Udinese Boss: “Samir Handanovic Is An Inter Player” And Contract Detail

The son of Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo, Gino Pozzo, has confirmed to Gazzetta dello Sport that negotiations with Inter for Samir Handanovic are now completed. “I can confirm that there is an agreement with Inter with Faraoni as a player in exchange. What missing are his signature and the official announcement.”

According to Sky, it is practically done. Agreement has been reached with Udinese for 11 million euros plus half of Marco Davide Faraoni while with the keeper, there has been agreement for some time. For Samir Handanovic, what missing is just the last final details. The Slovenian goalkeeper will sign a four-year deal at two million per plus bonus.

Cristian Chivu: “My First Choice Was Inter And I Want To End My Career Here”

“My first choice was Inter.” That was Cristian Chivu one that recently has renewed contract with Inter. The Romanian player was very close to leave Milan but at the end, it all worked out the right way.

“Last year we talked a lot but management always told me to stay calm because they will offer me a contract renewal. There was only one uncertain period because no one knew if we would play in the Champions League or not and where I would play but then there was no problem. We reached a common agreement and there are some bonuses in the contract but I am not interested in money because if I were, I would have gone somewhere else.

“Inter made me a reasonable proposal. I am 32 years old and the club is renewing in line with the Financial Fair Play by reducing the wages. But Inter are Inter, the history, the prestige of this club, why should I not accept after 8 years playing at high level? I am lucky, I want to finish my career at Inter and I think this will be my last contract as a player.

“Proposal from Real? I often speak with Mou. We exchange messages but there was nothing. When I was at Roma, the papers said that I would sign (extension) but I decided to come to Inter. I left Roma because I was blamed of making a large hole in the budget and so I was sold. Galatasaray? Yes there was something but nothing really was concrete. There were also opportunities in Asia and the Middle East but…

“Sneijder? I heard that Wesley was very disappointed now this Euro went wrong but he will have plenty of time to relax and become great again.”

Palermo General Director On Silvestre: “We’re Still Far”

Inter and Palermo are still distance apart regarding Matias Silvestre. And this gap is somewhere between two and three million. Giorgio Perinetti, Palermo director, has confirmed this after the meeting yesterday. “We are still far away and at the moment there are no new developments.” According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the request of Palermo is 9 million euros.

Handanovic To Have Medical Exam Tomorrow

It is turning into a reality. Samir Handanovic is just a physical and signature away from becoming an Inter player. According to Sky, Faraoni has signed a contract with Udinese and Handanovic will soon do the same. It is all done regarding the goalkeeper’s situation and he will sign a four-year deal with two million euros per season, less than what of what Julio Cesar is making currently. Not only that, tomorrow the Slovenian goalkeeper will have a medical exam but his official presentation is not yet determined.

Julio Cesar: “No Intention Of Leaving Inter”

Julio Cesar is not going anywhere at least that is what his intention is. The Brazilian goalkeeper is at an awkward situation now that Samir Handanovic is basically an Inter player, a move that even got some reaction from his wife who accuses Inter of being “disrespectful.” In an interview with Sky, here is what Julio Cesar has to say.

“I am very well (smiles). Handanovic? He is a very good goalkeeper and so it is better for us. We are three very strong goalkeepers. I have a contract until 2014 and I am an Inter player. I think that I will stay here and compete for the position and it is the coach that will decide on who will take the field. Again, if Handanovic comes to Inter it is because he is good.

“Milan? there is absolute nothing. Maicon and Lucio? I hope Lucio does well. Juve have made a fantastic signing. Last thing: a big hug to the fans.”

Inter, Palermo Reached Agreement For Matias Silvestre

What a busy day today. After everything that has happened today regarding our goalkeeper situation, now comes the news that Inter and Palermo have reached agreement for Matias Silvestre. This was the result of a direct phone call between Massimo Moratti and Maurzio Zamparini. According to Sky this deal is done, the Argentinian defender will go to Inter on loan for 2 million and then Inter will have the option to sign him to a permanent contract at the end of this upcoming season for 6.5 million. The revolution continues…

Marco Branca: “We’ll Talk About Handanovic When It’s Definite. Julio Cesar…”

Marco Branca took a few minutes to discuss the possible changing between the goal posts of Inter. “About Handanovic, we will talk when everything is definite. Julio Cesar is a part of our history and we will address everything calmly.”

Handanovic is expected to have a medical tomorrow and then complete the final steps to become the new Inter goalkeeper.

Sky: Final Meeting For Matias Silvestre Tomorrow

This should be the final meeting to define everything. Tomorrow Inter and Palermo will meet once more to close all for Matias Silvestre. Here is the latest update from Gianluca Di Marzio:

“A new meeting, the one to close. After the phone call between Moratti and Zamparini, Inter and Palermo tomorrow will meet again to define the deal of Silvestre. The protagonists of this meeting should be directors from both sides and they will close a transaction of 8.5 million euros (loan and then option to sign permanently) which is payable in four years. Another meeting, this perhaps is the right one.”

Forlan’s Father: “Diego Will Terminate Contract With Inter”

More confirmation has arrived that Diego Forlan and Inter will say goodbye. To confirm this is Pablo Forlan, the player’s father, who spoke to La Ora Deportiva explaining the next steps that his son will take: “Diego is traveling with his older brother to Milan to terminate his contract with Inter. If it is terminated and he will go to Internacional because talks are in advantaged stage. He wants to play closer to home because he has been away for too long.”

Sky: It’s Stramaccioni That Wanted Handanovic

Inter and Andrea Stramaccioni have chosen their new goalkeeper: Samir Handanovic. The Slovenian is already in Milan and tomorrow he will have a physical before becoming an Inter player officially. But other than better economic sense (Handanovic is going to make less than half of Julio Cesar’s salary), Sky has revealed that it was Stramaccioni who decided to focus on Handanovic. Now, Inter will need to talk to Julio Cesar.

Samir Handanovic: "Happy To Be Here"

The new Inter goalkeeper has spoken. After having landed in Milan moments ago, Samir Handanovic had a few words as Inter goalkeeper. “I wanted to go to a big club and now I’m here. I am very happy. I must also say thanks to all Udinese fans.”

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, at the latest, Handanovic will sign a contract tomorrow and then become officially the new Inter player.

HANDANOVIC: “I WANTED A BIG CLUB. INTER? WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY.”

The best penalty stopper has arrived in Milan.
To Udinese are 11 million and the card of Faraoni.

Milan – “I wanted to go to a big club and now I have arrived here. I am happy.” Samir Handanovic is a shy person as he was almost running away from the cameras. But that’s how he is, that’s not him being impolite.

Sprint negotiations Handanovic is the new Inter goalkeeper and already today, he will likely have a medical exam. The last step to signing a new four-year contract that will bind him to the Nerazzurri. Negotiations were starting to speed up at the beginning of this week: 11 million to Udinese plus the card of Faraoni. Inter had to let go one of the young players for the arrival of the Slovenian goalkeeper who knows how to hypnotize opponents not just from the spot. A goalkeeper that Tottenham wanted and last year was very close to go to Bayern Munich. The deal was practically closed late yesterday afternoon with the representatives of the player were at the Inter headquarters in the center of Milan.

Timidness Introverted, reserved, shy. You can choose those adjectives to describe Samir and all three would suit him perfectly. Married to Zoja and has a son named Alen. He loves Italian food but at the same time very attentive to nutrients. Off the field, he is a model as a father. How does he save penalties? “I just practice a lot on my reaction and try to study the penalty takers on DVDs. Other than that, I have no special recipes,” he said last night.

Career Arrived in Italy in 2004 and played only three games in Friuli during his first season (2004-2005). All ended with 1-1 draw against Sampdoria, Cagliari and Milan. Then the next season, he went back and forth between Treviso and Lazio. In 2006-2007 in Rimini, that was when he made his first impact by playing 39 out of 42 league games. Udinese took him back and the improving process began. “I want to thank all the fans in Friuli, I will be able to greet them in the coming days. I also thank the club and Pozzo family for these beautiful years.” A thought for those who helped him becoming a well known goalkeeper was not lacking last night. Everything still seems a bit too fast for such a quick and instinctive goalkeeper who has a quite and peaceful daily life. The next step will be intense, between the official presentation and of course playing for Andrea Stramaccioni. He did not comment on where Julio Cesar will play, all we got was a shy and embarrassed smile as if to say: “Excuse me, I just arrived here.” Got in a car to go to an Inter hotel near the stadium. The first evening of Handanovic as an Inter player was like that. Starting from today is a new life: “It is a great opportunity, I am ready to play.”

Done Deal For Matias Silvestre

Remember that final meeting between Inter and Palermo that we talked about yesterday? Well, it is finished and with that Matias Silvestre is now an Inter player (not official yet though). Leaving Inter headquarters at about 10 am local time were Giorgio Perinetti and Luca Cattani, both Palemro directors and they all have confirmed: “It’s done for Silvestre to Inter. Missing only the signature.”

The figure is about 8-9 million. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Matias is in Milan taking his medical just like Handanovic. Both visits are taking place at the moment.

Medical Visits For Both Silvestre And Handanovic

Very little is missing and after that, Samir Handanovic and Matias Silvestre will become the two newest Inter players. As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, taking place at this time is the medical for both players who left Melia Hotel earlier today where he met with Marco Branca. Silvestre is in Milan, now together with Handanovic will have a medical and then sign a new contract with Inter.

Sky: Maicon’s Agent To London Negotiating With Chelsea

Here is the latest on the situation of Maicon. The Brazilian right-back is more and more closer to Chelsea. According to Sky, the player’s agent is currently in London and wants to negotiate directly with Chelsea. This meeting will be decisive, one that could close everything in the next few days. The figure is around 8 million euros plus bonus. Maicon is always inching close to Chelsea and away from Inter.

Agent: “Done With Inter For Gaby Mudingayi”

Today is the day of Silvestre and Handanovic with both taking a medical at this moment, something that perhaps not too long, Gaby Mudingayi will experience. Here is the player’s agent scudding the situation:

“With Inter we will close soon. He will sign for two or three seasons. Gaby is obviously quite pleased with this transfer and he deserved it. He has worked hard in recent years and now the reward has came. He is always undervalued in Belgium but this new adventure could really be a turning point.”

To Bologna is 2 million with some young players yet to be determined.

Inter Target Paulinho: “I Want To Stay At Corinthians”

Among the names on top of Inter directors’ transfer list is Paulinho. However, after winning the Copa Libertadores with his Corinthians, the Brazilian midfielder stops everything about the future. “I want to stay. I never received an official offer and so I will stay here. This team does not depend on a star because we are a solid group with many quality players.”

Forlan’s Termination To Come Today Or Tomorrow

Inter are about to get rid of Diego Forlan. The Uruguayan will no longer wear the black and blue shirt and everything is being defined for the termination of contract. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, between today and tomorrow, the contract will be terminated without a golden handshake and then the player is free to go to Internacional.

Samir Handanovic: “I’m Truly Happy”

Samir Handanovic and Inter are now a marrige. After the signing of his contract, the Slovenian goalkeeper spoke and expressed his feelings on this new adventure at Inter to Sky. “I am truly happen and Inter are the team that I wanted. Julio Cesar? He spoke very nice of me and so I can only thank him.”

Meeting Inter-Samp For Poli, Pazzini And Three Youngsters

Another transfer market meeting just started a few minutes ago. Sampdoria sporting director Pasquale Sensibile is currently in the headquarters of Inter. According to Sky, the Blucerchiati director will only talk about Andrea Poli, the player that Inter are trying to reduce the price by including a few players in the deal. On the table are names like Donati, Livaja and Caldirola.

But that’s not all. People in Genoa believe that both clubs will also be talking about Giampaolo Pazzini. All we can do now is waiting for the news.

No Agreement For Andrea Poli, Inter And Samp To Meet Again

There is still no agreement. Inter and Sampdoria met today to talk about Poli and that meeting is now over. The agreement, however, has not yet been reached. Both clubs also discussed Marko Livaja, a player that Samp like quite a bit but even for the young striker, there is no agreement for the formula for this transfer. Sporting director Pasquale Sensibile then ensures that both clubs did not talk about Pazzini. But how knows how the future meetings will turn out because Inter and Samp will meet again.

Adriano Galliani: “I Like Julio Cesar But He Will Not Come To Milan”

Speaking to Sky, Adriano Galliani has closed the doors to the possible transfer of Julio Cesar to the Rossoneri:

“Julio Cesar is a great goalkeeper as well as a very nice person but he will not arrive here and that’s for sure. In that role we are very well covered with Amelia, Abbiati and the young keeper Gabriel and so Julio Cesar will not come here.”

Gaby Mudingayi: “Waiting For News From My Agent”

“I’m still waiting for news from my agent. At this moment, I don’t know what my future will be.” That was Gaby Mudingayi to SportItalia. Then a curious situation happened with a fan giving him an Inter shirt “but I am still at Bologna…”

With confirmation coming from the player’s agent as well as Bologna president, it is just a matter of time until Inter will have Mudingayi as a low-cost option for the midfield.

Mission In Brazil For Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio

Palacio, Guarin, Handanovic and Silvestre. The transfer market of Inter is in full swing but it seems that it’s not going to stop here. As revealed by Gianluca di Marzio, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio flew to Brazil to watch the match between Corinthians and Boca Juniors. The Inter director was there primarily for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho, one that Inter like quite a bit.

