DESTRO TO INTER CAN BE DONE WITH KUCKA-LONGO PLUS CASH

Yesterday meeting between Branca and Preziosi: the Slovak and the young striker are co-owned by both clubs. With 9 million to Genoa, things can close?
Napoli, dinner with mystery. “Hurray Lavezzi.” Is it a sign of farewell?
De Laurentiis toasted the striker who was hailed by the fans, everything seemed like a valediction.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail writes Lucas will accept offer of Inter.
For the midfield, De Jong in pole but Inter are checking Borja Valero, the midfield director of Villareal.
Talks surround Maicon who is linked to Kolarov.

Milan – There was a meeting yesterday as expected for some time. Next week, after mutual reflections by both clubs, there will be decisive acceleration to close everything. Inter technical director Marco Branca and Genoa President Enrico Preziosi have laid the first foundation for negotiations involving Mattia Destro, atypical striker (very dynamic) with great personality but he is only 21 years old. This operation is not easy but this contact between both parties have certified what was reported weeks ago: Inter want Destro again. The Italian striker was at one time an Inter player but now the Nerazzurri must find a way to recapture him with tricks and counterparts.

Vice-Milito Mattia – a brand new Azzurro and it is very possible that he will be elected for the next European competition – is divided between Genoa and Siena by virtue of co-ownership which will soon be resolved in the favor of the Liguria club. For this reason, the first to be contacted must be Genoa President Enrico Preziosi and Inter did just that. Yesterday Inter have officially asked for the player. Let’s recall that Destro ended up at Genoa in the deal that brought Inter Andrea Ranocchia. Stramaccioni the other day described him as “a player who has demonstrated the ability to play in a difficult league like ours.” Moral: Mattia Destro is the vice-Milito with a consequent sale of Giampaolo Pazzini, the sale which we will discuss more later.

Kucka, Longo and… So how are Inter going to get talented striker? Kucka, the player that Inter paid 7 million euros for half of him, could once again belong to the Rossoblu in a Destro-package. Then watch out for Samuele Longo, the current Inter central forward which made his debut during the last league game in Rome against Lazio. He is also co-owned between Inter and Genoa and his contractual status could become a loan deal to Genoa. But there is a third part: cash. Preziosi values the player at 20 million but for Inter, his value is at 15. Considering the involvement of Kucka and Longo, 8-9 million would be enough. This deal is just at the very beginning but it is more possible now because the player wants Inter and vice versa.

Pazzo to leave? At this point, it is clear that Giampaolo Pazzini (the current vice-Milito has already lost a spot with Italy) would be hard to accept the arrival of another central striker. Important proposals for Pazzini are not lacking in Italy as well as abroad. Napoli could ask for him in a Lavezzi-Tango. PSG’s Ancelotti is also interested as he already wanted the Italian striker during his days at Chelsea. Then there is Lazio as well. In short, Destro has already taken Pazzini’s spot in the Italian national team will he do the same at Inter? Things will go slowly but we’ll see.

Chapter Lavezzi Another striker who could be on his way to Inter is Ezequiel Lavezzi. The whistles and jeers on Sunday have become a chorus of hope. “Pocho, bring us the Cup,” shouted the approximately 150 fans stationed outside the restaurant where there was the usual end of the year dinner. Lavezzi was last to arrive but many were there just for him. “Stay with us” was the most popular chant of the evening. The atmosphere was much more calmer than the one at the San Paolo Sunday evening. During the dinner, De Laurentiis was caught by cameras uttering the phase of doubtful interpretation towards the Argentinian: “Long Live Lavezzi!” That was said at the time of toast. A toast which tasted like a goodbye. Lavezzi’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, will return to Italy this weekend and with him offers from Inter and Paris Saint Germain will be evaluated.

Alternatives Inter’s notebooks have priorities and alternatives. As the Lavezzi deal is becoming more concrete, Inter are also looking at a few midfielders. Nigel De Jong (Manchester City) remains the ideal man due to his experience and strength but here also appears Borja Valero, 27 years old, the man of Villareal that just got relegated. And perhaps because of this fall, the request of the Yellow Submarine could soften: 7-8 million. Borja Valero is the alternative of Nigel De Jong.

Maicon, Kolarov New rumors arriving that Mancini’s Manchester City could ask for Maicon in the deal for De Jong. That’s the first option. The second is for Kolarov. Just rumors. In all of this, there is even a track leading to Papu Gomez: the player is followed very closely by Vincenzo Montella but Inter and his agent are already talking. “Inter are very interested,” said Leo Rodriguez to Itasportpress. Marco Branca could speed up the situation in favor of Stramaccioni. Lastly we have Lucas. The Daily Mail wrote yesterday: “Forget Lucas, he will go to Inter.” According to the newspaper, Inter have already made an offer to Sao Paulo. The last piece of news concerns Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio. Inter will renew his contract for another four years and it could happen in just a few hours.

***

From the studios of Sky, Fabrizio Cometti, a transfer market expert, sums up the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi.

“It seems that Pocho wants to leave, to try something new. Now it is premature to give certainty on the future of the Argentinian as Bigon has confirmed that the negotiations are still at the early beginning. Surely Lavezzi likes the city of Milan very much as he often spends time here with his friends. The Argentinian also prefers the project that Inter have, as well as its coach and the environment. The clause is fixed but like always you can negotiate the amount.”

***

The future of Diego Forlan could point towards Brazil but not necessarily to Atletico Mineiro. Alexandre Kalil, the club’s president, admits that it is not going to be easy. “We are working to acquire Forlan and we are willing to spend to satisfy the player but this is not going to be an easy operation,” said Kalil who has also revealed the reason for this difficulty: the competition. “It is true there are other Brazilian clubs that are interested in Forlan but we have the advantage because we have met with both of his father and brother.”

***

Diego Forlan has once again reiterated that he wants to stay at Inter. Here is what Forlan said to an Uruguayan radio station:

“I want to stay at Inter, my transfer to Brazil is only a rumor. I have a contract at Inter and I repeat: I want to stay. It was a strange year for everyone but I am finding myself comfortable in Europe and have no plans to leave it yet. At Inter I have found many friends like Samuel, Cambiasso and Zantti. This Inter group is fantastic. I also want to play with Diego Milito because at Independiente, I was able to build a great friendship with his brother Gabriel. Things did not go well this year and we changed coaches. But I am optimistic for the future.”

***

To the pages of Calcionapoli24.it, Diego Armando Maradona, Napoli legend, discusses transfer market rumors surrounding Ezequiel Lavezzi. “If I were De Laurentiis, I would make the sale because the cycle of Pocho is over. He cannot do more than what he has done, he has given everything. If Inter offer a lot of cash then Napoli must sell the player. Inter must pay like they did with Ronaldo. Money is not certainly lacking with Moratti.”

***

Transfer market rumors have been revealed by the Brazilian newspaper Globoesporte. It appears that despite denials, negotiations to bring Paulinho to Inter could take a positive turn. Currently, the Brazilian club does not want to divert attention from Copa Libertadores but at the end of this competition, all negotiations would be evaluated. And Inter are in clear advantage.

