Live updates of Sneijder to Galatasaray negotiations in CET time.

BBFhzjDCEAAAgSt.jpg

22:51 – The first words from the newest Galatasaray player, Wesley Sneijder, have arrived. In an interview with a Turkish TV, the Dutch expresses his joy.

“I am literally dreaming. I am good and will have to study Turkish. I am very excited coming to Turkey and I will give my best. I know that they have been waiting for me a long time and I also know that Turkish fans are fantastic. I cannot wait to play, get to Istanbul to meet the fans. I am very excited. Fatih Terim has always done a fantastic job everywhere and of course with the Turkish national team. I cannot wait to meet him.

“My message? I am very proud that Galatasaray have signed me. Really, I cannot wait to meet the fans. We will be together for many great years. I will arrive in Istanbul tomorrow. My new teammates? I know who they are because I have faced them in a different club or a different national team. We have a strong and deep team. I’ll see everyone soon.”

22:29 - Latest update from Gianluca Di Marzio. "Wesley Sneijder has gone to Galatasaray. After a recent meeting, here are all the details: Sneijder will sign a contract of three year with the Turkish club at 5 million per season plus bonuses. In addition, the Dutch will make an immediately gain (financially) at the moment of the signature and high bonuses tited to appearances and goals. To Inter is 7.5 million plus bonuses. Tomorrow, Galatasaray will formalize everything."

22:19 - Wesley Sneijder has said yes to Galatasaray. Here are all the details revealed by the Gazzetta dello Sport: "The Dutch player has signed in the evening and the announcement is on the Turkish club's website: contract is for two and a half years at the figure of 5 million per season. To Inter's coffer is 7.5 million for the entire card of the player."

Likely that with bonuses, the final figure of this transaction will be increased.

21:55 - Unal Aysal, Galatasaray president, announces: "Wesley will be in Istanbul tomorrow. The agreement is official. Wesley said that he is excited and will come here tomorrow with all of his family. Terim is absolutely thrilled. Sneijder has told us that he will give his best and perhaps finish his career here."

21:41 – The latest meeting to bring Sneijder to Galatasaray has ended. As reported by Matteo Barzaghi to Sky, Sneijder was with agent Soren Lerby who has this to Sky Sport reporters waiting outside: “We are making good progress. Signature? It is expected to be there in the next few hours, maybe tomorrow.”

Screen-Shot-2013-01-20-at-12.50.21-PM.png

21:35 – OFFICIAL: WESLEY SNEIJDER TO GALATASARAY. The Turkish club has officially announced that there is an agreement with Wesley Sneijder. Everything is defined, explained by Galatasaray which have also confirmed that signature is coming in the next few hours.

20:28 – Ivan Cordoba confirms to Sky: “There are news regarding Snejider today but I cannot say more.”

20:16 – New update from Sky. “Wesley Sneijder and Galatasaray are still negotiating. We are here at the final details. There is also the player’s father in the meeting right now. Again, all parties are negotiating minor details. Galatasaray are waiting for his signature…”

19:45 – Sneijder has once again reached the Inter headquarters for another meeting.

19:14 – According to FC Inter News, the meeting between Sneijder and Galatasaray directors has finished. Wesley is now coming back to his home waiting for the definition of the agreement, the signature and then the announcement.

19:00 – Turkish media believes that Sneijder operation is done. The Dutch has already signed a three and a half years contract.

18:30 – New updates from Gianluca Di Marzio. “Last night both parties (Sneijder and Galatasaray) met and reached an agreement. For this reason, I beleive Sneijder will sign tonight or at the latest tomorrow. Inter will make about 10 million euros including bonuses. To Sneijder, his contract will be extended but his bonuses will not be as much as he is making at Inter but still it is going to be a lot of money.”

18:15 – The Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that Sneijder has said yes to Galatasaray. Signature will come in a few hours.

17:15 – The situation is evolving, solving itself: now Soren Lerby and Wesley Sneijder will meet with Turkish club’s leaders. Signature will then arrive in the next few hours.

17:04 – Here we are. Wesley Sneijder to Galatarasaray is coming to fruition. After days and days of waiting, we finally have our answer. As reported by Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the representatives of Sneijder including agent Soren Lerby have discussed with Inter about that golden handshake or at least defined the closure of this deal between Inter and Sneijder. Everything is almost closed and now Lerby is in contacts with Galatasaray for the final details of Sneijder’s contract.

At that point, if everything were to be defined by the evening, according to Sky, Sneijder’s signature will also come by that time. The meeting with Moratti has unblocked everything and now his salute to Inter is definite. “Sneijder is going to Galatasaray, the signature is expected in the evening. Everything is ready and the player is talking with Galatasaray.” said Di Marzio.

Furthermore, as of this moment, the player and agent are also talking with the Turkish management. It is finally over.

13:45 – “I met Sneijder. I wanted to have a chat with him, I thought we needed to. Have we made peace? I don’t think there was ever a war in the first place, and certainly not with me personally. Did we chat to see if we were all moving in the same direction? Which one? It’s a surprise… Is he close to a move to Galatasaray? Yes, I think so.” This is what president Massimo Moratti had to say to Sky Sport 24‘s Matteo Barzaghi when asked about this morning’s meeting with the Dutch midfielder.

Sneijder added the following: “I spoke a lot with president Moratti because we have a good relationship, we had a good talk, nothing more than that. He said that it’s looking like I’ll be off to Galatasaray but there’s still a slim chance I could stay? What the president said is exactly right. The Inter fans expect me to stay? Inter fans are the best around, I’ve won everything here and I’m happy here. Now I don’t know whether I’ll be saying, ‘I am happy here’ or ‘I was happy here’. One of two things could happen, we’ll see.”

WES-INTER, IT’S GOODBYE

The back and forth is over, another protagonist in Inter treble season is gone.
Sneijder has said yes to Galatasaray. Will sign a king like contract until 2016.
The Dutch: “I will see Terim and I am happy.” To Moratti is 7.5 million euros.

Screen-Shot-2013-01-20-at-8.14.21-PM.png

GALATASA… GONE

Sneijder says yes: 7.5 million to Inter and the soap opera has ended.
To the Dutch is a contract until 2016 at 5.5 million per season.

Sneijder and Galatasaray: now there is the yes. To Inter is 7.5 million plus bonuses and for him there is a contract until 2016 at 5.5 million (including bonuses) plus a magnificent house and many different benefits and perks for his wife Yolanthe and family. Starting from today, Wesley Sneijder is a player of Galatasaray after three and a half seasons at Inter. “I am literally dreaming, very excited,” says Wes to his new club’s official TV station. “The Turkish fans are fantastic. I cannot wait to arrive to meet Fatih Terim and play the derby against Besiktas. I am proud that Galatasaray have signed me and we will live together for many great years.” Some final details were solved yesterday and a few more will be defined today. For Galatasaray, Sneijder is the signing of a lifetime and there will probably be a major presentation for him in Istanbul.

Screen-Shot-2013-01-20-at-8.21.23-PM.png

New era – Only five players remaining from that treble winning club in 2010.

Goodbye brunch The decisive acceleration happened on Saturday night (with a meeting between Wes and Turkish directors) and then yesterday morning. A Sunday brunch with Moratti to say goodbye. A face-to-face salute to show that – despite the last few electric days – this meeting between Moratti and Sneijder was between professionals and ended the relationship with affection: thanks for everything, they won all and will see each other again, goodbye with no hard feelings. Already last Friday, Sneijder had already realized that he can no longer afford more time and there is no going back.

Reasons All of this is because of three reasons: because the team has already found the balance without Sneijder, because the signed documents between both clubs, and because removing his salary is the main goal of a future Inter. In addition, Sneijder finally understood that he had to make a decision between the deadline imposed by Inter and Gala.

Figures Sneijder to Galatasaray is the result of an almost 40-million euro operation with agent Vigorelli acting as a bridge between two clubs. Galatasaray will pay Inter 7.5 million euros plus bonuses but most importantly, the 30 million gross income to the player plus the 500 thousand euros for the wage in January (the Dutch already got paid for the first two weeks). The official presentation will be tomorrow (Tuesday) while this morning, Sneijder will depart for Istanbul on a private flight.

Direction and tweet The earliest signs of yesterday took place at noon where a tweet in Turkish posted by Yolanthe to her followers, one tweet opened all sort of speculation. At those moments, Sneijder and Moratti had a discussion in a famous hotel in the center of Milan. “Reconciliation? There was not even a war, certainly not with me. Did we chat to see if we were all moving in the same direction? Which one? It’s a surprise… Is he close to a move to Galatasaray? Yes, I think so.” Moments later, early in the afternoon, here are the words of Sneijder: “Inter fans are the best around. I have won everything here for the fans and for this club.” Not definitive words because there was an planned meeting in the evening between Sneijder (there was also his father), Lerby and Galatasaray representative Lutfi Arigoban. And now in Turkey, they are ready to meet someone who knows how to play football.

Jaime Valdes Remains Cheap Alternative For Inter Midfield

After signing Rocchi as vice-Milito, Andrea Stramaccioni has two sort of must-haves for his team: a right winger and a midfielder. If Paulinho arrives then obviously Strama would be satisfied and his need would be fulfilled. But the hypothesis of Jaime Valdes (exchange with Parma perhaps with Mariga included) is a cheap alternative considering his age. And since he is a cheap option, perhaps Moratti would be convinced to acquire another central midfielder for Stramaccioni.

Mission Paulinho, Inter To Sell Alvarez (Most Likely) Or Coutinho

After the departure of Wesley Sneijder, Inter will concentrate on making one more sale to raise enough cash so that they can fly to Brazil on the last week of January and close for Paulinho, for which a 15-million offer is no longer adequate. Inter management, working on many fronts such as Icardi, Quintero, Weiss and Obiang for June, prefers to sacrifice Ricardo Alvarez rather than Philippe Coutinho.

For the Argentinian, the following teams are interested: Porto, River Plate, Velez Sarsfield, and Atletico Madrid (Simeon likes Alvarez very much) but the problem is that all these teams only want the player on paid loan (small fee to have him on loan instead of free loan). Inter must monetize and would love to sell Alvarez for a figure of no less than eight million euros. Word is that the hottest contact right now is Atletico Madrid.

In terms of Coutinho, the Nerazzurri are very reluctant to consider the idea of letting the talented Brazilian go as they have turned down many requests from Spain and particularly in England from clubs like Southampton (10 million) and Liverpool (8 million).

Inter-Atalanta Meeting This Week For Schelotto. Alternatives: Jung And Cassani

The preferred option for the outside right winger is Ezequiel Schelotto. This week negotiations with Atalanta will speed up in view of closing the deal. The club in Bergamo wants five million plus the co-ownership of Marko Livaja. The distance between both clubs, especially regarding the value of the Croatian, is at least 2-3 million euros. However, the fact that Schelotto stayed in the stands yesterday in the match against Cagliari is more than indicative fact that good progress will be made between these clubs.

The first alternative is Sebastian Jung. To get him right away (has a two-million clause in June), Inter have offered three million plus bonuses but convincing Eintracht Frankfurt is very difficult. An easier option is Mattia Cassano. He is rarely used at Fiorentina and the player himself is pushing to go to the city of Milan. Not by chance that there have been contacts with Cassani’s agent.

Moratti: “Happy With Sneijder Deal”

MILAN - Massimo Moratti answered the questions of the many journalists outside his offices in Milan this morning.

Read what he had to say in full here on inter.it:

Am I right in saying the Sneijder deal ultimately went through thanks to your input?
“I’m part of the club so I have been known to intervene!”

Are you happy with the end result?
“Yes, without a doubt, Galatasaray did everything properly, their president, vice president, they’re very good people. I think the player is happy too, otherwise he wouldn’t have gone there.”

Why did it take Sneijder so long to make his mind up?
“If something needs to happen, all that matters is that it does.”

Is Paulinho a firm target for January?
“One step at a time. We’ve just done this, let’s now see what we need to do.”

Does this now allow you make moves in the transfer window?
“I don’t know, it depends if it’s worth it. Everything’s so expensive in Italy, so I don’t think anything will happen.”

Perhaps the focus is more on the future than returning to the Champions League…
“No, we can get back into the Champions League and I back my players, given the team we’ve got.”

What did you make of the team yesterday?
“Good, the team turned up. We can do a bit better with the three up top but I think they did well. I’m very happy with Livaja, really pleased indeed. Guarin once again showed what he’s about. The rest of the team played intelligently.”

Is the word Scudetto now taboo?
“I’ll let you guys say it and then we’ll see. Every game we just try to do what we think we’re capable of.”

How do you want to publicly bid farewell to Sneijder? He’s obviously a player who gave so much to Inter.
“That’s what I said to him, that it’s not purely sentiment, but also recognition and he’ll always remain one of the key figures in Inter history. We’re proud to have had him here and Galatasaray will be too.”

Is the price a problem with Paulinho or is it to do with how useful he’d be?
“A player like that, with his attributes, is always useful. But the cost does come into.”

Is the plan now to invest some of the money you saved on Sneijder straight back into the market or to be patient?
“We’ll take a measured approach.”

Gala President: “Moratti, True Gentleman”

At the end negotiations for the transfer of Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray, the Turkish club’s president praises his Inter colleague Massimo Moratti. To the club’s official TV channel, Unal Aysal describes Massimo Moratti as “a true gentleman.”

“He has earned my utmost, ever since that first contact and also throughout negotiations. It has been a pleasure doing business with Moratti and I look forward to working with him on a number of projects in the future.”

Then, a proclamation: “Now, our goal is clear: we want to become one of the top 10 clubs in Europe.”

After Sneijder, Here Are The Next Three Players Leaving Inter

Wesley Sneijder has packed his bags and left the city of Milan, this soap opera is finally over. However, in terms of selling, Inter are not done because there are three more players that could find themselves in a similar path as Sneijder did yesterday. The first one is Jonathan. Inter are waiting for the right outright proposal from any club, does not matter which but it has to be a definitive purchase, no loan. There are several clubs that have shown interest but it seems that Flamengo remain the most likely scenario.

The second player is Marko Livaja. His name has been mentioned lots of time in the press as a counterpart in negotiations with Atlanta for Ezequiel Schelotto. Siena and Eintracht are two options for the young Croatian striker. Lastly, in order to get a top midfielder like Paulinho, the idea is to sacrifice Ricardo Alvarez. Inter want to make at least 8 million by selling the Argentinian but so far no outright offers have been submitted, only loan requests.

Inter Want To Close For Bellomo But There’s Roma

According to Sky Sport 24, Inter remain ahead of its competition to sign Bari talent Nicola Bellomo. Much more news will come in the next few hours especially now that the Nerazzurri have the fund necessary from the departure of Sneijder. The intention is close negotiations soon because there is also Roma, the club that according to many newspaper is the favorite.

Sky: Coutinho Staying At Inter

Make no mistake about it, Philippe Coutinho and Ricardo Alvarez are the two players that attract the attention from many man clubs. For the Brazilian, more concrete offers have arrived from Liverpool and Aston Villa but there is a problem for these interested clubs: Inter do NOT want to sell. So that’s that.

For the Argentinian, as reported by Sky Sport 24, it was initially thought that loaning him out would get the player more appearances but a loan move does not seem to be an option now.

Atalanta Not Lowering Demand For Schelotto

Negotiations for Ezequiel Schelotto are getting complicated. The right winger, at the moment, costs too much and Atalanta do not seem willing to lower their demands. Even getting alternatives are difficult. The arrival of Sebastian June does not seem possible at the moment because his club does not want to sell. The third option is Mattia Cassani, an easiest option due to his low transfer cost and Fiorentina are willing to let the player go.

Agent: “Bellomo Not ‘Very Close’ To Roma”

Nicola Bellomo, Bari number 10 and perhaps its most talented player, is being sought after by many many Italian clubs. It seems that Roma and Inter are now in a head-to-head race for the Italian midfielder. Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Guido Angelozzi updates us with the latest news on this front but also denies Roma being very close to Bellomo.

“Is Bellomo very close to Roma? I would not say he is very close because negotiations cannot be considered over. There are the usual three teams that on Bellomo and negotiations are ongoing.”

English Media: Inter Want At Least 12 Million For Coutinho, Liverpool Intend To Raise

Liverpool will make an extra effort in getting Inter Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho. According to multiple reports from England, the Reds would raise the initial offer of 8 million pounds (9.5 million euros) which was rejected by Inter. The same sources are certain that Inter, for Coutinho, are asking at least 12 million euros. People from Anfield Road must start engaging in negotiations if they want to deliver the little Brazilian to Brendan Rodgers.

These reports are contrary to what Sky Italia and the Gazzetta dello Sport have been reporting for a few days now which is Inter are unwilling to sacrifice Coutinho.

Atletico Madrid Want Alvarez On Loan, Then Offer Six Million For Permanent Stay

According to Sport Mediaset, Atletico Madrid concretely want Ricardo Alvarez. From here, the Spanish club is interested in getting the player on loan and then in June, for full and permanent purchase, a six million offer is ready. This is the idea that coach Diego Simeone has at this time.

No further confirmation of this offer at the moment. In addition, Inter have no plan to loan out Ricardo Alvarez and only want to sell outright.

Inter Want To Know Corinthians’ Intention On Paulinho

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Branca was in Milan yesterday in order to take care the last aspects regarding Sneijder and Galatasaray and to inform Moratti and company the decisive blitz towards Paulinho. It is probable that in the coming days, Inter would like a response from Corinthians. The Nerazzurri want to understand what intention Corinthians have in regards so Paulinho. Do they want to sell? If yes at what cost? Things like that.

It is well documented that the Brazilian is the number one reinforcement wanted by Andrea Stramaccioni. Should Inter face obstacles and there will be, alternatives are Valdes and Lodi.

Philippe Coutinho: “I Hope To Stay At Inter Because I Am Happy Here”

In an interview with FC Inter News, Inter midfielder Philippe Coutinho rejects all the rumors surrounding him and the chances of going to the Premier League. “I am happy here and feel that the club is trusting me so I hope to stay here. The team yesterday played very well against an attacking Roma team. Sneijder? He is a great player and person. I wish him well now that he is going to play for other team. I am working hard to improve and to show my true value.”

Meanwhile according to Sky Sport 24 which is once again stating that Inter have no intention of selling Coutinho. For the Brazilian, there are concrete offers from English clubs such as Liverpool and Aston Villa but it is clear that Inter do not want to sell.

Sky Sports England: Liverpool In Talks With Inter, Deal To Be Concluded Shortly

Sky Sports understands that Liverpool are continuing talks with Inter Milan over Philippe Coutinho. The Reds are understood to have already had one bid rejected by Inter, which was in the region of £6.75million. Now the clubs are holding further discussions and the expectation is that a deal will be concluded shortly with Liverpool paying £8million. The 20-year-old, who was linked with a move to Aston Villa earlier in the window, now looks close to becoming Liverpool’s second signing this month. Coutinho, who joined Inter from Vasco da Gama in 2010, spent last season on loan at Espanyol before returning to the San Siro in the summer. He has featured five times for Inter so far this term.

OFFICIAL: Inter Acquire Full Ownership Of Marco Benassi

Inter have officially announced the full ownership of Marco Benassi a few moments ago. Here is the entire press release which can be seen on the club’s website.

“Today, the co-ownership of the 18 year-old midfielder Marco Benassi was resolved in favor of Inter. The Nerazzurri, thus, acquire from Modena Football Club the full ownership of the player and thank the Emilian club for their collaborations shown during negotiations.”

River Plate Vice President Confirms Inter’s Intention: “They Want To Sell Alvarez Outright, We’re Talking”

River Plate are one of the many teams that have set their eyes on Inter midfielder Ricardo Alvarez. In an interview with Fox Sport, the vice president of the Argentinian club confirms that “Inter do not want to let on of Alvarez on loan, they want to sell and have set a high price tag. We are talking, we will see what happens.” So Inter’s intention is clear: no loan for Alvarez because the Nerazzurri want to monetize Alvarez as soon as possible.

Coutinho: “Liverpool Want Me? I Like It But…”

After the interview with FC Inter News, Philippe Coutinho has also granted Sky Sport (Italy) another discussion in which he talks about the requests made by Liverpool.

“I am fine but something is still bothering me and so I will have to do more tests in order to understand when I can be back on the field. Liverpool? I like their interest because it means that they appreciate my work. I want to show my talent here on the field and only thinking about recovering from injury.”

On the departure of Sneijder, a departure that could give Coutinho more space when he is back from injury: “Of course I like to play, but I only think of doing well. I wish Sneijder good things too. Third spot? We believe. We have a very important match this week and we hope to win it.”

Gazzetta Asks: Who Is The Next 2010 Treble Hero To Leave?

Goran Pandev, Julio Cesar, Douglas Maicon, Lucio, Samuel Eto’o and now Welsey Sneider, what do they have in common? Well, they were the heroes of that treble winning Inter in 2010 that are playing elsewhere. Due to the club’s strong policy on reducing yearly wages (in 2010 it was approximately 120 million), they were, one by one, leaving Inter over the past two years.