But that’s not all. There are two other reasons for this trip to Brazil and they’re called: Julio Cesar and Lucas. For the goalkeeper, it is very likely that he will leave Inter and now the Nerazzurri are trying to find a team interested in him in Brazil. For Lucas, well, it is obvious. Many people believe that Inter will continue trying until the end for the talented player of Sao Paulo.

WILD INTER: BLITZ FOR LUCAS

In Brazil to close. The price has dropped and he can arrive after the Olympic Games.
Negotiations could be intervened with the help of Pirelli.

Milan – Lucas Moura, yes, it’s him again. One is still in the plans of Andrea Stramaccioni regardless of a potential sale of Wesley Sneijder. Inter have demonstrated that they have taken their eyes off the talented Brazilian of Sao Paulo. In the past, it was Marco Branca with his mission in Brazil, and now it is Piero Ausilio’s turn. The sporting director of Inter has started a new blitz towards Brazil in order to add Lucas to the New Inter Project.

Pirelli to be involved? The endorsement of Massimo Moratti was decisive. Inter have decided to move with discretion and immediacy because with him the Project of Rejuvenation would make a lot more sense. Lucas, a 19 year-old who can play multiple positions as a winger, second striker or as a trequartisa, is viewed as a perfect prospect for this new Inter. Some rumors even suggest that there may be the involvement of Pirelli in negotiations, the sponsor with very high regard especially in Brazil could enter by giving a decisive hand. Lucas, certainly, has been pursued for months after months and now it seems the original plan will go ahead which is he will participate in the Olympics and then Lucas will leave Sao Paulo.

Pole position The initial asking price of 35 million is no more because the Brazilian club would be willing to lower their request. It is difficult however to estimate a precise figure but the fact remains that this blitz of Inter was needed in order to lay a foundation with the Brazilian club but more importantly to beat out the competition from Real Madrid. Inter remain the favorite to land Lucas because this interest has been going on for so long (over a year) and those overseas trips of Marco Branca facilitated understanding and trust. The player’s father was also in Milan to visit the facilities, something that he did the same with Madrid. But now the Inter club can even grip on tightly to its pole position because there is already feeling with the player.

OFFICIAL: Matias Silvestre Now Belongs To Inter

Finally there is the official announcement. Matias Silvestre is an Inter player, it’s all done. The new Inter defender will take the place of Lucio in the back line of Andrea Stramaccioni. To make the formality of this transaction, here is the official announcement on Palermo’s website:

“U.S. Città di Palermo announce that it has sold Matias Silvestre to F.C. Internazionale. The defender arrives to the Milan club on loan with right to purchase.”

The Argentinian will be there in Pinzolo to start training camp with his new team. The formula of this acquisition is a 2 million loan with the option to sign permanently at 6-6.5 million euros. The total of 8-8.5 million will be payable in four years.

Matias Silvestre: “I’m Now At A Great Club”

“I am very happy to be here at Inter. Here, there are so many Argentinians and above all I will have the opportunity to play in a great team and fight for the most important titles like I was with Boca Juniors.”

Those words belong to Matias Silvestre to the Corriere dello Sport. The Argentinian is ready for this new adventure and ready to impress.

OFFICIAL: Diego Forlan To Internacional

Diego Forlan has finally resolved his contract with Inter after a dark season. Here is his agent Jorge Baidek:

“We are celebrating the success of this negotiation. Management will make an official statement shortly. I have always been optimistic about this deal. Now we are leaving to Sao Paulo today and then to Porto Alegre Saturday.”

Shortly after the agent’s statement, S.C. Internacional announced the deal:

“Diego Forlan, elected the best player in World Cup 2010, has taken a medical and signed a contract with Internacional until July 2015. The striker is just another talent added to a group of experienced players. He has demonstrated the ambition to fight for victories in the Brazilian league.”

OFFICIAL: Lorenzo Crisetig To Spezia

A.C. Spezia have formalized the loan of Lorenzo Crisetig, the 19 year-old midfielder co-owned between Inter and Parma.

“Spezia announce that it has reached agreement with Parma FC for the transfer of midfielder Lorenzo Crisetig on a formula of loan. The Friulano born in 1993 is co-owned between the Ducali and Inter, the team that he played in youth systems from Giovanissimi Nazionali to Primavera. Reached the first team of Mourinho in the 2009-2010 season and in early January, first call-up for an official match in Serie A. He also represented the U-16 to U-21 Italian national which he was the youngest to debut ever.”

Besiktas Interested In Julio Cesar

New developments regarding the situation of Julio Cesar could come very soon. According to Tutto Mercato Web, Besiktas have requested information on the Brazilian goalkeeper and in the next few days will make official contacts. Many believe that Julio Cesar is on his way out of Inter because the Nerazzurri want to make Handanovic the number one keeper with Belec as his backup.

Chapter Outgoing Transfers: Dejan Stankovic’s Future Uncertain

Inter have been working on the last few days to complete the signings of Samir Handanovic and Matias Silvestre and now, the Nerazzurri could focus on the sale part of a transfer market. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, there are many teams with uncertain future.

“Lucio is gone and the next case to be solved is the situation of Julio Cesar, was not called up for training camp and is not in the plans of Andrea Stramaccioni. The rebuilding process of Inter will then continue with the sale of Maicon, who is liked very much by Real Madrid and Chelsea. Another player that could leave is Giampaolo Pazzini (Samp want him back) but on the condition that Inter will have to find another striker. Forlan’s contract is terminated and do not forget the situation of Dejan Stnakovic: future in great balance and will be determined in the next few days with a final decision.”

Gaby Mudingayi: “I’m Very Close To Inter”

“I am at Inter? The clubs must agree to a deal but I believe they are very close.” That was Bologna midfielder Gaby Mudingayi to Tutto Mercato Web, the next signing of Inter. When I was at Lazio, I was fine as well as right now at Bologna where I have had the opportunity to grow and show my quality. Inter are a top club, one great team.”

Piero Ausilio Met Father And Agent Of Lucas In Brazil

“A real attack from Inter in Brazil.” That was how the Brazilian press has described the trip of Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio to Brazil for Lucas Moura and Paulinho. In yesterday morning in Brazil, or early afternoon in Italy, Ausilio in Sao Paulo did have two meetings. The first was about a clear transfer target in Lucas. Not only Wagner Ribeiro, agent, was at this meeting but also the player’s father as well. On his part, Lucas stated that he has no intention of leaving Sao Paulo at the moment but Inter, according to the Lancenet, are confident that after the Olympics, the situation can change. Ausilio has confirmed the firm and clear presence of Inter on Lucas. The first offer of Inter was rejected by Sao Paulo and according to the source, it is going to need a bit more to convince Sao Paulo.

Immediately after the meeting for Lucas, Piero Ausilio also met with the representatives of Paulinho. A very positive meeting because Inter have made 8 million euros available to sign the Corinthians midfielder. It will be a difficult negotiation because Corinthians want to lock Paulinho up for the Club World Cup in December.

So two meetings in just a few days. What will be the outcome? But regardless, Ausilio will continue his mission and “he has no intention to return empty-handed,” said Lancenet.

Paulinho Standby, Lucas Can Be Done Late August

On Wednesday, sporting director Piero Ausilio will return from Brazil just in time to see the first pre-season friendly against Trentino Thursday afternoon. Ausilio will return from South America with a formal commitment for Paulinho and the knowledge that Lucas is still difficult but eventually, the stubbornness of Inter – which for over a year working with the player, his representatives and Sao Paulo, will bear fruit. The sprint will arrive after the Olympics with the help of Pirelli and the cash from at least one big sale. The big signing will be him. “Inter are a big club and everybody dreams of playing for one day and I am no different. I know that my father and agent have talked with them but I am only thinking of the Olympics,” confessed Lucas. Paulinho, however, remains on standby.

Inter For Pazzini Now A Past

Giampaolo Pazzini at training camp in Pinzolo has confessed that he feels no longer wanted by the club. “The club has made their choices and I am not in their plans,” he said. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter can now be considered as Pazzini’s past as the Italian striker is on his way out of the club in Milan.

“His statement was posted via Inter’s official Twitter account which effectively puts the stamp on a situation which has been known for some time. For the his future, there are a possible return to Sampdoria, Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino. For him, Inter are almost the past.”

Andrea Ranocchia With Uncertain Future

The future of Andrea Ranocchia remains in balance. Manchester City have denied that the defender is one of their transfer targets but this could be a strategy to lower the demand from Inter. The Italian is also appreciated by PSG who, after the collapse of Thiago Silva deal, are thinking about Ranocchia as a possible reinforcement for the defense.

The French club is the only one that could offer the 15 million asking price from Inter and everything should be clearer in the next 10 days. If he leaves, there is always Marco Andreolli behind the scene.

Report – Corinthians Want To Acquire Full Ownership Of Paulinho

This obstacle is not the easiest to overcome. According to Globoesporte, Corinthians are far from willing to let go of Paulinho to Inter and now the club wants to acquire the entire card of the player and thus becoming the number one competitor of Inter.

“The club wants to use the money from Leandro Castan’s sale to Roma to acquire Paulinho. In the midfielders current contract, he is owned by Banco BMG and Audax SP at 45% meaning that Corinthians will be forced to sell to any offer.”

In addition, the Corinthians sporting director Edu Gaspar warns Inter:

“It is not an easy negotiation because three parties must be convinced. We will sit down to talk with our partners to evaluate the best situation for everybody. We’ll sell Paulinho only if this deal benefits us.”

Sao Paulo Vicepresident: “Inter On Lucas? They Don’t Have The Money”

The Lucas Moura saga continues. It has been widely reported that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has gone to Brazil (will return Wednesday) for two main objectives: Paulinho of Corinthians but especially Lucas Moura of Sao Paulo. It seems that, according to Brazilian press, Inter have made an offer of 25 million euros to bring the talented 19 year-old to Milan. However, this new piece of information has been denied by Sao Paulo vicepresident Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes.

“There are no ongoing negotiations. The offer of 25 million is ridiculous because a player like Lucas cannot be paid for so little. Another team has offered more but we said no. Italian football is in crisis, Inter, are in crisis economically and they seem to be doing this to give satisfaction to the fans. Lucas is happy here. He’ll leave for the Olympics and then will respect his contract with Sao Paulo.”

Last Obstacle For Maicon-Chelsea To Happen

Maicon is closer and closer to the time to say goodbye to Inter. The agent of the Brazilian right-back is negotiating with Chelsea and according to Sky, both parties are just one obstacle away from coming to an agreement: the duration of the contract. Maicon is pushing for a four-year deal while the Blues are stopping at three years. Once this obstacle is solved, il Colosso will salute the black and blue colors.

Journalist: “Rebuilding Process Not Over. Lucas, The Dream”

It has definitely been a busy summer so far for Massimo Moratti and his staff. Many transfers, incoming and as well as outgoing, have come to fruition such as that of Samir Handanovic, Matias Silvestre, Rodrigo Palacio and not forget contract termination for both Lucio and Diego Forlan. But to Carlo Laudisa, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist, this rebuilding process is not done.

“The rebuilding process of Inter will continue and is not yet complete. The dream for a top player remains Lucas but that is not all because Inter are working on several fronts including Destro.”

Lucas: “Anything Can Happen After The Olympics But I’m Happy Here”

Lucas Moura continues to send messages to Inter, the club that has been following him for over a year. Here are his words gathered by FC Inter 1908:

“I am happy that the big European clubs are interested in me. But now I want to concentrate solely on Brazil and the Olympics. My parents and agent will take care of these things and you never know what will happen after the Olympics. However I have a contract with Sao Paulo, my club is Sao Paulo and I want to stay because I am happy here.”

Sampdoria Director: “Pazzini Not In Our Plans”

Speaking to Mediaset Premium, Sampdoria sporting director Pasquale Sensibile discusses the situation of Giampaolo Pazzini and the possibility of a return to the Blucerchiati:

“Pazzini represents the past and we want to look forward. Of course, there may be an exception but his salary is very high. We have a lot of respect for Giampaolo but he is not in Sampdoria’s plans at the moment.”

ANZHI TO TRY AGAIN FOR SNEIJDER
INTER TO MAKE OFFER FOR PAULINHO

25 million ready for Wes but he said no.
Closing the deal for the 23 year-old Brazilian is almost here.

Milan – Cash from Russia. It seems like billionaire Kerimo, Anzhi boss, wants to go shopping at Inter again. Last August it was Samuel Eto’o, and now it could be Wesley Sneijder.

Big offer For the 28 year-old from Utrecht, the Russians are ready to pay 25 million for his card and even 15 million for a yearly salary. That was reported by the local media and backed by that in the Netherlands. It should be stressed that management of the Russian club has changed completely since last year and in the dressing room of Anzhi, they are already talking about Sneijder. It seems that historically, the dressing room knows what negotiations are on course.

Braking However, the fact is that it would be hard for the player to accept playing in Russia. Also because the ball would be in Massimo Moratti’s court. On one hand, Wes is the man that Stramaccioni wants to build his Inter around, but then again the coach would be first to understand the huge salary that the player is making (12 million gross each of the next three seasons) and that Sneijder is the only player in the team that could make the club 20 million or more.