***

Mattia Destro
is ready to make a big leap to a big club. Genoa sporting director, Stefano Capozucca, in an interview with Radio Mana Mana, has infact confirmed that a verbal agreement exists between Genoa president Enrico Preziosi and Inter president Massimo Moratti on the Italian striker. “Destro? There is an verbal agreement between Moratti and Preziosi: in case of a sale, the priority would be given to the Nerazzurri. We will see.”

Thanks to the meeting yesterday, Inter have taken a huge step forward for Mattia Destro.

***

Fredy Guarin’s future is about to be confirmed. Rumors coming from Colombia, a radio station to be specific, that Inter have confirmed that they have completed the paperwork to sign the former Porto midfielder on a permanent basis. Everything will be confirmed in a meeting today between Guarin and Inter.

Not just from Colombia, FC Inter 1908 has also learned that Inter have communicated with Fredy Guarin that they will exercise the option to purchase his card in its entirety. Fredy Guarin will sign a 4-year contract and the transfer fee is fixed at 13.5 million euros.

***

Inter are following Ezequiel Schelotto very closely and this is no longer a mystery for anybody. The player in this past year showed to be a vital piece in Atalanta’s three-man midfield. His performances not only were seen by the Nerazzurri’s transfer market men but they are also very convinced. So, if the contract renewal of Maicon does not go well, it is Schelotto that could be one of the top choices to replace the Brazilian. The Argentinian-born player is capable of playing on the right side either high up front or from behind like a right-back. Today however, the boy is now with the shirt of the Azzurri as he is in the current team called up by Prandelli and the boy really wants to be there in Poland and Ukraine.

That being said, Ezequiel Schelotto has spoken to the microphones of Corriere della Sera about his future:

“It is not the moment to talk about the transfer market especially after a season like this. I am feeling good in Bergamo and I have three years in my contract. I have an idol by the name of Javier Zanetti. He grew up in Banfield, just like me, and then came here in Italy. The similarities are there. Plus he is a friend and it would be nice to retrace his footsteps and play for Inter. But I am only in my second year in Serie A. It is too soon.”

***

Paris is on the horizon, Milan is at the window, the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi is not certain yet and there will be more discussions next week. But if gap between him and Napoli is increasingly getting bigger, pushing him towards Inter, according to Sky Sport, would be the many Argentinians currently playing for the Nerazzurri. They are his friends and would welcome him with open arms when he leaves Napoli in the summer.

***

There has been a lot of talk about Samuele Longo, the striker born i 1992 and just finished an excellent season with Inter Primavera. So much so that he made a debut in the last game of the season against Lazio in Rome. The boy – co-owned between Genoa and Inter – has a lot of requests from Serie A and B clubs but according to what FC Inter News has learned, president Massimo Moratti, personally, has confirmed this boy at Inter. Longo is seen as a new Mattia Destro which is why you do not want to let him to and see him exploding with other shirts. It is clear but the transfer market is still long but Longo now has more chance to stay as a nerazzurro.

***

“I would say that if Inter want Andreolli, just pick up and fall and tell me: at that point we will see and discuss. It is not a problem: if they want then the deal is done.” That was Giovanni Sartori, Chievo sporting director talking to IlSussidiario.net about the alleged interest from Inter for Marco Andreolli. He continues: “We have not spoken with Inter yet nor have we planed to meet partly because they now have something else to think.”

***

It’s all done. Fredy Guarin is now an Inter player at 100% thanks to today’s meeting which has finalized the details. Porto will receive 11 million from this deal instead of the planned 13.5 million but Inter had already paid the 1.5 million for his loan (total cost is 12.5). Therefore, Fredy Guarin is going to be an important piece for the Inter midfield in the present as well as the future. An operation that was conducted perfectly by Branca and Ausilio, a major signing for next season.

***

Today is an important day for Inter which have taken its first step in the right way. Fredy Guarin has been signed to a permanent contract and his agent, Marcelo Ferreyra has confirmed the transfer:

“I do not want to say the cost of this whole operation but I can assure you that Fredy is very, very happy for this opportunity to continue playing at Inter and he is also very grateful for Porto. Two years ago there were already contacts made with Inter. This year he had several different physical problems but had the opportunity to go to Italy and played for the final part of the season at Inter. He is very grateful that Porto have allowed this transfer. This deal is best for all parties.”

***

New rumors coming from France suggesting that Ezequiel Lavezzi will go to Paris Saint Germain. According to RMC Sport, PSG have burned Inter with an offer of 32 million euros in cash. This rumor is yet to be verified. In the next few days, especially after the Italian Cup final, there will surely be new developments.

***

Breaking news coming from Brazil, Lucio and Inter have ended their relationship. Revealing this news is the player’s agent, Sandro Becker.

Agent: “It’s been three years at Inter, three wonderful years but I think it is time to change. We are negotiating with the club and we talked about that today. We submitted our request and it was accepted. Now he is looking for a new club. As a man and player, he is leaving Inter also as a friend, wherever he goes. We have decided to leave, they understood and we were all very cordial about it. He still has two years in the contract and if he finds a new club, he will leave. The preference is to play in a big European league but you never know. There is much interest from Brazil. The World Cup is going to be played there and Lucio knows it. We do not know about the future.”

Target: Lucas Moura

Chelsea and Liverpool appear to have failed in their attempts to lure Brazilian starlet Lucas Moura, with Inter Milan poised to sign the teenage midfielder.
Both Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for the 19-year-old Sao Paulo midfielder.Inter head coach Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that Lucas is one of the club's top targets. He told newspaper Corriere dello Sport: 'He is a world class player. For me he is one of the most interesting talents on the transfer market today and would be great for us.'

LAVEZZI, LEO TO ATTACK

Watch out Inter, PSG to offer 25 million. To Napoli, six more mililon in bonuses is also ready.

Milan – Watch out because today or more likely tomorrow the battleship of PSG will make their offer: 25 million plus 6 in bonuses and for the player 4.5 million per season. And that player is Ezequiel Lavezzi. There will be a long meeting that has been scheduled for some time and after which, Inter will be made aware to see if they still believe in the transfer of il Pocho to the Nerazzurri. “Lavezzi? He is interesting but there is no offer today.” Today, i.e. yesterday because it will come in 48 hours. We all knew that Ancelotti and Leonardo – and especially Al Thani – would come forward. But until now, there was only hypothesized offer. It seems that Moratti has long been made aware by Leonardo that PSG would launch towards Lavezzi and that’s why Moratti wanted to meet Napoli president in a hotel in Milan. Between the two presidents, there is a great understanding but De Laurentiis has always made it clear that he wants more money than the 15 million (plus Pandev and two young players) offered by Inter. So what will DeLa do with the offer from PSG? Today or tomorrow we will know more.