But that’s not going to stop there as Inter are actively looking to cut more costs. The Gazzetta dello Sport has posted a question of who will be the next hero leave Inter? The paper and many others believe it will be Diego Milito as he has been heavily linked to a return to his former club Racing in Argentina. The player and Inter will sit down in the summer to discuss wage reduction and if no agreement is found, it is likely that Diego Milito will be offload this summer. We’ll see.

Schelotto: “Transfer Rumors? Ask Atalanta”

We had not heard much from Ezequiel Schelotto talking about the rumors that link him to Inter in this transfer window until now. The Argentinian-Italian winger of Atalanta did not say much and seemed irritated when asked about these rumors.

“I just bought a home in Como and it is beautiful. I searched for it with my father and I am happy because I love the lake. Is something going on in the transfer market? Ask Atalanta management.”

New Liverpool Offer Coming For Coutinho

Liverpool are insisting on Philippe Coutinho. According to a story from Metro.uk, The Reds are ready to raise their offer to up to 10 million. for now, the latest offer from Liverpool was 8 and that was rejected by Inter. The Nerazzurri, once again, do not want to sell Coutinho who is also liked at Aston Villa and Southampton.

Inter Given Up On Nicola Bellomo?

The Gazzetta dello Sport has announced that the deal to bring Nicola to Roma is basically done. According to the Milan based newspaper, Inter have given up on the Bari midfielder which seems to have said yes to Roma in a co-ownership deal. We will have to wait for further developments on this front but right now it is going to be a two-horse race between Inter and the Gialorossi for Nicola Bellomo.

Agent: “Quintero Will Leave Pescara. Inter? We’ll See”

“How long will Quintero stay at Pescara? I think very little because he is doing very well. Now the player is at U-20 South American championship and he is shining in his tournament, all big clubs in Europe are looking at him. He will certainly be sold but I do not know if it is now or in June. Pescara will decide. I do not want to talk about any particular club but I can confirm that many clubs want him. His value is about 10 million euros and so only big clubs can afford him.”

That was Quintero’s agent Riccardo Calleri to Tutto Mercato Web. Last comment was about Inter: “Inter? They watched him even before he went to Pescara. We’ll see…”

Official Offer For Bellomo Soon And There’s New Name For Inter Midfield

Sneijder is now gone and now reinforcements need to come. Inter are thinking about post-Sneijder and in the next few hours, an official offer will be made for Nicola Bellomo, the Bari talent on which there is also Roma.

Not only that, an emissary of the club was sent to follow Nicolas Castillo, the 1993-born player of Universidad who is shining at the U-20 South American championship. Inter are in the face with half of Europe including Juventus and Genoa.

For Schelotto, negotiations continue with Atalanta whose demands remain high plus half of Marko Livaja, another meeting is very soon. There is a new name for the midfield, Lucas Biglia of Anderlecht. The player has been offered to Inter and they will evaluate as well as Andujar of Catania, the latest idea for the goalkeeping situation. But just like Lodi, Catania president does not want to sell his jewels: it will be difficult.

Inter Formalize Offer For Paulinho: 15 Million To Corinthians, 2.5 Per Year For Player

Paulinho to Inter and it is going to happen now. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are speeding up negotiations and have made an official offer to Corinthians of 15 milion euros cash to sign Paulinho immediately. “There is an offer to Corinthians, and to the player is 2.5 million euros (per year),” report by GdS.

Now the Brazilian is closer but to conclude negotiations it will not be easy because the release clause is at 18 million. For a long time, Inter are convinced that they can sign Paulinho at this figure. Now we are getting into a very complex negotiation.

PAULINHO, INTER WAITING FOR THE YES

Green light from Moratti and an offer is ready.
15 million to Corinthians, to the Brazilian star 2.5 million for three years.

Rome – Optimism is born after selling. Wesley Sneijder is gone and Inter are only waiting on the yes of Paulinho. Negotiations will not be easy but in case the player wants to come to Italy now, Massimo Moratti would have everything ready to go. “A player like that is always useful but the cost does come into play,” said the Inter boss. A real opening for this deal to go through with great attention on spending of course: a blitz is ready and everything is already established. It is true that after the exit of Sneijder, Inter need another sale (Alvarez or Coutinho) but it is also true that the relationship with the Brazilian started a very long time ago. That relationship was born last July where Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio flew to Brazil trying to close the deal on the basis of 8 million euros. Today, the player costs 15 million euros and to him, Inter are ready to offer a three-year (at least) contract with raising salary starting at 2.5 million. The plan is there, it has already been designed: the true attack is within the hours. The player asked to remain until the Club World Cup (which he was victorious) and despite his president has said that no one is leaving until the next Libertadores, the idea of Paulinho is clear: he does not want to miss the Inter train.

Screen-Shot-2013-01-21-at-8.05.16-PM.png

Probable position for Paulinho in Inter lineup.

(Expensive) Thought of Nainggolan The reduction of costs (the six million plus bonus of Sneijder is the latest example) with Paulinho would be perfect. The player, in prospective, would allow Inter to keep his salary under three million from next season onwards. Paulinho is studying Italian and for this reason, Inter believe more and more. But what if Paulinho does not come? The alternatives have also been studied. Lodi is almost impossible because Catania president does not want to sell anyone. Valdes is a cheap option and since he is that, not everything is convinced. The true alternative perhaps is in Italy, one that resembles the Brazilian, he is Radja Nainggolan the Belgian midfielder for which Cagliari are asking a lot for. “In Italy, I see everyone is expensive and so I don’t think any anything will be done,” said Moratti.

Alvarez and Coutinho In short, we again return to the main target: Paulinho. Inter prefer to sell Alvarez for which, Atletico Madrid have asked for a loan with right to purchase at six million. Too little. At eight million, both parties can close. And at that point (adding the money from Sneijder), Inter can start dialing the phone and connect with Paulinho. But then there is Coutinho: voices in the last hours suggest an Cou-Paulinho exchange with Corinthians, these voices still need to be verified. For the Brazilian, there is Liverpool which could raise the offer to over 10 million. “But I want to stay, I feel the trust from this club,” said the Brazilian.

Schelotto, almost yes What about Schelotto? Atalanta value the player at eight million and have low consideration regarding Marko Livaja’s half (1.5 million) but Inter and Atalanta will sit down at a table once more this week. Schelotto, yesterday at the opening of Marco Materazzi’s store, said that “this is a delicate week and my future is in the hand of the club. I am not playing now and I hope that both clubs can agree quickly. I am very flattered by the interest.” Already feel like an Inter player.

Agent: “Agreement Bari-Roma For Nicolo? I Don’t Know Such Thing”

“Everything is done with Roma? I do not know about this.” Davide Lippi, agent of Nicola Bellomo, is denying all rumors of an agreement already made between Roma and Bari for the acquisition of Bellomo’s half.

“Neither Roma nor Bari has contacted me to say that there is a reached agreement for the Bari player. Roma are definitely an interested club and contacts continue but they still have not called to present an offer for the player. Contacts with Inter and Milan, or other clubs, will continue with Roma.”

Chievo Director: “Roma-Bari Negotiations Continue”

Bari and Roma are talking. The Giallorossi seem to be more active and the slight favorite right now over Inter for the signing of Nicola Bellomo. Assuring continual negotiations is the sporting director of Chievo, Bellomo is co-owned by Chievo and Bari, Giovanni Sartori to TeleRoma56.

“We have 50% of the card and our intention is to keep it. Bari can sell their half to Roma or to Inter but we will remain co-owners of the card. Are Roma in advantage? They are negotiating directly with Bari and they (Bari) are entitled to do so because they own half of Nicola.”

New Contract For Javier Zanetti

Mediaset Premium is reporting that a new contract for Javier Zanetti will be announced soon. In this contract for the Inter captain, there will be another year and Zanetti is ready and eager to sign once more with his beloved club. The site also touches on incoming transfers that Inter are working on and in particular Nicola Bellomo. Mediaset believes that Inter can close the deal soon at two million euros.

Agent: “No Offer From Italian Clubs For Nicolas Castillo”

In an interview recently with Calcio Mercato Web, Alejandro Santisteban, agent of Nicolas Castillo and Igor Lichnovsky, talked about the interest coming from Inter and other Italian clubs.

“The world is talking about these two players, they are being followed very closely. Both are good players but there are no offers, not even negotiations, with foreign clubs. Castillo thinks that he is perfect for Serie A, he has force and power, but again no Italian club has made an offer.”

Coppa Italia Match Versus Roma, The Last For Alvarez In Inter Shirt?

Is Ricardo Alvarez a step away from leaving the club? To the Gazzetta dello Sport, it seems so.

“Maybe this is the last game (for Alvarez) because the transfer rumors and also more concretely Atletico Madrid are pushing him away from Inter. But then again, who knows. Alvarez will remain a decisive weapon for Andrea Stramaccioni in the first leg of the Coppa Italia match on Wednesday. The Inter coach will place him in a trequartista position behind Marko Livaja.”

According to the same source, Mudingayi could play from the first minute (good luck charm: in 13 matches played, 12 victories and a tie at the Olympico last Sunday) and not Rocchi.

Agent: “Guarin Very Happy At Inter”

The result of playing fantastic football is you will get a lot of attention from many other clubs. This is the case for Fredy Guarin who is becoming one of the best players at Inter and thus, attracts much interest from abroad especially from England. Here is the player’s agent Ferreyra talking about his progress at Inter:

“Together at Inter, he wants to become the best in the world and Fredy has the potential to do so. He always had the dream of playing for this club and now he is living his dream. He is very happy,” agent.

Nagatomo: “Real Madrid? An Honor But…”

In recent weeks, voices of interest shown by Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid for Yuto Nagatomo have emerged. After hearing these rumors, the Japanese smiles and responds that “it is an honor. However, I will continue defend the colors of Inter and remain focused only on the Italian league.” Doors closed on the possible request from the Galacticos.

Agent: “If No Playing Time, Livaja Wants To Play Elsewhere”

Federico Pastorello, agent of Marko Livaja, discusses the situation about his client to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Negotiations between Atalanta and Inter are on their feet, but I hope he stays at Inter and finds the space that he deserves. On Sunday, he showed to be very effective as a central forward. If for technical choices he cannot find more space, he then would like to go play somewhere else. Inter? After the sale of Sneijder, the club has the ability to reinforcement midfield.”

Velez Director: “Alvarez Coming Back Would Be Great”

“Very difficult.” The words of Velez director Christian Bassadas on the possible return of Ricardo Alvarez. “If the president told me that there is a chance to retake Ricardo Alvarez then that would be great. But there is no possibility of this happening however.” The Argentinian midfielder is believed to be the next player that Inter need to sacrifice in order to get the finance needed for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. Alvarez has been linked to many clubs including his former club Velez Sarsfield.

Inter Looking At The Best Defender In South American Youth Tournament

Another young talented player for the defense. After Juan Jesus, Inter want to try for Valber Huerta. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, “Inter have put the best defender in the U-20 South American championship under their view. It is Valber Huerta, the 1993-born Universidad de Chile player. Playing together with Igor Lichnovsky, another player that is being followed by Inter. The Nerazzurri are trying to acquire Huerta but there is strong competition from Udinese. Universidad de Chile are asking for 2.5 million dollars but that figure is likely to raise as Huerto is putting on a show with the U-20 Chilean national team.”

Roma Director: “Bellomo Not Coming”

To many newspapers, website, journalists and reporters, Roma are the favorite to land Bari talent Nicola Bellomo. The Italian midfielder is co-owned by Bari and Chievo and Roma, reportedly, are in deep negotiations to take Bari’s half. However, Franco Baldini, Roma general director, has come out and put a stop on this front. “I do not think that Bellomo is coming here. Yes we are following him who is a very interesting player but this is not our time,” Baldini concluded.

Bluffing or telling the truth, time will tell.

Meeting Ended, Topics Of Discussion Include Paulinho And New Stadium

The meeting that started a while ago has finished and the transfer market was not the only topic of discussion. According to Sky, the result of the meeting between Moratti, Branca and Ghelfi is that getting Paulinho is going to be difficult. With high cost and little time, Inter will have to make sacrifices if they want to gift Andrea Stramaccioni the long time target in Paulinho.

But that’s not all because according to journalist Matteo Barzaghi, Moratti also touched on the question related to the new stadium. The Inter president wants the latest update on global economic situation and how Inter are doing economically as well.

Inter Spent One Million For Full Ownership Of Benassi

With recent positive of the 18 year-old Marco Benassi, Inter were able to immediately acquire the full ownership of Benassi who was co-owned with Modena previously. The official announcement happened yesterday and according to Sky, Inter will have to pay Modena about one million euros plus bonuses that link to Serie A appearances for the 1994-born Italian midfielder.

With Samuel Still Out Due To Injury, Inter To Look At Andreolli For Defense

With Walter Samuel still out of injury, Marco Andreolli could once again be under the watchful eyes of Inter management as a possible reinforcement for the defense. According to Sky Sport 24, the Chievo defender would be very useful because the 35 year-old Argentinian is not at his best. Other than Paulinho, Marco Andreolli is perhaps the most linked player to Inter ever since last summer.

Lucas Biglia: “Inter Want Me And I Want Inter.” The Release Clause…

Lucas Biglia is being looked at by Inter as an idea for the much-needed-help midfield. “It is all true, Inter have asked about me and there are ongoing negotiations,” the Anderlecht midfielder confirms exclusively to Tutto Mercato Web. “I want to leave Belgium, Inter are a dream and I have been in contact with Zanetti. I hope that this deal can go through and I am now waiting for news.”

The Argentinian midfielder of Anderlecht is seen to be an alternative solution to Paulinho who still remains the first objective of Inter management. The cost? According to sources, the player has a release clause of about eight million euros.

Parma Director: “No Request For Valdes, Not Interested In Exchanging For Mariga”

Parma are not interested in letting go of Jaime Valdes. According to Pietro Leonardo, director, Parma have not received offer from Inter for Valdes but regardless, it seems like the player is not going anywhere.

“Inter have not asked me to do this deal. Valdes for us is a focal point of our game as Donadoni has invented him as a midfielder director and so he is irreplaceable. Exchanging with Mariga? He plays in a different role. Mariga is an good player but we are not interested in an exchange.”

Southampton To Raise: 12 Million For Coutinho. Inter Giving In?

Despite his intention to stay at Inter to prove his worth, more and more offers are coming in for Philippe Coutinho. After the eight million from Liverpool, another higher offer has arrived and this time from Southampton. According to Sky Sport, the English club is raising its initial offer to 12 million for the Brazilian. Mauricio Pochettino, Southampton new coach, strongly wants to coach Coutinho again after the positive relationship between them at Espanyol. Can Inter really give in?

Agents Of Younès Belhanda Contacted Inter, Summer Operation At 12 Million. Paulinho…

Directly from Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio reveals the latest news on the transfer market of Inter starting with Paulinho.

“For Paulinho, 15 million offer seemed to be good enough months ago but it will not be enough now. The player’s price tag has skyrocketed. The latest idea, however, is Younès Belhanda of Montpellier, a player that Inter have followed for months. The players have re-established contact with Inter at this time and has a cost of 12 million. According to plans, however, Inter would like to postpone this operation until next summer.”

Done Deals: Alfred Duncan And Matteo Bianchetti To Livorno And Verona

Everything is done. Alfred Duncan and Matteo Bianchetti have left Inter camp in Rome to pack their bags for their new clubs. According to Sky, the midfielder will go on loan to Livorno while the Italian defender is going to Verona. Previously, Bianchetti was co-owned by Inter and Varese which have sold its half to Verona and so he is co-owned by Inter and Verona. Both players are in need of playing time and so they need to go gaining experience elsewhere.

Biglia: “Inter Have Offered Anderlecht Loan Deal For Me”

Lucas Biglia is calling for Italy or more specifically Inter. The Argentinian midfielder has a clause in his contract and can leave Anderlecht for an offer of eight million euros. “The Nerazzurri have made an offer and I want to leave Belgium,” said Biglia.

So just a few details missing?
“No, still no. Inter have made an offer to take me on loan with right to purchase. For now, Anderlecht are saying no but…”

But?
“I want Inter, it is my dream.”

And then there is Zanetti, a strong sponsor for you.
“With Javier, we have a good relationship and we have heard from each other.”

Have you talked about Inter recently?
“No, we have never talked about Inter but I would like to play with him.”

We have eight more days until the end of the transfer market, will we see you in Italy?
“Hopefully, I want to be there. We’ll see. I wish that I can play with Zanetti at Inter.”

Will Anderlecht let you go?
“I don’t know but again, Inter have made an offer of loan with right to purchase. I am waiting for more news, we’ll see. Playing in the black and blue colors of Inter would be a dream.”

Paulinho Worth At Least 20 Million, Belhanda Wants To Come Now But Inter Postpone Negotiations

From his editorial for TMW, Gianluca Di Marzio reveals the very latest news regarding Inter transfer market.

“After the sale of Sneijder, Andrea Stramaccioni is waiting for a wing player (Schelotto but the Brazilian Jonas has also been offered to the club) and a midfielder. Paulinho is not close to Inter as his price has risen to at least 20 million, a very difficult operation. Inter are looking at alternatives and that is why an Mariga-Valdes exchange was proposed to Parma. It would be a return for the former and a great opportunity for the latter. Parma coach Donadoni is not willing to let go of his player after having transformed him as the core player in this team, an experiment that has given Parma tangible results. Belhanda’s agents have re-established contacts with Inter after the departure of Sneijder, the player is pushing to come right away and has a transfer value of 12 million. Fenerbahce recently made an official offer of eight million but the Moroccan wanted to understand the situations in Italy before signing with Fenerbahce. Inter, however, prefer to postpone until next summer due to savings and tax reasons.”

Andrea Stramaccioni Wants To Sacrifice Coutinho For Paulinho, Inter Asking For 13 Million Euros

Indirect contacts with Paulinho’s representatives have been made but there is still no official offer to Corinthians. The Brazilian club wants about 18-20 million to close negotiations. That is why the sacrificing of Coutinho is possible. According to Alfredo Pedulla, Inter are looking to make 13 million from selling Coutinho. Negotiations are going on behind the scene with Liverpool but the English club is offering four-five million less than what Inter want. But do not underestimate Southampton because this is the club that seems to have offered the most money at 12 million according to Sky.

Andrea Stramaccioni was the one responsible for keeping Philippe Coutinho last summer when the Brazilian was heavily linked to a move to Udinese in negotiations for Mauricio Isla. But now, sacrificing Coutinho becomes necessary to bring a top midfielder to Inter and Paulinho is at the very top of Stramaccioni’s wish list. Alvarez is another candidate that could be sold but the Argentinian will not generate as much cash as the Brazilian. More news is expected in the next few hours.

Younès Belhanda Is Marco Branca’s Idea

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Younès Belhanda is the idea that Marco Branca, Inter technical director, has proposed to the club. The Moroccan is believed to be an alternative to Paulinho and he is only at 22 years old. Earlier reports suggest that Inter have postponed doing business with Montpellier until June but if Andrea Stramaccioni cannot get his man a.k.a. Paulinho, perhaps the Nerazzurri would suck it up and go after the Belhanda instead.

Offer Made For Nicolas Castillo And It Is Not From Inter

Nicolas Castillo is putting on a show at the U-20 South American tournament and rightfully so, he is getting a lot of attention from many clubs especially from Italy. However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, it is Standard Liege that are the favorite for the Chilean.

“Nicolas Castillo and Italy are more and more distant. The true gem, born in 1993, that Universidad Catolica are ready to let go after many impressive performances in the U-20 South American tournament. Standard Liege have made an offer which is the highest at the moment: 3.5 million. All parties could close in the next few hours. At this time, Inter, Juventus, and Genoa all seem to be out of the game. Unless there are higher offers for the Chilean Ibrahimovic, Standard Liege are poised to take him home.”

No Inter, Rolando Heading Towards Russia

Porto defender Rolando is not coming to Italy. He is a defender that has attracted many clubs but Porto do not intend to let him go on loan otherwise, Italian clubs would have the advantage for the Portuguese defender. Queens Park Rangers want to close negotiations but the English club is not an appreciated destination. There is Spartak Moscow in the last few hours. The Russian club has made an official offer of between eight and nine million euros. This could be the turning point for Porto and Rolando.

Montpellier President: “Younès Belhanda Is Free To Go Anywhere Except…"

Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has outlined the guidelines for the transfer of Younès Belhanda. According to the president, Belhanda will not be going to Fenerbahce, the club that recently announced its agreement with the player.

“Turkey is complicated from the financial point of view. Belhanda will not go to Fenerbahce, this is impossible. To me, he has the green light to leave but not to Turkey. I don’t know know who else would want him. Usually, I sell my players to England or Germany, not in other countries. Even in Spain other than Barcelona and Real Madrid.”

Currently Belhanda is with Morocco in the African Cup of Nations.