Lucas And with that money it will be even easier for Lucas to arrive. The 19 year-old of Sao Paulo will be the true big target of this transfer window although his arrival will not be easy and the cost remains high. While he has indicated that he is open to the interest from Inter, the club is downplaying it in order to raise the price. Not only that according to rumors from England (Daily Mail), Manchester United are ready to go up to 37 million. There is good news however, which is Chelsea are now out of the chase because the Blues have gotten Oscar from Internacional.

Paulinho The easiest is Paulinho. The card of the 23 year-old is divided between Audax, where the boy grew up in, and BMG which owns half of the player and wants 10 million instead of 8 offered by Inter. Corinthians, where Paulinho currently plays at, have the player on loan and will take only 10% in case of a sale. Not to forget that the midfielder has a non-EU status meaning taking Paulinho would make Inter giving up on one of Lucas or Kolarov.

Chaos midfield Meanwhile, Inter will have to define many different situations for the midfield from Stankovic to picking the option of Poli to Mudingayi, whom Inter already have gotten but everybody is waiting for the betting scandal’s sentences. Bologna will look to complete the loan move of Juan Jesus. No news however with Sampdoria with whom, Inter are trying to include Pazini in the deal for Poli who will eventually become an Inter player. Sampdoria yesterday announced the signing of Maxi Lopez but that does not exclude the possible arrival of the Italian striker.

Fullbacks We will have to wait a bit longer for Maicon, the player that Inter are looking to make at least 8 milion for. Those will go to either Debuchy, Cissokho and of course Kolarov.

Corinthians Director: “Paulinho-Inter, Hard To Say Yes”

The intriguing situation of Paulinho is in a to-be-defined stage. After the official proposal from Inter to Corinthians, their sporting director Edu Gaspar discusses this situation.

“The people know and talk to Paulinho often can see that the player is happy at Corinthians and is identified himself with this club. We are thinking about getting all the sport rights of Paulinho (the player is owned by three organizations) because that way we can make sure that we would own him entirely. I can say that for him today, it is not easy to leave Corinthians. Paulinho should also think carefully before deciding whether to leave but on our part, we will do everything to keep him because he is Corinthians.”

Sky: Paulinho To Inter In 2-3 Days

Our next signing could be on the horizon, in the next 2-3 days to be specific. According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, Inter are on the verge of completing the Paulinho signing.

“Inter have laid the groundwork to acquire Paulinho in two or three days. The Nerazzurri have the OK from the his card’s holders (Banco BMG and Audax SP) but they still need an overall OK. The feelings are positive, and with the request of 8-8.5 million, there is real optimism. We’ll see if sporting director Ausilio wants to close immediately now or when he is back in Italy. In 2-3 days, it can be done because Corinthians do not have a big say in this. The club has Paulinho on loan and have only 10% of his sale.”

Lucas: “So Proud That Inter Interested In Me”

This whole thing is going to a drawn-out and exhausting process. By now you know that Inter sporting director, Piero Ausilio, flew to Brazil (is still there, going back on Wednesday) on the mission of making SOME progress for two main transfer targets: Paulinho and Lucas. Especially the latter, one that Piero Ausilio was in the stadium to watch the game against Coritiba for. The jewel of Brazilian football, recently, has reopened the door to Inter and once again in just a matter of days, spends another nice words for Inter.

“I am happy and proud that Inter are interested in me. They are a big European club but at the moment I do not know anything about it. These are just transfer rumors and my agent is the one that take cares of these things. I am only thinking about the national team and the Olympics. I am happy at Sao Paulo and have a contract. But right now, I am just thinking of playing football.”

Latest Offer (25 Million + Cou on loan) For Lucas Rejected

“There is an offer from Inter for Lucas.” That was the headline on many Brazilian newspapers and websites earlier this morning. According to Lancenet, confirmed by many others, a formal offer has arrived to Sao Paulo. The offer is 25 million euros plus the one year loan of Philippe Coutinho. The Inter player, just came back from Espanyol, could accept this move because of the upcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

However, that offer was quickly rejected by Sao Paulo. The club’s president Juvenal Juvencio refused the offer because he wants at least 30-35 million cash for his player. So this whole thing remains a complicated situation even if Inter are intended to be serious by making a serious offer.

Sampdoria Director: “Right Now, Poli Is A Player Of Samp But…”

Sampdoria sporting director Pasquale Sensibile discusses the future of Andrea Poli, one that Inter and his club are discussing in order to come to a final solution.

“The deal that we made last year gave him the opportunity to play at the top level and at the same time gave Inter the chance to become aware of his value. Today, he is the player of Sampdoria but we believe that it is fair to give priority to his growing process.”

Sky: Inter Want Lucas But Coutinho Stays

Massimo Moratti wants Lucas. That was made clear yesterday after the friendly match between Trentino and Inter. “We are observing the situation and now it is time to make it more concrete. The player certainly has a lot of qualities.” But does getting Lucas mean that Inter will need to make a big sale, of Wesley Sneijder perhaps? Well, according to Sky’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Lucas is an objective regardless of Wesley Sneijder also because “there are no serious offers on the table for the Dutchman but as Moratti said, if they come, he would evaluate,” said Di Marzio.

But what about Philippe Coutinho? The Brazilian is not on the table according to reports. Despite rumors coming from Brazil (Inter are offering 25 million plus Cou on loan), Inter, currently have decided to hold on to Cou. That is the intention of the club and above all Andrea Stramaccioni who wants to make Coutinho the focal point of his team. But Lucas remains a concrete objective…

Russian Media Resists: “Wesley Sneijder’s Agent To Meet Anzhi Management”

More news coming from Russia on the possibility of a transfer of Wesley Sneijder to Anzhi. According to SovSport, Soren Lerby, Sneijder’s agent, will go to Russia in a few days to talk with Anzhi management on the future of his client. This information needs to be verified but many are confident that this deal will come to fruition. According to the same report, the statement of “there is nothing true between Sneijder and Anzhi” by agent was just a big bluff.

Lucas Can Be Done At 25 Million, Sprint To Meet July 27 Deadline?

Piero Ausilio’s mission in Brazil is now over. The Inter sporting director is now back in Milan with hopeful results. There is agreement in principle for Paulinho but Inter want to stall a bit to understand if it is worth it to occupy one of the two non-EU spots. As for Lucas, the player is inching closer to Inter despite the rumors of a loan request of the unsellable Philippe Coutinho. The impression is that at 25 million, the deal could close provided that Sao Paulo do not oppose with more resistance.

Chapter Pazzini. Yesterday his agent was in Inter headquarters for the second straight day. It is difficult to imagine that he only spoke about Alfonso, Inter keeper, going to Cremonese on loan. However, it is equally difficult to find a team that is willing to carry on their shoulder the high salary that il Pazzo is making. Other than Sampdoria, Lazio are the other team that interested in the Italian player and the Biancoceleste would take Pazzini on loan with right to purchase.

And then we have Wesley Sneijder, the truth is, this 25 million offer to Inter and 15 to the player does not exist. However, if Kerimov, Anshi boss, wants, he could close everything in a flash just like the deal for Eto’o last summer. The midfielder, however, would not like a transfer to Russia and is leaning towards saying no.

This new era of Inter is taking shape and the feeling is that the club has decided to invest even if it means making major sacrifices. Important note here is that the deadline to submit players for the Europea League is on July 27, exactly two weeks from now and Inter would like to have a few deals in place in order to give Stramaccioni an more complete picture of what his team will look like for next season.

Inter-Andrea Poli: It’s Over

The deal to keep Andrea Poli at Inter has completely collapsed. According to Sky, Andrea Poli will now return to Sampdoria after the right to purchase him permanently at five million was not exercised. His agent Branchini has said that after many attempts, this negotiation never took off and the last contact today was just useless. Stramaccioni, as well as the player, was pushing for a result in favor of Inter but nothing was realized.

Therefore, all Andrea Poli can do now is to thank Inter and start negotiations with other interested teams, which according to Sky, are Napoli, Milan and Juventus.

Speaking to Calciomercato.com, Giovanni Branchini, agent, discusses the situation of his client.

“It is just inopportune to continue waiting for a solution and so we are free from any moral commitment with Inter. It ends here and starting tomorrow, we will evaluate the situation together with Sampdoria.”

Andrea Stramaccioni was pushing for the player but management thought otherwise

“A heartfelt thank you to Inter for the great opportunity given to Poli last season and now, evidently, they have different prioritities which we fully respect. The club (Samp) and we were fully convinced that Andrea would remain an Inter player but that is not the case. On Monday, he will arrive to Bogliasco to join Sampdoria and then in the next few days we will evaluate the situation.”

Sao Paulo President: “I Told Branca That I Would Not Listen To Offers”

Inter continue pushing while Sao Paulo continue closing its doors. That is basically what is going on right now on the Lucas front of this transfer window. Here is Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio:

“I was with Branca two months ago. He talked about some fgures but I said to him that I would not listen because I don’t want to sell the boy. He is a serious professional and educated.”

Paulinho: “Official Offer From Inter Has Come, But I Want To Stay”

New statements from Paulinho. The Corinthians midfielder says that he wants to stay at his currently despite a strong pushing by Inter and the fact that all parties are not very far economically. “I want to stay at Corinthians and play in the Club World Cup. I have the official offer from Inter but I want to continue at Corinthians.”

Corinthians President: “Paulinho Stays Here”

“Paulinho stays here.” That was the comment from Corinthians president Mario Gobbi who were asked by reporters about the future of Paulinho. “He will stay here. The situation is quite different from that of Leandro Castan because in that case, it was the player who asked for the sale.”

Manchester United On Lucas, Inter To Return To Brazil Soon

A complicated situation and very difficult to solve. After the mission in Brazil by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, Manchester United are ready to make their moves for Lucas. According to Lancenet, Sir Alex Ferguson has sent his men to Brazil to make important and direct steps with Sao Paulo for the 19 year-old Braziian.

A move, that however will not puzzle Inter. According to the same source, Inter are returning to Brazil in the next few days to resume talks with agent Wagner Ribeiro and Jorge Rodrigues, father of Lucas and “to look to close the deal at 25-30 million euros.”

The order of Massimo Moratti is to make it happen and well, a new trip to Brazil is on the horizon.

OFFICIAL: Paulinho Stays At Corinthians

With an official announcement on the website of Corinthians, Paulinho has announced his permanent stay. “I could not make a hasty decision and I had to decide with serenity. I have chosen to stay and I know it would be worth it. This is the correct choice.” In addition, Paulinho has renewed contract until 2015 and now, the chances to see him at Inter are now officially gone.

37 MILLION NEEDED FOR LUCAS
PAULINHO STAYS IN BRAZIL

No from Sao Paulo to the 33 million from United for its player.
The other midfielder renews contract with Corinthians.

Pinzolo – The sudden twist in Paulinho’s case and the elevated cost of Lucas. Coming from Brazil is not good news for the transfer market of Inter.

Reverse Paulinho When it seemed very close that he would sign for Inter, the Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has decided to stay at least for another season in Brazil. This way, he will be able to play in the Club World Cup against Chelsea. The signature of Paulinho was put on a contract with Corinthians who, however, agree to sell the player within 12 months if a good offer comes. “We had three offers from Europe: Inter, Valencia and CSKA Moscow – explains Thiago Scuro, player’s agent. Corinthians however offered similar figures, practically the same and so considering the career prospects and proximity to his family, we decided to stay another year in Brazil. Chances are good that a transfer will arrive next season.”

Lucas Stramaccioni and Inter management will have a transfer market meeting earlier this week. Pazzini has an offer from Werder but he prefers to stay in Italy and is waiting for Juve or Lazio to move. For Julio Cesar, the option of Tottenham remains so does a contract termination. Maicon and Castaignos are waiting for news coming also from England. In this meeting, Inter will outline the strategy for the attack. In addition to a vice Milito (Destro is always on top of the list but competition is fierce just like for Damiao but the club could give its trust to Longo), they must decide what to do with Lucas. Coming from Brazil is the news that Sao Paulo have said no to the 33 million offer from Manchester United. The Brazilian club has finally set a fixed price of 30 million. The problem is Sao Paulo only own 80% of his card while the 20% belongs to the player. That means for Sao Paulo to get its 30 million, the total offer must be at least 37.5 million. From August 1, the situation will be difference again because the percentage held by the player’s representatives will raise from 20 to 30%. That’s why the Nerazzurri will have to make an extra effort with the help of Pirelli to obtain a sort of treasure chest with big sales.

Variable Sneijder And here the conversation turns to Sneijder. Despite the importance of the Dutchman, Stramaccioni himself has said that “nontransferable” players do not exist anymore. Rumors continue to emerge from Russia that Anzhi want Sneijder and Kerimov is ready to attack with an offer that is very difficult to resist.

Sky: Inter Value Pazzini At 10 Million

Giampaolo Pazzini is one of the most likely candidates to leave Inter this summer. According to Sky, “At the moment, there are no real offers for Pazzini. Sampdoria have pulled back (with the signing of Maxi Lopez) and Inter are asking for 10 million which for many clubs, are too much. It is a very difficult sale.”

Not to mention his high annual salary that he is making at Inter. Many clubs just cannot afford the Italian striker but we’ll see…

With No Poli And Paulinho, The Hypothesis Of Nuri Sahin Returns

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter are (re)thinking of Nuri Sahin. The midfielder has a great vision for the game, a fearsome shot, perfectly suited to the type of player requested by Stramaccioni: compact, elegant and capable of running the team.