For Zanetti At Inter, they do not have to wait, based on two concrete and important relationships: the first one is again, the excellent friendship that exists between the two presidents. The second is that Lavezzi wants to stay in Italy and choose Inter of his friend Javier Zanetti. Those aspects could tip the balance towards the Nerazzurri but it is clear that the strong proposal from PSG (both for Napoli and the player) will defeat any choices and bring Lavezzi to Paris. Inter and Napoli will surely meet again next week. On the table at the moment are Pandev, Faraoni, perhaps Juan Jesus. But what if Inter include Pazzini in the deal? The Italian was paid for 18 million and including him in negotiations would cover that release clause. Time will tell…

***

Fredy Guarin’s dream has come true. He is now Inter player thanks to a blitz to Porto by Inter transfer market men in Ausilio and Branca which took play yesterday. Inter have exercised its option to pick up the player in a permanent deal before the end of this month and by doing so, the Nerazzurri got a 2.5 million euros discount. Because for Guarin, Massimo Moratti will have to pay 11 million (instead of the 13.5) and that figure is payable in the next three years.

In terms of his personal contract, Fredy will sign a four-year deal until 2016 at 2.1 million a season. A bargain in every sense for Inter because they did not overpay to get a quality player at a low salary. A winning situation.

***

A triangle on the transfer market and everything here may revolve around Lucas Moura, the gem of Sao Paulo whom Inter have been laying their eyes on in such a long time. According to Sky, the real alternative to Ezequiel Lavezzi would be the Brazilian. However, Lucas’ arrival would also be linked to a current Inter player: Wesley Sneijder. To many, Wesley Sneijder is the only Inter player that his transfer would give the team a good sum of cash to reinvest in the transfer market.

***

New rumors started today but the Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo. It appears that during yesterday’s meeting between Branca, Ausilio and Porto management to define the transfer of Fredy Guarin, Inter transfer market men have taken that opportunity and asked the Portuguese club for Nicolas Otamendi. The cost of this transaction would be around 15 million and Inter are reflecting it. Otamendi would the the replacement of Ivan Cordoba who is now retired.

***

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter could make a u-turn on Gaby Mudingayi. The Belgian of Bologna would be a low-cost alternative for Inter’s main objectives for the midfield in Nigel De Jong and Borja Valero. If those two names are too expensive then Inter could go after Mudingayi whose contract expires in 2013 (value? 1.5 million). The first contact was about three weeks ago.

***

“He is a very interesting player but for now, there is no offer…” That was Leonardo yesterday trying to throw water on fire but in France, people are convinced: Ezequiel Lavezzi will go to Paris Saint Germain. There is talk of an agreement reached between the player and the club who is now starting to negotiate with Napoli. DeLa says that he wants the clause to be paid in full but PSG are seeking a discount. The offer at the moment seems to be 25 million plus bonuses.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Mazzoni who is Lavezzi’s agent, has spoken to RMC Sport, a French radio. “I do not want to speak about Lavezzi today. For your information (that an agreement has been reached between the player and PSG), I can neither confirm nor deny it. Lavezzi’s future will be decided in the coming days.” Those are the words that do not close the doors to Paris entirely. Inter, at the moment, seem not willing to enter a bidding war unless Moratti changes his mind.

***

There have been rumors recently suggesting that Inter are on the trail of Matias Silvestre. To confirm this rumor is Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini: “Inter have asked us for Silvestre, just some information. There are other teams that interested as well but I want to keep him. The cost? I got the player for 7 million and I’d like a little more. He wants to play in a club that makes European competitions and so we’ll see.”

***

Davide Torchia, Giampaolo Pazzini’s agent, summarizes the situation of his client’s future.

“For this future we will have to way just like always in a transfer market period. He has always given his contribution to the team then now the team’s hierarchies will be decided by the coach. Lazio and Napoli? Two clubs that are liked by a lot of people, it is natural. Pazzini is feeling appreciated and important at Inter and so with serenity and without problems, we will see about the situation. We will decide the best solution for him based on what his entire family thinks.”

***

Inter are serious about Igor Lichnovsky, born ’94 and the current defender at Universidad de Chile. According to FC Inter News, Inter have accelerated negotiations by meeting with the defender’s representatives to day in Milan. The agency that looks after the interests of Lichnovsky with two agents met with Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio in these hours. The deal is getting hotter by the hour as Inter know that competitions do exist especially from Chelsea.

The main problem here is related to his non-EU status but Inter are thinking very seriously of the defender although sporting director of Universidad de Chile, according to sources, does not intend to sell him immediately.

***

From the website of Gianluca Di Marzio, the Sky journalist has confirmed the meeting between Inter and Igor Lichnovsky’s representatives today in Milan.

“An idea from South America. His name is Igor Lichnovsky the latest name proposed to the big Italian clubs. The Chilean defender born in 1994, owned by Universidad de Chile (the team were Edu Vargas came from) and his agents have offered him to Inter and Juventus. With this photo published on Twitter (it was taken in the headquarters of Inter) agents have confirmed the meeting with Branca and Ausilio today. For now, the young player is being observed and has been proposed by his agents. However, his non-EU status has slowed down negotiations so Inter and Juventus could think of loaning him to another club perhaps one that is newly promoted. Ideas, proposals… This is the transfer market air…”

***

Here is the official announcement on the website of FC Porto:

“FC Porto have reached an agreement with Inter for the outright transfer of the Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin. The value of this transfer is 11 million euros. The formalization of this agreement is now subjected to the signing of the player’s contract with Inter.”

***

Gianluca Di Marzio has updated us on the situation of Lucio, Pazzini as well as Lavezzi.

“Inter and Lucio are doing a very thorough and detailed assessment. The player’s agent spoke about it yesterday and today we have confirmation which shows that a contract termination is on course. Lucio still has two years left in this contract and we will see if the final conclusion will arrive in the next few days. Inter will save a good part of the salary and Lucio will be free to find a team something that he still hasn’t been able to find. His agents will evaluations as they come. Clubs in Qatar, Brazil and France all want him.

“Regarding Pazzini, his agent today has avoided controversy. We all know that Inter want Lavezzi and Destro. If Inter get Destro then the future of Pazzini is at risk but at the moment there are no requests for the player. Maybe Inter could use him in negotiations for Lavezzi but Napoli want only Pandev as the only part of the deal.”

***

Younes Belhanda’s intention is to stay at Montepellier. The Moroccan, awarded as the best player in Ligue 1, explains: “Today, my desire is to stay here. Playing in the Champions League with the shirt of the club that I grew up in will be extraordinary. I intend to stay here at all costs to play in the Champions League.”

***

Breaking news coming from Sky Sport. Not only Lucio is negotiating to get his contract terminated, even Diego Forlan is doing just that. The striker has a lot of interests especially from the Brazilian clubs like Atletico Mineiro but apparently Milan have also stepped in in the last few hours. Rumors suggest that there have already been contacts between Milan and the Uruguayan’s representatives.

