Imho both of those are too unrealistic. Ekitike will be way out of our price range and Martial just earns too much for what he offers.

Some of you guys mentioned Choupo-Moting earlier and I think he will be a very realistic, cheap and short-term option. In a perfect scenario maybe we can snatch Taremi, but I think that even his transfer fee around 10m will be too high for us.

It would be tough to justify Choupo-Moting with Arnautovic already here. A third 34 year old probably isn’t what we need. Maybe on a loan but I don’t see why Bayern would do that. They still need a back up for Kane.

They prefer Mathys Tel to Choupo-Moting; that's why they are releasing him for free. They don't treat teenagers as fire.

While I agree with you that we should give youth players more chances it is not fair to compare Tel to anything we have. He is one of the most talented guys in his generation, comparable to Scalvini at CB or Bastoni for that matter who also got the chance pretty early in his career.

For next season I’d personally consider signing a third striker who is competing for starting eleven with Lautaro and Thuram (i.e. En Neysiri in the last year of his contract or Guirassy with his release clause set at 20mln.) while giving the fourth spot to Esposito. Then rather buy a midfielder who can play at the striker position if Esposito doesn’t work out (i.e. Colpani).

How does everyone feel about Zirkzee from Bologna? Not sure how good of a goalscorer he is, but he's a very interesting player imo. From the games in which I've watched him, he's not a 'typical' striker as it feels like most of the good things he does are outside of the box but seems a very tricky player to play against.

No idea what his ceiling is or how highly rated he is, but I find him interesting to watch.

Anyone who knows more about him?

Another striker who looks like he would suit Italian football is Santi Gimenez from Feyenord. I assume he would be pricy though.