At the moment, it seems that Jose Mourinho would prefer to keep the Turkish at Real Madrid in order to show that his idea to acquire him from Borussia Dortmund was not a failure. From Real Madrid perspectives, the club is growing in favor of the sale because it would save five million net of salary that the player makes per season.

Inter are thinking about a Guarin style deal, with a paid loan and right to purchase fixed at 12-13 million euros. As confirmed by Marca, newspaper that covers mostly Real Madrid, the Spanish club is considering this idea. There is much competition from clubs like Malaga, Dortmund and Tottenham.

Pazzini Rejected Werder Bremen For… Juve?

With Castaignos destined for the Premier League (8 million to Inter), we are still waiting for new developments regarding Pazzini’s future. Starting from today, all parties will look for a solution that satisfies everyone. The striker does like like a transfer to Germani (Werder Bremen) and is waiting for an Italian club to come forward. Lazio and Samp are interested but the one club that appears to have shown the most interest is Juventus. Pazzini, therefore, is waiting for a decisive step made by the Bianconeri and who knows, one day, he will be able to talk like Lucio about the Juve Scudetti…

Inter Pushing Julio Cesar To Spurs

Inter want to unblock the situation of Julio Cesar. This week, his agent Josias Cardoso will land in Milan and should find agreement with Inter management. Tottenham have yet to defined the purchase of Lloris and Inter are hoping to send to London either the Brazilian or Viviano (in stand-by with Fiorentina). It is difficult to think that on Wednesday, Julio will train in Appiano with his teammates.

Genoa President: “Agreement With Roma For Mattia Destro”

Bye bye Mattia Destro? Inter are not giving up but at this moment, the team that is in an absolute pole position is Roma. A few moments ago, president of Genoa Enrico Preziosi, announced the agreement with the Giallorossi for the Italian striker: “If we redeem his other half from Siena, we would have an agreement with Roma,” said Preziosi. The money that Roma have with the sale of Borini has made a difference, big difference.

Sky: Inter Looking To Close Mudingayi Deal

According to Sky, Inter are accelerating to define the arrival of the Belgium midfielder of Bologna in the next few hours. The Nerazzurri want to close especially after the complications for Paulinho (and losing out of Poli). Gaby Mudingayi is not in training camp with Bologna due to a muscle strain but soon, his time at Inter is approaching…

Massimo Moratti: “Lucas? High Bidding War But There’s Inter”

On the way out of his offices in Saras, Inter president Massimo Moratti was stopped by the present journalists to talk about the transfer market but first he started with Coutinho. “Coutinho has impressed me a lot, scored a great goal and played very well. Definitely a very good player that we already have.”

Then the president touches on the provocation of former Inter defender Lucio. “I wouldn’t take it too seriously, working for Juve he wanted to make them happy, they would have told him to do that…”

Earlier today Genoa president said that there is already an agreement with Roma for Mattia Destro, is Moratti really worried? “Yes, that’s terrible… I’m desperate.”

Transfer market discussion would be complete without talking about Lucas. “We’ll see, we’ll see… there is a challenging bidding war for the player but Inter are there. Let’s do it properly or not at all…”

Gaby Mudingayi To Make Inter Debut In Europa League?

According to a report from Sky, Gaby Mudingayi is on his way to Inter. In the next few hours, this deal could be unlocked because Inter want to have the player before the third qualifying round in the Europa League. The Nerazzurri would like to have Mudingayi in order to submit his name to UEFA and get the midfielder settled with Stramaccioni’s plans. Then, chances are that Gaby Mudingayi will make his Inter debut in the Europa League on August 2nd.

Meanwhile, in an interview with SportItalia, the Bologna midfielder talks a little bit about his injury and future.

“I am fine. It is not an injury but just a small knock and so I did not leave with the team because I want to recover from this. Inter? Negotiation continue and my agent is taking care about it.”

Sky: Andre Villas-Boas Seriously Thinking About Julio Cesar

Julio Cesar is moving further away from Inter day by day. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the new Tottenham Hotspur coach is seriously thinking of the Brazilian for his new team. “We have learned that Andre Villas-Boas, new coach of Tottenham, with his collaborators are making move to get concrete information on Julio Cesar, and he is thinking about this.”

Agreement Inter-Twente For Luc Castaignos

Luc Castaignos has chosen Twente according to his agent Karim El Atmani to De Telegraaf.

“Luc has chosen Twente because he wants to bet on a club that will give him space, this is the investment for his future. Inter and Twente are still talking but there’s a good chance that everything will go through. He spent a year at Inter privileging economically but he now wants to develop as a player. Sporting Lisbon are also a candidate but Twente are a head.”

Moments after this statement of the agent, coming out of the Dutch media is an agreement between Inter and Twente for the young striker. According to Algemeen Dagblad, one of the most reliable Dutch media organizations, agreement for Luc Castaignos has been reached.

“Luc wants to return to Holland and this is his preference,” said El Atmani, the agent that is taking care of this operation. Algemeen Dagblad reveals that the agreement is seven million to Inter.

Fierce Competition For Nuri Sahin

Inter are back in the race for Nuri Sahin, according to the Spanish media. However, the Nerazzurri would have to beat out many competitors for the Turkish midfielder. Going after Nuri Sahin are Tottenham, Malaga as well as his former club Borussia Dortmund, one that he would not mind a return as he has talked a lot about it. In recent months, there was also talk of Milan. So these are the clubs that Inter will have to overcome.

Mediaset: Real Open To Sell Sahin

Straight from Sport Mediaset, here is the detail on the future of Nuri Sahin.

“While they are dreaming of Lucas, Nuri Sahin is always in the thoughts of Inter. The Nerazzurri are tempted by the Turkish field director and would like to include Maicon in negotiations with Real Madrid. Inter are asking eight million for the Brazilian fullback but could do a discount if Real turn Nuri Sahin the other way on loan. Real Madrid are willing to sacrifice the midfielder and so the deal could be done.”

Gaby Mudingayi To Sign Contract Tomorrow?

Gaby Mudingayi to Inter is a done deal. The Belgian midfielder is ready to make his move to Inter and there is already an agreement with Bologna. Tomorrow, the Belgian midfielder will be in Milan perhaps to have a medical exam as well as to sign the contract according to Sky. The one important detail here is that Mudingayi extended his contract at Bologna for one season, until 2014 and for this reason, Inter only want to have him on loan instead of of an outright purchase. So, 750 thousand for the loan and then another 750 if Inter decided to keep the player permanently.

Gaby Mudingayi: “I Am Now An Inter Player”

“Finally I am an Inter player and it was a long negotiation of four months. I am certain that we will be competitive for the Scudetto.” That is the newest Inter signing Gaby Mudingayi to Radio Mana Mana Sport who also launches the Scudetto challenge to Juventus and Milan for next season.

“I just talked to my agent and learned that it’s all done. Two clubs have reached an agreement and now I can finally consider myself an Inter player. Tomorrow I will be in Milan for a medical exam and to sign the contract. I am very happy partly because it was a very long negotiation which began four months ago when we were first contacted. I knew immediately then that it was doable and I was right.

“For me at 31 years old, this is a great showcase and I will have the opportunity to measure myself with great players like Cambiasso and Guarin. I do not have to do anything else other than prove myself and be available to the coach and my teammates.”

Gaby Mudingayi then talks about the ambitions of Inter, a club that is in a rebuilding process.

“Inter are rebuilding but its mentality is designed to aim at the high. Seeing how Milan have lost two great players in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Motta, I am sure that we will fight for the Scudetto. This club knows exactly what to do to be competitive for this upcoming season. Wesley Sneijder? He is really a great player but I do not know if he will stay or not but the club, on this front, knows what to do and does not need advice.”

Gaby Mudingayi: “Starting At Inter? Not Sure But I’ll Give My Best”

He is practically an Inter player and a few moments ago, Gaby Mudingayi discusses his move to Inter with SportItalia.

“Tomorrow I will have a medical and sign my new contract. I am very happy to have this opportunity. I do not know if I am going to start or not but I can guarantee that I will give my best for this new shirt. I will be totally available to coach Stramaccioni.”

Welcome Gaby Mudingayi, hopefully you can be a regular contributor to this team.

Sampdoria Vicepresident: “Poli-Inter? We’ll See…”

Speaking to Sky, Edoardo Garrone, Sampdoria vicepresident talks about the future of Andrea Poli, who is now back with the Blucerchiati after a loan period at Inter. The player has a lot of interest from many clubs like Napoli, Juventus and Milan. “For Poli, there are negotiations and we will see how they materialize. Regarding Inter, I know that it is closed but if it were to be reopen again, we will see then.”

Contract Signed, Gaby Mudingayi (Amost) Officially Inter Player

Gaby Mudingayi is a player of Inter. He was in headquarters to sign the contract and just left moments ago, as a new Inter player. In the headquarters with Branca and Ausilio, the Belgian has signed a three-year contract with Inter and he spoke immediately to the Gazzetta.it journalists.

“I am truly happy and I did not expect all these people. The Scudetto? We want to please the fans.”

The player has also taken a medical in Pavia and then signed the contract which will link him to Inter. Gaby Mudingayi arrives on loan with the right to purchase in the future. So we’re waiting for the official announcement.

Fenerbahce President: “I’ll Give The Fans A Gift: Wesley Sneijder”

Turkey, or Fenerbahce to be specific, is planning to make an assault for Wesley Sneijder. The Turkish club dreams of a big signing and its president wants to give the fans a top player. “The risk of being disqualified for betting reality bothered us and now the fans deserve a gift: Wesley Sneijder,” said Aziz Yildirim, Fenerbahce president.

For now it is only a dream, almost unreachable because this deal is very difficult, if not impossible. However, Fenerbahce would certainly give it a shot by relying on Sneijder’s countryman Dirk Kuyt to put in some positive words. In the past, they tried for Lucio and Forlan but failed and now they will turn their attention to Wesley Sneijder.

Perhaps the biggest obstacle that Fenerbahce have to overcome is the will of the player. Wesley Sneijder wants to stay at Inter and he has confirmed it earlier today via Twitter. The player is ready for a new season with Inter. So for now, everything is nothing but a desire that Aziz Yildirim has and chances are it will remain just that.

Julio Cesar-Roma, There’s Something…

Speaking to Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio discusses the current situation of Julio Cesar and explains how there could be something between the Brazilian and Roma. “There is something truth to these rumors. Zeman has already started playing Lobont in these early matches and may not trust Stekelenburg. Roma will have to think about Julio Cesar’s high salary.”

Milan Want Andrea Ranocchia But…

A silent inquiry. If the text messages from Antonio Conte weren’t enough, Andrea Ranocchia is gathering some interest also from Milan. The Rossoneri have had a discussion with the player’s agent Tullio Tinti and the idea was started. However, the answer was clear and decisive: Andrea Ranocchia will not leave Inter. Andrea Stramaccioni wants to keep the defender, who is training well during the this early part of the season. So at the moment, Ranocchia is untouchable.

Sky: Roma Made First Contact With Julio Cesar’s Representatives

First steps have been made. Roma have laying the foundation with Julio Cesar’s representatives. The Brazilian is going to leave Inter this summer but this deal is not going to be easy because of his high salary but all parties will talk. Roma have not talked to Inter yet but if Zeman decided not to bet on Stekelenburg, then this process of signing Julio Cesar will continue to go forward.

Agent: “Lucas To United? Invention Of The English”

The news that Lucas is practically signed by Manchester United (reported by the Mirror) was denied this morning by Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio. A while ago even the player’s agent, one that Inter are always in constant contact, spoke about this matter.

“These are just speculations from the English newspapers. I can guarantee at 100% that Lucas is not taken by Manchester United and he is not a sold player. The boy is thinking about the Olympics right now. A London newspaper invented this news which is a common thing in England.

“Lucas can go on the conditions that the player agrees to, the club that sells and one that buys. These conditions are not there.”

And the saga continue…

Giampaolo Pazzini To Juventus In August?

A rumor coming from Appiano Gentile on the future of Giampaolo Pazzini. It seems that Beppe Marotta, Juventus director, has called the striker guaranteeing that next month the club in Turin will complete all formalities to bring him to Antonio Conte. Giampaolo Pazzini wants to stay in Italy and many reports suggest that he is waiting for Juve to make official steps.

Maicon’s Future Still Uncertain

The Maicon situation is in balance. According to Sky, for the Brazilian right-back, everything is at stand-by at the moment because there are no proposals yet for him but with Inter, the romance seems to be over. A situation that Inter will need to understand more and define also because Maicon has an expiring contract in 2013.

Inter, Roma To Discuss Julio Cesar Soon

Inter and Roma could sit down at a table and discuss the transfer of Julio Cesar to the Giallorossi. The player, despite interest from Tottenham, wants to stay in Italy and this is the big advantage for Roma whose new coach, Zdenek Zeman, really likes the Brazilian keeper. According to Sky, two clubs could study together a formula that would be beneficial to both and also for the player himself.

Sky: Stramaccioni Likes Quagliarella, Idea Pazzini-Quag Swap

Only idea, no actual negotiations. According to Luca Marchetti of Sky, there is an existing idea of swapping players between Inter and Juventus. To the Bianconeri would be Giampaolo Pazzini, who would certainly love this move and has received a call from Marotta. To Inter, would be Fabio Quagliarella, not totally in the future plans at Juventus. For now it is only a simple idea.