***

Inter have been following the track of Mauricio Isla for a long time now and Udinese are very aware of it. But now according to Sky, negotiations seem to stop for the foreseeable future. The reason? Well Udinese are asking Inter for Philippe Coutinho. Inter thought about it but do not seem wiling to let the talented Brazilian go who is considered to be one of the main players for Stramaccioni next season.

***

The time to say goodbye is now. Diego Forlan and Inter are very close to a divorced after a disastrous season which has disappointed everyone. The parties are negotiating a contract termination and there are many teams lurking around to jump on this opportunity like Milan and a few Brazilian clubs. To confirm this here is Pablo Forlan, the player’s father:

“I can say that there is no news on the current negotiations yet, anything can happen. Football today happens very fast, anything can happen quickly and almost overnight Diego may end up in Brazil or perhaps staying at Inter. Maybe I would say one thing and an hour later, the opposite would happen. However, I cannot give you the percentages for the possibility of him going to Atletico Mineiro. The chances of seeing him in Brazil are high that’s for sure but I cannot talk about it. Maybe now there is nothing but tomorrow or Monday Forlan would be playing for Atletico Mineiro.”

***

Massimo Moratti has updated us on what is going on in terms of transfer market strategies and plans at Inter.

“Sneijder is considered to be a central player in what could be the future of Inter. Lucio said that these days he is a little bit confused so let’s see if it would be better for him to change team. Forlan? Inter players will stay voluntarily. We’ll see what is going to happen and if it is better for him to go elsewhere. I will confirm those that deserve to stay. That applies to the players but the same reasoning will also be for everybody in this club (including management). Lavezzi? For the moment, I think that this is an operation that we will have to be calm and attentive on the economic part of it.”

***

Inter are not only looking at Lucas as a potential player for the future, they have Paulinho also on the list. According to Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzo, the agents of Corinthians are in Milan. “The agents of Paulinho are here in Italy to propose their client to several top clubs. Among these especially Inter because Paulinho is a player that Inter are very familiar with thanks to Piero Ausilio who has seen the Brazilian in action several times.

***

In the current Inter team, the only striker looks set to stay is Diego Milito. Forlan, Zarate, Castaignos and now Giampaolo Pazzini are ready to pack. According to Sky, “the player will leave because Stramaccioni will use formation with only one striker and that is Diego Milito (and now Destro is coming as a backup). For Pazzini, Inter will ask for no less than 10-12 million euros.” There are many teams that have shown interest in the Italian striker over the years like Lazio, Napoli, PSG and now Zenit. Inter are hoping for a high bidding war.

GOMEZ OR PALACIO IF LAVEZZI DOES NOT COME

The Genoa player is back in the Inter’s crosshairs while Inter like more and more the Papu of Catania.
Maicon for De Jong. Isla is very possible.

Appiano Gentile – Palacio is here once again in the crosshairs of Inter. The Nerazzurri do not want to lose the sight of Ezequiel Lavezzi but they have started looking for alternatives. The club of Massimo Moratti is thinking of saying yes to Papu Gomez (Catania) but especially Rodrigo Palacio, the winger of Genoa and one that for years, has been the favorite of Inter technical director Marco Branca.

Lucas in the background In all of this, we should not forget Lucas Moura for which Inter have had a pole position for some time because they have always made the first step in comparison to the competitions. The specific one is an offer made in last January and talked to the player as well as Sao Paulo. The doubts? English clubs and even in the UK, they seem to understand that Lucas’ road to Europe seems to be at Inter.

Forlan, Isla, Pazzini While Inter and Lucio are working to terminate contract but the same thing could be ruled out with Forlan. For him, his sale is basically certain (abroad) but not on a free transfer and not anything that is going to break the banks in Milan. For Chivu, his renewal is still in balance while there is a derby for Silvestre. Another defender is Mauricio Isla: the temptation of getting De Jong could trigger an exchange between Inter and City for Maicon and De Jong which will make Mauricio Isla go to Inter. Transfer rumors suggest that Udinese have asked to include Pazzini but it is tough. Napoli, Lazio and Roma are all interested in the Italian striker.

***

With the departure of Ivan Cordoba and probably Lucio, Inter are working on a defense of the future. The hottest name of all is Marco Andreolli. According to FC Inter News who has learned from sources close to the player, it appears that the negotiations to bring the Chievo back to Inter are well underway. A good past year by Andreolli is enough to convince Inter to speed up negotiations although there is no absolute certainty that this deal would be close at some point in the future because there is not agreement with Chievo yet. But both parties are close and everything could be finalized in about 10 days.

Andreolli would then be part of the defense that consists of Ranocchia, Samuel, Juan Jesus and Chivu (if he is renewed). If the Romanian defender leaves, then it is likely that Inter will look for another defender.

***

It has to be a definitive answer and according to FC Inter News, the future of Christian Chivu will be decided next week. The Romanian has not had an answer yet. Inter offered a two-year renewal and option for third year plus a major curtailment of wage. Now he is going to take another week to think about it. Everything indicates that Chivu will accept the propose of Inter. If not, there are many clubs interested in him, Valencia, PSG, Ajax, four clubs from England, Bayern Munich and Napoli. By the middle of next week, we should have the final say.

***

The first offer of Paris Saint-Germain for Ezequiel Lavezzi is already on the table of Napoli. According to French sources which reveal details: Leonardo has put up more than 23 million euros in cash on table plus some bonuses for total 30 million euros. At that cost, Inter could hardly match the price. Both sides will discuss in next few days.

***

Speaking to Radio Sportiva, Stefano Capozucca, Genoa sporting director, explains the situation of Mattia Destro and other Genoa players:

“In football, the agents talk a bit too much. Players are owned by the teams not by the agents. We will assess together the future of Destro. Contratto (agent) will not affect the future of this Genoa striker. For Palacio, he is an extraordinary player and of great value, one that deserves a big club. I do not know what would happen to Genoa this season without him.”

***

From Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, he has informed us on the current situation.

“Inter are moving and Paulinho is among its objectives. Inter management have met Bernardo, the agent of the Corinthians midfielder. The meeting ended very recently and there was only a minor problem with the contract and nothing more. Barnardo is in Italy, like I said yesterday, to meet with Italian clubs. And Inter, who have been following Paulinho for some time, are among the teams interested. There was a meeting and now Inter will think about it…”

***

“I am finally feeling well.” With these words, Wesley Sneijder comforts the fans of Holland as Euro 12 is approaching closer. “There will be tough challenges but we will give everything.”

In terms of transfer market, Inter are his present however Wes wants to be part of the future as well. “As you all saw, last season was negative but I am sure that Moratti does not want to see his Inter like that again so there will be signings. I am doing well here at Inter and I feel I’m a part of it,” said the midfielder.

Very positive sign…

***

It is a sparkling Fredy Guarin after Inter have finally acquired him as 100%. The Colombian midfielder arrived in Italy during the January transfer market and costs Inter roughly 12 million euros.

“I am very happy this is what I’ve been waiting for. I talked to my agent and he has confirmed the deal. I am very happy. I already said that playing for Inter is a dream for me and now I want to fully exploit this opportunity.”