Brendan Rodgers Wants Coutinho At Liverpool By This Weekend

According to the Daily Telegraph, Liverpool coach Bredan Rodgers wants to have Philippe Coutinho wearing the red shirt very soon. The English coach would like negotiations to end before this weekend’s match between Liverpool and Oldham Athletic on January 27, 2013. But the reality is, Liverpool offer is still low and there is also Southampton with Coutinho’s former coach at Espanyol Mauricio Pochettino.

Gazzetta Confirms: Inter Could Really Sell Coutinho For 13 Million Euros

Philippe Coutinho is the most sought after player at Inter. The Brazilian does not lack requests especially from the Premier League. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the most concrete offer for Coutinho, seeing how Liverpool are stopping at eight million, is coming from Southampton (coach Pochettino had Cou at Espanyol) at 11 million euros (Sky reported 12 but it is close enough). Inter are asking for 15 million euros but reluctantly, Massimo Moratti and company could really sell the Brazilian at about 13 million and at that point, a decisive blitz on Paulinho is going to happen.

Paulinho Now Has Higher Release Clause: 20 Million Euros

Acquiring Paulinho is going to be expensive, a lot more expensive compared to let’s say last August. The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that in August, the release clause was established when Paulinho renewed contract with Corinthians (1.8 million annually). The figure for that clause was 15 million euros. However, some Brazilian sources are saying that, in reality, it is much closer to 20 million for the entire card of Paulinho. A complicated negotiation with just a little bit more than one week remaining in this transfer window.

No One Wants Alvarez Outright, The Number One Reason Why Inter Considering Selling Coutinho

After Sneijder, another sale is necessary for Inter to at least think about Paulinho. The Brazilian of Corinthians is the type of player that this Inter midfield needs. The problem is that there is no club wants to buy Ricardo Alvarez. The Argentinian is the number one target that Inter want to sacrifice, not Coutinho. But the fact of the matter is all the teams interested in Alvarez from Wolfsburg, River Plate to Velez and Atletico Madrid only want him on loan and that is not going to be accepted by Inter management.

Latest On Nicola Bellomo And Ezequiel Schelotto

The big news regarding Nicola Bellomo is that Roma seem to have backed out of the race. The Giallorossi director Franco Baldini believes that Bellomo is not coming to Roma despite interest for the Bari talent. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter now perhaps will have the green light to make concrete steps to close the deal.

Things are still complicated between Inter and Atalanta for Ezequiel Schelotto. Reports are saying that there is a strong disagreement on the value of Marko Livaja. Inter are willing to offer half of the Croatian but the value of this half is much higher than what Atalanta have in mind.

Sebastian Jung To Inter In January, Very Difficult

From his website, Alfredo Pedulla explains that there are many complications that prevent right back Sebastian Jung going to Inter this January.

“There is much talk of Molinaro and Jung, the full back of Suttgart and Eintracht, and their potential move to Serie A. But seeing them in our league in January is extremely difficult . Molinaro has the priority of staying in Stuttgart and the club also shares the same idea. Jung is talking with Eintracht of a possible renewal. The German right back is liked a lot by Inter and Roma but currently, he has no conditions to leave Germany by the 31st.”

Genoa President: “Better For Bellomo To Come To Genoa Than Inter”

Enrico Preziosi has confirmed to Mediaset Premium that his Genoa are on talks with Bari for the talented Italian midfielder Nicola Bellomo.

“We have talked with Bari and I think that Bellomo is a potentially important player. To me, it is better for him to go to a team like Genoa instead of immediately be at Inter or at Milan.”

Preziosi also reveals important behind the scene news on Matias Silvestre. “Do I still have hope for Silvestre? Well, I am waiting for an answer from Inter.”

Radja Nainggolan At Inter In January, Not Possible

Radja Nainggolan is considered an alternative to Paulinho. The Brazilian has a release clause of close to 20 million euros and that is the reason why perhaps Inter could start thinking at some other solutions soon. One of which is Radja Nainggolan. However, yesterday speaking to Sport Italia, the player’s representatives denied the interest from Inter and said that the midfielder will stay at Cagliari in January.

Younès Belhanda Wants Inter, Putting Agreement With Fenerbahce On Hold

According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Younès Belhanda is a concrete objective for Inter.

“The player wants to come to Inter and for this reason, he has put a stop to any agreement with Fenerbahce. The Moroccan midfielder wants to understand more about the chances that he could wear the Inter shirt in June. The Turkish club has offered eight million but Montpellier are asking for 12.”

Furthermore, the French club’s president has publicly shut down any possibility of a transfer to Turkey by stating that “there are complications financially (in that country).”

Samuele Longo’s Agent In Spain Today, Possible Return To Inter Will Be Discussed

According to a report by Sky Sport, Samuele Longo’s agent will be in Spain today. The objective is to understand more about the possible return to Inter who would be more than willing to embrace the Italian striker. Agent will also want to know if Espanyol have any intention of keeping him at least until the summer. Longo is on loan at the Spanish club and was used in the last league match. Everything will be evaluated.

Meeting Between Inter And Younès Belhanda’s Representatives Today

According to Turin daily newspaper Tuttosport, it is expected that there will be a meeting between Inter and Belhanda’s representatives. The Nerazzurri have recently re-established contacts with agents of the Moroccan and the idea is to sign the player in June. The asking price by his French club Montpellier is 12 million euros.

January Transfer Window, Decisive Time For Marco Branca

The transfer meeting on Tuesday between Massimo Moratti, Marco Branca and Rinaldo Ghelfi has laid the foundation for the last week of January transfer window. The presence of Ghelfi is very important here because as a finance person at the club, he would be able to inform Massimo Moratti on how things are doing economically at Inter. Meanwhile, under the watchful eyes of Inter president, Marco Branca will continue operating deals like normal. There have been many rumors that the relationship between Branca and Moratti cracked a bit after the handling of Sneijder’s transfer. Fans often pointed the finger at the technical director who cannot have any more mistakes.

Juventus, Together With Genoa, Could Close For Nicolas Castillo In The Next 48 Hours

The star at the U-20 South American championship is no other than Nicolas Castillo, one that has the attention from half of Europe. In Italy, there are Juventus and Inter as both clubs are trying to fight it out for the Chilean striker. Abroad, there is Standard Liegi as a strong competitor for the so called Ibrahimovic of Chile. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are looking to convince the player after Inter making its first move on him.

“Standard Liege have offered 1.7 million and Stuttgart’s offer is at 2.2 million. Both refused by Universidad Católica. Marotta could close the deal, with the collaboration of Genoa, perhaps in the next 48 hours. As a first team player, Castillo has already had 35 appearances and 16 goals.”

Velez Director: “Our Coach Wants Ricardo Alvarez”

Speaking to Olé, sporting director of Velez, Christian Bassedas, announces the real interest for his former player Ricardo Alvarez.

“We know that it will be difficult but we know the player well. Ricardo Gareca (Velez coach) wants him and Alvarez would be fantastic for the Libertadores. We want a champion with class and personality like Alvarez.”

Atalanta Director: “Negotiations For Schelotto, Not Taking Off”

In an interview with Gazzetta TV, general director of Atalanta Pierpaolo Marino discusses current negotiations with Inter for the Argentinian wing player Ezequiel Schelotto.

“As I said before, this deal is not taking off because there are issues. The relationship between the two presidents Moratti and Percassi, is particularly good but at the moment there is no offer that we can say that negotiations will close.”

Word is that Atalanta want eight million euros but the current offer from Inter is 2.5 million plus half of Marko Livaja (1.5 million value) for Schelotto. “We are talking about a player that does not have a lot of Serie A experience, one that has not expressed himself well in the league unlike Schelotto. He is a proven Serie A player and expressed that last season and this part of this season as well. Schelotto is a good player, 23 years old and is still young. To us, his current price is quite attractive for one that has his characters and attributes in his transfer market.”

Montpellier President: “Agreement With Inter For Younès Belhanda.” Inter: “No Offer”

Inter are very close to Younès Belhanda. Negotiations are underway and to reveal their status, here is the president on Montpellier, Louis Nicolli, talking to the Turkish newspaper AMKSpor

“There are no developments at any kind regarding negotiations with Fenerbahce. But I can confirm that on Thursday, I have received an offer from Inter for 14 million euros. Well, I have accepted it. The club that won the Belhanda race is Inter because Fenerbahce offered only eight million and that is not the right price for Belhanda,” revealed Nicollin.

However, Inter have officially came out and denied this rumor. Technical director Marco Branca, through a press release, stated that “We do not like to contradict the president of Montpellier but Inter have not made an offer for Younès Belhanda.” So ends within hour the question of the possible transfer of Moroccan midfielder. The player, 23 years old, is liked a lot by Inter but official steps have not taken because negotiations of this kind are for June.

Anderlecht General Director: “Lucas Biglia Is Worth 11 Million”

Hans Van Holsbeek, general director of Anderlecht, does not yield an inch when it comes to Lucas Biglia. On the possible sale of the player, the Belgian club’s management has made it clear that they have no intention to back away from the initial intentions.

“Tonight, Lucas will arrive in Brussels and starting tomorrow, he will train regularly with the rest of the team. If he wants to leave then a team must come with an offer that I talked about last month: 8 million net for us which means 11 million in total. Will it be difficult for him to leave seeing how we are already at January 22? That figure that I mentioned is not our request but it is the term of pay for his transfer in January. All I can say is that it is a sum of money that only a few can and want to pay. Inter? I do not know. There has been no contact and on one has presented a concrete offer.”

Loan Request For Blerim Dzemaili Denied

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter have formalized a request asking for Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili on loan. The request was rejected by Napoli because the Swiss is quite important in the plans of Mazzarri.

Agent: “I Hope Livaja Stays At Inter”

Talking to Matteo Barzaghi, a Sky journalist, Federico Pastorello issues a short statement regarding the future of his client Marko Livaja.

“With Atalanta, we have not heard directly from them but we know that there is something between the two clubs. Anyway, I hope that Livaja stays at Inter and finds playing time here because he wants to prove his worth.”

Gregory Van Der Wiel To Inter In June For Five Million?

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have practically booked Gregory Van der Wiel, Paris Saint-Germain right back, for June. The cost is believed to be low at about five million euros. This operation, however, is to be completed.

Longo Winning Espanyol Coach Over, Could Stay In Spain Until Season Ends

The future of Samuele Longo is in balance, as least previously. The Italian striker with the arrival of a new coach (Aguirre) on the Espanyol bench did not seem to have a lot of chance to find space until the last match. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, it seems that Aguirre is willing to give Longo more playing time due to a very good performance in the last league match. For this reason, Longo could really stay at Espanyol until the end of the season. That is something that the fans want to see.

Genoa Wanted Answer Regarding Silvestre. Inter’s Response: He’s Not Leaving

“I am waiting for a response from Inter.” That was the comment made yesterday by Genoa president Enrico Preziosi about the Inter defender Matias Silvestre. According to TMW, the fact is that Inter have already responded: Silvestre is not going anywhere. The defender is on loan from Palermo with right to purchase and he will continue wearing the Inter shirt at least until the end of the season. Leaving Milan is something not possible as of right now. A few days ago, the same player said no to Genoa so there are no margins for negotiations. In June, perhaps things will be different. Then, Inter will evaluate what to do based on the player’s performances. But right now, Silvestre remains a nerazzurro.

Adani: “Belhanda Would Be A Good Replacement For Sneijder”

Many people, fans and journalists, believe that Younès Belhanda, Moroccan midfielder currently playing for Montpellier, is an ideal replacement for Wesley Sneijder. From the studios of Sky Sport, Daniele Adani promotes the idea of Younès Belhanda wearing the Inter shirt.

“Belhanda is a number 10, a trequartista that can surely do very in the role that Wesley Sneijder has left behind at Inter. Perhaps, he (Belhanda) is even more of a fantasista than the Dutch.”

Globoesporte: “Paulinho Wants To Stay In Brazil But Inter Will Try Until Last Minute”

The track leading towards Paulinho is getting longer and more complicated. As reported by Globoesporte, Inter continue laying the foundation for the midfielder but at this time, Paulinho wants to stay in Brazil. Inter management, however, will try until the very last minute to have him landed at Appiano Gentile but negotiations are obviously difficult.

Di Marzio: “Bellomo Will Play For Inter”

Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio believes that at the end of the day, Nicola Bellomo will be playing for Inter. “I would say that he will play for Inter. The Nerazzurri are formalizing an official offer to Bari and we are very close to a conclusion,” said Di Marzio. Roma, after the white flag by its director yesterday, seem to be out of the race.

Bellomo Day Tomorrow, Meeting Bari-Inter To Close Negotiations

Inter want to close negotiations for Nicola Bellomo now. And for that reason, Bari sporting director will be in Milan tomorrow and a meeting with Inter management is not out of question. Inter directors were at the Olympic stadium for Coppa Italia and will return to Milan tomorrow. Bari are waiting for an official offer and Inter have promised to make that offer in the next hours. There is Roma lurking around the corner but Inter have the preference for Nicola Bellomo, a known Interista.

Sky: No Inter Offer For Belhanda

According to Sky, there is no news regarding Younès Belhanda and there is also no evidence in the words of Montpellier president who said earlier today that there is an agreement with Inter for Belhanda at 14 million euros. Those words were denied by Marco Branca shortly right after.

The price for the Moroccan midfielder is 12 million and not 14 as stated by Niccolin. Fenerbahce have offered eight million and those words from the president were just to raise the Turkish club’s offer. Inter want the player in June, not January.

Ruben Botta, The Latest Idea For Inter Midfield

There is a new idea for the Inter midfield. Due to the complexity of Paulinho negotiations and the unwillingness to close deal for Belhanda in January, Inter are thinking of the many alternatives that management has in mind. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa, Inter are evaluating Ruben Botta, a 22 year-old Argentinian midfielder. Botta has an expiring contract with Tigre and is among many names as possible solution for Stramaccioni’s midfield.

Sky: Atalanta Now Want 9 Million For Schelotto, Impossible Figure For Inter

Ezequiel Schelotto and Inter? Negotiations continue getting more and more complicated as each day passes by. President Massimo Moratti, on Monday morning, said that “I see in our country everyone is expensive. So I don’t think anything will happen.” The perfect example of this is that according to Sky, Atalanta have upped their request for Ezequiel Schelotto to nine million. “This is an impossible figure at that moment,” said Baiocchini, Sky reporter.

Special Admirer Of Ruben Botta: Inter Head Scout Valentino Angeloni

Ruben Botta Montero, a trequartista of Tigre, is a 22 year-old (will turn 23 by January 31) Argentinian and has a very special admirer: Inter head scout Valentino Angeloni. The talent scout of Inter has seen the player in action in the match between Tigre and Deportivo Anzoategui. That was more than a good observation. Not only that there was a dinner between the two to understand the possibility of a transfer to the city of Milan in June.

This is not a done deal yet but there are two positive factors, other than the talent of course: he has an EU passport and an expiring contract in June of 2013. Growing up in the Tigre’s youth system, Ruben Botta was approached in the recent past by Torino and Napoli but the blitz by Angeloni is important and could lead to Inter speeding up time to wrap up the deal. Voices suggest that it could be a Castaignos-style deal, which is most likely to take off in June. The current value of Ruben Botta is two million euros.

Inter Have Clear Path Towards Nicola Bellomo

No competition for Bari midfielder Nicola Bellomo. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri “almost have a clear path” towards one of their main transfer targets in this January window. With both Roma (the most fierce competitor) and Milan backing out of the deal, Inter are ready to make its official offer in the next few hours. Due to economic difficulty, Bari are willing to offload their player immediately at the right cost. How much? Reports are saying that for Bari’s half, Bellomo’s value is at two million euros. Chievo own the other half of the player.

Negotiations For Schelotto Full Of Complication, Inter To Turn To Sebastian Jung

Many figures are being reported by the media over the past several days in terms of Atalanta’s high demands for Ezequiel Schelotto. But regardless of what those figures might be, the fact of the matter is that the gap between Inter and the club in Bergamo is still a huge difference. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, if Marko Livaja is not going to Atalanta in the deal for Schelotto, then Inter would probably include him in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt for Sebastian Jung, an alternative for the right wing player position.

Inter Interested In Mariano Andujar. Catania: “Not Selling Anyone”

Inter are still actively looking for a back up goalkeeper after the shoulder injury of Luca Castellazzi. The latest name for this position seems to be Mariano Andujar, Catania goalkeeper. Speaking to Itasportpress Sergio Gasparin, the Catania director, shuts down all the possibility of this rumor.

“I hate repeating myself but we are not selling Mariano Andujar. No one is leaving in January,” said Gasparin. Another Catania target, after Francesco Lodi, is ready to stay put.

Sky: The Hottest Name For Inter Midfield Is Lucas Biglia

From the studios of Sky Sport, Emanuele Baiocchini gives the latest updates on Inter’s mission to find a midfield director for Andrea Stramaccioni.

“The hottest name right now is Lucas Biglia, Anderlecht midfielder. His value has dropped compared to the 10 million from last season and could really be a coup for January. For Jaime Valdes, Inter have requested an exchange with Mariga and Parma are evaluating this option.”

Simeone: “Alvarez? We Cannot Talk About It”

Diego Pablo Simeone once again ignores to comment on all transfer market rumors related to his club Atletico Madrid. The Argentinian coach, who spoke at a press conference, when asked about Ricardo Alvarez and the alleged interest/involvement for the Inter midfielder, replied: “We have a very important cup match, we cannot be distracted by talking about something else…”

English Tabloid: Coutinho Wants To Play For Liverpool

Sensational news coming from The Times about Philippe Coutinho. According to the English tabloid, the Brazilian has chosen Liverpool as his next club. Out of all the teams that have shown interest, it is Liverpool the preference of Coutinho. Liverpool and Inter continue making contact with the latest being last night. A new offer of about eight million pounds was presented and there seems to be confidence of closing the deal.

Sky: Inter To Be Swayed With 12 Million Offer For Coutinho

Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky transfer expert, explains that the 12 million offer from Southampton could seriously make Inter think about letting go of Philippe Coutinho. “Coutinho has been blocked by Inter against offers coming from Aston Villa and Liverpool but the 12 million from Southampton could really sway Inter to sell the Brazilian,” stated Di Marzio.

Coutinho and Alvarez are regarded as two sacrifices that Inter could make for Paulinho.

Velez Coach: “Yes, I’d Like To Have Alvarez”

In a press conference yesterday, Velez Sarsfield coach Ricardo Gareca confirmed interest for Ricardo Alvarez, although at the moment, the number 11 Inter player is unlikely to return home. “Yes, I would like to have Alvarez back but negotiations will be difficult,” said Gareca. Atletico Madrid are also a candidate to land the Argentinian midfielder. Offers for Alvarez are something that Inter are not lacking however, they are all loan offers. The Nerazzurri intend to sell the Argentinian outright at a reasonable bid.

Cheap Option Fernando Gago Intrigues Inter

He is on his way out of Valencia. Fernando Gago, former Real Madrid and Roma player, according to the Corriere dello Sport is in the plans of Inter as a possible reinforcement for the midfield. The Rome newspaper suggests that despite lacking the characteristics that Inter are looking for in a midfielder, his cheap price tag of 3.5 million euros is making Inter thinking about it.

Inter Not Interested In Offered Richard Ortiz

Ricard Ortiz is not in the plans at Inter. The 22-year-old Paraguayan was offered to Inter according to the Corriere dello Sport but the Nerazzurri are not really interested in the Club Olimpia player. Inter management prefers other targets and on the left wing, where Ortiz plays, is all covered. It should be noted that in that role, Inter already “imported” Rodrigo Alborno who has yet to prove to be a good investment.

Incredible Atalanta: Schelotto Now Has Higher Price Tag Than Sneijder

To say things are complicated and not going anywhere is an understatement. There are no margins for negotiations between Atalanta and Inter for Ezequiel Schelotto. As reported by Sky, Atalanta now value Schelotto at 9 million euros. That is just a a lot of money based on what Inter are willing to offer: 4 million plus half of Livaja. It is also curious to see that Sechelotto’s price tag is one and a half million more than Sneijder’s who went to Galatasaray for 7.5 million euros.

Schelotto: “No One Can Take Away The Opportunity To Dream”

Ezequiel Schelotto is sending signals via his Twitter account. The Atalanta winger, one that Inter are interested in, a few minutes ago tweeted this: “No one can take away the opportunity to dream.” Very cryptic message from the Italian-Argentinian. A personal message perhaps dedicated to Atalanta management whose incredibly high demands are preventing Schelotto from making his dream move to Inter.

Agent: “Branca Was Right, No Offer For Belhanda. He Wants To Keep His Options Open”

The statements made by Montpellier president yesterday certainly intrigued a lot of discussion. Initially, many fans were quite excited in hearing this news until the official press release on Inter’s website denying any agreement for Younès Belhanda.