Further reports from Sky say that an exchange with Pazzini is practicable. This is because the values of both players are virtually identical. In addition, Andrea Stramaccioni likes Fabio Quagliarella in his 4-2-3-1 and also he could use the Juve player in a vice-Milito role (or one of the three behind Milito). But we’ll see…

Inter Back In For Mattia Destro, Meeting With Genoa

The situation related to Mattia Destro is definitely one of the biggest soap operas in this transfer window. The premise is this: AS Roma have the player in their hands. Today, however, the meeting between the Giallorossi and his agents was delayed and both parties will talk again tomorrow.

The important news here is that, according to Sky, Inter could try again for Destro. The Nerazzurri initially did not want to enter into a bidding war so they let the player go, at least temporally. This news is oblivious linked to the meeting tomorrow between Destro’s reps and Roma and if both parties come to an agreement, then everything ends there. Otherwise, Inter are absolutely lurking around the corner, so are Juve.

As revealed by Sky, in fact, there was a meeting between Inter and Genoa a few minutes ago with the presence of Marco Branca, Piero Ausilio and Stefano Capozucca, Genoa sporting director. This, officially, was just a courtesy visit but in reality, Inter actually have informed Genoa that if everything collapses (Destro and Roma), then they would be willing to enter the picture for the Italian striker. The Nerazzurri have also requested information about negotiations with Capozucca.

So in short, this soap opera goes on. It depends on Mattia to end it.

Globesporte: Sao Paulo Have Decided To Sell Lucas

The continuous pressing for Lucas seems to have paid off. According to Globoesporte, Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio is convinced that Lucas will leave this transfer window.

“Juvenal met last week with his collaborators but then, he was still convinced that he did not want to sell Lucas because it would weaken the team. But it seems that he has been persuaded and has agreed to sell Lucas. Sao Paulo, however, want 30 million for its player.

“The latest push was given by the fans. Management has been greatly criticized by the fans for not accepting 30 million offers for Lucas. For this, management is definitely convinced that there will be no protest in case of the player’s farewell.”

Now it is up to Inter if they truly want Lucas, the time is now.

Sky: Luc Castaignos To Twente Tomorrow

Tomorrow could be the day to define the situation of Luc Castaignos. As explained by Sky, Twente should complete this transaction for the outright purchase of the Dutchman tomorrow and the player will return to his home after the short experience in Italy with Inter. The Nerzzurri would have some fresh cash thanks to this sell as much as 7 million euros plus bonuses.

Two-Hour Meeting With Genoa, Then With Agents: Inter Are Serious On Destro

Inter are coming back strongly on the front of Mattia Destro. According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, Inter had a two-hour meeting with Genoa today with all the important directors at this meeting. This dialogue was to inform Genoa that Inter are willing to enter into the discussion for the Italian striker if negotiations between the player and Roma fail. Then, the Nerazzurri have also spoken to the agents of the player, Vigorelli and Contratto, just to apply pressure to not close immediately with Roma but to take time instead. Roma already have an agreement with Genoa but the player’s will will decide his faith.

Lancenet: Manchester United Offer 40 Million For Lucas

Earlier today, a source from Brazil reported that Sao Paulo have decided to sell Lucas this transfer window. However, it seems that Inter are a little bit behind because Manchester United are ready to make a very lucrative offer for the 19 year-old. According to Lancenet, United have already made an offer that can shake Sao Paulo and its competition: 40 million euros. There is also talk of contacts already established between the club and Lucas’ agents as well as a five-year contract. United’s initial offer of 38 million was rejected.

Yes, Inter are still interested in Lucas but if this new offer of 40 million is confirmed, then a Manchester United shirt is waiting for Lucas.

From Portugal: Branca Will See Porto President For Fernando

After the words from Fernando’s agent (“Inter are willing to acquire Fernando”), here comes confirmation that Inter can make the next steps towards getting their transfer target. According to the Correio da Manha, Marco Branca has explicitly asked for a meeting with Porto president Pinto Da Costa to discuss the economic conditions that can free Fernando from the Portuguese club. The same source ensures that Inter have already spoken with Fernando via his representatives. Not only that, the Nerazzurri have provided a verbal proposal of 10 million euros to Porto while 2 million to Fernando which will double the salary that he is making currently.

These are big figures but the Correio da Manha guarantees that they will not be enough to close the deal. Fernando has a contract until 2014 and a release clause at 30 million. For him to leave, Porto would only discuss at the basis of 20 million euros. Clearly too much. Inter are working on this front, making some early important steps but taking him away from Porto would not be easy if not almost impossible. However, the Nerazzurri will surely provide a temptation for Da Costa.

The Story Of The Number 7

Sometimes a number can tell us lots of things and in Giampaolo Pazzini’s case, it is related to the transfer market. Here is Gianluca Di Marzo on the behind the scene of this sudden change of number.

“A shirt number can have great significance. Very much so. Just ask Giampaolo Pazzini who saw the number 7 on his shirt disappear quite suddenly. Ever since his comment on the stage in front of the fans in Pinzolo (“I’m not in Inter’s plans”), he has been staying home. But the story of the lost number 7 has also wowed him. He did not know until he walked in the dressing room and saw his number on the shirt of Coutinho. He had not been informed by anyone. Even Coutinho did not know anything. The young Brazilian has ensured that he never requested the number 7. An unpleasant surprise which was followed by the exclusions in these friendly matches. Pazzini and Inter are distant now more than ever. And who knows that number 7 shirt is not already waiting for il Pazzo somewhere else…”

Sky: Inter Want 10 Million For Luc Castaignos, New Meeting Friday

Sky has updated us the latest information on the possible transfer of Luc Castaignos to Twente. So yesterday there was a meeting between Inter and the Dutch club. However, the assessment of Inter on Luc Castaignos is nearly 10 million euros while Twente, instead, are offering 5 plus 1 in bonuses. Both clubs will try to reduce this huge gap on Friday probably with telephone contacts.

Two Possible Options Regarding Julio Cesar

Samir Handanovic, Vid Belec and Luca Castellazzi, they are the three goalkeepers that Inter will focus on this season. Meanwhile, Julio Cesar and Emiliano Viviano are no longer in the plans. Thus, the two goalkeepers are on their way out of Inter. As reported by Sky, Julio Cesar’s agents will be in Milan in the next few days to meet with Inter to talk about the future of his client. There are two options: contract termination or a new destination. Julio Cesar, himself, is looking for a team and there are three candidates for his service in Roma, Tottenham and the latest team is Arsenal.

Regarding Emiliano Viviano, Inter want to sell the player outright. The meeting between Inter and Palermo was positive and the Rosanero want to get Inter’s half of Viviano by paying 3.2 million euros. Fresh money for Inter for a transfer market that is not finished…

Agent: “Inter Like Gaston Ramirez But He Likely To Leave Italy”

Now that Lucas is an unreachable dream, in the last few hours, the rumors that Inter could go back to Gaston Ramirez have emerged. Here is the Uruguyan’s agent to Calciomercato.com:

“Inter like the player but we are very far regarding his value because Bologna are asking for 25 million. I think that the player will most likely leave Italy so much so that I am in London to talk with a club in the Premier League. Wolfsburg? It was the first club to move for him but certain figures are unattainable for them. Will he leave Bologna? I think so. He is one of the most important players in our national team and offers are not lacking. However, I repeat, it is difficult for him to stay in Italy.”

Antonio Cassano And The Inter Temptation

A sensational suggestion. Yes, right now it is just a suggestion by the Gazzetta dello Sport which has reported that Antonio Cassano would be tempted by a transfer to Inter. This hypothesis always came up over the years but never materialized. At Milan, Cassano is not happy and there is a conflict between him and Galliani who did not appreciate his comments at Euro 2012 (“I don’t know if I’m staying”). Milan only want happy players to stay at Milan and if Cassano is not, he can leave.

The player would love to make a return to Sampdoria to live in the city where he met his wife. Cassano has rejected several offers from abroad including those from Russia and Qatar. The only team that could tempt him is Inter, the team in his heart. In the past, he was seen several times with his friends Valentino Rossi and Marco Materazzi attending Champions League matches at the San Siro. The conclusion is, if Inter call, it would be hard for Cassano to say no.

Julio Cesar, The Former Number One Inter Goalkeeper

After many years defending the Inter goal so well, Julio Cesar is being shown the door by the same club. This decision, taken for budgetary reasons, was communicated in May to now the former number one Inter goalkeeper. His contacts with the team have been limited and when Julio arrives at training ground, his teammates are already started training. Occasionally during double sessions, Julio Cesar was at a separate table with Maicon, Jonathan and Coutinho.

Tottenham are in pole position but also watch out for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal as they are looking for an experienced goalkeeper. In Italy however, there are Milan and Roma. The Rossoneri must sell one of Abbiati and Amelia before doing anything else while Roma, who are not convinced by Stekeleburg, are planning to move. A portion of his salary will be paid by Inter but in the long run, they would save a lot of money.

Inter Want Fernando But Porto’s Request Very High

Inter want Fernando Reges. The Brazilian currently at Porto is one that Stramaccioni wants to give quantity and quality to his midfield but the request from the Portuguese club is very high. The club of Pinto Da Costa is in the red zone financially and must sell one of Rolando and Hulk to at least escape from financial crisis. But then alternative for Porto is to sell Fernando for a very high transfer fee: 20 million euros. Not good news for Inter who are looking to pay for a year loan with a contract of about 2 million annually.

Palermo President: “We’ll Close Viviano Deal Today”

Speaking to Radio Radio, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini discusses the case of Emiliano Viviano and the damaged relationship with Inter.

“No no, yesterday I exchanged two words with Moratti and I think he’ll give me a call this morning. We always have respect for each other. We are friends. He responded with the message telling me that this morning, he will call me and we will solve this situation.”

It is expected that Inter’s half of Emiliano Viviano will go to Palermo for about 3.2 million euros.

Emiliano Viviano To Palermo Done Deal

The meeting between Inter and Palemro in Milan for Emiliano Viviano has ended. The long-waited white smoke has come and now the goalkeeper fully belongs to Palermo who will turn him to Fiorentina on loan. Viviano had no response leaving Inter headquarters. The one uncertainty is the actual figure of this deal. Palermo will pay, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, 3 million euros while Sky reports it is 4 million. After a medical, the player will be available for Vincenzo Montella.

Twente Increase Offer For Luc Castaignos, Parties Closer

Inter and Twente are closer for Luc Castaignos. Negotiations stumbled a little bit after the meeting in Milan when the initial offer from them was just 5 million plus 1 more in bonuses. However, Twente did not give up and contacts between these clubs have been continued. Now as reported by Sky, both parties did just meet again today and Castaignos is closer to Twente. The Dutch club is ready to offer 7 million for the striker and this figure could be on to close this transaction.

Inter Ready To Make Offer For Alejandro Gomez

Inter are looking for a winger for their attack. The first name on the list is obviously Lucas, the one player that Inter will continue to dream but it is likely to be impossible. The alternative is Gaston Ramirez but he plays in a different role without forgetting his high price tag of 25 million euros. But according to the latest transfer news, Inter are going for their plan C which is Alejandro Gomez, the Catania player. The Nerazzurri are ready to offer 6 million euros to Catania for the Argentinian and we are now waiting for further developments.

Not only Alejandro Gomez, Inter have also asked Catania for Gonzalo Bergession. The striker is just an idea at the moment and he is not on the transfer market. Inter have been looking for a vice-Milito for quite some time.

Inter To Use Castaignos Money For Gomez

The Alejandro Gomez rumors have started to re-emerge in the last few days. According to reports, Inter are ready to make a six million offer for the Catania player. Just the money that would come from selling Luc Castaignos to Twente. Regarding that transaction, both clubs are very close and deal could be made soon. As soon as this deal closes, Inter then will start negotiation with Catania for Alejandro Gomez, a low cost alternative to Lucas.

Julio Cesar To Say Farewell Today?

Julio Cesar could say farewell to Inter today. The Brazilian is not in the plans of Inter and has realized that a divorce would be the best solution for everyone. Julio Cesar is making 4.5 million a season until 2014 and with that kind of salary, it is difficult for Inter to find a club that would bear that financial burden. The two strongest hypotheses right now are in England with Arsenal and Tottenham but these two clubs have not made any concrete offers.

Inter To Try One Last Time: 30 Million For Lucas

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter could deliver the last and decisive attack for Lucas within 10 days. The Nerazzurri will present an official offer and the Brazilian club will have to decide whether to take it or leave it because Inter cannot afford the waiting game anymore.

As reported by the Rome based newspaper, Inter are putting together a package that could exceed 30 million euros for the 19 year-old Lucas. This acceleration was because the continuous pressing by Manchester United and also there is Real Madrid. If succeeded, other potential signings (a vice-Milito, or a fullback in case of Maicon’s departure) would be low-cost.

Another Name To Fill Vice-Milito Position

From the sales of Viviano and Castaignos (this one is still in development), Inter will have a small “treasure chest” of about 10 million euros. It is difficult to tell if this money would be used to convince Sao Paulo for Lucas (added to whatever Inter are planning to offer because obviously 10 million would not be enough) or to complete other needs as Stramaccioni wants another quality midfielder and a vice-Milito.

