And the 16m spend on Arnautovic and Sommer is obviously not ideal, but frankly the ideal solution wasn’t really there to begin with.

To get a younger keeper Inter had to spend 20-30m alone, a younger attacker would be a 30-50m investment. We are talking in the region of 50-80m just for those positions alone and those a Pavard would not really be an option, in fact had the sum been spend on just one of those position it would by nature exclude the others, unless you decided not to get Frattesi..

If Inter end up with Pavard it’ll be the better solution, rather spend the money on him and Frattesi who are the safe investment then on a gamble goalie and attacker. Because frankly we can just as well see how Stankovic develops no reason to gamble money needlessly away…

Personally I can live with another season with a thin attacking department, especially looking at the poor selection in this macato.

If you invest you need to invest in something that is actually on a higher or potentially higher level then him or else it’s needlessly spending of money.

You could probably go with Bazanu, Meslier, Vandervoordt, Lafont, Costa, Chevalier, Marquines etc. but those are definitely big gamble and the better one you won’t get for anything under 20m.
