DESTRO TO INTER CAN BE DONE WITH KUCKA-LONGO PLUS CASH
Yesterday meeting between Branca and Preziosi: the Slovak and the young striker are co-owned by both clubs. With 9 million to Genoa, things can close?
Napoli, dinner with mystery. “Hurray Lavezzi.” Is it a sign of farewell?
De Laurentiis toasted the striker who was hailed by the fans, everything seemed like a valediction.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail writes Lucas will accept offer of Inter.
For the midfield, De Jong in pole but Inter are checking Borja Valero, the midfield director of Villareal.
Talks surround Maicon who is linked to Kolarov.
Milan – There was a meeting yesterday as expected for some time. Next week, after mutual reflections by both clubs, there will be decisive acceleration to close everything. Inter technical director Marco Branca and Genoa President Enrico Preziosi have laid the first foundation for negotiations involving Mattia Destro, atypical striker (very dynamic) with great personality but he is only 21 years old. This operation is not easy but this contact between both parties have certified what was reported weeks ago: Inter want Destro again. The Italian striker was at one time an Inter player but now the Nerazzurri must find a way to recapture him with tricks and counterparts.
Vice-Milito Mattia – a brand new Azzurro and it is very possible that he will be elected for the next European competition – is divided between Genoa and Siena by virtue of co-ownership which will soon be resolved in the favor of the Liguria club. For this reason, the first to be contacted must be Genoa President Enrico Preziosi and Inter did just that. Yesterday Inter have officially asked for the player. Let’s recall that Destro ended up at Genoa in the deal that brought Inter Andrea Ranocchia. Stramaccioni the other day described him as “a player who has demonstrated the ability to play in a difficult league like ours.” Moral: Mattia Destro is the vice-Milito with a consequent sale of Giampaolo Pazzini, the sale which we will discuss more later.
Kucka, Longo and… So how are Inter going to get talented striker? Kucka, the player that Inter paid 7 million euros for half of him, could once again belong to the Rossoblu in a Destro-package. Then watch out for Samuele Longo, the current Inter central forward which made his debut during the last league game in Rome against Lazio. He is also co-owned between Inter and Genoa and his contractual status could become a loan deal to Genoa. But there is a third part: cash. Preziosi values the player at 20 million but for Inter, his value is at 15. Considering the involvement of Kucka and Longo, 8-9 million would be enough. This deal is just at the very beginning but it is more possible now because the player wants Inter and vice versa.
Pazzo to leave? At this point, it is clear that Giampaolo Pazzini (the current vice-Milito has already lost a spot with Italy) would be hard to accept the arrival of another central striker. Important proposals for Pazzini are not lacking in Italy as well as abroad. Napoli could ask for him in a Lavezzi-Tango. PSG’s Ancelotti is also interested as he already wanted the Italian striker during his days at Chelsea. Then there is Lazio as well. In short, Destro has already taken Pazzini’s spot in the Italian national team will he do the same at Inter? Things will go slowly but we’ll see.
Chapter Lavezzi Another striker who could be on his way to Inter is Ezequiel Lavezzi. The whistles and jeers on Sunday have become a chorus of hope. “Pocho, bring us the Cup,” shouted the approximately 150 fans stationed outside the restaurant where there was the usual end of the year dinner. Lavezzi was last to arrive but many were there just for him. “Stay with us” was the most popular chant of the evening. The atmosphere was much more calmer than the one at the San Paolo Sunday evening. During the dinner, De Laurentiis was caught by cameras uttering the phase of doubtful interpretation towards the Argentinian: “Long Live Lavezzi!” That was said at the time of toast. A toast which tasted like a goodbye. Lavezzi’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, will return to Italy this weekend and with him offers from Inter and Paris Saint Germain will be evaluated.
Alternatives Inter’s notebooks have priorities and alternatives. As the Lavezzi deal is becoming more concrete, Inter are also looking at a few midfielders. Nigel De Jong (Manchester City) remains the ideal man due to his experience and strength but here also appears Borja Valero, 27 years old, the man of Villareal that just got relegated. And perhaps because of this fall, the request of the Yellow Submarine could soften: 7-8 million. Borja Valero is the alternative of Nigel De Jong.
