” he explains.

I find it interesting that there is even an opposition against circumcision among Jewish communities, organisations like:

- The Israeli Association Against Genital Mutilation (in Hebrew http://www.britmila.org.il/ )