***

Gianluca Di Marzio, Sky transfer market expert, has updated us on the latest news regarding the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi and there a twist with the return of Eto’o's Anzhi for the Argentinian.

“The agent of Pocho, Alejandro Mazzoni, is back in Europe at these hours for a weekend of meetings. The first stop is in Germany where tomorrow night will see the Champions League final at the Allianz Arena. Then, on Sunday Mazzoni will be in Rome for the Italian Cup Final where Lavezzi will be undoubtedly a protagonist. During his first stop in Germany, there will be a new contact with Anzhi. The Russian club is back for the Argentinian and the club’s emissaries have already arrived in Germany to see Mazzoni. During this meeting, there will be general conversations to understand the situation of Ezequiel Lavezzi. The main goal for Anzhi to play alongside Eto’o remains Edin Dzeko but a new contact for Lavezzi will happen. Mazzoni is available and waiting for the Russians which show that there has not been anything definitive with PSG or Inter. From Paris it seems that Leonardo is ready to invest 23 million plus bonuses for the player but there is nothing concrete to close this negotiation because Mazzoni has resumed talks. Anzhi are back in the picture and they are very serious. The future of Lavezzi is live…”

***

New rumors coming and they are related to the future of Andrea Poli. Inter have yet to pick up the option to sign Andrea Poli in a permanent deal. It was believed that this option was linked to 15 appearances but it is not automatic according to Sensibile, Samp sporting director, recently. What FC Inter 1908 has learned is that we will understand Poli’s faith more right after the conclusion of Serie A promotional playoffs for his former club Sampdoria. Inter want a discount and it would be very difficult if Sampdoria make it to the top flight of Italian football.

***

After the meeting that occurred a few days ago, tonight, there should be another with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi for Mattia Destro. Inter are very serious on their youth product and the goal is to get Genoa’s half of his card before anyone else especially Juventus. The Bianconeri seem interested in getting Siena’s half instead. On the table of negotiations are Juraj Kucka and Samuele Longo, both are co-owned between Inter and Genoa. Inter however do not seem wanting to lose their Primevera striker and so the Nerazzurri could sell their half of Kucka’s card back to Genoa outright but another option is on loan.

***

According a report from Sky, Inter are constantly pushing for Mauricio Isla. This negotiation is complicated because Udinese want Coutinho as part of the deal. The Brazilian has been training very well at Appiano Gentile since his comeback and he is considered to be important in Stramaccioni’s project. Inter now must assess whether or not to put him on the table in order to speed up negotiations for Mauricio Isla.

***

Speaking to TeleRadioStereo, Leo Rodriguez, Mauricio Isla’s agent, talks about the future of his client:

“It is not simple talking about the transfer market linked to Isla. Mauricio is a strong player and with his versatility and performances especially in the World Cup two years ago, he is attracting a lot of interest. Negotiations are in private and at the moment I can say that there are three teams interested in him. The player was back in Chile yesterday, with his national team and he will continue to recover. He is already running now so he is fine. Papu Gomez? He is coming in Buenos Aires tomorrow. I am waiting here for him and then we will talk. If Montella goes to Roma and needs a player like Papu then he would be happy to play in Rome. He would be very pleased.”

***

Lucio does not seem willing to return to Brazil to finish his career. Despite the 2014 Brazilian World Cup, which might argue for the Inter defender to return home, it seems that Lucio wants to continue in the Old Continent, but after having contract terminated with Inter.

Today in Brazil, Internacional of Porto Alegre, in the words of its vice president, has virtually pulled out of contention: “I wanted Lucio at Internacional already when I was just a fan. But for now let’s leave,” said Luciano Davi.

But, above all, it is the agent Sandro Becker who suggests that the future of the former Bayern Munich player could still be in Europe: “It ‘s all very recent, but we have until August 30,” the agent said today according to FC Inter 1908, referring to the end of the European transfer market.

For Lucio, beyond a few PSG rumors, it is still early to say too much with assumptions. First is to clarify the situation with Inter and a termination which is close but not yet official.

***

Nothing that a nice dinner cannot fix. According to Sky reporter, Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter and Genoa are having a dinner with Mattia Destro on the menu of course. This meeting is still in progress however. Bringing back home the youth product is what Inter want and now both clubs will negotiate. And sources say that they are now even closer. On the table like always there are Kucka and Longo but Inter and Genoa are also talking about Andreas Granqvist. A defender that Inter and many other clubs really like. With the departure of Cordoba and probably Lucio, the Nerazzurri are working to strengthen their defense. Just an idea for now but the menu could be expanded. Meanwhile, the two parties will meet again next week. Destro is now closer…

***

Inter and Rodrigo Palacio. Rodrigo Palacio and Inter. They are destined to be together or at least linked with one another. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter are back for the Argentinian striker of Genoa. But that’s not all, it appears that Roma are also very serious on him as well.

“Walter Sabatini met with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi in the afternoon. The point of this meeting was Rodrigo Palacio, the objective of the Giallorossi for the attack. Genoa have studied the strategies to response to this request by Roma and asking for Aleandro Rosi as well as Gianluca Caprari. Soon we will be able to understand how negotiations can develop but Roma are not the only one. Inter have in fact come forward for the Argentinian just in case that the chances to sign Lavezzi were to be evaporated. And now Palacio is waiting…”

INTER-LAVEZZI

The big clubs have lined up but he will decide.
Interested in Pocho are also Chelsea, City and PSG but the preference of the player will have some weight in his decision.

Milan – Many want him but will have to wait until next week to know more. Ezequiel Lavezzi has hinted that he will leave Napoli and the bigs are queued up. Inter and PSG seem to be the most interested but yesterday Chelsea and City are itching to make a move for the Argentinian.

Strengths The club of Massimo Moratti’s negatives are the budgets and the lack of Champions League but Branca and Ausilio are the strong preference of the player and they have already planned a meeting with Napoli after the Italian Cup final on Sunday night to try closing the deal. Inter, other than Pandev, would like to put on the table other players in order to minimize the asking price. In the balance are the futures of some young Primavera players and half of Faraoni. The rest is the positive relationship between Moratti and De Laurentiis.

PSG movements The president of Napoli has always expressed his preference for cash (instead of getting players in exchange) to equalize the release clause of Lavezzi which would be 31 million. In France, people are assuming that PSG of Leonardo and Ancelotti could come close to this figure. Yesterday there was talk of a 23 million offer in cash but there is no confirmation of it and it is more likely that the French club has decided to slow down and will start back again after the Italian Cup final.

Cordoba and Zanetti Discussing on this current situation are two of Inter veteran players in Zanetti and Cordoba. “He is a great champion and should he arrive I would welcome him like I have always done with any ‘big” players,” said Zanetti. Cordoba: “Lavezzi is very strong and would do very well here. As for Guarin, I’m sure he will have a fantastic season since he has already proven his qualities in the few last games.”