Maicon, Kolarov New rumors arriving that Mancini’s Manchester City could ask for Maicon in the deal for De Jong. That’s the first option. The second is for Kolarov. Just rumors. In all of this, there is even a track leading to Papu Gomez: the player is followed very closely by Vincenzo Montella but Inter and his agent are already talking. “Inter are very interested,” said Leo Rodriguez to Itasportpress. Marco Branca could speed up the situation in favor of Stramaccioni. Lastly we have Lucas. The Daily Mail wrote yesterday: “Forget Lucas, he will go to Inter.” According to the newspaper, Inter have already made an offer to Sao Paulo. The last piece of news concerns Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio. Inter will renew his contract for another four years and it could happen in just a few hours.
From the studios of Sky, Fabrizio Cometti, a transfer market expert, sums up the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi.
“It seems that Pocho wants to leave, to try something new. Now it is premature to give certainty on the future of the Argentinian as Bigon has confirmed that the negotiations are still at the early beginning. Surely Lavezzi likes the city of Milan very much as he often spends time here with his friends. The Argentinian also prefers the project that Inter have, as well as its coach and the environment. The clause is fixed but like always you can negotiate the amount.”
The future of Diego Forlan could point towards Brazil but not necessarily to Atletico Mineiro. Alexandre Kalil, the club’s president, admits that it is not going to be easy. “We are working to acquire Forlan and we are willing to spend to satisfy the player but this is not going to be an easy operation,” said Kalil who has also revealed the reason for this difficulty: the competition. “It is true there are other Brazilian clubs that are interested in Forlan but we have the advantage because we have met with both of his father and brother.”
Diego Forlan has once again reiterated that he wants to stay at Inter. Here is what Forlan said to an Uruguayan radio station:
“I want to stay at Inter, my transfer to Brazil is only a rumor. I have a contract at Inter and I repeat: I want to stay. It was a strange year for everyone but I am finding myself comfortable in Europe and have no plans to leave it yet. At Inter I have found many friends like Samuel, Cambiasso and Zantti. This Inter group is fantastic. I also want to play with Diego Milito because at Independiente, I was able to build a great friendship with his brother Gabriel. Things did not go well this year and we changed coaches. But I am optimistic for the future.”
To the pages of Calcionapoli24.it, Diego Armando Maradona, Napoli legend, discusses transfer market rumors surrounding Ezequiel Lavezzi. “If I were De Laurentiis, I would make the sale because the cycle of Pocho is over. He cannot do more than what he has done, he has given everything. If Inter offer a lot of cash then Napoli must sell the player. Inter must pay like they did with Ronaldo. Money is not certainly lacking with Moratti.”
Transfer market rumors have been revealed by the Brazilian newspaper Globoesporte. It appears that despite denials, negotiations to bring Paulinho to Inter could take a positive turn. Currently, the Brazilian club does not want to divert attention from Copa Libertadores but at the end of this competition, all negotiations would be evaluated. And Inter are in clear advantage.
Mattia Destro is ready to make a big leap to a big club. Genoa sporting director, Stefano Capozucca, in an interview with Radio Mana Mana, has infact confirmed that a verbal agreement exists between Genoa president Enrico Preziosi and Inter president Massimo Moratti on the Italian striker. “Destro? There is an verbal agreement between Moratti and Preziosi: in case of a sale, the priority would be given to the Nerazzurri. We will see.”
Thanks to the meeting yesterday, Inter have taken a huge step forward for Mattia Destro.
Fredy Guarin’s future is about to be confirmed. Rumors coming from Colombia, a radio station to be specific, that Inter have confirmed that they have completed the paperwork to sign the former Porto midfielder on a permanent basis. Everything will be confirmed in a meeting today between Guarin and Inter.
Not just from Colombia, FC Inter 1908 has also learned that Inter have communicated with Fredy Guarin that they will exercise the option to purchase his card in its entirety. Fredy Guarin will sign a 4-year contract and the transfer fee is fixed at 13.5 million euros.