Speaking to Calciomercato.com, agent Jean-Christophe Cano provides some clarity on the situation: “Who is telling the truth between the president Nicollin and director Branca? I think the latter. The future of my client is difficult to determine at this time, everything depends on the club. The player’s desire is to be attentive to various possibilities that could be presented without excluding, however, the chances of staying at Montpellier.”

Daily Mail: Inter Accepted Southampton’s Offer For Coutinho

According to the Daily Mail, Southampton have won the race for the Brazilian Philippe Coutinho. The English newspaper reports that The Saints have beaten competition from Liverpool (stopped at a bit less than 10 million euros) with a counter proposal to Inter at 10.2 million pounds (12.1 million euros). The decisive factor was the intervention of Maurcio Pochettino. The new coach of Southampton had coached Coutinho previously at Espanyol and is a known admirer of the Inter midfielder.

Keep in mind that this news is yet to be confirmed.

Agent: “I Don’t Think Bellomo Has Been Sold Yet”

Davide Lippi, agent of Bari talent Nicola Bellomo, is certain that there is no deal yet. Talking to Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, he said that “I do not know if Nicola has been sold because otherwise I think I would have been contacted.” According to Sky, Lippi is expected to be in Milan today and could meet with Inter management to close negotiations.

Problem Solved With Anderlecht, Bigla Staying In Belgium

It’s a day of clarity at Anderlecht. Lucas Biglia has arrived in Brussels to explain his three-week absence to technical director Hans Van Holsbeeck. After the meeting, the club’s director explains that the player has shown his medical proof and will not be fined. “The headache? Sometimes you have to realize that you must close one eye to forget and forgive everything. To me, he can already play on Sunday,” said Van Holsbeeck.

These words perhaps now will close any transfer speculation surrounding the Argentinian midfielder who recently revealed a loan offer from Inter.

Atalanta Director: “No Negotiations With Inter For Marko Livaja”

From the official presentation of the new Atalanta player Igor Budan, the club’s director Pieropaolo Marino puts a stop on any talks regarding Marko Livaja because there is nothing going on at the moment. “I think it is useless to talk about Marko Livaja because we are talking about a negotiation that does not exist.” Negotiations to bring Schelotto to Inter have not been successful and they are not going anywhere at the moment due to high demands by Atalanta.

Jung: “Staying At Eintracht Is My First Choice”

Sebastian Jung defines priorities. The German right back, long time transfer objective of Inter, is having a good season with the shirt of Eintracht Frankfurt as the Germain club is trying to get to an European competition next season. But will Jung be part of it next year? He apparently thinks so.

“Eintracht remain the first option in my choices. Let’s see if the next conversations that I have with them can lead to a contract renewal. But I have to think of my performance on the field because that’s what really matters to me. Everything else comes after.”

Younès Belhanda’s Agents In Italy, Player Wants To Join Inter. Figures Of Transfer…

More confirmations on the interest of Inter for Younès Belhanda, 22 year-old Moroccan trequartista of Montpellier, who could join Inter in June. According to a report in today’s edition of the L’Equipe, the player’s agents are already in Italy to negotiation the transfer with the club of Moratti. Inter would pay Montpellier a figure between 10 to 12 million euros over three installments. The newspaper also believes that Belhanda would be very happy to join the Nerazzurri. We await more developments in the upcoming days.

No Inter Return, Longo To Stay In Spain

Samuele Longo will not return to Inter this is according to Gianluca Di Marzio from his website. The striker’s agent Renzo Contratto is back from Spain where he had assurances that Espanyol will continue counting on Longo for the rest of the season. Contratto was in Spain to get a better idea of Espanyol’s intention but now it seems that Longo will get regular playing time, a return to Inter is postponed until the summer.

OFFICIAL: Duncan Joins Livorno, Bianchetti To Hellas Verona

As expected, Alfred Duncan and Matteo Bianchetti have been transferred to Livorno and Hellas Verona respectively. The Ghanian midfielder joins Livorno on loan while the Italian defender joins Hellas Verona on loan with an option to buy into a co-ownership deal.

Paulinho’s Release Clause Is At 18 Million Euros

Paulinho is a player that Inter dream about, believe that they could get him and want to give it a try. Paulinho is really liked by Andrea Stramaccioni and is the number one target for the midfield. However, negotiations have been difficult with Corinthians because the Brazilian club does not want to let go of its best player. As revealed by Sky, there is a clause that could free Paulinho at 18 million euros. This figure has been confirmed despite rumors in Brazil of a slightly higher figure.

This could be a turning point for Inter to make their attack although it is not going to be easy. Inter, to arrive to 18 million, will need another sales after the departure of Wesley Sneijder. The dream is there and has a fixed price, but it is a difficult dream to realize.

Sky: Samuel The Likely Candidate To Leave Inter In June, Campagnaro As Replacement

Last week, the Gazzetta dello Sport posted a question of who is going to be the next hero in the treble season in 2010 to leave Inter. Many responses are Diego Milito due to his high wages and the desire to go back to his home country to finish his career. However, according to Sky, the next hero in that successful year to leave Inter is Walter Samuel. The Argentinian is getting older and as a result has suffered many setbacks injury wise. The replacement is ready: Hugo Armando Campagnaro will arrive in the summer at no cost. A solid defender and has Serie A experience.

Strama Wants A Quality Player In This Transfer Window

One man can only do so much. Fredy Guarin has been the best player for Inter over the past several weeks and that is not questionable. However, the player needs help especially in the midfield because there is so much that he can do. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Andrea Stramaccioni has realized that much more help is needed and has asked Inter for a quality player in this January transfer market window. A quality player in transfer window is not easy to find due to many factors: no one wants to sell in the middle of the season, financial problems, and the lack of time. With one more week remaining, we’ll see if Andrea Stramaccioni’s dream can be realized.

Agent And South American Football Expert: “Inter Wasted So Much Time On Paulinho”

Agent and South American football expert Luciano Spinosi criticizes Inter of wasting too much time on Paulinho.

“I do not think that we realize the economic strength of Brazil. Brazilian clubs are going through a golden age just like many European clubs when the calender turned to 2000. Corinthians are a very rich football club and Paulinho’s shirt is the second most sold shirt in the entire Brazil just after Neymar. I’m talking about a player who is earning more than two million euros per year. Inter have lost a lot of time and they should have signed the player long ago. Last summer, Paulinho could be bought for six to seven million euros, now the player is worth about 18-20 million and the price will only go up.”

Montpellier Vice President: “Belhanda Wants To Leave But No Offers. Seven Days Left, We’ll See”

To update the latest on Younès Belhanda’s situation, here is the vice president of Montpellier Laurent Nicollin who confirms the words of Marco Branca and that there is no offer for the Moroccan midfielder.

“The situation of Belhanda is that this is absolutely going nowhere. The player wants to leave but there are no offers and so it is complicated. We have met with Fenerbahce management at our headquarters but the offer was not at all satisfactory because they wanted to pay the transfer fee in three years. Then there are talks of Russian, German and English teams also Inter and Milan but there is nothing. There are still seven days at the end of the transfer market and maybe something will happen but otherwise, Belhanda will leave in July as expected.”

Journalist Casotti Describes Younès Belhanda As “Perfect Replacement For Wesley Sneijder”

Sport Italia journalist Federico Casotti gives his opinion on Younès Belhanda, the player that has been linked heavily to Inter.

“Belhanda is a trequartista that could take the place of Sneijder. We are talking about a very talented young player who has class and is ready to take the next big step after having played in the Champions League. He is young and has perfect characteristics that Inter are looking for.”

His talent is not questionable but there are some red flags that Casotti has warned Inter.

“The biggest doubt about Belhanda is his behavior not so much off the field but on the field. He is often sent off for protests, frustration fouls. Same thing happened last year when Montpellier were fighting for the league victory at the end of the season. That being said, he is a player that has 9-10 years of high level football in him.”

From the contractual point of view, there should be no problems.

“He does not want to renew his contract. Belhanda wants to leave and Montpellier have come to the realization of selling the player. President Nicollin is one that knows how to make good business but this time, I don’t think he will get more than 10 million for the player.”

Moratti Backing Out Of Paulinho Negotiations Due To High Transfer Fee?

According to Sport Mediaset, Inter president Massimo Moratti has put a stop to the negotiations for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. All because of a very high transfer fee which makes this operation unrealistic. With seven days remaining in this transfer window, it seems that Inter will have no other option than the following two: sell Coutinho to have the funds for Paulinho or going after cheap alternatives and rethink about Paulinho in the summer.

BREAKING NEWS: Inter Have Decided To Sell Coutinho, Money Will Be Reinvested For Paulinho

Sacrifices are being made just to get Paulinho. Inter have decided that they want to sell Coutinho to finance Paulinho’s transfer to Italy. The Corinthians midfielder is valued at 18 million euros, higher than the initial thought of 15. In order for the arrival of Paulinho, Inter want to sacrifice Coutinho after the sell of Sneijder. For this reason, an emissary of Inter was with Southampton with the intention of asking them to raise their offer to 13 million euros. If Southampton offer 12-13 million euros, Coutinho can leave.

Andrea Stramaccioni strongly wants Paulinho and this is his demand to Inter management. The alternatives are Biglia and Gago. They are just in plan B right now. But it is certain: Inter will sacrifice Coutinho to make their Paulinho dream comes true.

Blitz For Sebastian Jung. Belhanda? Inter Feel Used By Montpellier

Here is the latest on the right wing player that Inter have been searching for this transfer window. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, arriving this weekend in Italy are Eintracht directors. Both clubs could then talk about the transfer of Sebastian Jung to the black and blue shirt of Inter. Eintracht Frankfurt are very interested in Marko Livaja so these two players will certainly be discussed.

Regarding Younès Belhanda, Sky is saying that Inter feel used by Montpellier because the French club announced false information in order to raise offer for the midfielder. The relationship between two clubs is not good.

Gazzetta dello Sport Confirms: Inter Want To Sell Coutinho For 12-13 Million

More confirmation is arriving regarding the possible transfer of Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has been identified as the one player that Stramaccioni wants to sacrifice in order to land his biggest dream of having Paulinho on this team. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are willing to sell the player for 12-13 million euros in order to start the attack on Paulinho. However, the paper also reports that Coutinho is dreaming to play for Liverpool. Complete report coming soon on FedeNerazzurra.com.

Philippe Coutinho, The Sacrificial Lamp For The Arrival Of Paulinho

Milan – Between Inter and Paulinho there is a third wheel: Philippe Coutinho. Six days until the end of January transfer window, Coutinho is “winning” the race against Alvarez as the number one candidate that is on his way out of Inter. Just in the last few hours, Premier clubs have renewed their interest via a fax sent to Inter management. Yesterday afternoon, there was a long meeting between Moratti, Branca and Ausilio and perhaps this topic was discussed.

To sell or not to sell Cou? The departure of Sneijder is not enough for Inter to get their hands on Paulinho. Southampton president Nicola Cortese has offered 10.2 million euros plus bonuses, an attractive figure for the club of Massimo Moratti but not enough for Inter to sell the young Brazilian who was acquired at three million few years ago. Liverpool have also opened up their purses but only offered nine million, a low offer it would be very difficult to see the white smoke at Anfield.

Another 48 hours The problem right now is that the choice of Coutinho falls to a club that is offering less: Liverpool. In short, if the Saints reach the roof with a 13 million offer (or 12 million plus bonuses) then, with the work of an emissary, the adventure of Coutinho at Inter could really be over with the Brazilian heading over Southampton. But if the Reds were to up the offer, like the player’s hoping, both clubs and player would be happy, even if Inter would let him go reluctantly. Inter have allegedly asked the two English clubs to take 48 hrs to think, whilst they consider the Paulinho deal. For Alvarez, Atletico Madrid do not want to spend but only asked for a loan move while River Plate are going towards the idea of buying but the player does not want to return home with the table of those who failed in Italy. That is why Coutinho has overtaken the Argentinian as the number one candidate to be sacrificed by Inter.

15 and not 18 Last night, there was the news that the release clause of Paulinho is increasing. The Corinthians midfielder will certainly head towards Inter should the sale of Coutinho become concrete. The amount to get Corinthians open the Paulinho-lock is 15 million euros, not 18.

Partnership With Bologna To Sign Ruben Botta

Inter are observing Tigre trequartista Ruben Botta. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter head scout Angeloni was at dinner with the player to understand the feasibility of signing the Argentinian midfielder. Word is that Inter could form a partnership with Bologna by leaving Botta at the Rossoblu until the end of the season then retake him in July. By doing this way, Inter would avoid a lot of competition on the player who has an expiring contract in June.

Coutinho And Alvarez, Could They Both Leave Inter This January?

Inter are in love with Paulinho. To the point that they are willing to sacrifice some of their talent to get their dream man. According to Andrea Paventi, Sky journalist, “One of the two could seriously leave Pinetina for Inter make money right away in January. If not even both, it depends on the offers that Inter are going to get.” At the moment, Coutinho is the most likely to leave Inter because he has more concrete bids unlike Alvarez who only receives loan offers.

Meeting Inter-Bari For Bellomo While Ujkani Emerges As Back Up Goalkeeping Option

Roma are still there for Nicola Bellomo according to Mediaset Premium but Inter are seriously trying to move ahead of the Giallorossi for the 21 year-old Nicola Bellomo who is co-owned by Bari and Chievo. There was a meeting yesterday with Bari leadership as Inter want to buy their half of the player.

Meanwhile, Samir Ujkani has emerged as an option to become Samir Handanovic’s back up. With the signing of Sorrentino at Palermo, Samir Ujkani could be offloaded due to much competition for the goalkeeping position at the Rosanero.

Sky: “Stramaccioni Wants Paulinho, Paulinho And Paulinho”

Not only Paulinho is the top transfer target for Inter but he is also the desire of Andrea Stramaciconi this is according to many transfer experts around Italy. To explain this love fest between Strama and Paulinho, Gianluca Di Marzio explains that the Brazilian “ranks first on the shopping list of the Inter coach but he is also the second and the third. Stramaccioni wants Paulinho, Paulinho and Paulinho.”

Southampton Have Yet To Meet Inter’s Demand Of 13 Million For Coutinho, Negotiation Continues

Negotiation between Inter and Southampton for Philippe Coutinho is in progress although it has hit a wall. The Brazilian trequartista is loved by Mauricio Pochettino, his former coach at Espanyol, but the English club has not yet met the demand of Inter which is 13 million euros. Both parties will continue to negotiate hoping that white smoke is on the horizon. Liverpool are stopping at eight million and have not made a higher offer. Meanwhile, Southampton believe.

Sky: Moratti Not Convinced In Paulinho

Signing Paulinho is the first desire of Andrea Stramaccioni. As explained by Sky Sport, the coach wants only one name for the midfield and that is Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. It is almost an obsession that lasted for months but it is going to take 15-18 million plus sacrificing Coutinho for the 24 year-old Brazilian. The cost of this transaction does not convince Massimo Moratti. The president has doubts and wants to evaluate everything but at this time, he is not certain about this deal.

Sebastian Jung: “The Release Clause Exists”

Inter have been linked to Sebastian Jung practically this entire month. The Nerazzurri have also spoken with Eintracht Frankfurt who will be in Italy to make another inquiry for Inter striker Marko Livaja. Negotiations are underway but it is going to be difficult.

Meanwhile, Jung reveals that there is a clause in his contract to Sport1: “Inter? I have heard many voices and it is true that there is a clause. But at the end, I will decide. I am fine at Eintracht and this is my first choice.”

The clause is believed to be 2.5 million, valid until June or for the last year of his contract.

Offer Made For 19 Year-Old Estudiantes Midfielder Joaquin Correa

Joaquin Correa is a director in the midfield, born in 1994, and plays for Estudiantes. He was the player that replaced Juan Sebastian Veron in his last game as a footballer. Now, la Brujita is the sporting director at Estudiantes and does not want to let Correa go. The player wants Inter who have proposed a one year loan with right to purchase. The parties are talking but there is already an offer made by Inter: 100 thousand euros for the loan, 700 thousand to sign permanently.

Estudiantes, however, are asking 100 thousand dollars for the loan, 1.8 million for 80% of his card. Veron, together with coach Diego Cagna, would like to keep him but at these figures, it is likely that the Argentinian club’s management is willing to sell.

However, this is not a simple negotiation, he is a 1994-born player and the club wants to focus on him for the future. Correa already has a passport and was in Europe in December to take it. Inter want but Veron stops: Correa is a concrete objective.

Agent: “Andreolli Will Stay At Chievo”

Speaking to Calciomercato.it, agent of Chievo defender Marco Andreolli, provides the latest update on his client. “At the moment, there is no news. I think that Andreolli will stay where he is. There are no ongoing negotiations,” said agent Patrick Bastianelli. Perhaps Inter can revisit and start concrete negotiations for its former youth player in the summer.

Paulinho Ignores Speculation: “Transfer Rumors? I’m On Vacation”

He is not thinking about Inter. The Corinthians midfielder Paulinho is ignoring the possibility of leaving Brazil.

“At this moment I am on vacation in Sao Paulo but I am trying to be in shape and training. Transfer market? No, I am just getting ready to become in top form because now there is the Paulistao, I want to give my best and I cannot wait.”

Atalanta Coach: “We Will Evalute Everthing If Offer Arrives For Schelotto”

Stefano Colantuono, Atalanta coach, discusses with Sky the future of Ezequiel Schelotto.

“Here, Matias has a lot of improvement and he is doing very well. However, the reason that he is not playing is because transfer market rumors can disturb him and that is normal. Now we will see what happens, we will evaluate everything with management. Otherwise, he will stay with us because Schelotto is a very important player.”

It has been widely reported that Atlanta and Inter have an insurmountable gap and negotiations are not going anywhere.

Anderlecht President: “Biglia Leaving In June, Can’t Keep Him Against His Will”

Dieumerci Mbokani (27 years old) and Lucas Biglia (26) are destined to leave Anderlecht this summer. Both players have been linked to a transfer to England and in Italy.

“Mbokani told us that he will stay until the summer. We are in agreement with him regarding his departure in June. A transfer of 10 million euros? I think it is closer to 20. We are also working on the sale of Biglia. We are happy that no one has made requests for him because we want to win the title and because of that we are going to need Biglia. However, we cannot keep a player against his will,” said Anderlecht president Roger Vanden Stock.

Inter Irritated With Montpellier, No Belhanda In June

Younès Belhanda is at the center of controversy. As mentioned, Inter are truly irritated and pissed off at the fact that Montpellier took advantage of the Nerazzurri in order to raise Fenerbahce’s offer. Inter were exploited by Louis Nicollin, Montpellier president and the relationship between these two clubs is basically in the toilet perhaps to the point that possible negotiations for Belhanda in June would be affected in a negative way.

Inter Not Interested In Blerim Dzemaili

There have been rumors that Inter have asked Napoli for midfielder Blerim Dzemaili but Di Marzio explains that it is not the case as Inter are looking at a different type of midfielder. “As far as Dzemaili, the interest coming from Lazio is not confirmed. Inter? No, the Nerazzurri do not want him because they are looking at a different midfielder with the identikit as one who can play in front of the defense,” said Gianluca Di Marzio.

Corinthians Director: “No Contact With Inter”

Roberto De Andrade, Corinthians sporting director, talks about the future of Paulinho to Calciomercato.it.

“At the moment, Inter are not in contact with us and there is no official offer from Italy. Chelsea? No, at the moment, I can assure you that we have not received any proposals for our player.”

Inter Remain Favorite To Sign Bellomo But… In June

Inter remain the strong favorite to sign Bari talent Nicola Bellomo as they have overcome Roma, for the time being, as the most likely destination for the Italian midfielder. This was reported by Sky adding that Inter are working only for June. The reason is that Bari want to keep the player until the end of the season and it would be pretty hard to sign the player now.

Agreement Reached, Carrizo To Inter In June On Free Transfer

Inter have chosen its second goalkeeper starting from June onwards. According to Sky Sport, Juan Pablo Carrizo is expected to become the back up goalkeeper in June. There is already an agreement between all parties: the Argentinian goalkeeper has said yes and is ready to take the spot of Castellazzi. Carrizo’s contract expires in June also and thus, he will be a free transfer and Inter would only need to pay an annual salary.

Coutinho-Liverpool, It’s Done. Moratti Given OK For Paulinho

Premium Calcio is certain: Philippe Coutinho will be a Liverpool player early next week for a fee of around 10 million euros plus bonuses. At the end, Inter are convinced to sell the Brazilian because of financial issue only, not technical because the club needs the money to launch an attack on Paulinho, a true target as the end of the transfer market approaches.

The Timao midfielder has a clause of 18 million euros but the club of Moratti will negotiate to lower the figure. Inter are convinced that geting a lower figure than the release clause is doable and this is why Moratti has given the OK to do this deal given the insistence of Marco Branca and especially Andrea Stramaccioni, one of the biggest desires of the 24 year-old Brazilian.