Poker for the future Inter meanwhile continue with the “green” initiatives with four youngsters. These are the reinforcements especially for the midfield. Only missing the signature of Jules Ntcham (born 96), Le Havre midfielder who is also liked by Juve and Morten Knudsen, Danish midfielder (born 95) of Midtjylland. Two other young players are Valentino Lazaro, ’96 Austrian of Red Bull Salzburg and Igor Lichnovsky, Chilean defender of Universidad de Chile.

***

It’s back. After a long period of hibernation, the name Nuri Sahin is now back on the front page of the newspapers. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are “close” to acquire the Turkish midfielder of Real Madrid. For the former Borussia Dortmund player, a farewell is likely because he only played as a supporting actor last year: was used very rarely and on the “transferable” list of the Spanish champions. The Nerazzurri asked for Sahin already in the January transfer window but the no from Jose Mourinho made the deal unsuccessful. The same coach who said yesterday that Nuri Sahin “will stay with us because injuries did not allow him to prepare the right way.”

However, the newspaper insists that Inter have the leverage on the good relationship with the Portuguese coach and the Turkish midfielder is a very likely candidate to leave Real Madrid this summer especially if they find a better replacement in the midfield.

***

Important news coming in regarding the future of Igor Lichnovsky. Inter have been following the Chilean defender of Universidad de Chile for about a year now and it is time for the Nerazzurri to make a decisive step. According to Alfredo Pedulla of Sport Italia, “Inter have sent a Spanish scout for Lichnovsky next week and Valentino Angeloni, Inter new head of scouting operations, will also go to see the player in action. He is worth about 4 million euros and is a talented prospect.”

***
Those with a little bit knowledge of Italian football know that dealing with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis would be a real pain. And to confirm that statement, De Laurentiis has come out and reiterated the concept: who wants Ezequiel Lavezzi must pay the release clause of 31 million euros.

“I do not love transfer market in the newspaper because I believe that confidentiality is essential in certain areas and in certain situations. Lavezzi has a release clause and thus his fate is tied to it, not to other variables that do not exist. Not only that he is liked in France and Italy, there are England, Germany and Russia.”

The majority of Italian media believe that Lavezzi will leave Napoli this summer the only doubt here is his destination. Teams like Inter, PSG, Manchester City, Chelsea and now Anzhi are very interested.

***

Still him. Rodrigo Palacio and Inter seem to be in the destiny of each other. Inter have in fact climbed over Roma as the favorite to land the Argentinian striker. Here is Gianluca Di Marzio on the situation:

“In the last hours, Inter have taken important steps. The club is convinced and wants to close quickly probably because there are difficulties in the Lavezzi negotiations. For the Napoli striker, the competition is rich and fierce. In addition, the fact is Inter like Palacio and he was in the discussion during the dinner between Inter and Genoa last night. Roma are now behind despite having their own meeting with Genoa between Preziosi and Sabatini yesterday. Inter have surpassed…”

***

The Corriere dello Sport started this rumor yesterday and today, the Rome based newspaper continues insisting on the rumor that Inter are looking at the Turkish midfielder of Real Madrid Nuri Sahin. This time, there is a figure regarding the transfer fee. The Nerazzurri are willing to offer 10 million euros for the Madrid player who because of injuries did not have a great year last season.

OFFER READY FOR PALACIO

Inter are ready to equalize the offer from Roma.
For Destro, it is the challenge with Juve.
Granqvist-Silvestre: derby with Milan.

Milan – Many transfer market duels on all fronts. Inter are wearing a helmet and working 360 degrees to avoid being found unprepared as conversations continue with Genoa for two players: Mattia Destro and Rodrigo Palacio.

Palacio The meeting on Friday evening between Branca, Ausilio and Preziosi has led to several names on the plate. The first one is the 30 year-old winger from Bahia Blanca. The fact is Rodrigo Palacio has been identified as an alternative to Lavezzi and Inter have hinted that they will be ready to match the offer from Roma should things are getting too complicated for the Napoli player after a scheduled meeting between the two clubs next week for Lavezzi. The Giallorossi are ready to put on the table 10-12 million but Inter have a strong relationship with Preziosi. Without considering the two co-owned players in Longo and Kucka. The risk of being mocked on the Lavezzi front is very real because of the fierce competition for the player (Chelsea, City, PSG, Zenit…). One of those teams has to pay the entire release clause of 31 million to have little hope to land the player whose preference is the Nerazzurri.

Lucas and Destro Another alternative is the Sao Paulo player: Lucas Moura. Sparks will fly with him, Sneijder playing behind Milito let’s not forget that he is 10 years younger than Palacio. The Brazilian would lower pretensions to free the gem of Brazilian football after the Olympics at 25 million euros. The other hot name emerged during the meeting with Genoa on Friday is Mattia Destro. Inter, in fact, have an agreement with Genoa but will have to speak with Siena for the other half of the player. But there is the interference from Juve who have instead chosen Siena as an interlocutor.

Derby in defense Branca and Ausilio have also made moves in other departments. The Brazilian media continues speaking of many clubs interested in Lucio even if his salary is not a small obstacle. Chivu has received a good offer from Turkey which his agent has warned Inter about. The Nerazzurri are still waiting for the defender’s response after offering a two-year contract at 2.5 million per season. The two parties will resume discussion Tuesday. In terms of ingoing transfers, there is the name of Andreas Granqvist, Genoa defender born in 1985. For the Swede, the Rossoblu have already started conversation with Milan. Another derby is for the Palermo defender Matias Silvestre. This one, Inter have the advantage because they can use the card of Viviano.

***

Is this a message to Inter? Who knows but according to Sky Sport sources in Naples, Ezequiel Lavezzi wants to stay in Italy for his future and not to go abroad. Not only that, Gazzetta also suggests that the Argentinian’s preference is still the Nerazzurri. So next week, there should be a meeting with Napoli to understand more of the situation but the will of Pocho to live in the city of Milan could be decisive even if everything will depend on clubs’ offers.

***

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Matias Ezequiel Schelotto confirms the desire to wear the black and blue shirt for the future:

“Being able to play for Inter would be a dream but now I am only thinking about the national team. With Lavezzi? I would love to play with him because he is a great player. But for me, there is nothing concrete. Playing as a fullback? I am happy playing as a winger but would have no problem playing as a fullback.”

***

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Lucas Moura of Sao Paulo is the true alternative to Ezequiel Lavezzi if Pocho chooses not to come to Inter. The 19 year-old trequartista costs around 25 million euros and the club is studying two different plans to bring him to Milan. The first is to use the 15 million that they did not spend on Zarate and the remainder of 10 million would be out of Moratti’s pocket. The second is a more painful way because of a sale of Wesley Sneijder for an amount of over 20 million euros.

The Dutch international recently has expressed his desire to stay at Inter because he believes in Stramaccioni’s project as well as Moratti’s willingness to reinforce the team after such a disastrous season.