Fernando, Porto midfielder, is on top of his list but the only one to acquire his service is to ask Porto to let him go on loan. The 20 million price tag is out of Inter financial capabilities. For the attack, we will continue to monitor Denis and Hernandez but here is the latest idea: Pablo Osvaldo, Roma striker. With the arrival of Mattia Destro, the former Fiorentina and Bologna striker might have less playing time and could consider a loan move to somewhere else.

Lucas: “My Future Will Be Decided After The Olympics”

Even when he is at the Olympics with the Brazilian team, Lucas just cannot help but to comment on his future. The talented winger denies that he is very close to join European football and that he only focuses on the Olympics.

“At this moment, I am very focused on my teams, the Brazilian national team and Sao Paulo. I will make the decisions about my future after the Olympics. I am a player of Sao Paulo and I have a contract with them. There is nothing official with any team other than Sao Paulo.”

Sky: Contract Termination For Julio Cesar Soon

The days at Inter for Julio Cesar are on countdown. In the next few hours should come the contract termination with Inter. And there is another reason that leads Inter to get rid of the Brazilian’s high salary. According to reports from Sky, Julio Cesar’s contract at Inter is increasing: this year it would go up as high as 4.9 million euros.

So Inter are trying to terminate contract as soon as possible after having found out that there are no concrete offers for the Brazilian.

Green Light From Mourinho: “Nuri Sahin Can Leave”

Jose Mourinho has given the green light for the possible sale of midfielder Nuri Sahin. Inter have been following this player for a long time and now the Portuguese coach has given the OK to sell. “If there is a great opportunity for him to play elsewhere then he can go. Last year, he did not play much and he needs to do so.”

So far no concrete movement done by Inter.

Agreement Reached, Luc Castaignos To Twente

Twente and Inter have finally reached an agreement for the transfer of Luc Castaignos to the Dutch team. As reported by Sky, there are only the final details left to be sorted out and then the official announcement will come. The deal is expected to close around 7 million euros including bonuses. So Castaignos’ experience at Inter ends here as the striker is in search of better luck at home. After him, it would be turn for Julio Cesar and Giampaolo Pazzini to leave the team. They are not part of the 25 man list for the Europa League (don’t have official numbers either).

Chievo Director: “Andreolli To Inter If Juve Acquire Ranocchia”

Big transfer market news/rumors has been launched by Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartoni. In an interview with TuttoJuve, he has revealed an interesting behind the scene regarding Marco Andreolli.

“I can confirm that Inter had started negotiations for Andreolli – they even sped it up. They asked for 10 days to close the deal. I feel that Andreolli will go to Inter, if Juve sign Ranocchia.”

Inter Have Decided To Keep Ranocchia

Ranocchia cannot be touched. The Inter defender will not leave Milan especially he will not go to Juve, the historic rival. Inter have decided that Ranocchia is an important investment for the present and also for the future. As reported by Sky, Andrea Ranocchia has been declared “not for sale” by Inter. The defender is really appreciated at Juventus and above all Antonio Conte but Inter have decided to focus on him this season. With Walter Samuel suffering a minor strain, the Italian defender could be fielded by Andrea Stramaccioni tomorrow in the friendly game against Celtic. So again, Inter are determined to keep Ranocchia this season.

Different situation for Marco Andreolli who will no longer be a transfer target if the Inter defense remains as is. The latest is Juve could turn their attention to the former Inter player especially of Bonucci receives a long-term suspension due to involvement in the betting scandal.

Luc Castaignos: "Goodbye Inter"

Saying farewell just after one season. Now it is done. Luc Castaignos has signed for Twente for six million euros. The young striker is once again in his home country Holland where he wants to lots of playing time with Twente as he had with Feyenoord. In an interview with FC Inter News, Luc explains the reasons of farewell and also confirms his move to Twente.

Is it true that your transfer to Twente is done?
“Yes, it is true. I am going from Inter for Twente for six million euros. Bonus? I do not know.”

Contract details?
“I have signed a four-year deal and I prefer the figure to remain private (laughs).”

If you had to explain your brief stay at Inter, what would you say?
“I went to Inter for them to see how Luc Castaignos is, to show that I can do on the field but I did not have many opportunities to do so.”

Many clubs wanted you, why did you choose Twente?
“I wanted to go to a team where I know that I will have chance to play and improve.”

Do you want to say something to the Inter fans?
“Yes, I hope that this season goes well for them because they do not deserve another season like in 2011-2012.”

Week Of Farewells: Pazzini, Julio Cesar And Deki?

Before spending the money, Inter must first collect. The first objective right now is to cut loose Julio Cesar and Giampaolo Pazzini whether through the method of selling or termination contract. Is an exchange with Quagliarella still on the horizon for Pazzini? We’ll see. For Julio Cesar, a contract termination is on the table. Thanks to this, the goalkeeper will be able to find another team in Europe or in Brazil.

But let’s not forget Dejan Stankovic. The Serbian is not being considered essential by the club and so the future is not 100% certain.

El Mundo Deportivo: “Mou Wants Sneijder Again”

The Portuguese coach of Real Madrid Jose Mourinho is considering a sensational return of Wesley Sneijder in the Spanish capital. According to El Mundo Deportivo, Mourinho sees Sneijder as an ideal alternative to Luka Modric of Tottentham for which negotiations are very difficult. Real could offer Nuri Sahin, a transfer target of Inter, as part of the deal.

A rumor that needs confirmation besides the fact that Wesley Sneijder is considered an extremely important piece for Andrea Stramaccioni to build his team around.

Inter Have Asked Cagliari For Mauricio Pinilla

“Inter are after Pinilla!” That was the headline on the front page of the Corriere dello Sport. Inter have been looking for a vice-Milito in quite some time and Mauricio Pinilla is the latest name on that list. However, according to the same newspaper, the response of Massimo Cellino, Cagiarli president, is high: 18 million euros. Negotiations, however, have started and Inter definitely want to lower this figure.

So after Hernandez, Gilardino, Bergessio and Denis, is Pinilla just a name or a real transfer target? Time will tell…

Possible Obstacles Could Hinder Maicon’s Transfer To Madrid

Maicon continue to dream of a transfer to Real Madrid. However, Marca, a Madrid newspaper, has reported a few problems that could hinder the Spanish could from purchasing the player. The first is related to his physical condition. Maicon has suffered a large hematoma in the tibia, a problem that will make him miss two games against Hajduk scheduled for the 2nd and 9th of August. Other obstacles are his age and salary. The Brazilian, however, would be ready to reduce his salary significantly in order to play for Madrid. Jose Mourinho continues wanting to have his right-back again and is waiting for the answer from Perez and management.

Lucas: “My Agent And Father Are Working On My Future”

A future yet to be written. Inter are working on it but due to fierce competition, alternatives are ready to take his place. Lucas does not exclude anything regarding this future. Here are his words from the Brazilian camp from the Olympics:

“We are talking a lot about my future but I do not know specifically what is happening in Brazil. My father and agent are working on my situation and evaluating everything. Now I want to play in this Olympics then I will decide and evaluate the situation.”

There were contacts between his agent, father and Inter management a few weeks back. But everything will be decided after the Olympics with Manchester United in pole position. The boy wants to leave and there are signs indicating so. All to be evaluated late August with alternatives ready…

OFFICIAL: Luc Castaignos Signs For FC Twente

FC Twente have officially announced the signing of Luc Castaignos on their website.

“FC Twente and Inter Milan have agreed on the transfer of Luc Castaignos to the Enschede club. The 19 year-old has signed a contract after completing the medical examination for four seasons at FC Twente.”

The cost of this transfer is about 6-7 million euros which will be re-invested in the transfer market for further reinforcements at Inter.

French Radio: Inter On Andre Ayew But Branca Denies

There is no Inter in the future of Andre Ayew. This was the assurance of Inter technical director Marco Branca who, according to RMC Sport, said that the rumors linked with the Ghanaian winger of Marseille are “without foundation.” That response was to the rumor that, from RMC Sport, the player’s representatives are talking with the Nerazzurri management even though there is no agreement yet.

It is possible that Inter are just laying the groundwork for the Ghanaian winger, one that knocked Ranieri’s team out of the Champions League last season. When the dream of Lucas fails, perhaps the name of Andre Ayew will reemerge.

Sky: Inter Still Believe In Lucas Thanks To… Mano Menezes

Inter are not giving up hope and still believe in the possibility of signing Lucas. According to Sky, Inter are smiling thanks to the Brazilian national team coach Mano Menezes who is not using the Sao Paulo talent (only 7 minutes against Belarus). With that, his price tag is not raising and Inter are waiting for the end of the Olympics in London in order to continue negotiating. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are preparing the money needed for this signing by selling its players (Luc Castaignos for example).

Competition is strong especially from Manchester United but Inter still believe.

Sky: Inter-Julio Cesar Meeting Soon

The situation of Julio Cesar with Inter remains in stand-by. Contract termination is the solution that both parties have agreed to implement but there has not been a meeting with the player’s agent yet. Sky journalist Luca Marchetti explains that “the situation remains on hold. There is nothing new because Julio Cesar is waiting for a meeting that has yet to be determined. The agents are in Milan and it is just a matter of when that this situation will come to an end.”

Pinilla: “Inter? I Don’t Know Anything”

It is nothing but just a rumor. Mauricio Pinilla, according to the Corriere dello Sport, was approached by Inter but the Chilean denies this rumor via his twitter account. “Friends, I really do not know anything about what was published in the newspaper today and neither do my agents. Anyway, thanks for the affection.”

So far, nothing concrete and the search for another central forward continues…

Alejandro Gomez: “I Want Top Club. Inter? One Of The Best”

Alejandro Gomez wants to leave Catania because il Papu wants to take the next leap in his career. In an interview with Tutto Mercato Web, he has confessed the desire to move on.

Gomez, is this the right moment to leave Catania?
“Yes. I want to grow and improve. Now is my moment, now is the time of moving on to a big team. At Catania, I did well and now I deserve a big and want the best solution for me and for my family. I am ready to make the big jump.”

Inter and Fiorentina are in your future?
“Being approached by Inter is a great pride. It is one of the best teams in the world. I like it very much but Fiorentina are also a great team. Montella and I have done some important things and it would be a nice opportunity.”

Do you have a team of your dreams?
“As a child, I liked Spanish football but I still want to play in Italy where I am very well. My wife is pregnant and my son will be born in October.”

Will he be born in Florence or Milan?
“Both cases would be great. In Florence there is Montella, a coach I am very attached to. Inter for a great club.”

At Inter, you would see your former teammate again in Silvestre. Wouldn’t it be nice?
“Matias is an experienced player and will do well at Inter. He is Argentinian just like me and so we always hear from each other. Playing together would be nice but I still know nothing. Much will depend on Catania. I hope to leave: to Fiorentina or Inter would be very nice.”

Lucas: “I Like The Interest From United”

Lucas, Lucas and we’re still talking about Lucas. Directly from London not too long ago, the talented Brazilian, again talks about his future and in particular Manchester United. During the game against Belarus at Old Trafford, many United fans were cheering for their transfer target.

“I am really happy for the interest shown by Manchester United. A great and important club with fantastic facilities. But those that shouted my names were Brazilian fans. I will evaluate and resolve everything later. Now I do not want to think about what my future will look like. We’ll decide after London. My agent and father are working on it.”

Agent: “Inter-Osvaldo? It’s True But It Depends On Roma”

Inter are after Paoblo Osvaldo? To the agent, there is something here. Dario Dacoud, agent, has admitted the interest from Inter for his client.

“Can Osvaldo leave? Yes, it is possible but I am not really sure. It depends and in football, everything is possible. Inter? Yes it is true, the player is also liked at Inter just like many other clubs. It depends on Roma, they are the one that will have to decide so I don’t know. Everything is possible in football.”

Agent: “Sneijder’s Future At Inter? You Never Know”

It seems like a total romance. With Andrea Stramaccioni, Wesley Sneijder is a happy man. Overseas people are talking about Real Madrid, all non-sense but yet, there are no certainties. This is how Soren Lerby is feeling and he has discussed that to Calciomercato.com.

“What the English newspapers wrote, to me, are just speculations. I have not had any contact with Real Madrid. The possibilities that Real have spoken directly to Inter? I have no idea and you should ask Inter. Will Sneijder stay in Milan? In football anything can happen,” is the mysterious comment by Lerby.

Andrea Ranocchia: “I Want To Stay Here. Mistakes? I’ve Learned From It”

Talking to Marco Barzaghi of Mediaset, Andrea Ranocchia discusses a little bit about what is going on at Inter as well as his future.

“Coming off from a difficult season which was, however, very important for my growing process and now I feel that I am ready to face the new season. That year was bad but I am glad to have overcome and learned from my mistakes.”

On his future: “The papers have written much about me but as I said before I have a contract until 2015 with Inter and I want to respect that. We are one of the best clubs in Europe and I cannot ask for more.”

The first game in the Europa League is just two days away and “it will not be easy on Thursday, playing certain teams away is tricky but we have great players that can handle that situation.”