Sky: Bidding War For Coutinho With Both Liverpool And Southampton Ready To Increase Offers

It is not done according to Sky. A few minutes ago, Premium Calcio reported that Coutinho going to Liverpool is a done deal but that is not the case according to Sky. Based on a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, “Inter are enjoying a bidding war between Southampton and Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho. On Monday, Southampton will decide to increase their offer to 13 million while Liverpool are also ready to make this proposal for the Brazilian.”

Meanwhile the dilemma related to Paulinho remains. “In Brazil, they speak of a 18 million clause but at Inter it appears that the clause is only 15 million. With the sale of Coutinho, Inter will head towards Paulinho.”

The Mysterious Release Clause Of Paulinho

Some say 15 while others are certain it is 18. These are the figures that people have been talking about regarding Paulinho’s release clause. According to Sky Sport sources, Inter have certainty from Corinthians (basically Corinthians told Inter this) about the release clause to sign Paulinho: the midfielder will arrive with if a 15 million offer arrives, as opposed to about 18 million of what Brazilian sources are saying.

THE PUZZLE OF TWO INTER YOUNGSTERS

The Brazilian – Coutinho is going to Southampton or Liverpool?
By Monday, the result of this bidding war is needed. Paulinho awaits Inter’s movements.
The Argentinian – Alvarez stays. Waiting for sparks from him.
Only loan offers for Ricky who has never “exploded” at Inter. But with Torino..

Milan – “Paulinho is a very good player, he always attacks the box and scores a lot of goals. If he comes to Inter then it would be good for us. Coutinho is leaving? I would be sad but he must follow his path.” Juan Jesus talked to the microphones of Mediaset yesterday and he basically framed the picture very well the current situation at Inter: the sale of Coutinho is an inevitable sacrifice to try getting Paulinho, but it has become a race against time and by Monday, certainty must arrive from England. Coutinho wants to stay at Inter but if the circumstances do not allow him then he would prefer a return to Spain. However, running a football club is a business and best deals for the Brazilian are coming from England. Liverpool, the English club on top of Coutinho’s list, have yet to match the offer of 12-13 million proposed to Inter from Southampton (so far together with Aston Villa are the most concrete).

Paulinho training With 18-20 million, including the sale of Sneijder, Inter would make the climb to the top of Paulinho’s release clause (15 or 18 million?). The player continues to keep it low profile (“I am on vacation, but I am training to be ready. No, not for the transfer market: there is now the Paulistao”) but has already expressed his appreciation for Inter. The problem is that Corinthians continue to not showing any indications of openness. “At the moment – sporting director Roberto de Andrade told Calciomercato.it – Inter have not been in contact with us and we have not received offered from Italy or from Chelsea.” But in England they insist that the club of Abramovich will enter into the race for the Brazilian.

Alvarez Then we have Ricardo Alvarez. The story between Inter and the Argentinian has never blossomed. The 24 year-old was the young player that Inter invested the most money for in the past several years but he was a candidate to be sacrificed to raise cash for Paulinho. Too bad that no club is willing to buy him outright and the formula of a loan does not make sense for the Nerazzurri.

On loan no thanks Atletico Madrid of the former Inter player Diego Simeone tried it as did River Plate of Passarella. The club in Buenos Aires might consider taking the entire card but it is unlikely to reach demand of Inter which is eight million. Furthermore, Alvarez does not want to return home with the label of one who failed in Europe. That is why, unless of twists and turns in the last days of negotiations, Ricky will remain at Inter – where he arrived in 2011 for eight million euros – and will continue waiting for the sparks that this talent has never had. Now the following question must be asked: is Alvarez a lost player or one that can recover himself after knowing that he was given up by Inter?

Sparks only at Pinetina Because there are extenuating circumstances (the constant coaching changes, muscle injuries and knee surgery) but now more than ever, Ricky must help himself. His problem, in fact, is different from that of other young players who were affected in a negative way the effect of the San Siro. If the involution of a Jonathan is psychological, that of Ricky is different. He certainly is not afraid of playing his own game. Indeed, sometimes even too much of a mix between arrogance and indolence. There is not a lot of understanding on the field between him and his teammates, as a result, he always fails to show what he can do, the sparks, that he offers in training at Pinetina. Not getting included in the list of Europa League due to a knee surgery, the Argentinian is stopped at 11 appearances, of which only three as a starter.

And if tomorrow… Strama has always believed in the boy because the coach understands that Alvarez is unique in this team due to his ability of dribbling past the opponents but more importantly he can cover so many roles. Ricky can play as a midfielder – as he did at Velez and then with Gasperini -, trequartista, and winger on both flanks. It is precisely for these reasons, Alvarez can be a surprise weapon that Strama is going to use on Sunday night against Torino. The coach needs to adapt to a 4-2-4 formation played by Turin club and could use Alvarez in a 4-4-2 to extend the team like in the final minutes versus Roma. When he was last on the field, he gave Inter an entirely new look. We all want to see that sparks sooner rather than later. The real sparks.

Several Inter-Frankfurt Discussions For Sebastian Jung

Due to the usual complications in dealing with Atalanta for Ezequiel Schelotto, Inter could decide to give the Marko Livaja to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. Inter and the German clubs have spoken several times especially for the right back Sebastian Jung. The 22 year-old admitted yesterday to Sport 1 the presence of a clause (2.5 million), but stating that “in the end I will decide and I am doing very well at Eintracht. If the club and I get along then this clause is worth very little.”

Schelotto: “The Train Only Passes By A Few Times In Life”

Everything is stopped on Schelotto front even though that he continues posting on his Twitter pretty clear messages of what his desire is. “The train only passes a few times in life…,” he tweeted. But Atalanta are not giving in and they are insisting on undervalue the card of Livaja (to them around 1.5 and so Inter must add five more: difference between two clubs is at 1-2 million).

Bellomo Destined To Remain In Bari Until June But…

Inter and Bari continue keeping in touch to talk about Nicola Bellomo. The Italian playmaker seems destined to remain as a biancorosso until at least June although it is not excluded that Inter could push for his signing already this transfer window. To buy Bari’s card (Chievo own the other half), the rumored price tag is about two million euros.

Liverpool Coach: “One Or Two More Signings By The End Of The Month”

It was believed that they would have a big January transfer window but instead, Liverpool only have one signing so far and that is Daniel Sturridge. Brendan Rodgers’ club has been linked heavily to Philippe Coutinho and the coach’s desire is to close as soon as possible.

“We hope to do some more deals by the end of the month. The owners are doing well to support us. We know that we still one or two reinforcements and the club is doing everything possible to help. We will try otherwise we will have to review our strategy for the summer.”

Inter Increasing Offer For Correa

Estudiantes president closes the doors on a possible transfer of Joaquin Correa to Inter but that is not going to stop the Nerazzurri to make one extra effort to convince the Argentinian president. According To Sky Sport 24, the gap between offer and demand is there for the 1994-born midfielder but Inter are thinking of launching an increased offer. This is because Inter like him quote a lot. We’ll see.

Bye Cou, Agreement With Liverpool For 13 Million. All Out On Paulinho

Philippe Coutinho and Inter are far away for than ever at these hours. As reported by Sky Sport 24, confirming the news launched by Sky Sports (from England), the Brazilian (not available against Torino) is ready to go to Liverpool. The latest update is that there is an agreement between the Reds and the club of Massimo Moratti for a figure demanded by Inter which is 13 million euros. We still don’t have official announcements but this operation is ready to close and Coutinho is just a step away from his new adventure in England.

When the official announcement comes, Inter would then go all out for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. According to Sky, the operation with the Brazilian club will start as soon as Coutinho is sold. For this reason, Marco Branca is ready to go on a mission to Brazil and close the deal with Corinthians, of course after the sale of Coutinho and the OK from all parties at Inter for Paulinho. Make no mistake about it, this is a race against time seeing how we only have a few days until the end of January transfer window. Everything is set. All Moratti has to give is the OK for Branca’s flight to Brazil.

Strama: “Must Make Painful Sacrifices To Get Player Who Can Help The Team”

Andrea Stramaccioni really likes Paulinho. No, he is obsessed with the Brazilian even. Speaking in a press conference before the match tomorrow against Torino, the Inter coach makes a few comments regarding the situation around Coutinho and Paulinho.

“I use the word ‘painful’ because it would mean letting go of someone that I’m fond of and who started this project with us. It was the same with Wes. It ended the way it was supposed to end that’s fine. You have to make choices: if we think it will improve Inter, we’ll do it. If not, we won’t. And regardless of who we have here on 1 February, we’ll fight to the very end. Would it be better to sign a trequartista or a deep-lying playmaker? What’s ‘better’ depends on what you have and what there is going, there’s nothing ‘better’ in an abstract sense. This is the mid-season transfer window and if we can then we must improve Inter with players who are good enough to play for Inter.”

Gazzetta Confirms: “Liverpool-Coutinho Is Done”

The Gazzetta dello Sport confirms everything for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool.

“Agreement reached. Philippe Coutinho is going to Liverpool. The dream Paulinho returns to the thoughts and the projects of Massimo Moratti. The Reds have complied with the ultimatum of 48 hours given by Inter and raised the bid for the Brazilian trequartista. Everyone is happy because Liverpool are on top of Cou’s wish list. By beating the competition from Southampton, Coutinho will go to the Premier League wearing the shirt of the Reds. Now Branca will start the blitz on Paulinho, the Corinthians star who, for some time now, has been the dream of Inter management and the fans.”

Many Issues To Solve And Yet Little Time – It’s A Race Against Time For Paulinho

Coutinho to Liverpool is an operation that misses very little to complete. There is already an agreement between both clubs for 13 million. Inter, then, will focus everything on Paulinho who is the request of Andrea Stramaccioni.

“Marco Branca is ready to leave for Brazil to start the attack on the Brazilian midfielder. There is little time, missing only five days until the end of this window. Moratti has to give the OK to this mission which won’t be easy. It is a race against time with. Inter must also resolve all issues with the banks (who own part of Paulinho), must negotiate and all the bureaucracy stuff. Inter will try for all that by flying to Brazil to negotiate in person and looking to close by January 31. All out on Paulinho, mission can start,” reported by Gianluca Di Marzio.

Liverpool In Milan On Monday To Complete Cou’s Transfer

Monday will be an important day for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool and this is confirmed by transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla. By the beginning of next week, the leaders of Liverpool will be in Milan to put pen to paper on everything. Transfer fee has been agreed by Inter and Liverpool for 13 million and the feeling is that all will be completed by Monday.

There’s The Agreement, Inter Sign Paulino To A Three-Year Contract

Paulino, not Paulinho. As we are waiting for the Brazilian Paulinho, Inter have signed Paulino or more specifically Paulino de la Fuente, the 15 year-old striker of Bansander.

Today was the day that Pierluigi Casiraghi, head scout for Inter youth teams, was in Santander, Spain, to put pen to paper for the agreement with Bansander and the boy’s agent. An agreement that will tie Paulino to Inter for the next three years. In the afternoon, the official agreement was presented to club president Jose Manuel Castanedo and technical director Manuel Cantero. During this meeting, Casiraghi invited Bansander directors to visit Inter youth teams’ training facilities this summer.

Manuel Cantero talks about this agreement with Inter: “We talked about football throughout this meeting, also much about their youth system. We also set out to do some work together.” Meanwhile the player himself only focuses on the present: “I do not know if I will have time to celebrate this agreement. My friends are happy for me telling me that this opportunity does not happen to everyone.”

Gazzetta Journalist: “Southampton Not Giving Up On Coutinho”

Carlo Laudisa, Gazzetta dello Sport, confirms everything on the front of Philippe Coutinho without excluding the chance that Southampton might make another offer. “Liverpool will be in Milan on Monday for Coutinho. Inter are asking for 13 million and Southampton are not giving up.”

However, from the website of the paper, it is certain that Coutinho will go to Liverpool.

Atalanta Coach: “Will Schelotto Play? We’ll See In February”

The tug-of-war between Inter and Atalanta continues for Ezequiel Schelotto. There seems to be already an agreement between the player and Inter but with Atalanta, we are still missing a lot. During the press conference earlier today the coach of Atalanta, Stefano Colantuono, responded in a very cryptic play about the future of his winger: “Will he play? We’ll see in February.”

Coutinho To Have Medical On Monday In England

The acceleration of Liverpool seems to have beaten out competition from Southampton. As early as the beginning of next week, Philippe Coutinho will wear the shirt of the Reds this is the confirmation from the Daily Mail. According to the paper, on Monday, the Brazilian will be in England to have medical examinations despite the lack of work permit that the club is working on. But everything is done according to the English tabloid.

The curious thing here is that the paper said that Inter accepted a 8.5 million pounds (10 million euros) from Liverpool and not 13 million euros like sources in Italy suggested.

Olé: Ruben Botta Closer To Inter

Ruben Botta and Inter are getting closer to one another. The jewel of Tigre is liked a lot by Inter management and according to the Argentinian newspaper Olé, there are two options to bring him to Italy.

The first involves a payment of around two million dollars for Botta’s arrival immediately and play for Bologna (on loan). The second one is waiting for the player’s contract to be expired in June so that he can arrive on free transfer.

Castillo’s Agent In Milan Today, Will Listen To Inter

Agent of Nicolas Castillo, 18 year-old Chilean striker who plays for Universidad Catolica, is coming today in Milan. The striker is having a sensational U-20 South American tournament and as a result, many clubs have shown interest including Inter but there are also Juventus, Napoli, Standard Liege and other European clubs. It is believed that the agent will listen to Inter and make the best choice for the youngsters.

HERE’S THE MONEY FOR PAULINHO

Today, Liverpool will be in Milan: 13 million for Coutinho and Inter to blitz for Paulinho in Brazil.
Meeting between the Reds and Inter: once collected the right amount (and added to the 7.5 from Sneijder), the attack Corinthians will start.

Milan – Less than four. After the sale of Sneijder (7.5 million euros plus bonuses) and before the end of the transfer market in 96 hours, we have another sale on the horizon with Inter collecting a lot of money from Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho. Less than four days until January 31, the two transfer market men of Inter in Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio are ready to make the final sprint in order to give Stramaccioni a player that Inter have been following since last July: Paulinho.

Risk to avoid Tonight there is Inter-Torino but before that there is another match: Coutinho versus Paulinho, the match to be played at two tables. The sale of Cou and the acquisition of Pau, in the intentions of Inter, will have to be made practically at the same time to avoid a double risk: going to negotiate with Corinthians without Coutinho and thus “forced” to buy Paulinho; or not being able to close for Paulinho and find the team weakened rather than strengthened with the goal of making the Champions Leaugue next season.

Milan and Brazil
Today is an important day because it is expected that there is going to be a meeting, in Milan, between Inter and Liverpool. Also because the blitz by Inter technical director Marco Branca should start in the next few hours. Branca’s mission is to negotiate and close the deal which has been very well established in recent months together with sporting director Ausilio. Only after having a right offer in hand for the sale of Cou, the president Massimo Moratti will give the go ahead for Paulinho: if you don’t sell one, you’re not buying the other and if you are not sure the arrival of the midfielder, the trequartista does not leave.

Painful sale And Strama? He is very clear. This is the mid-season transfer window and if we can then we must improve Inter with players who are good enough to play for Inter.” Coutinho has evaluated the last two solutions: rekindle the relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, who coached him at Espanyol and today is the coach at Southampton (who offered 12 million); or wearing the shirt of a more prestigious Liverpool who are willing to drop 13 million euros, enough condition for a “painful sale.”

Paulinho, the price
Negotiations for Paulinho won’t be easy not because of the personal terms with the player (virtually reached) but more so because of all the commissions, bonuses and especially the release clause. Inter consider it to be 15 but in Brazl, sources are saying that the clause is higher now due to the splitting of the player’s card between Corinthians and Audax Sao Paulo, club owned by Gruop Pao de Acucar. In short, the final mission has just begun.

No Italian Offers For Inter’s Target Nicolas Castillo

Talking to TuttoJuve, the largest stockholder of Universidad de Chile Jose Yuraszeck talks about the future of Nicolas Castillo, the talented Chilean striker that is attracting the attention from Inter.

“Castillo is a great talent and he is doing very well. It is normal that important clubs have shown interest but official offers from Italy have not arrived. Can he go to Standard Liege for 3.5 million? Difficult, he is worth much more than that.”

Sky: Silvestre Stays And No Defensive Reinforcement This Transfer Window

Nothing is going to happen in terms of reinforcing the defense. The transfer market for Inter defense is blocked and it will remain as is despite the physical problems of Walter Samuel. According to Sky, Inter will not sign another defender this transfer window now that Matias Silvestre seems certain of a stay until the summer. The Argentinian defender is liked by Samp and there is also Napoli (although this option is fading). But now everything stops and Silvestre will stay at Inter.

Paventi: “Inter Need Someone Like Younès Belhanda”

Andrea Paventi is a Sky journalist that follows Inter this season and he talks about one of the many Inter’s objectives for the midfield Younès Belhanda.

“For January, it is definitely no but we’ll see in June. He is a player that Inter are missing. The club is thinking about something else but they are working behind the scene for the Moroccan midfielder.”

Sources in Italy believe that for his signature, Inter will have to spend around 12 million euros.

Veron: “Contact With Inter But We Are Not Selling Joaquin Correa”

Inter continue to be vigilant on Joaquin Correa although at this moment, Inter are not meeting the demand of Estudiantes who are asking 100 thousand euros for the loan and 1.8 million dollars to take 80% of his card. Juan Sebastian Veron, the new sporting director of the Argentinian club, confirms contacts with Inter but reiterates the club’s intention to keep the player: “For Joaquin Correa, we are in contact with Inter and also with Parma but for now, we have no intention of selling the player.”

Ricardo Alvarez The Next Victim For Schelotto’s Arrival?

Paulinho is the number one target at the moment but that does not mean Inter aren’t looking at other solutions. Many people are convinced that at the last moment, Ezequiel Schelotto will go to Inter. However, at this very moment, there are no steps forward. To ensure the Argentinian becomes an Inter player, selling Jonathan is needed. Flamengo have offered two million but the budget balance would be affected because Inter got the player for five. Another option is selling Alvarez. But for Ricardo, Atletico Madrid insist on a loan and River Plate are not offering enough.

The Future Of Marko Livaja Still Uncertain

The future of Marko Livaja is still a big unknown. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatian striker will only be sold if it means that Schelotto is coming. Atalanta and Inter have come to an agreement that one half of Marko Livaja is on the table but two clubs are still very far away economically. If Schelotto does not come, Marko Livaja will stay. With the many physical problems of Diego Milito and Samuele Longo staying at Espanyol, “Marko will only be sacrificed if it is really worth it,” said Strama.

Agreement Reached With Paulinho, Negotiations With Corinthians Continue

From its online edition, the Corriere dello Sport explains how things are for the operation of Paulinho.

“The margins in terms of time have been reduced. The transfer market closes on Thursday and not only that, Paulinho is a non-EU so everything must be fixed a couple of days in advance. With the player and his representatives, Inter have already reached an agreement.”

Agreement with the player is all fine and dandy but negotiating with Corinthians will not be easy.

Fenerbahce Vice President: “Confidence In Signing Younès Belhanda”

The future of Younes Belhanda perhaps is not going to be at Inter, the club that was suddenly linked to the Moroccan midfielder after statements from Montpellier president Nicollin. There is another team that has shown interested in the player and that is Fenerbahce. The Turkish club’s vice president Abdullah Kiğılı shows confidence at the end his club will sign Belhanda.

“We have an agreement with Belhanda. There are still a few details that need to be negotiated and to be discussed with Montpellier management but I think that soon we will have good news about this.”

Sky – Inter Will Try Until The End For Ezequiel Schelotto

If Paulinho is the number one transfer objective overall at Inter, Ezequiel Schelotto is the number one goal for the right wing. Inter want to sign the player but Atalanta have raised their requests. Negotiations will continue and both parties will keep on working until January 31. Inter will try even though that there is a stalemate right now. The gap between supply and demand is there.

Here Are Three Alternatives If Paulinho Mission Falls Through

Yes, Inter want Paulinho and there is no doubt about it. However, due to the complicated nature of negotiations (high transfer fee and lack of time), Inter already have in mind several names for the midfield. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, there are three alternatives if mission for Paulinho falls through. The first one is Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia who would only arrive at Inter on loan because they do not have any intention of paying the eight million asking fee for the Argentinian midfielder. Second is Radja Nainggolan but dealing with Massimo Cellino, Cagliari president, is anything but easy. Finally we have Zdravko Kuzmanovic, the low-cost idea of Stuttgart with whom, he has an expiring contract in June.

Meeting Branca-Raiola For Weiss And Salamon

Yesterday there was a meeting between Marco Branca and Mino Raiola. A friendly chat and it seems that they have spoken about the two transfer targets that Inter have: Vladimir Weiss and Bartozs Salamon. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, if negotiations for Schelotto stop definitively, here is the Slovakian that could arrive from Pescara to Inter immediately for Andrea Stramaccioni. For Salamon, however, talks are for June but Inter have been on his trail since last year.