***

It seems that Inter have decided to pay more attention to the Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will be carefully watching the Turkish international in the next four friendly matches with his country against Georgia, Bulgaria, Portugal and Ukraine. These games are scheduled between May 24 and June 5.

Stramaccioni is looking for a “man of order” in front of the defense who is able to start the action and Nuri Sahin has the characteristics that fit the Inter coach’s style of play. Therefore, according to the Rome based newspaper, Nuri Sahin is the number one target for the Inter midfield. The former Borussia Dortmund player was under the watchful eyes of Branca and Ausilio last year before going to Real Madrid for a round 10 million euros (8.8 million to be exact). Inter then tried again in January but they found a strong opposition from the Spanish club. The club will try again this summer based on the good relationship with Jose Mourinho and Fiorentino Perez.

***

Inter and Cristian Chivu are going to be apart. As reported by Spanish newspaper AS, the Romanian defender would be offered to Getafe. The player’s contract expires next June 30 and the process of renewal seems to be cool down. AS continued “Chivu fits with profile of Getafe although the club has already reached an agreement with Abramo, Argentinean center defender.”

***

Another loan? No. According to Spanish newspaper Fichajes, it is convinced that Philippe Coutinho will not leave again after returning from six-month loan at Espanyol. He is now back at Inter Inter and is ready for Indonesia tour where he can show his potential to Stramaccioni. The coach has made it known that he wants to keep him and win with la Beneamata.

***

Not only Manchester United are interested in Nicolas Gaitan. According to reports in Portugal from Futebol 365 , Inter will continue to follow the talent of Benfica. ”Inter are active in the market and looking for young talent. After taking Guarin from Porto, Gaitan could be the next target of Inter.” In addition to Manchester United and Inter, there would also be PSG. Nico Gaitan has a contract with Benfica until 2016 and a termination clause of 45 million euros.

***

It may not satisfy Emiliano Viviano, the goalkeeper in a co-ownership deal between Inter Milan and Palermo, which yesterday was anxious to have his future defined by a single team. Tuttosport reports that there is a possibility of a co-ownership renewal, thus Viviano could still remain with Palermo on loan because Julio Cesar is likely to remain at Inter for another year.

***

It is going to be a fight between two clubs for Nuri Sahin, the Real Madrid midfielder who has now ended up on the transfer market. According to the various Spanish sources, for the Turkish international it is going to be a duel between Inter and Malaga. The Nerazzurri will offer roughly 10 million euros while Al Thani, Malaga boss, is willing to offer almost 20 million. However, Inter seem to have the edge because Real Madrid would rather sell him to a foreign team.

***

It is going to be Samuel Eto’o or Ezequiel Lavezzi, not Samuel Eto’o and Ezequiel Lavezzi. According to Sky, if the dream of Leonardo to bring the Cameroonian to France is realized then PSG would have to give up on the Argentinian who is very appreciated at Inter. Massimo Moratti likes il Pocho but he is not willing to pay the entire release clause which is about 31 million euros.

***

De Laurentiis to Sky discussing the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi:

“Lavezzi? There is a cycle for everybody. He is 27 years old so let him decide what he wants to do with his life. There is a release clause and unless anybody shows the cash then I will not have to sell him. But we also have to open ourselves to many new youngsters. Have you seen Insigne? The one that I brought to Napoli and should we not play him because Lavezzi has to play?”

DE JONG TO INTER
MAICON TO CITY

The Dutch is the favorite and then Mudingayi, Valero and Sahin.
For the attack, this is the week of huge meetings.

Milan – The transfer market is also about exchanging players. It will happen even more this year just look at Inter who are trying to include many players to get Lavezzi as well as Palacio (Kucka and Longo). But other than the offensive department, the one that this week Inter will have many important meetings, one other priority for Stramaccioni is a central midfielder.

Strama’s list The ideal identikit was that of Yann M’Vila (Rennes) but he is now vanished due to a high transfer fee and strong English competition. Now what? In order are Nigel De Jong, Gaby Mudingayi, Borja Valero and Nuri Sahin. In pole position is the Dutch who, as mentioned several times, is a life-long friend of Wesley Sneijder the one that Moratti has described has a “central piece” in the future of Inter and the one that has established a very important relationship with the coach Andrea Stramaccioni.

Maicon for De Jong Manchester and Inter have been talking for sometime, already last summer with Tevez and Sneijder and now the new English champion Roberto Mancini is ready to set sights on Douglas Maicon or a player with similar experience for the Champions League next season. In all of this there is the request from Inter for Nigel De Jong, a perfect player for Stramaccioni to play in front of the defense. The midfielder, today, has a price-tag of 10 million which would be canceled out with the inclusion of the Brazilian fullback. The Dutch however is three years younger than the Brazilian who would be used by Mancini as a starter due to the versatility of Zabaleta, also usable on the left. Other hypotheses remain in Mudingayi, Borja Valero and Nuri Sahin.

Meetings For sure this week there will be important meetings. On Tuesday we will know whether or not the renewal of Chivu. We will also know if Andreolli will arrive and who will replace Lucio between Silvestre and Granqvist. However there is Mateo Musacchio, the Italian/Argentinian born ’90, the central defender of the recently relegated Villarreal and has a contract until 2014. His value is just under 10 million euros. Inter will also meet Napoli for Lavezzi who is followed very closely by PSG. The Nerazzurri meanwhile have found an alternative to Pocho in Palacio just like the French club have found their own alternative in Eto’o. In short, Lavezzi will have to decide and whoever gets rejected will work on plan B.

Lucas, possible Meanwhile Lucas remains a strong objective for Inter. Moratti has no desire to see others win and with important sales, a decisive attack could be planned soon. This week is a crucial week and it starts now.

***

“Roma are beaten, Inter have captured Rodrigo Palacio.” That was the announcement on the front page of the Corriere dello Sport which ensures that Inter have locked up the Genoa player for next year and the Argentinian is now practically an Inter player. Roma recently showed interest but Inter accelerated negotiations by using the good relationship between the club and Preziosi to get their hands on Palacio.

Understanding difficulties in Lavezzi talks, Inter have offered 11 million euros, a figure that actually met the demand of Preziosi. Inter and Genoa will meet again in the coming days to discuss other businesses (primarily Destro) and also to establish the agreement for the Argentinian. Palacio is following negotiations very closely by staying in constant contacts with his agents who are arranging the formal aspects of the contract, one that would tie the player to Inter for four years.

If the signature arrives by tomorrow evening then Wednesday or Thursday, Palacio will undergo a medial and some physical tests before going on vacation.

***

From the studios of Sky Sport 24, Alessandro Sugoni explains the transfer market strategies of Inter espeially regarding the offensive department: “The pressing on Rodrigo Palacio is serious as Inter have beaten Roma. At this point, they just have to meet the player’s agents and it is the last missing piece to bring the player to Milan.”

But Palacio is not going to rule out another striker for Stramaccioni: “Absolutely not. Inter, even with Palacio, could still go ahead with one of Lucas and Lavezzi. A move that is needed for the Stramaccioni’s system.”