Inter are following Ezequiel Schelotto very closely and this is no longer a mystery for anybody. The player in this past year showed to be a vital piece in Atalanta’s three-man midfield. His performances not only were seen by the Nerazzurri’s transfer market men but they are also very convinced. So, if the contract renewal of Maicon does not go well, it is Schelotto that could be one of the top choices to replace the Brazilian. The Argentinian-born player is capable of playing on the right side either high up front or from behind like a right-back. Today however, the boy is now with the shirt of the Azzurri as he is in the current team called up by Prandelli and the boy really wants to be there in Poland and Ukraine.
That being said, Ezequiel Schelotto has spoken to the microphones of Corriere della Sera about his future:
“It is not the moment to talk about the transfer market especially after a season like this. I am feeling good in Bergamo and I have three years in my contract. I have an idol by the name of Javier Zanetti. He grew up in Banfield, just like me, and then came here in Italy. The similarities are there. Plus he is a friend and it would be nice to retrace his footsteps and play for Inter. But I am only in my second year in Serie A. It is too soon.”
Paris is on the horizon, Milan is at the window, the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi is not certain yet and there will be more discussions next week. But if gap between him and Napoli is increasingly getting bigger, pushing him towards Inter, according to Sky Sport, would be the many Argentinians currently playing for the Nerazzurri. They are his friends and would welcome him with open arms when he leaves Napoli in the summer.
There has been a lot of talk about Samuele Longo, the striker born i 1992 and just finished an excellent season with Inter Primavera. So much so that he made a debut in the last game of the season against Lazio in Rome. The boy – co-owned between Genoa and Inter – has a lot of requests from Serie A and B clubs but according to what FC Inter News has learned, president Massimo Moratti, personally, has confirmed this boy at Inter. Longo is seen as a new Mattia Destro which is why you do not want to let him to and see him exploding with other shirts. It is clear but the transfer market is still long but Longo now has more chance to stay as a nerazzurro.
“I would say that if Inter want Andreolli, just pick up and fall and tell me: at that point we will see and discuss. It is not a problem: if they want then the deal is done.” That was Giovanni Sartori, Chievo sporting director talking to IlSussidiario.net about the alleged interest from Inter for Marco Andreolli. He continues: “We have not spoken with Inter yet nor have we planed to meet partly because they now have something else to think.”
It’s all done. Fredy Guarin is now an Inter player at 100% thanks to today’s meeting which has finalized the details. Porto will receive 11 million from this deal instead of the planned 13.5 million but Inter had already paid the 1.5 million for his loan (total cost is 12.5). Therefore, Fredy Guarin is going to be an important piece for the Inter midfield in the present as well as the future. An operation that was conducted perfectly by Branca and Ausilio, a major signing for next season.
Today is an important day for Inter which have taken its first step in the right way. Fredy Guarin has been signed to a permanent contract and his agent, Marcelo Ferreyra has confirmed the transfer:
“I do not want to say the cost of this whole operation but I can assure you that Fredy is very, very happy for this opportunity to continue playing at Inter and he is also very grateful for Porto. Two years ago there were already contacts made with Inter. This year he had several different physical problems but had the opportunity to go to Italy and played for the final part of the season at Inter. He is very grateful that Porto have allowed this transfer. This deal is best for all parties.”
New rumors coming from France suggesting that Ezequiel Lavezzi will go to Paris Saint Germain. According to RMC Sport, PSG have burned Inter with an offer of 32 million euros in cash. This rumor is yet to be verified. In the next few days, especially after the Italian Cup final, there will surely be new developments.
Breaking news coming from Brazil, Lucio and Inter have ended their relationship. Revealing this news is the player’s agent, Sandro Becker.
Agent: “It’s been three years at Inter, three wonderful years but I think it is time to change. We are negotiating with the club and we talked about that today. We submitted our request and it was accepted. Now he is looking for a new club. As a man and player, he is leaving Inter also as a friend, wherever he goes. We have decided to leave, they understood and we were all very cordial about it. He still has two years in the contract and if he finds a new club, he will leave. The preference is to play in a big European league but you never know. There is much interest from Brazil. The World Cup is going to be played there and Lucio knows it. We do not know about the future.”