Agent: “We Would Evaluate Offers For Nainggolan.” But The Player…

Radja Nainggolan has corrected the comments from his agent that he does not like. Yesterday, agent Daniel Lasaracina opened a transfer of his client to one of the top clubs in Serie A: “Napoli and Inter are certainly among the teams with the most interest. If an offer arrives, we would be more than ready to evaluate. Naples is a place that you cannot refuse in anyway.”

Important words, however, do not seem correspond to the position of Nainggolan. “The statements made by Lasaracina did not come from me. He just meant to say that he personally likes the two teams,” said the player on his Twitter account.

Inter Continue Working On Bellomo Front

The sprint of Inter for the Bari talent Nicola Bellomo is still going on. According to Mediaset, the Nerazzurri seem very serious about picking up the player’s half from Bari. On the agenda there is another meeting with the Biancorossi to talk about the purchase. However, it is likely that Inter will leave Bellomo at Bari until June.

No Green Light From Moratti For Paulinho Yet

These are decisive hours at Inter. Coutinho is moving towards saying goodbye while Inter will continue assessing Paulinho. Inter are close to realize the sale of Courinho to Liverpool for a figure around 12 million euros. Then, Inter will decide whether to go for Paulinho. Moratti has not yet given the green light for Branca to take a trip to Brazil. Inter president must give the OK for Paulinho. Strama insists and the club is evaluating..

Massimo Moratti: “We Have To Take Advantage Of Important Opportunities. Paulinho? He’s Costly”

Just before the match with Torino, Massimo Moratti spends a few minutes with the reporters with whom he discusses the transfer situation at Inter.

“There are important opportunities to take advantage of and sometimes for other players, it is an opportunity to have more space so I think for this reason for Coutinho, England could an important opportunity. Paulinho is costly? Of course…”

On the chances of seeing Mario Balotelli at Milan he concludes: “It doesn’t give me trouble.”

Moratti: “Paulinho? We’ll See Tomorrow. I’m Waiting For More Information”

Massimo Moratti once again updates us the latest on the situation surrounding Paulinho.

“We will see what happens tomorrow regarding Paulinho. It depends on the information coming from the other side of the world. Mudingayi? I am sorry for him. Transfer market? I cannot say too much about it but we will see in the next few days.”

Decisive Monday – Coutinho’s Medical With Liverpool, Moratti’s Definitive Answer For Paulinho

Screen-Shot-2013-01-27-at-8.11.43-PM.png

BYE BYE COUTINHO
PAULINHO, MISSING THE YES FROM MORATTI

Perhaps the medical example is already today with Liverpool.
Then Inter will decide whether to push for the midfielder.

Milan – Let’s put it this way: the table is set, there is still missing the definitive OK from the Great Chef. The Great Chef is Massimo Moratti and the yes or no to making an effort to sign Paulinho should arrive today once you have the certainty of the real cost of this operation. “Paulinho? – says the Inter boss – Of course he costs a lot and he is an important opportunity that we will evaluate in the coming days.” The logic, sporting wise (Serie A table and Champions League prospect), says that the events of Coutinho and Paulinho should be closely linked together but at this point it is possible that two operations are being assessed separately. Also because Corinthians, according to Brazilian sources, would like to postpone selling Paulinho until July. In short: the Great Chef is considering, deciding, and he cannot pay attention the voices “within” that hinder the opportunity of an immediate operation.

Cou for 12.5 Yesterday started the decisive contacts with the emissaries of Liverpool led by managing director Ian Ayre. The Reds men should still be in Milan today to define the transfer of Philippe Coutinho on the basis of 10 million pounds plus bonuses, so around 12.5 million euros. In England, they say that today the Brazilian could already have a medical for the Reds which is completely plausible since we are already on January 28 and all deals must take great quickness in deciding them. Coutinho, with the Reds, will probably sign a four-year deal. “There are important opportunities to be seized – says Moratti -, sometimes for other players may be possible to have more space and so I think that for Coutinho, England could be an important opportunity.” Bye bye Cou.

Reflection and figure At that point – but only with Coutinho surely is leaving – we will know the consent of Moratti on other operations. There are those in the club who believe that it is the top priority to save up for June and the money made from selling Sneijder for 7.5 million (plus bonuses) and the millions of pounds from Coutinho can be a good reinforcement economically for Inter to think big in the summer (Dzeko, Icardi…). However, the number one objective for this season can be the difference and that is making the Champions League. It is important to be in the top European competition because of the revenues and also the prestige that goes along with it. And a Paulinho more – coaches at Inter are convinced in the player – could help the race to 2nd-3rd place. So everything depends on the exact figure for the acquisition of Paulinho, a figure that today will be evaluated definitively by Moratti.

Inter Sent Scouts To Watch Future Target Mauro Icardi

From the studios of Sky Sport, Gianluca Di Marzio reveals interesting behind the scene information related to Mauro Icardi.

“Yesterday, Inter sent their scouts to Genoa to watch Mauro very closely as he is the one that Inter want for the future. Meanwhile, the talented striker will soon receive a call from the Argentinian national team. Therefore, it will be very difficult to see him in the shirt of Italy.”

Marco Branca Ready To Leave For Paulinho

The decisive hours are coming and today will be an important for us to better understand who Inter will deal with the situation of Paulinho. As reported by Sky Sport 24, Marco Branca is ready to leave at any moment to Brazil and close negotiations with Corinthians for Paulinho. Missing the yes from Massimo Moratti still but the answer from Inter president should also come today. We are in a full on sprint for Paulinho.

Chivu’s Injury To Force Inter Making A Defensive Acquisition?

With Walter Samuel is still on the sideline due to his injury, yesterday it was Cristian Chivu’s turn to get hurt. The Romanian player played only 28 minutes as Strama was forced to make a change. So the question needs to be asked: will Inter make one more signing for the defense with two key players out due to injury? Here is Andrea Stramaccioni on this topic:

“If the tests today confirm the serious injury of Chivu then it would become evident the two absences of key players. If we continue with a three-man defense, we are left with only three players in that role not counting Cambiasso. So we hope it is not serious.”

Defensive Emergency, Inter To Try Signing Marco Andreolli In January

The evening started so well for Cristian Chivu. The Inter defender scored a goal to break the deadlock, something that he had not done for almost two years, and had an overall positive performance until a huge setback. The Inter central defender had to surrender in the middle of the first half due to an injury and Inter are definitely concerned.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, if it is confirmed that the injury of Chivu is a serious one then Inter would start plan B which is to sign Andreolli and bring him to the city of Milan right away. The Italian defender grew up in Inter’s youth system and would be able to contribute right away. Chivu and Samuel are injured while Silvestre does not get playing time, perhaps it is time to see Marco Andreolli at Inter after all.

And So It Begins, Marco Branca Landed In Brazil To Negotiate For Paulinho

It seems like the yes from Massimo Moratti has arrived because according to the Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa, Marco Branca, this morning, has landed in Sao Paulo, Brazil to negotiate with Corinthians for their midfielder Paulinho. The Inter technical director will present an official offer to Corinthians management to hopefully close as soon as possible seeing how we only have a few more days until the end of January window. So here we are, at the final push for the long time transfer target of Inter.

Mudingayi Out For The Season, More Reinforcements In The Midfield To Come?

Very unfortunate news for Gaby Mudingayi. The Belgium midfielder has torn his Achilles tendon and is likely to be out for the season. Here is the full report on Inter official site.

“Gaby Mudingayi underwent tests at Pavia’s IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo today after being forced off the pitch in the 52nd minute of last night’s match between Inter and Torino with an injury. The exams, carried out under the supervision of Inter’s chief of medical staff Franco Combi, revealed that the midfielder has torn his Achilles tendon. ”

With the injury of Mudingayi, perhaps Inter will need to make one more signing, other than Paulinho, to strengthen the midfield.

Agent: “Inter, Make An Offer For Mauro Icardi”

Mauro Icardi as the heir of Diego Milito at Inter? Abian Morano, agent of the Sampdoria player, leaves all doors in an interview with Il Sussidiario.

“If Inter really want him then they will have to go to Samp to present a good offer then they must to talk with us. Certainly the Italian league is much more suitable for Mauro because in Spain, there is too much ball possession. Renewing with Sampdoria? We are not rushing. The boy is focusing doing well on the field and at the end of the season, we will evaluate everything because there are great clubs on him.”

Massimo Moratti: “Paulinho Doable If Conditions Allow Us To. Coutinho? Yes He Is Sold Because…”

Massimo Moratti has confirmed the latest news that talks have begun for Paulinho. In a quick interview outside of his offices, the Inter president announces that negotiations are underway.

“No, there are no news for Paulinho. Branca is in Brazil? Now it is 6 am in Brazil. However, deals will be made if there are conditions for allow us to do so. Under the conditions that I know about then it is possible, but if they have changed then no.”

Then the Inter president discusses Philippe Coutinho’s situation: “Everything is done for certain purposes. However, we did not sell him because we want to make money but because in some respects, even looking at the period that we are, we need more in other roles in this team than that of Coutinho regardless of his age. And this sale is not in contrast with our project. Another midfielder to replace Mudingayi? I got to say that I am very sorry for him, very unfortunate. Right now, replacing him is not something that I am worried about.”

Sky – Branca Still In Milan To Complete Cou’s Transfer

A different version is coming from Sky regarding the location of Marco Branca. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, “Marco Branca is in Milan to finalize the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool. At least for now, there is no trip to Brazil for Paulinho. Branca is located in Milan and Coutinho will go to Liverpool tonight. He will have a medical and then the transfer to England will be official.”

A different version than the Gazzetta dello Sport which is certain that Branca has left for Brazil. But Sky also believes that the departure of Branca should happen today to understand how things are in terms of economic conditions.

Liverpool Coach Rodgers Explains The Philosophy On Youngsters

Speaking about young players, Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool coach is waiting for the arrival of Philippe Coutinho and explains his philosophy: “We will try to give the young players experience, to make them understand what it means to play for Liverpool. Obviously, we also try to be competitive in order to win with these kids.”

Coutinho is expected to have a medical later tonight, then will sign a contract to officially become a Liverpool player.

Sport: “15% Of Icardi’s Transfer Will Go To Barcelona”

Mauro Icardi continues to shine with the shirt of Sampdoria. The Argentinian grew up in the academy of Barcelona and now has drawn attention even in Spain with people wondering if a return to Barcelona is possible.

“In the event of a future sale by Samp, Barca do not have any preferential right for the striker but the Spanish club will get 15% of from any deal that Samp are going to make. In Italy, Mauro Icardi is liked by many clubs such as Inter, Milan and Napoli. Even Monaco have come to offer six million which was rejected by Samp and also the player.”

Corinthians Director: “Inter Want Paulinho? Talk To Us First And Then Player”

Four days until the end of the January transfer window. After the sale of Coutinho (not official yet but basically official), Inter are ready to reinvest that money for the Corinthians midfielder Paulinho. At this time, the great mystery lies around the location of Branca is he in Brazil to negotiate for Paulinho or still is in Milan to complete transfer of Cou? To give us the latest update, FC Inter News has contacted Edu Gaspar, Corinthians sporting director.

There are talks of an Inter director in Sao Paulo to negotiate for Paulinho. Can you confirm this rumor?
“Absolutely not. We have not met anyone here.”

Are Inter pressing hard these days?
“Paulinho is liked by many clubs, not only Inter.”

Were there any movements made by Inter management?
“No, we have not yet received any official offer.”

Is Paulinho on the transfer market?
“If Inter want, they will have to talk to us first and then the player. But I repeat, I don’t know anything.”

Mariga Could Stay After Mudingayi’s Serious Injury

The injury of Mudingayi, torn Achilles tendon, could perhaps block selling MacDonald Mariga. Inter management, together with the coaching staff, will evaluate the best solution after this unfortunate event occurred: going back to the transfer market and look for a new midfielder or confirming the Kenyan at 100%? Due to the club’s financial status, perhaps the latter is a more likely response.

Corinthians Director: “Inter In Brazil? That Does Not Mean Deal Will Be Done”

Corinthians have admitted the interest from Inter for their player in Paulinho. According to the club sporting director Roberto de Andrade, “The interest from Inter for Paulinho is public. However, their possible mission in Brazil does not mean that this deal will be done.”

According to sources, the intention of Corinthians is to keep Paulinho in Brazil until July. Will Inter be able to offer an attractive enough offer to lure the midfielder to Milan in a few days?

Brescia President: “Bartosz Salamon Costs 8 Million”

Inter recently have been linked to the Polish and Brescia defender Bartosz Salamon, the one player that has the attention from pretty much all the big Italian clubs. To talk more about the talent is Brescia president Luigi Corioni who has fixed a price for his defender in an interview.

“Salamon, in my opinion, is worth eight million euros but people are waiting until the last minute to pay as little as possible. It is possible that he could go in a co-ownership deal, something that is very popular in Italy. The comparison with Baresi? Salamon has the potential to get here. He is a modern Baresi but still needs to improve. It is clear that the player’s dream is to play in a big club.”

Rodgers: “Contact With Inter For Coutinho But…”

Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers confirms, not that he needs to, constant contacts with Inter for Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian will be sold to the Reds but the coach still is still playing it close to the vest. “Yes, it is true that we are talking with Inter. But at the moment there are no news,” said Rodgers.

Coutinho is ready to have a medical and then will complete his move to the Premier League.

Inter Emmisary Is In Brazil For Paulinho, Not Branca

Inter are trying. Massimo Moratti describes Paulinho “possible if conditions remain to those that I knew about.” And now Inter management left Italy hours ago and an emissary of the club landed in Brazil this morning in Sao Paulo to negotiate for the midfielder. Not Marco Branca who remains in Milan to close the deal for Coutinho but the technical director is in contact with Brazil by phone. Time is ticking but Inter are making an attempt for Paulinho.

Moratti: “No News.” Branca: “Paulinho? Working On It”

Massimo Moratti, as he was leaving his offices in Saras, talked briefly to the Sky reporters waiting outside regarding two hot topics for today: Paulinho and Coutinho. “Paulinho and Coutinho? There is no news, there is no news. The transfer window is open until January 31st and so we will see what happens,” said the Inter president. Meanwhile Marco Branca, Inter technical director, when asked about Paulinho says that “we are working, we are working.”

Inter To Offer Silvestre For Icardi To Get First Option

Inter are a big admirer of Mauri Icardi, Sampdoria striker who has been doing very well so far this season. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, “Icardi has aroused the appetite of many clubs especially Inter. The Nerazzurri sent an emissary to observe and to guarantee that they will have first option, Inter are willing to offer Silvestre now.” It is very difficult for Silvestre to leave this window given the two injuries Chivu and Walter Samuel.

Agent: “Inter-Weiss, Nothing Concrete”

One of the main positions that Inter want to reinforce this transfer window is on the right wing. There are many names that have been linked to Moratti’s club recently like Schelotto and Jung. Another player in this list is Vladimir Weiss, Pescara winger, whose manager Mino Raiola reveals that there is no offer for his client. “There is nothing concrete between Inter and Weiss. I cannot say anymore than that at the moment,” said known agent. Milan are also interested in the player but talks of a transfer derby would be very premature.

Icardi: “I Have A Contract And Want To Do Well For Sampdoria”

Other than Paulinho, Mauro Icardi is by far the hottest name linked to Inter recently. Due to many positive performances in Serie A, Inter have identified him as a transfer target in June. Meanwhile, the player reveals his intention for the future.

“If a big club wants to acquire me then they will have to talk to my club. I have a contract here with Sampdoria until 2015 and I want to do well for the Blucerchiati.”

It’s Goodbye – Coutinho Landed In Liverpool, Medical Tomorrow

As Inter are waiting for news from Paulinho, the Nerazzurri have defined the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool. It is only a matter of time until Coutinho becomes the Reds player officially. The Brazilian, according to Sky, has landed in Liverpool and will have a medical with his new club tomorrow and then, he will officially sign for Liverpool and become their latest reinforcement from the transfer market.

Agent: “Paulinho Not Leaving.” Inter Not Surrender However

The words of Giuliano Bertolucci, agent of Paulinho, have been published by the Brazilian press. The agent announces very briefly but important words: “Paulinho is not leaving.” But Inter are not giving up. According to the Brazilian media, the emissary that Inter sent to Brazil is Roberto Calenda, agent and confidant of Inter for all negotiations in South America. Calenda is a close friend of Bertolucci and has already worked in the deal of bringing Juan Jesus to Inter. For this reason, he could facilitate deal.

Cassani Away From Inter, Closer To Genoa

Mattia Cassani, Fiorentina player, was one of many alternatives to Ezequiel Schelotto but it seems like that the Italian wing player is closer to Genoa according to Sky. Two clubs could close the deal in the next few hours.

Inter Have No Optimism For Paulinho Whose Cost Could Be 20 Million

Here is the latest on the Paulinho front from Sky.

“As of this morning, there is an emissary of Inter in Brazil which has the task of getting in touch with Corinthians. There was talk of a 15 million transfer fee, and then 20 million. Between tonight and tomorrow, this emissary of Inter will know how much Paulinho costs. Coutinho is already sold so the next few hours Moratti will know how much he has to spend for Paulinho and to give the go ahead. However, there is no optimism on the part of the club due to the lack of time.”

Longo Wants To Return To Inter Now

He seemed to destined to stay at Espanyol but according to Sky, Longo has changed his mind and wants to return to home, to Inter. The Italian striker, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, has asked Inter to terminate the loan and take him back to wear the black and blue shirt. If this happens, Livaja could be sold to Eintracht Frankfurt in negotiations for Jung, but for June.

PAULINHO IS IN BALANCE

For Inter, the price is not right. Now it is more no than yes.
Moratti: “The conditions that we know have changed? Then it is not doable.” Coutinho salutes.

Milan – Another day passed by, another day still without the yes or no. One day less to gift Stramaccioni Paulinho and one day more to raise the many concerns: as of last night, the chances of Paulinho coming are more no than yes. Massimo Moratti, at 19:55 yesterday, stated some very generic statements: “Paulinho and Coutinho? There are no news: the transfer market is open until January 31st.” Inter technical director Marco Branca then added “we are working on it,” but two things are certain: for Coutinho, it is truly a photo finish and only missing is the official announcement, for Paulinho instead something is not right. That something is the total price of the operation because Moratti said it early in the afternoon: “Negotiation will close if there are conditions that allow it to. For the moment, it is doable under the conditions that I know about but if they have changed, then no.” The deal is in balance.

Truth in 48 hours Why? Inter have always come to terms with the release clause of 15 million euros but between the commissions and other requests particularly from Pao de Acucar – which hold part of Paulinho’s card – the price could be increased up to 18 million. Sources in Brazil say it is 20 million and meanwhile yesterday Marco Tronchetti Provera, Inter board member, said things a bit differently: “I hope that the economical reasons can find a balance so that a great player like Paulinho can come to Inter on acceptable terms.” In any case, the transfer market for the Brazilian midfielder closes on… January 30th: to complete the majority of negotiations and then define the last details on January 31st, the last day.

Inter emissary
Paulinho, in the meantime, decided to intervene: “It will be me and only me to communicate any ongoing negotiations or offers.” Corinthians director Gaspar yesterday told FC Inter News that “there are no official offers.” The player agent, Bertolucci, then announced that “he is not leaving.” In Brazil, there is an Inter emissary working on the possible transfer and by this morning, he will notify Moratti on the actual transaction price. The Inter president still has doubts on whether the budget, after selling Coutinho and Sneijder, would him to spend. Oh and by the way, Corinthians would gladly keep the player until June.

Coutinho Yesterday was also the day of outgoing transfer for Philippe Coutinho who has signed for Liverpool for 10 million pounds plus bonuses, so nearly 12.5 million euros. The last few details were defined in the afternoon and now there will be a medical scheduled for today. The Reds management, led by managing director Ian Ayre, arrived in Milan to find precise agreement. And Cou? He made a few phone calls to his teammates with whom he promised that he will return the next few days to say goodbye to all. “Yes, but things get done for a reason and selling Coutinho is not done with the idea of cashing in but because, looking at the way things have developed recently, we have a greater need in different areas than Coutinho’s position, regardless of his age,” said Moratti.

What Happens If Paulinho Does Not Come?

The question has to be asked: what is going to happen if the club does not sign Paulinho? Alternatives are ready. The idea is Kuzmanovic whose agent has denied and canceled any link between his client and Inter. Then you have Biglia. The Anderlecht midfielder remains possible but only on loan. Third is the unconvincing option of Gago, currently playing for Valencia.

The fourth is an interesting one. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could look to bring back Rene Krhin. The 22 year-old Slovenian is co-owned by Inter and Bologna and he is the last minute idea for the midfield.

Inter Say No To Nainggolan Because Costs Too Much

It is a matter of cost. If Paulinho’s transfer fee is creating problems for Inter, then the same applies to Radja Nainggolan. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Cagliari midfielder is liked by both Moratti and Branca but “costs too much. For this reason, Inter will have to look at other players if negotiations for Paulinho collapse.”