Lucas Saga Continues: Branca To Brazil To Negotiate With Sao Paulo

Inter are not letting him go even for one centimeter. If there’s still hope, Massimo Moratti and company will continue trying. Despite strong competition from Manchester United and the latest interest from Manchester City, Lucas remains the very first transfer target at Inter, who has not stopped dreaming. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport in newsstand tomorrow, Marco Branca will fly to Brazil to start negotiation evidently with Sao Paulo because his agent Wagner Ribeiro and family are in England to watch Lucas with the Brazilian national team.

An important step forward by Inter, the club that wants to reopen talk with president Juvencio after talking with Lucas’ father and agent. After the Olympics, Inter will attack with the official offer. But now it is time to convince Sao Paulo.

Agreement With Sao Paulo For Lucas

A sensational breakthrough. As revealed by Sky, the technical director of Inter Marco Branca is not coming back to Italy tomorrow because there is an agreement with Sao Paulo for the talented Brazilian winger. Branca is negotiating with a vengeance and there is the agreement in principle. Further more, Lucas has guaranteed that he will choose Inter.

Here is the details of the deal. The Nerazzurri have presented an offer of about 27 million euros and could go as high as 30-32 million with bonuses. According to Sky, this agreement is linked to team as well as individual performance by Lucas.

So now, the ball is up to Massimo Moratti. The Inter president must decide whether to invest this money. So Branca is staying in Brazil to close the deal in the next few days if he has the OK from Moratti. This time, Inter have Lucas in their palm.

Sao Paulo VP: “Agreement With Inter? I Don’t Know About This Information”

The news of an agreement between Inter and Sao Paulo has traveled to Brazil. Sky has reported of an agreement of 27 million euros plus bonuses that could make the final figure go up to 32 million euros. But of course, Sao Paulo have denied this agreement through their vice president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes.

“An agreement with Inter for 30 million? I am not aware of this information. I was with president Juvenal yesterday (Wednesday) and today (Thursday). We sat down to only negotiate with Manchester United but their offer was not satisfied.”

Lucas’ Representatives: “We Don’t Know About This Agreement”

A few hours ago, Sky reported that Inter, practically, have an agreement with Sao Paulo and also the player and what missing is the only yes from president Massimo Moratti. To explore the current situation, FC Inter News have tried to contact the player’s agent Wagner Ribeiro in these hours. However, he is unreachable because he is now in London. For this reason, FC Inter News have talked exclusively to Junior Pedroso, the right hand man of Ribeiro. Here are some of his statements regarding the situation:

“I cannot tell if Sao Paulo have accepted the offer from Inter because we have no information regarding this offer. At our agency, there is nothing. Wagner Ribeiro is in London following the Olympics together with Lucas’ father.”

Denials have come but the one thing for sure is that Marco Branca is still in Brazil trying to get this thing resolved.

Critical Moment For Lucas: Now Or Never

Now or perhaps, never. For Lucas, Inter are facing an major dilemma. As reported by Sky, these are the critical moments because there is a brawl between all these clubs for Lucas Moura. Everyone wants the 19 year-old Brazilian winger. Inter have in hands the advantage thanks to the work of Marco Branca but now it is the moment to strike. Otherwise, everything could dissipate. The choice is in the hands of Inter president Massimo Moratti who has to decide whether or not to close the deal.

The opponents for Inter are Manchester United and City, Real Madrid and even Paris Saint Germain. Until there are signatures on the contract, these club will continue trying. “Now Inter cannot take time and think about it too much, otherwise, the risk is falling behind despite all the work and efforts that have been put in in these last months,” said Sky.

Sao Paulo Adviser: “Inter On Lucas? 35 Million And…”

“There is still no agreement between us and Inter for the sale of Lucas.” That was Marco Aurelio Cunha, Sao Paulo adviser, in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web.

“We do not want to sell but to keep him here until the World Cup. I believe even Neymar wants to stay here in Brazil until 2014. But anything is possible… if the player wants to leave and there is a big offer then we would talk about it. How much? We said no to Manchester United who offered 30 million euros. How much is enough for Lucas? I would say 35 million. And maybe some bonuses for future sales and… a friendly match.”

Journalist: “Inter Reasonable Optimism For Lucas”

Carlo Laudisa, Gazzetta dello Sport transfer market expert, discusses the trip of Marco Branca to Brazil to negotiate for Lucas.

“Branca’s mission has resulted an offer of 25 million euros plus bonuses. There is Manchester United but the player prefers the colors of black and blue. I would say that at Inter, there is reasonable optimism. Branca, meanwhile, have spoken to Julio Cesar’s agent to terminate contract.”

Sao Paulo Sporting Director: “25 Million From Inter? We Rejected 32 Million From United”

Speaking to Calcio Mercato a few minutes ago was Adalberto Baptisa, Sao Paulo sporting director about negotiations for Lucas.

“25 million for Lucas? It is not enough seeing how we have already rejected an official offer of 32 million euros for our player (from United). Will 35 million be enough? It is inappropriate to talk about precise figures. I can only say that at the moment we have not received written offer from Inter. Manchester City? I am not aware of this and we have not had any contact with them.”

Marco Branca Coming Back To Italy, Will Talk To Moratti About Lucas

Mission in Brazil is over. According to Sky, Marco Branca is coming back to Italy after the negotiation sessions with Sao Paulo for Lucas. Now, he will speak personally with Inter president Massimo Moratti in order to understand if the club wants to push for the Brazilian or not. It seems that Lucas has chosen Inter and now it is up to the us to decide what to do. The moment of choice is here.

Jose Mourinho Given Green Light On Nuri Sahin: “He’s Not Happy”

Nuri Sahin has long been a transfer target of Inter. The Turkish midfielder is not getting regular at Real Madrid and is dying to get some playing time. However, it seems that the future of Nuri Sahin at Real is coming to a close and he is not having the best of time at the Spanish club. Here is Jose Mourinho discussing the situation.

“Playing at Real Madrid is always hard because we have many champions here. Should he stay with us, that would be fine and he would help us win. If he stays, it is perfect for me. He wants to play in order to be happy and it is hard for him at Real Madrid where there are so many midfielders. Whatever his choice is, I want him to be happy.”

The interest from Inter seems to have died down a lot in recent weeks. Who knows if it will pick up again in the future…

Sky: “16 Million Needed For Pablo Osvaldo”

In an interview with Il Sussidiario, Paolo Assogna, Sky journalist, explains the situation of Pablo Osvaldo who could the the vice-Milito that Inter have been looking for.

“I’ll say this, Roma do not consider Osvaldo as ‘unsellable’ but that does not mean that the Giallorossi would be in a hurry and sell the striker. I would say that if an offer of about 16 million comes, then Roma would seriously consider it but at the moment, there is no offer.”

Price too high for what Inter intend to spend considering that the starting player in that position for Stramaccioni is Diego Milito.

Sky Insists: Agreement In Principle With Sao Paolo, Lucas Wants To Wear Inter Shirt

Marco Branca is back from Brazil and this has been confirmed by media sources out there. The Inter technical director ended his mission in Brazil and now the decisive attack for the Brazilian belongs entirely to Massimo Moratti. The agreement in principle with San Paolo is reached and now the ball goes to the Inter president. He must decide whether to invest that money.

But that’s not all. Lucas Moura is actively pushing to wear the Inter shirt. Here is Gianluca Di Marzio on the latest developments:

“The mission is over. What needed to be done was done. Marco Branca is coming back and tomorrow the Inter director will be in Italy. In Brazil, the agreement in principle with Sao Paulo is reached for Lucas. Now the chances to close are really concrete and the decision will come in the next few days. A lot of pushing is coming from Lucas himself who has said yes to Inter for quite some time. So in short, the ball goes to Massimo Moratti…”

PSG Interested In Maicon

The future of Maicon is yet to be defined. As reported by Sky, Paris Saint Germain are back in the picture for the Brazilian fullback. The situation is getting hotter and hotter and according to Luca Marchetti of Sky, “PSG are waiting to see if there is truly an opportunity.” The French club is looking for a right back on the transfer market and Maicon fits their characteristics.

Estadao Confirms: “Lucas Wants Inter”

Lucas wants Inter. Strongly and immediately. The certainty of Sky Sport has been confirmed just a few minutes ago even in Brazil. The well known media outlet Estadao, not only supports the news from Sky but also reveals all the details on the deal. According to Estadao, Marco Branca met directly with president Juvenal and Juvencio.

“Between the two there is a cordial relationship and both met Friday. The proposal of Inter was 25 million with bonuses and a percent of future sale. Sao Paulo said no to these conditions. Juvenal does not want a percent on future sale and told Branca that he expects at least 32 million euros for Lucas.”

In short, the difference between Inter’s offer and Sao Paulo’s demand is a matter of a few million.

New details explained by Estadao regarding the competition.

“Manchester United, after that offer, have not come forward with Sao Paulo. But Juvenal knows very well that they can re-enter into the race until now and the end of the transfer market. Other clubs like Real Madrid and PSG have expressed interest but neither club has made concrete steps.”

Lastly on the will of Lucas.

“Sao Paulo are studying a plan to increase the salary to keep him but Lucas strongly wants to go to a European club immediately.”

That Europe club is Inter, one that Lucas has given his OK to. Now the last effort is needed from Massimo Moratti. It all depends on the president.

Fernando: “Inter? No, Only Think About Porto”

Fernando for Inter? A dream and not a reality. For some time, the news is that Porto do not want to sell its midfielder with the “Guarin formula.” Very simple to understand, because if the Colombian was being left out, Fernando is deemed “untouchable” by his coach Pereira. And here is Fernando discussing his future today:

“I don’t believe so, my head is at Porto. In fact, I tell you that this year I really want to give everything. We have to fight and with coach Pereira, we are doing a very good job preparing.”

Zeman: “Osvaldo? A Starter For Me”

Zdenek Zeman says no. The Roma coach responded to those that asked him about the rumors of Pablo Osvaldo as a possible vice-Milito for Inter: “For me, Osvaldo is a starter today. He is an important player and I always focus on important players.”

So it seems that Zeman intends to keep Osvaldo despite the arrival of Mattia Destro. That with the fact of a high asking price (if Roma decide to sell), it seems that Osvaldo is going nowhere at least at the moment.

French Media Confirms: “PSG on Maicon”

The report started yesterday by Sky has now been confirmed in France: Paris Saint Germain are now back in the race for Inter fullback Maicon. The French club is in the market for a reinforcement for its defense and in particular for the right wing. PSG will have to challenge Chelsea and Real Madrid for the Brazilian’s signature.

Journalist: “Julio Cesar Will Go To Roma"

Mario Sconcerti expresses some certainty about the fate of Julio Cesar. The editor of Corriere della Sera is convinced that the Brazilian goalkeeper will go to Roma and take the place of Dutchman Maarten Stekelenburg.

“Julio Cesar and Stekelenburg? The Dutch is a great keeper and I would not have minded if the exchange does not go through (meaning JC replaces Stekelenburg, not Stekelenburg going to Inter) but the other one is better suited to the football ideas of Zeman. I believe that this deal will be done. I also think that Olsvaldo will be sold. Roma have spent a lot and it is understandable if Roma sell him.”

De Jong Still A Possibility

The name of Nigel De Jong is not going anywhere. The Dutch midfielder is still an option that Inter are looking at. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, he and Fernando remain transfer targets for the Inter midfield. The way to get the Dutch may be linked to the issue of contract which is expiring in 2013 and if he does not renew, it will benefit Inter. The Nerazzurri remain vigilant on this front and could go back to it after the Lucas saga ends.

PSG Serious On Lucas, Ready Special Formula

The race continues to go on for Lucas but Inter must really hurry. As explained by Sky in the most recent update, Paris Saint Germain are serious about entering the race for the talented player of Sao Paulo. The French are ready to do it with a special formula which so far no club has proposed it. If PSG are able to sign Lucas, they would be willing to leave the player at Sao Paulo until December. The Brazilian media has confirmed the interest from PSG although the offer has not arrived.

Inter, however, remain in the pole position according to Sky. They can thank the work of Marco Branca in the last few days for that but these signals coming from Paris are pushing Inter to hurry up and close the deal. Again, it is up to Moratti and these are the decisive days…

Sky: “Want Lucas? Inter Must Hurry”

Here is the latest development on the Lucas saga according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky transfer expert.

“It is time to choose. Inter continue working towards Lucas. Now, Inter president Massimo Moratti must decide on the last effort to settle and close the deal with Sao Paulo. Meanwhile, coming from Paris are signals and that Paris Saint Germain want to compete for the player and could try with an offer then leave Lucas in Brazil until next December. A proposal has not yet formulated but it is what PSG are thinking about. Further signs that will push Inter to hurry up. The player wants Inter and Inter have done a great job to keep the price low. But of course, PSG can afford to spend and they have demonstrated that this summer. If Inter want Lucas, they cannot waver too much.”

New Low Cost Option For Defense

Not only Marco Andreolli. Inter are looking at the market for defenders, a need given the situation of Ranocchia. According to Radio Calciomercato, there is the Mateo Musacchio hypothesis. The Villareal defender is available and with the demotion of Villareal last season, he should be cheap. The formula could be loan with right to purchase. However, at this time, Inter are not thinking to strike.

Sky: Inter Made Inquiry For Modibo Diakite

A reinforcement for the defense can arrive. With the uncertainty surrounding Andrea Ranocchia, Inter are actively trying to look for a defender. According to Sky, the latest name is Lazio defender Modibo Diakite. Inter have made an inquiry on the player whose contract is running out at Lazio in 2013. Juventus are also interested but one thing for sure, Inter are looking for a defender.

