We just wasted 10M on Arnautovic's corpse. Surely Taremi will cost more than that, even with an expiring contract.
Arnautovic deal was retarded, everyone could see that. Does not mean we have to be retarded again :)

I am assuming based on the price of Taremi last summer. Milan almost got him for 15m for a year (demand reduced to 20m). So 6 months should not be more than half.

Or we should learn how other teams bought strikers.

What Arnautovic corpse? Bit of a recency bias since he's been injured for 2 weeks, huh?

Arnautović haven't really had a good match for us except his first match where he got an assist. Calling him a corpse is kinda apt.

1 assist isn't zero impact, but that's okay. It serves my narrative well, I did say Sanchez and Arnautović will have less goals compared to last seasons Correa, it still looks that way.

To be fair the only game Arna had no impact was against la Real.
Examples for other games besides the game he gave an assist, he pulled the defender for the space for Frattesi's goal; he also contributed a lot in controlling the game when we led, served well as a target man; keeping Thuram fresh etc.

Too harsh and too forgetful to claim he had no impact.

Sanchez on the other hand .....

To be fair, while they haven't been impressive, neither of Arnautovic/Sanchez have played much to really make an impression. Sanchez has played 159 minutes, so less than two games overall.

I think he was poor when coming on against Sassuolo and Bologna. However, in his defense, our entire team seemed to physically drop at that point. On the other hand, I thought he did fairly well coming on against both Sociedad and Benfica. Against Benfica, he created a chance for Lautaro that Trubin saved (the one that Lautaro saved from going out of play), and also played a quick pass to Mkhi for his nice assist to Lautaro (that Trubin again saved). It's interesting that the two good sub appearances both came when our team was either on top or pushing to get back into the game, while both poor sub appearances were when our team had run out of steam. Alexis doesn't have the ability to inject pace, etc. into our game anymore, but he can be useful in certain situations.

Against Salernitana, I thought he was pretty decent with the exception of finishing, which is obviously still a big part of being a forward. Having Alexis here isn't ideal but let's see if we can get something more out of him given he came in with no preseason.

Whatever contribution Sanchez and Arnautovic are offering combined is not enough. Those two are good 4th/5th strikers at best. One injury to Lautaro or Thuram and we're literally screwed. We need an actual third striker. And no, I don't think that Taremi is the right answer. The management has to look harder.

Has Morata signed new contract with Atletico? Transfermarkt has him as a free agent in the summer.

We should have gone after immobile
HEs more reliable than arna and sanchez
And we needed a classic centre forward
But anyway

Doubt Lotito would have sold him even for 30m€ this summer. Next summer if Immobile continues like now, no one's gonna offer even 20m€ for him.

Like I suggested in Inter Jections (feels dirty with these shameless plugs), cheap ass loan deal next summer Acerbi-style would be nice after Immobile has broken his ties with Sarri and Lotito.

Choupo-Moting is nearly 35yo and he is leaving for almost free. More perfect for Inter policy than Immobile. You heard it here first.
He was linked to Inter last summer already.

*was not cheap and experience enough. Not a name specifically. We have to wait until he is 0$ and out of gas at 35 lol.

I learn by heart Inter's notebook. Like in FM. Favourite filters "free soon" and "retiring".