Corinthians Coach: “Inter-Paulinho? Old Story. We Want To Keep The Player”

Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, or better known as Tite, is the coach of Corinthians. In an interview with FC Inter News, he talks about the rumors surrounding his player and Inter: “This is an old story, there is nothing new. However, I would say to them and to all that our intention is to keep quality players and for this reason, they will have to pay…”

Daily Mail: “Coutinho? 12 Million For An Unknown Player”

The Daily Mail’s online edition does not show too much enthusiasm for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool. The English newspaper, in fact, points out that “12 million spent for a player that is not known as a star. Who is Coutinho?”

And then, the paper posts a questions to its readers: “If Coutinho is so good as people say, why did Inter let him leave so easily?”

Moratti: “Paulinho Not Coming, More Likely In June”

Massimo Moratti closes the doors on the possibility of signing Paulinho. Outside of his office in Saras, the Inter president issued a statement that effectively puts an end to any negotiations for the Brazilian player.

“At this time it cannot be done, it is more likely that he is going to come in June. This is not so much an economic issue but for the player’s commitments in Brazil with Corinthians.”

Corinthians have postponed everything to the next window, this summer. Too complicated to convince the player to give up the chance to play in the upcoming Copa Libertadoers who wants a good show before saying goodbye definitively to this club. Therefore, Paulinho will probably wear the Inter shirt in June as confirmed by Moratti.

“Nothing news” on the front of Schelotto as hinted by the president. For the Atalanta winger, talks are still alive but the club in Bergamo remains firm on their position. Still need at least another midfielder for January after the serious injury of Mudingayi (out 5-6 months, out for season) and that midfielder will not be Paulinho.

New Atalanta-Inter Meeting For Schelotto

Inter want to hurry up and close for Ezequiel Schelotto. Today can be a decisive day as this deal will be decided in the next hours. As learned by FC Inter News, there will be a meeting to make a definitive offer to Atalanta this afternoon. Trying to reduce the economic gap and this new contact between these two clubs could be decisive. If some sort of an understanding/agreement is not reached, this situation will get more complicated. Tonight, after the meeting, we will have an answer.

Longo And Agent To Meet Espanyol To Discuss Future

According to sources in Spain, Samuele Longo will discuss his future with Espanyol management and does not know whether or not he will stay in Espanyol in January. Not only that the agent is also ready to have a chat with the club management as well. Despite all of this, Espanyol have raised the wall by stating that the player will stay at the service of Javi Aguirre.

Flamengo Waiting Inter’s Answer To Two-Million Offer For Jonathan

Inter continue working on the right wing player. Schelotto remains complicated and so the club is already thinking about the next window. The hypothesis of Jung remains alive and with Eintracht, the co-ownership of Livaja is a solution that could make this deal happen.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Jonathan’s future is in balance and uncertain. On the table is the two-million offer from Flamengo which are still waiting for an answer from Inter.

Sky – No Major Investment Now, Money Saved Up For Paulinho In June

Directly from Sky Sport 24, comes confirmation that signing Paulinho now cannot be done after the announcement of Moratti. But the idea is to sign the player in the summer and so there will not be any major investment now because the money will be saved up for June.

The Brazilian won’t move away from Corinthians now because he wants to play the last big tournament (Copa Libertadores) with his club to some sort of come out on top.

Alvarez’s Future Depends On… Yoann Gourcuff

Atletico Madrid are one of the many teams that want Ricardo Alvarez but only on loan with right to purchase, a formula that a selling club like Inter do not want. The Spanish club is also looking at Yoann Gourcuff as another solution for its midfield. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the club of former Inter player Diego Simeone could return to ask for Ricardo Alvarez if there are issues with negotiations for Gourcuff. Then perhaps they will be forced to sign the player on a permanent transfer. We’ll see…

Inter and Cesena Working On Vid Belec Deal

Inter and Cesena are working on two possible operations that involve two young players. We are now close to the official announcement of Yago Del Piero going to Cesena on loan. In the meantime, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Romagnoli have also set eyes on Inter goalkeeper Vid Belec. The Nerazzurri are ready to let the young keeper go if Inter were to find a new back up for Samir Handanovic.

Medical Completed, Liverpool-Coutinho Official Announcement Between Today And Tomorrow

Signed, sealed, and delivered. Philippe Coutinho is now (unofficially) a Liverpool player. The Brazilian completed the medical with his new club last hour and what missing is just the announcement. According to Ansa, either today or tomorrow, the departure of Coutinho will be officially realized. The figure that the Nerazzurri will make is about 10 million plus bonuses tied to performance.

Agent: “Rene Krhin Would Be Happy To Return To Inter”

Will Inter at the last minute decide to have Rene Krhin return back home? This is a hypothesis that has been going around for the last few hours. When asked about this, the player’s agent Marcel Kacinari says that “I do not know anything about his return to Inter. He has a contract with both clubs and he is finding himself well at Bologna and I have not had any contact with the Nerazzurri. He would be happy to return to Inter but the same can say about a stay with the Rossoblu. We are looking forward to understand the mind set of both clubs.”

Kacinari also touches briefly on the future of Vid Belec: “No news. Inter have not told me anything and he is happy to stay at Inter.”

Marco Branca: “Coutinho Is An Enormous Talent”

Philippe Coutinho is virtually a new Liverpool player despite the official announcement is still missing. Not a lot of people know about Coutinho especially in England and so the BBC, apparently, interviewed Inter technical director Marco Branca to find out what kind of player Coutinho is, here is what the director has to say: “Coutinho is truly a good player. He is only 20 years old and is an enormous talent.”

Mauro Icardi, Future Of Inter, Valued At 10 Million

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Mauro Icardi is the chosen one to be the future of Inter. The situation, however, remains difficult. Thanks to his recent performance, the player’s value has skyrocketed to about 10 million euros. But Inter want to make their first move for the gem of Sampdoria for this upcoming June. The player is currently making 60 thousand euros at the Genoa based club.

Sky – Mariga Could Stay At Inter But There Are Requests

With the injury of Gaby Mudingayi, the chances of MacDonald Mariga staying are increasing day by day. According to Sky, the Kenyan player is likely to stay at Inter but that does not mean that he does not have requests. As a matter of fact, there are two clubs that have shown interest recently in the midfielder: Chievo and Parma. Everything will be evaluated as this window is coming to a close in a couple of days.

FIFA Agent: “Atalanta Asking Too Much For Schelotto”

Speaking about the current saga of Ezequiel Schelotto, FIFA agent Giocondo Martorelli does not believe in Fiorentina as a real hypothesis for the Atalanta winger.

“I do not think that he can arrive at Fiorentina to tell you the truth. The Viola have the appeal and Florence is a beautiful place but the request of Atalanta is not low. In fact, what they want is a substantial figure,” said agent.

Paulinho: “I Love Corinthians And The Fans, I’m Staying To Win Together”

Paulinho is now no longer in the thoughts of Inter. After the statements by Moratti, the Corinthians midfielder has publicly announced that he only focuses on his club and that he wants to stay and win many more trophies.

“I have received many messages of affection from the fans and I admit, it was very emotional. I love Corinthians and the marvelous fans who have always supported me. Again, I thank all Corinthians supporters, you are fantastic. Together we will win. I cannot wait to get on the field training again,” said Paulinho.

Inter-Paulinho is officially over.

Inter Have Competition For Mauro Icardi: Chelsea

Two goals against Juve, four against Pescara and a whole lot of attention from all around Europe. Mauro Icardi, born in ’93, is a jewel that many teams are interested in. Inter follow him with great attention and he is a concrete target for June. However, watch out for Chelsea who are ready to make their moves to get the young striker also in June. There was a secret negotiation with Monaco but that never took off. Sampdoria are enjoying this as the big clubs are watching.

Inter Will Do Something For The Midfield. There’s A Secret Name

Gianluca Di Marizo, Sky transfer expert, reveals how Inter are planning their last few hours remaining in this transfer window. “The Nerazzurri, other than the likely return to negotiate for Schelotto, will do something in the midfield. This is the request of the coach Andrea Stramaccioni. Bellomo? He is surely a player that the club likes and an offer could arrive. However, I think there is a secret name.”

What is the secret name or is there one? We’ll find out in less than 48 hours.

After Duncan And Bianchetti, It’s Bessa’s Turn To Leave Inter

After Duncan and Bianchetti, there is another young Inter player who is on his way out of Inter on loan. According to Sky Sport 24, Daniel Bessa, who has not been used at all so far this season because of an injury that kept him out for the most part, is ready to leave Pinetina to go to Evian Thonon Gaillard Football Club currently playing in Ligue 1. We are waiting for the OK from the French club.

Agreement For Kuzmanovic In June On Free Transfer But Inter Want Him Now In January

Inter want Zdravko Kuzmanovic and they want him now. After the injury of Mudingayi, departure of Coutinho, and the waste of time on dealing for Paulinho, Inter are trying to get the 25 year-old Serbian midfielder now for Andrea Stramaccioni. Inter already have in hands an agreement to acquire the player in June for free but Massimo Moratti and company will make an attempt to have him in Milan playing for the black and blue now.

The player agent Naletilic is in Stuttgart to speak with the club. The price to acquire Kuzmanovic in January is a measly two million euros. At this time, however, the one obstacle is perhaps the desire of the player to have a high salary. But certainly, Inter are attempting to have him here in January with. There are Liverpool and Valencia who are interested in the player.

Inter And Atalanta Reopen Talk For Schelotto, Argentinian Closer To Inter

According to Sky, there are some steps forward regarding negotiations between Inter and Atalanta for Ezequiel Schelotto.

“Ezequiel Schelotto is now closer to Inter. Stramaccioni has asked for a right winger and with Atalanta, discussion has been reopened. The player wants to play for Inter and that new contact between both clubs will happen soon,” words from Di Marzio.

Inter Will Make Last-Minute Attempt To Sign Bellomo In January

Inter will make a decisive attempt to get Nicola Bellomo in January. The Bari midfielder has been linked to Inter all month and many believe the Milan based club is the favorite to sign the player. According to Sky, “Inter will make an offer to Bari for their half at the very last minutes. On the player there is also Chievo who also own the other half of the player.”

Corinthians Director: “Yes, Inter Made An Offer For Paulinho But We Rejected It”

Roberto de Andrade, Corinthians director, has closed the doors leading his player Paulinho to Inter. But at the same time, the director reveals that Inter did make an offer for the Brazilian midfielder today.

“Today we spoke with a representative sent by Inter. We sat down and listened to their proposal. Then we spoke with the player and by mutual agreement, we decided to refuse. Negotiations started and also ended today,” said Corinthians director.

New Offer For Schelotto: Marko Livaja, Jonathan And Primavera Player

Here is the latest on negotiations to bring Ezequiel Schelotto to Inter.

“Inter-Schelotto deal is still open. With Atalanta talks continue as Stramaccioni wants a right wing player. And for that, Inter are ready to discuss new players to be included in negotiations. The will of Moratti’s club is to include Jonathan and a Primavera player, in addition to Marko Livaja, for the Argentinian winger. However, Atalanta have yet to say yes. Negotiations continue…,” reported by Di Marzio.

Paulinho: “Offer From Inter Is A Lot Of Money But I Want To Win With Corinthians”

Paulinho has confirmed that it was him, together with Corinthians, that said no to an offer from Inter represented by emissary Roberto Calenda.

“There was an offer from Inter, it is true and it is a lot of money. I made my decision, together with my family, to remain with Corinthians and refuse the offer from Inter. I have to admit that Inter are a great club in Europe and it was a lot of money but there are times that you must focus on your career. Corinthians have made a lot of effort to keep me and so I decided to declined and remain in Brazil. Money is not the only thing and I still want to win at the Timao.”

Then Paulinho added a few statements regarding possible transfer to Inter in June: “If Inter come back with a concrete offer again in June then I would evaluate it all over again without any problems.”

BREAKING NEWS: Inter Have Practically Signed Ezequiel Schelotto

He is going to be Inter’s next signing for January. Inter and Atalanta have been in talks for such a long time but both teams were able to make any concrete steps towards an agreement. That is until now.

According to Sky, Ezequiel Schelotto is just a step away from Inter. Negotiations are practically closed and an agreement is extremely close. Schelotto, unless there are surprises, will play for Inter. Tomorrow, this operation will be defined with Atalanta for an agreement of 3.5 million euros plus half of Livaja. The last few details will be sorted out in the next 24 hours. Schelotti is very close to Inter.

Schelotto And The Dream Realized: “Very Happy”

It is not official but Inter are defining the last details to complete the transfer of Ezequiel Schelotto. The Argentinian winger will go to Inter for a fee of 3.5 million plus half of Marko Livaja. It is has been widely reported that Schelotto wants to play for Inter and there are many indications saying the same, just look at his Twitter page. Anway, speaking to Sport Italia, the player expresses his feeling by saying that “I am very happy to arrive at Inter.” He is ready to prove everyone that he is worthy of this shirt.

Movements In The Midfield: Inter Want Kuzmanovic Now And Make Contact For Biglia

Better late than never. Inter are making some concrete movements to improve its midfield department. The latest is that the Nerazzurri have an agreement to have Kuzmanovic on a free transfer in June but they will make an attempt to have him now in January. According to Sky, Inter are working closely with the player’s agent, who is in Germany, to convince Stuttgart to reach agreement with Inter for an immediate transfer.

That’s not all however “because there are concrete contacts at this time for Lucas Biglia, Anderlect midfielder. Operation has started and Inter are working. The club will need to understand how the Kuzmanovic deal will work out. Inter could get one of the two but with Mariga going to Genoa and the injury of Mudingayi, Moratti could perhaps get both.

Kuzmanovic And Biglia That’s Not All, Contact With Gago’s Representative

From the studios of Sport Italia, Inter have also contacted the representatives of Fernando Gago. Perhaps Moratti and company have realized that it is time to act after the Paulinho saga because Kuzmanovic and Biglia have also been contacted. The Serbian and Argentinian of Anderlecht are the top objectives for the midfield while Gago is only viewed as an alternative. Valencia want to sell its midfielder at a price of four million euros.

Serbian Sources: “Kuzmanovic Already Signed For Inter, Presentation On Thursday”

The news of Zdravko Kuzmanovic has also spread to Serbia. According to Aca Stoijanovic, a Serbian journalist, Kuzmanovic has already signed his contract with Inter. “Everything is signed and he will play for Inter. The midfielder will have his official presentation on Thursday. Good luck to him,” said Stoijanovic. Inter are believed to be working on this acquisition for January. The cost is about two million euros.

Mauro Icardi Sees Inter As Top Team To Sign For In June

There have already been multiple reports saying that Paulinho is just a delayed investment and that Inter will get the player in June. But as we wait for this saga to start again in a few months, Inter transfer market men have already thought about Mauro Icardi and he is the number one priority for the black and blue. Samp are seeking for an agreement to get the player a new contract but Mauro Icardi has a different idea. The Argentinian striker has put Inter at the top of his thoughts and ambitions: the offer must be reasonable but for the talented striker, Inter have precedence.

Schelotto Practically Inter Player, Will Sign Four-Year Contract

Last night was an important turning point for the signature of Ezequiel Schelotto. Inter and Atalanta had a decisive meeting for the Argentinian winger and as a result, the announcement should be made today.

Ezequiel Schelotto (which has not been on the field since January 6) is practically an Inter player and he will be for the next four years. The transfer fee is around 3.5 million euros plus half of Livaja. Inter have been able to negotiate down the initial requests from Atalanta which were from seven million to five million then to four. And the dinner last night has finally realized the dream of the Argentinian to play together with Zanetti, his idol, at Inter by saying simple words: “I am very happy.”

Inter Making Strong Push For Biglia

Not only Schelotto because Inter are working on its midfield department. For several times, Stramaccioni has asked for a player with different characteristics than the players that he already has. After the no from Paulinho, strategies perhaps will change and perhaps Inter will now look at a pure midfield director.

On the table of Inter is Gago but the Argentinian does not convince Inter and so the answer from the Nerazzurri, right now, is negative. Another midfielder that Inter are pushing strongly is Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia but the problem is that his club does not want to let him go on loan before June. But Inter will look to convince Anderlecht by sending a representative to watch Anderlecht-Genk today and perhaps there will be contact then.

Stuttgart Want 2.4 Million For Kuzmanovic Who Does Not Lack Interest From European Clubs

The rumors from the last few days about Zdravko Kuzmanovic are becoming more concrete. The former Fiorentina and current Stuttgart player has a contract that expires in June and sources say that he is ready to return to Italy. Stuttgart want 2.4 million and there is strong competition not only from Liverpool and Valencia but also from Fulham and Marseille. The player’s agent is in Stuttgart and Inter remain very much alive for the 25 year-old.

Inter To Send Bellomo On Loan To Catania For Lodi?

Here is the latest on Nicola Bellomo. The voices going around lately are that Inter would purchase the player now and then turn him to Catania on loan for Lodi, the player that president Pulvirenti basically has locked up at Catania. The fact is that Inter are speeding up negotiations for Bellomo and we will see if this acquisition would be made in January or June.

Last Minute Defensive Signing Still Possible

Do not exclude a possible last-minute signing of a central defender but that signing would have to be at a very low cost. Inter like Aleksandar Dragovic, 1991-born Austrian defender of Basel, but the chosen one is none other than Marco Andreolli. As an Inter youth product, he would be perfect for UEFA list. A possible proposal from Inter is a Primavera player to Chievo for the Italian defender.

With Marko Livaja Leaving, Samuele Longo Destined To Return To Inter

The rumor of Chelsea interested in Mauro Icardi is not confirmed. The Argentinian striker has a lot of interest coming from all around Europe including Inter. Meanwhile, Samuele Longo is destined to return to Inter because Marko Livaja is on his way out of the club. The Croatian striker is heading towards one of these two clubs: Atalanta or Eintracht Frankfurt.

Balotelli-Milan: Inter Did Not Want To Exercise Clause

Ah the famous clause in Balotelli’s contract. One that viewed by many as the anti-Milan clause that Inter inserted when Balotelli agreed to join Manchester City. According to Sky, at the moment that City and Milan came to an agreement, Inter were contacted as expected. The Nerazzurri, however, did not want to exercise the clause which would allow them to raise starting at the agreed fee of 20 million euros. A very easy response given the economic situation at Inter currently.

Double Signing Of Kuzmanovic And Biglia Can Be Done

As reported by Sky Sport 24, Inter are looking to strengthen the midfield after the no from Paulinho. The two hottest names right now are Lucas Biglia and Zdravko Kuzmanovic as both are considered affordable options. The Serbian midfielder wants out of Germany and his agent is in Stuttgart right now trying to convince the club to let him go in January. The value of Kuzmanovic is just around two million euros. For the Argentinian midfielder of Anderlecht, the Belgium club does not want to give him up on loan before June. However, Sky believes that a double signing could be done here as contacts with their respective clubs are very much alive.

Contacts Inter-Corinthians Will Continue In The Coming Days, Agreement With Paulinho On Personal Terms

It was not a goodbye but more of a “see you later.” This is the purpose of a phone call made yesterday afternoon between Massimo Moratti and Paulinho. A phone call confirms the end of negotiations but only momentarily because in the summer of 2013, everything remains wide wide open.

As reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Inter boss heard from the player directly to understand his intention and also the club. Paulinho will not leave in January for many reasons but the biggest one is the desire to stay at the team that he loves and one he wants to continue winning with. That desire was confirmed by the Paulinho in a press conference yesterday after the conversation that he had with the Inter president.

The player just does not want to come to Europe at mid season and even if he wanted to, Inter did not have the time required to do such major deal to make this thing happen anyway. For Inter, the Nerazzurri have doubts on spending almost all the money that they got from selling Sneijder and Coutinho.

But in all of this, there is already an economic agreement with Paulinho on the basis of 2.6 million euros plus bonuses per season. Contacts between Inter and Corinthians will continue in the next few days to close the deal with Paulinho’s club. Inter intend to continue negotiations in order to lock Paulinho down for June.

“Well then, it’s nearly official [smiling]. It’s a good signing, and it’s certainly one that we weren’t able to and didn’t need to make, since he’s already played for us. It’s a gamble on AC Milan’s part, so we’ll see.”

“I have the mandate to sell on the behalf of Inter. The Nerazzurri have made an offer but it is not simple to conclude everything within 24 hours. We will see what happens. But it must be said that Lazio, through another mediator, are also interested. The boy, however, wants Inter and I am in direct contact with Branca and Ausilio. We are working on these last days to complete this transfer. Again, we’ll see.”

Inter To Go On Impossible Mission For Croatian Talent Mateo Kovacic

Mission for a real talent. Inter have sent an emissary to Zagreb for the Croatian jewel in Mateo Kovacic, 18 years old, and the starlet of Dinamo Zagreb. Kovacic plays as a midfield director but costs at least 15 million and Dinamo do not want to sell so it is very difficult. But Inter will try…

Coutinho will be the fifth Brazilian to represent Liverpool after Fabio Aurelio, Diego Cavalieri, Doni and Lucas Leiva.