Meeting Branca-Moratti Early Next Week

We are all waiting on the decision of Massimo Moratti regarding Lucas. A decision that could come as early as Monday according to Manuele Baiocchini, Sky journalist.

“The meeting between Moratti and Branca could happen next week, either Monday or Tuesday. The ball is at the feet of Moratti who now must decide. The president must make a decision soon since Manchester United and PSG are there and both of these clubs can offer figures that out of Inter’s budget. Yes, Inter’s offer is lower but because of the excellent relationship between the parties and the desire of Lucas to play in Italy, the Nerazzurri have the advantage.”

Agent: “Medical Exam With United? All Lies”

“After the Olympics, Lucas will return to Sao Paulo.” Those are the words of Wagner Ribeiro, agent of Lucas, the very first target of Inter and also Manchester United. “I am always in touch with Lucas. Once the Olympics is over, he will travel to Sweden with the Brazilian team and then return to Sao Paulo. The medical visit with Manchester United? There is nothing, all lies.”

According to the British media early today, agreement was found between Sao Paulo and United for the player who will have a medical today in Manchester. As it turns out, all made up, all invented.

Brazilian Football Federation: No Medical With United For Lucas

Here comes the official denial to the rumors that Lucas is just a step away from signing for Manchester United. According to the Daily Mail early today, the Sao Paulo player will have a medical today in Manchester which, effectively, makes him a player of the Red Devils.

To deny this rumor is the CBF (Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol), or the Brazilian Football Federation, which states that Lucas cannot be released to perform any type of medical examinations and that they have not received request for this purpose from the English club.

Sky: “Medical With United? No Confirmation”

On his website, Gianluca Di Marzio discusses the latest rumor surrounding Lucas.

“The Daily Mail on Sunday has shocked England in the night. They virtually announced of an agreement between Manchester United and Sao Paulo at 30 million pounds for Lucas. Furthermore, the medical exam is already today in Manchester taking advantage that the player is already in England for the Olympics. The news coming now are just denial as the Brazilian Federation ensures that Lucas will not leave his national team training camp and in Brazil, they know nothing of this ‘medical visit.’ Inter are thinking but must close in a hurry. Even Paris Saint Germain are evaluating the idea of an offer. Moratti will decide but he cannot waste more time.”

Lucas’ Agent: “No Agreement With United, I’m Not Even Negotiating With Them”

In England, it is all done: “Lucas is a player of Manchester United, agreement has been reached.” But once again Wagner Ribeiro, agent, had denied and clarified the situation straight from Paris, that is where he is at currently.

“You can safely write that those statements do not exist. When there is something truth to it, I will talk without problems. But I can assure you that there is no agreement for Lucas with Manchester United.”

Ribeiro at the moment is in Paris where he watched the game between Barcelona and PSG yesterday.

“I posted a picture on a social network showing that I am no longer in London. PSG and Lucas? No, I wanted to see the new PSG with many new acquisitions. Then Paris is Paris…”

The agent will be back in England at Old Trafford to watch the semifinal between the Selecao and South Korea.

“I repeat for the umpteenth time that I will not speak of the things written in the newspaper (the Daily Mail for example), things that are not a reality. Am I negotiating with Unite? I am absolutely NOT negotiating with them.”

Sao Paulo VP: “No Ongoing Negotiations But Lucas Will Leave For The Right Offer”

After the news from the Daily Mail and other English media outlets, all proven to be unfounded, here are the words from Jesus Lopes, the vice president of Sao Paulo.

“After the Olympics, Lucas will surely come back here. There are no ongoing negotiations because, as I said, it is difficult for him to leave this transfer window. We have not shown any interest in selling the player just because the right offer has not arrived. We are not stupid, we know that certain figures are irresistible. So far, the right one has not come.”

Globo Esporte: Lucas To PSG Done Deal, Will Five-Year Contract

The English tabloid 24 hours ago announced that Lucas is a player of Manchester United. Now, the breaking news is coming from Brazil. According to Globo Esporte, one of the more important and biggest media sources in Brazil, the talent of Sao Paulo is practically a PSG player. Yes, PSG. We have been talking about PSG for the last few days and apparently they are ready to formalize an offer.

“Only missing the signature,” is the headline on the website. “Not to United, not to Inter. The fate of Lucas will be at PSG, in France. The deal was brought forward by Leonardo, former Sao Paulo player, who knows Lucas’ agent Wagner Ribeiro perfectly as well as the club president. PSG have beaten the competition and have practically defined the arrival of the 19 year-old. What missing are only a medical exam and the signature on the contract.”

Here are the details.

“Lucas’ agent was in Paris this week. He spoke with PSG management and watch the game against Barca. Everything was taken care of then. Ribeiro will soon be in Manchester but he cannot meet with Lucas because it is prohibited by the CBF. Lucas will sign for five seasons but will only come in January because he does not have a European passport. PSG have already used up all the spots available for non-EU players and will only sign him in the winter.

“Nasser Al-Khelaifi adores Lucas and that’s why he was able to reach an agreement with Sao Paulo. After the friendly on August 15 against Switzerland, Lucas will have a medical and sign with PSG. Ferguson has done everything to convince Lucas to say no to PSG and say yes to his team but everything was useless. Lucas and his agent have chosen Paris.”

The verdict of Globo Esporte is strong, serious, and decisive. Inter were already at risk of wasting too much time on this player and perhaps, now it is all too late. Lucas is always fading away from the Nerazzurri.

Inter Like Jeremy Menez But PSG…

The latest name that has been circulating in the last few hours is Jeremy Menez, former Roma player. Inter like the French player but according to Sky, Paris Saint Germain consider the player “unsellable” despite the overcrowding of players in that role. Acquiring a playmaker might cost too much (20 for Ramirez, 18 for Schurrle), and so the Nerazzurri could decide to change the reference formation and try to get some central midfielders like Fernando. Picking the option to sign Andrea Poli would have been useful but that is over.

Bayer Leverkusen Director: “Schurrle Not Leaving”

Hands off André Schurrle. That is the message from Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voeller whose intention is to keep the jewel of German football. In the last few hours, Schurrle was identified as an alternative for Inter after the failed attack on Lucas. Bayer Leverkusen have recently rejected 50 million for Andre Schurrle and Lars Bender from Chelsea. Here is the German club’s sporting director:

“From day one, I have always said that there are no alternatives. If we decide to sell, we would never find replacements at high level and we want to achieve our team objectives with our jewels. Both Andre Schurrle and Lars Bender have accepted the decision with great professionalism.”

“Marco Branca Always Comes Back Empty-Handed”

Calciomercato.com analyzes the continual trips to Brazil by Branca which, unfortunately, he always comes back with nothing.

“If these two trips are proof, perhaps Marco Branca would be best to not book any more trips by airplane. From Villas Boas to Lucas, also Carlos Tevez, when the Inter technical director took flight from Milan, he always came back empty-handed.”

The site then adds:

“It is certainly not his fault. For example, the demand to acquire the Sao Paulo player threw Branca away. Moratti stalled negotiations and PSG emerged from nowhere with the usual truckload of millions of euros. Result: goodbye Lucas. But if there is no money then you cannot ask for miracles. Sure, the technical director has some responsibility. He apparently, does not have the great appreciation from the players. He is not loved by the fans especially after the farewell of Oriali.”

Concludes with a suggestion.

“In this technological age in emails, phones, social networks, we would give Branca a suggestion: no more flights, they bring bad luck.”

New Transfer Market Meeting

Another meeting with the intention of planning the next moves on the transfer market. It is currently taking place in Corso Vittorio Emanuele between technical director Marco Branca, sporting director Piero Ausilio and Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni. The Nerazzurri tried everything to get their number one transfer target but now the Milan club must think about a plan B.

Inter will evaluate all different ideas. Ramirez costs too much, so does Schurrle one that Bayer Leverkusen have no intention of giving up. Then we have Fernando for the midfield and Kolarov as an option for the defense. Towards plan B…

Meeting Between Inter And Ntcham’s Agent

Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed a meeting between Inter and agent Fabrizio Ferrari:

“Cissokho and Ntcham. Yesterday agent Fabrizio Ferrari met with Inter. Both parties talked especially about Jules Ntcham, 16 year-old midfielder of Le Havre. Inter have the yes and the preference from the player and his agent, Ferrarri, has also warned the Nerazzurri about Manchester City. The interest coming from Roberto Mancini is strong and City have a lot of money to offer. Ntcham’s arrival is difficult and it is a complex negotiation. Fabrizio Ferrari is also the agent of Aly Cissokho and Inter could have spoken of him. But the priority is Ntcham who is becoming more difficult.”

Inter Have 35 Million To Spend And The New Name In Nene

You cannot change the past and Lucas is definitely the past. Inter want to look forward planning on new targets. There was a transfer meeting market earlier today with Branca, Ausilio and Stramaccioni. The new name is Nene of PSG. The player was offered to Inter and now the Italian club will evaluate this option. Inter also look for further reinforcements in the midfield (also in the attack) and there are many names on that transfer list. Fernando is not convincing. De Jong is too expensive. The dream remains Paulinho but now it is difficult after the contract extension.

Nene is the new option for the attack. Ramirez remains a hypothesis but again, costs too much. Thanks to the arrival of Lucas to PSG, Inter will have about 30-35 million to spend and this money can be used for other objectives.

Inter To Play Longo And Juan Jesus Cards To Get Gaston Ramirez?

Gaston Ramirez could very well be the number one target of Inter for the attack. The Bologna trequartista is liked by the Nerazzurri but he costs too much: about 20 million euros. Inter, however, can take advantage of two cards that they already have in the deck: Longo and Juan Jesus. Bologna like both players and Inter could sweeten the pot by offering these two players on loan to start negotiation for Ramirez. Both parties have a good relationship after the transfer of Gaby Mudingayi.

Julio Cesar To Tottenham, Agent Already In London

The future of Julio Cesar has found a solution and it is in England. Tottenham in fact have decided to zoom in on the player who will leave Inter after many years of success. Negotiation to bring him to London is already under way and Claudio Vigorelli, agent and one that will be handling negotiation, is already in London. Contacts have been made and the hope is to close as soon as possible, for the good of all.

From Russia: “Inter Strongly Want Dzagoev”

Big news coming from Russia and it relates to the transfer market of Inter. This is still a rumor pending confirmation. “Inter are strongly on Alan Dzagoev.” The Nerazzurri, according to Life Sports, are ready to jump on the CSKA midfielder, one that Inter have looked at right after the Euro.

“Alan wants to play in a big European league. Inter are interested immediately after the end of the Euro but CSKA have made it clear that they want 25 million euros for the player,” said a source used by Life Sports.

The same website also reveals exclusive statement by Inter technical director Marco Branca. “We are interested in Russian players. Our observes are very active and following your market with great interest. Dzagoev? It is still too soon to stay anything specific but everything is possible,” said Branca according to the Russian media.

We’ll see if this rumor is confirmed in the next few days or this is just the usual transfer rumor. One thing for sure is that Inter cannot offer Dzagoev 4.5 million per year for four years just like the article said. Absolutely no way.

INTER, TOWARDS PLAN B
PAULINHO AND RAMIREZ BUT IF THERE’S DISCOUNT

Lucas is lost and hope in the Uruguay and there is the card of Longo.
The Brazilian is expensive but ideal for Strama.

Milan – Another meeting at Inter headquarters. Lucas now belongs to PSG despite the words of Sao Paulo vice president Jesus Lopes (“we have not closed”) and so the management of Inter met to decide how to fill the gaps in the team of Andrea Stramaccioni.

Sales variables The coach, however, was not at Inter headquarters yesterday. He spoke with Massimo Moratti on the sidelines in the early morning training session at the San Siro and a few more times over the phone. One important presence here is “minister of finance” Rinaldo Ghelfi. It was him who estimated how much Inter have for two more key signings: a midfielder and an attacker. At the moment, there is about 30 million at the disposal of Branca and Ausilio but with a few more sales, then that coffer would grow. The Pazzini puzzle will have a solution in the last minute but if no one offers 8 million for Maicon then the Brazilian will stay. Things are in movement on the front of Julio Cesar who was spotted after lunch in headquarters with his agent Cardoso. Tottenham are a concrete track if there is no team interested then the goalkeeper would not terminate contract.

Attack But let’s go back to incoming transfers. For Strama, the only true alternative to Lucas is Arjen Robben but with the recent renewal with Bayern Munich, it signifies that the player is fine in Bavaria. Besides, his salary of 6 million is incompatible with the financial status of Inter. Since the offer of Nene does not convince and that for Schurrle, Bayer Leverkusen have already said no to 21 million from Chelsea, the hottest name remains Gaston Ramirez. Bologna are asking 22 million and Inter will take time and rely on the will of the 21 year-old and on the possibility of getting a discount. Especially if Inter enter into negotiations Samuele Longo on loan.

Node in midfield Stramaccioni has also asked for a top central midfielder one that can also play wide. The dream is Paulinho but Corinthians will play for the Club World Cup in December and the price tag is at 15 million. Alternatives? M’Vila costs too much and so does De Jong whose agent is expected to be in Milan in the next few days. Then there is Fernando. Before, Inter wanted to take the Brazilian of Porto on loan but now there may be the possibility for an outright purchase.