Fierce Competition For Kovacic From United, City, And Real Madrid

Mateo Kovavic is one of the biggest if not the biggest talent in all of Croatia. The 18 year-old midfielder is the latest name that has been linked to Inter over the last few hours and as reported, Inter have sent an emissary to Zagreb to understand the player’s situation. The competition is fierce however. We are talking about the two clubs in Manchester as well as Real Madrid. Economically, Inter have no chance against these clubs but Massimo Moratti will count on the good relationship with Diamo Zagreb over the past few years.

Mateo Kovacic Is Stramaccioni’s Second Choice After Paulinho

Mateo Kovacic is the new objective of Inter. The mission to Croatia has started and there is an emissary of Inter at work. Kovacic is the first choice of Stramaccioni in the midfield after Paulinho. Seeing how Paulinho operation is delayed until June, the Inter coach has asked the club to make an attempt for the 18 year-old Dinamo Zagreb talent in January. This deal will not be easy because Dinamo are asking for a lot of money, 15 million, and there is strong competition from other big clubs.

I am glad that they are finding space there. Benassi? I am happy for him. I hope he continues like this.”

Inter Could Turn Focus On Luca Cigarini But Atalanta Will Not Let Him Go

Inter could refocus on Luca Cigarini. The Italian midfielder is currently on loan at Atalanta from Napoli. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, do not exclude the possibility that Inter will take a look at Cigarini for its midfield now that Biglia seems to fade away. However, Tutto Mercato Web assures that the player is not on the market and if he was, Atalanta would not want to let him to under Inter’s condition of loan with right to co-own.

Meanwhile, the player’s agent Giovanni Bia has confirmed that this is a difficult task: “I know that the player is liked at Inter but I don’t think Atalanta would let him go in January. Inter are looking for a midfielder and so Cigarini is on their list but it is a very difficult operation. If Inter are still interested in June then we all can talk.”

Fiorentina Director: “Kuzmanovic, Great Signing”

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade applauds Inter for signing his former player in Zdravko Kuzmanovic. “Kuzmanovic is a great signing, compliments to Inter because they acquired the player for such little money and Zdravko is a very good player,” said Prade to Sky.

According to reliable sources from Sky, Inter have acquired Mateo Kovacic from Dinamo Zagreb for 11 million euros plus bonuses. This offer is liked a lot his club because it is close to the requested price of about 15 million.

Tomorrow, the player will arrive in Milan to complete this transfer to the Nerazzurri.

This Is Mateo Kovacic

A great talent for Inter’s present and future. Inter have closed negotiations for Mateo Kovacic who comes from Dinamo Zagreb as a result of the decisive blitz today in Croatia by agent Bozzo, an emissary of Inter. This is the figure: 11 million plus bonuses and the transfer is official. Kovacic is a midfielder with great quality. He was born as a trequartista with velvet feet and vision. With time he matures ad becomes more of a complete midfielder with characteristics of a midfield director. Certainly he can improve much more and the sky is the limit for him.

Kovacic is Croatian but he was born in Austria. Started playing for his hometown in Lask Linz when he was only six years old. At 13, he moved to Croatia, to Dinamo Zagreb and despite his young age of 18 years old, he has played 12 matches in the Champions League. For two years, he was the starter in the first team and scored five goals in the league, the first came from his debut when he was only at 16 years and 6 months old. Signals of a true talent which many consider to be the next Modric. Kovacic was wanted by big European clubs, two in Manchester and Real Madrid. Last year, Arsenal offered 8 million to try taking him away from Dinamo.

He is only 18 years old but already played on the big stage at the Santiago Bernabeu. Young, experience, talented, all signs of a baby champion. This is Mateo Kovacic, the new Inter signing.

Here’s The Fourth Signing In Less Than 24 Hours

A fourth signing in less than 24 hours anyone? Not only Schelotto, Kuzmanovic, and Kovacic, Inter are completing yet another signing of this January transfer window.

“Diego Laxalt, 1993-born Uruguayan talent, is coming from Defensor Sporting. Inter practically have the player in their hands after offering 2.75 million euros but now it all depends on the EU passport. Once it arrives, everything will close with a contract of four and a half years. However, the player’s agents have ensured that the passport will come in time.”

First Words Of Mateo Kovacic: “Just Cannot Refuse Inter”

He is ready for the new adventure at Inter, a club that he “cannot refuse.” Mateo Kovacic is the newest signing by Inter and he should be in Milan tomorrow for the final details to be completed. But meanwhile, the Croatian talent has released a statement regarding this “shock” move to Italy.

“It all happened so fast. I am in shock and do not know what to say. Dinamo is my home, my club and it is so hard to leave but Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world and one that simply I cannot refuse. Of course, everything is not done and I am waiting for my medical exams but I believe it will be just a formality.”

Inter To Decide: Laxalt Now Or In June

Inter do not stop. After Schelotto, Kuzmanovic, and Kovacic, according to Alfredo Pedulla from Sport Italia, Inter management has closed negotiations for Laxalt, Defensor Sporting midfielder.

“Inter have closed these minutes for Laxalt. It is an operation of about 2.3 million euros and now the Nerzzurri will decide if they want to bring him to Milan now or in June,” said Pedulla.

Agent: “Inter-Bellomo, Not Now"

It was not meant to be at least in January. According to agent Davide Lippi, Nicola Bellomo is not leaving in January.

“He is not leaving until June. For his growing process, it is important to finish the season with Bari and then, we will see what team is truly interested in acquiring him,” said Lippi to Mondo Pallone.

Boban: “Kovacic Has Enormous Potential And Can Be Better Than Me”

Zvonimir Boban analyzes the situation of Mateo Kovacic, the new signing of Inter and one that Boban knows very well.

“The boy has qualities to be even better than me. He is an incredibly serious professional for his age. Kovacic is complete, was not born as a midfield director but he is playing that role now. He is an all-around talent that can continue to grow and has enormous potential. I did not expect this at least not until this afternoon. It was a surprise. Inter did very well to sign him. I think he is perfect in a 3-5-2 because can play as an attacking midfielder or a director. He also sees the game as a playmaker too.”

Sky: Inter Use Paulinho Money To Buy Kovacic

Where did we get 15 million euros from? And to offer that to a 18 year-old? This is all madness. According to Sky transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, that money is saved up for Paulinho. “Andrea Stramaccioni pushed very hard to sign Kovacic. Inter decided to spend the money saved up for Paulinho to make this investment,” said Di Marzio.

The main goal of Inter this month has always been signing a quality midfielder and many believe that Inter have exactly that in Mateo Kovacic.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic: “Inter, Great Opportunity That I Want To Take Advantage Of”

Zdravko Kuzmanovic is the new Inter midfielder. The player has his past at Fiorentina and is only 25 years old. Kuzmanovic comes to Inter at a transfer fee of just over one million but he has all the characteristics needed to show that Inter made a great deal to sign him.

“I received offers from many teams but when I heard about Inter, I asked my agent Marko to make the deal right away. For me, this is very emotional because Inter are a great club. An incredible chance for my career that I tend to take advantage of,” Kuzmanovic talks exclusively to FC Inter News.

Have you discussed this with Stankovic?

“Unfortunately, I have not had the time to do so. But Deki is a friend and I am sure that he will give me a hand to get to know the dressing room quickly.”

Inter have formalized the signing of Kovacic. What can you say about this young man?

“I do not follow the Croatian league but as far as I can tell, he is a great player and can contribute greatly right away.”

Many reinforcements have arrived in this transfer window.

“We are a great team and on par with others. We can chase Juventus until mathematically we cannot anymore. I believe in this group and this coach.”

Stramaccioni wanted you a lot. How important is it for a player to know that the coach has confidence in you?

“Very important. As a matter of fact, I cannot wait to be available at his service immediately.”

People said that Inter needed a quality midfielder. How do you describe yourself?

“I am strong physically and do a lot of running. I can help this midfield right away, I am in the right conditions to play.”

Corriere dello Sport: Number 10 Shirt To Mateo Kovacic

Mateo Kovacic is officially an Inter player. As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the young Croatian talent will take the number 10 shirt left behind by Wesley Sneijder. Kovacic was acquired for a fee of 11 million plus 4 more in bonuses. The newspaper also confirms the arrival of Schelotto and Kuzmanovic.

Uruguayan Sources: “Laxalt Has Signed For Inter”

It was a duel between Inter and Lazio for Diego Laxalt for the last few hours and according to Uruguayan sources, the player has signed for Inter. The signature for a contract until 2017 arrived in Mendoza where Laxalt is playing with his national team in the U-20 South American championship. There was talk of him staying at Defensor Sporting until June but this hypothesis is fading away. The player will arrive to Inter right away when he is done his current commitment with the national team.

Other than a huge price tag for a 18 year-old, Inter also had to beat out strong competition from all major leagues to get Kovacic’s signature. According to Alfredo Pedulla, “He was born in 1994 and is considered to be the new Modric. This is a huge operation, very expensive: a base of at least 10 million, with bonuses, it could be up to 15 million. Kovacic, some time ago, was followed by Juventus and liked by the most prestigious clubs in England. Inter beat all competition.”

Croatians: “Kovacic, Sensational Signing By Inter”

In Croatia people are convinced: Inter have made a sensational signing in Mateo Kovacic. “The heir of Modric has gone to Inter, a unite talent. The boy will take place of Sneijder of whom, he has flashes of similar quality. A real gem in football.” Kovacic is one of the most talented and sought after youngsters in all of Europe if not the world with club likes City, United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid on him.

Latest On Backup Goalkeeper And Andreolli

Inter will try until the last minute to see if the conditions are right for them to sign a backup goalkeeper for Samir Handanovic. The Nerazzurri have booked Carrizo for some time now and the Lazio keeper will come in June but Inter will see if there is a possibility to bring him to Milan right away.

Regarding a central defender, rumors surrounding Chievo defender Marco Andreolli have faded away at least in January. With Silvestre staying, Andreolli will go to Inter in June on a free transfer but not now.

Sky: Inter Followed Mateo Kovacic For Two Years

Is Mateo Kovacic a panic buy by Inter especially after Paulinho decided to stay in Brazil? Well, according to Sky journalist, Inter had followed this young player for two years until making it official yesterday. “Inter followed the player for two years but Stramaccioni made decisive push to take him,” said Di Marzio.

No Loan For Livaja, Staying At Atalanta

According to Sky, Marko Livaja, whose half is included in the deal to bring Schelotto to Inter, will stay and play for Atalanta. The Croatian striker is not going to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan as voices suggested over the past few weeks. With the signature arrived yesterday, Marko Livaja can now be considered new Atalanta player.

Kovacic Landed In Milan, Will Have Medical And Sign Contract Shortly

Mateo Kovacic is in Milan to start his new adventure in the black and blue shirt of Inter. The young and very talented Croatian has arrived in Italy from Zagreb. Today, the player will have medical exams and then will sign a contract. The first day as an Inter player has begun for Kovavic.

OFFICIAL: Mariga On Loan To Parma

Dinamo Zagreb President On Kovacic’s Salary

Mateo Kovacic was sold to Inter for 11 million euros plus 4 more in potential bonuses which means that the potential figure could be up to 15 million. But what about the player’s salary? Here is Zdravko Mamic on all figures in this negotiations.

“It is a deal of 15 million euros and Kovacic will sign a contract with the famous Milanese club for 4.5 years. In that period, the player will earn 10 million euros net. This offer came in the last hours of the transfer market and we could not refuse,” said Mamic.

Mateo Kovacic Has Signed Contract And Then: “Forza Inter”

Moments ago, Kovacic has signed a contract that will tie him at Inter until 2017. The Croatian was in Inter headquarters to sign contract and now will wait for his medical. To the fans he said “FORZA INTER” proudly. The player is clearly very excited to be here and is ready to repay the Inter who made a big investment in him.

Dinamo President: “Inter Are Crazy For Mateo Kovacic”

Inter wanted the Mateo Kovacic at call costs (well, maybe not at all costs but they really wanted him). According to the club president Zdravko Mamic, “the emissary of Inter arrived at 17:30 and right away, he showed that Inter are crazy for Kovacic. During negotiations, Stramaccioni called to ask yes or no ten times and then came Moratti in a video conference.”

Agent: “Laxalt Is Inter Player But…”

The last obstacle is just too big for January. Agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito has confirmed the transfer of Diego Laxalt to Inter but only in the summer.

“The figures of agreement are those from the newspaper. Laxalt is an Inter player and he has signed a pre-agreement for the summer. His transfer will be official when July 1st comes around because there are some minor bureaucratic problems. But Inter have beaten Roma and Lazio like I said yesterday.”

Meanwhile, Lazio are not giving up and not convinced that everything is a done deal with Inter. Speaking to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio sporting director Igli Tare says that “we are not convinced of the signature with Inter.”

OFFICIAL: Zdravko Kuzmanovic Signs For Inter

The official website of Stuttgart has announced officially the transfer of Zdravko Kuzmanovic to Inter.

“The two clubs have decided to not disclose the figures of this deal,” read the statement. “Zdravko has done so much in these three and a half years with us. We have received an offer from Serie A and for him, it has always his first choice to return. We wish him the best at Inter,” Fredi Bobic comments on the transfer.

Schelotto: “I Will Show Why Inter Brought Me Here”

Speaking to Sky, Ezequiel Schelotto discusses his future at Inter.

“Inter are a dream come true and coming here is the best thing possible. I will be available to the coach and contribute to our objectives. It was a great year and a half at Atalanta and I will never forget that family. I am here with many champions to lend a hand and make myself available to Stramaccioni. The road ahead is long and I will show why Inter brought me here. Of course the objective is getting to the preliminary round of the Champions League so at the end of the season, we will see how things are. Cutting my hair in case of a title? No I am not and they will keep growing like this (laughs). We’ll see in a few months.”

Sky: No Inter Return For Samuele Longo

We knew that it would be difficult for Samuele Longo to return to Inter in this transfer window. With the departure of Marko Livaja to Atalanta, many believed that Inter could recall Samuele Longo from loan. However, it seems Espanyol are resisting Longo’s possible departure and according to Sky, Samuele Longo is staying at Espanyol and will not come back to Inter.

Inter Signed Carrizo As Vice-Handanovic

Juan Pablo Carrizo is coming now and he is the latest signing of Inter in this transfer window. Carrizo and Inter have always linked together over the past few weeks but the question was: is he coming now or June? Well, we have an answer to that today. The former Lazio goalkeeper will be available to Andrea Stramaccioni now. To Lazio is a fee of about 250 thousand euros.

Kovacic: “I’ll Do Anything To Make The Inter Fans Happy”

Mateo Kovacic has completed his medical and now is officially an Inter player. “Inter are a dream come true. I do not know how to explain it and I can only say that I have found an incredible reality. I will do everything to make the Nerazzurri fans happy.”

Kovacic: “I Will Give My Best, I Want To Be Here For A Long Time”

The newest Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic has released a few statements in his first ever interview with Inter Channel.

Last night you were in Bosnia then traveled in a car for 400 kilometers and finally took a plan to come to Inter. A dream comes true?

“Yes, it was all very quick. I was training with Dinamo and my coach told me that I am going to play for Inter. I responded: ‘Seriously?’ To me, this is a dream and I cannot explain how I feel at the moment. I am very happy to be here because Inter are a great club and I will give my best.”

What do Inter mean to you?

“Inter won so many trophies when I was just a child. Inter mean a lot to me: one of the biggest clubs in Europe and in Italy. I am happy to be part of a team like this and I hope to stay here for a long time.”

What players at Inter that you like the most?

“There are great players here. I like Cassano and Guarin a lot but I hope that I can contribute to win the league.”

In what position do you prefer to be on the field?

“I like playing in the midfield.”

The fans are very happy to have you here, what do you think you can give them?

“First of all, I would like to thank all of them because I come here and hear that they are very happy for my arrival at Inter. I can only thank them and hope to meet them soon.”

Beppe Bozzo: “This Is How Inter Signed Kovacic”

Speaking to Sky Sport 24, agent of Cassano and an Inter emissary Beppe Bozzo talks about his mission to Croatia to sign Mateo Kovacic.

“Inter wanted to make the signing and I facilitated this knowledge with Dinamo. Negotiation was done in one hour and a half. Did Strama call many times during negotiation? He really likes the boy and there were many clubs on him. With a blitz in Croatia, we were able to anticipate all and there was an agreement. A shock? It was a challenge to get him but Inter directors see the good in him,” said Bozzo.

Chievo Director: “Andreolli Did Not Have Requests”

Marco Andreolli’s future is at Inter but just not now. Perhaps the two factors that did not allow the Nerazzurri to acquire their former youth player are Silvestre’s stay at Inter and Chivu’s injury is not serious. Chievo sporting director, Giovanni Sartori, comments that Marco Andreolli is not going to leave because there are no requests. “Andreolli did not have any requests and so he will stay with us until contract expires,” said Sartori. The player is destined to move to Inter in June on a free transfer.

Bellomo’s Agent: “Inter, Why Kovacic?”

Strong words coming from Nicola Bellomo’s agent, Davide Lippi, who says that Inter started to negotiate then stopped and finally invest big money on Mateo Kovacic.

“I do not blame the Italian clubs but in a situation of laws that prevents many clubs to do their transfer market. There are clubs like Bari which are living by selling their players but a lot of the money went abroad. Kovacic will be a great player but they spent a lot of money on a foreigner and I am not saying this because I represent Nicola Bellomo,” said Lippi.

Massimo Moratti: “Kovacic Is A Special Special Player”

Massimo Moratti, Inter president, discusses the latest signings for Inter to Sky.

“We signed those that we think could be useful to the way we play. I really like Kovaic because he is a special player. Strong, young, has good techniques and is part of the Inter project. The boy is very happy to be here and I have met him. We talked about the usual things but it is nice to have the same objectives (laughs). Kovacic is a complete player from all points of view. He has elegance and is interesting to watch. A special player, there will be something new, something especial. Football is nice because you see something different.”

Then the president also talks about Schelotto and Kuzmanovic. “Schelotto represents perfectly what Stramaccioni wanted on the wing while Kuzmanovic has experience but he is young. Third place is closer? No, first… (laughs).”

S.S. Lazio have announced the agreement to send Juan Pablo Carrizo on loan to Inter. The Argentinian will serve as a second goalkeeper to Samir Handanovic due to a major shoulder injury happened to Luca Castellazzi. The Rome based newspaper believes that Moratti does not want the Brazilian midfielder anymore and will work on other objectives in the summer.

Nicola Bellomo’s Agent Nervous As Inter Prefer Kovacic

According to Sky, agent of Nicola Bellomo, Davide Lippi, is very nervous at these minutes. The reason is because of the big investment by Inter on a younger, more talented and much more proven player in Mateo Kovacic. Perhaps Davide Lippi did not take well the clear preference in the Croatian player instead of Bari midfielder.

FIFA Agent Federico Tomada: “Never Thought Kovacic Would Land In Italy, Amazing Signing By Inter”

Federico Tomada, FIFA agent and one that knows Croatian football very well, praises Inter for the purchase of Mateo Kovacic and calls it an amazing deal for one simple reason: “I never thought this young talent to come to Italy as I expected Kovacic to land in Spain or England. Inter have got the best talent in Croatia and one of the best young players in the world. In perspective, this young man can become the best talent in Serie A, more than El Shaaraway.”

On his role Tomada adds: “He is a kid that can play all the roles in the midfield. He has great vision of the game, ability to shoot outside and personality. Despite his young age of just 18 years old, Kovacic can make a real difference at Inter.”

Lastly, Tomada sends a message to the fans: “We must expect some average performances at first given that in Italy, football is played with a different rhythm and that there is more pressure. But Inter did very well to get him: Stramaccioni is one that focuses on young players.”

Defensor Sporting President: “Diego Laxalt Will Become Inter Player”

Despite the strong resistance from Lazio as well as Benfica, the marriage between Inter and Diego Laxalt will happen. Inter management was able to beat competition especially the Biancocelesti at the last minute thanks to the will of the player which is playing for Inter.

Reports say that the midfielder has already signed a pre-contract with Inter for five years but due to the lack of passport, which still has not arrived, the transfer of Laxalt will be delayed until June. There is no need to hurry. Maybe the player will arrive in Italy a little bit earlier than June just to meet his new involvement and become familiar with his new home. What missing is very little and there are some documents Defensor Sporting, his club, must sign. Both parties did try to make it in time though as Defensor Sporting were in Italy yesterday but it was not meant to be.

Here is the confirmation from Dante Prato, president of the Uruguayan club: “We are at the final details, just little things to polish but this deal will go through. Laxalt’s transfer will be an outright purchase.”

Laxalt meanwhile is playing for Uruguayan in the U-20 South American tournament. That is the present. The future? It is at Inter.