***

This past season was certainly not a positive one for Nuri Sahin. According to a Spanish newspaper Marca, “in the last few hours, Bayern, Dortmund and Inter are pressing more and more.” For him there is no lack of appreciation from the Portuguese coach who “would see him well in the distant future.” Also according to Marca, Sahin and Mou talked before leaving on vacation and the coach again reiterated his confidence. This confidence will be tested during the preseason given the absence of Turkey in the upcoming Euro.

However, Nuri Sahin has come out and frozen all the competition that would like to take him away from Real Madrid. During a press conference, he said that he does not have the slightest intention to leave the Spanish club: “I am in the biggest club in the world and I am not intending to leave it. I have the desire to go on here and i want to prove my worth to the club. I am living a dream.”

***

The first signing of the 2012 summer transfer window could really be Rodrigo Palacio. Negotiations are only missing minor details. Only minor details. With an agreement with the player, he will arrive soon. 11 million will be paid into the coffers of Genoa. However, he will not be the only signing because talks are still ongoing with Destro, Lavezzi and Lucas. Here are the latest by Gianluca Di Marzio:

“Palacio to Inter is a deal that realizing, only missing very little. To Genoa will 11 million with no players in exchange and so Inter have beaten out competition from Roma. Missing right now is an agreement with the player. Already today in Milan, there could be a meeting with his agents to close the deal. Inter will make a lot of changes in the attack: Zarate’s option will not be picked up and Forlan will probably leave. Palacio will not the the only signing for the attack. Inter will also try to close for Destro as well as attempting the last assault to Lavezzi.”

To confirm a meeting between agents and Inter, Calciomercato.it has reported that Palacio’s agents are indeed in Milan and the Genoa player is ready to say goodbye to Preziosi. Inter are only in need of an agreement with Palacio because both clubs have found an agreement of 11 million euros.

***

Mauricio Isla has left Udinese very important statements regarding his future:

“My dream is to play in a big club and one day I will succeed. If I am given the opportunity to chose, I would go to Inter given that the Nerazzurri have always wanted and talked with me.” Isla also talks about his injury and living through those difficult moments: “I cried a lot and I thought I would collapse but the messages from people gave me so much strength to continue.”

***

A few moments ago, FC Inter News ,which just happened to be at the Saras offices, “caught” Pasquale Sensibile, Sampdoria sporting director, going in the headquarters of Inter. The topic of discussion? Both parties will certainly be talking about Andrea Poli and Angelo Palombo. Here is his statement:

“It was just an interlocutory meeting. For Poli there is the will from Inter to build the right thing. Palombo? We’ll talk about the promotional playoff. We will meet again.”

***

News on Sport Mediaset related to the future of Inter. Rodrigo Palacio can be taken as a done deal with Roma beaten thanks to the important meeting occurred last Friday. Yet to be understood is the situation involved Mattia Destro because Roma could be ready to offer Siena 7 million euros while Inter are working with Genoa. In all of this, the Nerazzurri are seriously thinking about Marco Verratti, on whom, Juventus remain in pole position.

***

In an exclusive interview with FC Inter 1908, Juvenal Juvencio, Sao Paulo president, discusses the future of Lucas Moura, who is considered to be one of the gems in Brazilian football.

Good morning Mr. Juvenal, what can you say about Inter’s interest for Lucas?
“Good morning, yes Inter for a long period are interested in the player and we are aware of it.”

Have you spoken with Inter?
“Yes. With Marco Branca we have met several times and Lucas is a target for Inter.”

Has an offer been made on the part of the Nerazzurri?
“Yes, Inter have presented a 25 million offer but that was not considered satisfactory to us.”

Are other teams interested in Lucas?
“Certainly, from several European clubs.”

Are Real Madrid, for example, interested in him?
“Yes, Real Madrid are one of the teams and there have been contacts with Florentino Perez who admires the player very much.”

Have you received an offer from Real Madrid or any other teams other than Inter?
“From Real no, but I have received an offer that higher than that of Inter.”

From whom?
“Chelsea.”

For how much?
“40 million.”

And Sao Paulo did not accept?
“No, however, at the moment it is Chelsea that are the closest team to Lucas.”

***

It seems that Inter have reached an agreement with Sampdoria in order to sign Andrea Poli on a permanent deal for six million euros. But that is not all, the two clubs also discussed Angelo Palombo in an afternoon meeting at Inter headquarters. Here is Gianluca Di Marzio on the situation:

“Arriving at Inter headquarters in this afternoon was Pasquale Sensibile, Sampdoria sporting director, to clarify the positions of Poli and Palombo. For Poli, there are no problems and for 6 million, the option is virtually picked up by Inter. The club will determine whether to invest with cash or other pieces. Also it will depend on the promotion of Sampdoria. For Palombo however, everything would depend on the future of Samp: if the Blucerchiati return to Serie A, then Palombo would go back, otherwise Inter and Sampdoria will have another solution. To pick up his option, the cost is about 4 million and Inter have no intention to exercise it.

***

Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca has clarified the future of Rodrigo Palacio who is now very close to Inter:

“Palaccio has asked us to be transferred. He is an very well coveted player not only by Inter and Roma but to close a transaction three key components must be in the same direction: buyer, seller and the player. So let’s wait for a little bit. Even for the coach. It will be president Preziosi that chooses and will announce his decision in a few days.”

***

Milan like De Jong. Although despite many similar characteristics that the Dutch midfielder has with some of the Milan players, Allegri is interested in his service. However, according to Sky Sport 24, Inter are still ahead because of the contacts between the Nerazzurri with the player’s agent. Let’s recall for Nigel De Jong’s contract is running out in 2013.

In the meeting between Galliani and Mancini, the name of Kolarov also came up (another player liked by Inter). The defender is one that Milan would like to borrow on loan for the season.

For Lavezzi, there are no meetings scheduled for today between the player’s agent and De Laurentiis. PSG seem to have the edge over Inter who have captured Palacio but that does not mean that Lavezzi won’t also come to the city of Milan. Anzhi are waiting for the response regarding Dzeko and if there is black smoke, then they would enter on the field for il Pocho.

***

Arriving confirmation from Argentina on the deal for Rodrigo Palacio. According to Ole, the deal is in progress and Inter really want the jewel of Genoa. Moreover, from Argentine site TN, the official announcement will arrive in coming days. According to Argentine media, Palacio is alternative solution for Lavezzi.

***

Not only Inter are working to strengthen its offensive department, the Nerazzurri are also being very attentive to the back four as well. With the likely departures of Lucio and Chivu, Inter have set its sights on Igor Lichnovsky, the defender of Universidad de Chile. And now we have confirmation coming from Chile. According to La Tercera, one of the biggest newspapers in South America, Valentino Angeloni, Inter’s newest head scout will be in Santiago to watch Igor Lichnovsky.

A very significant step because during his days with Udinese, Angeloni had already begun gathering information on the defender born 1994. So on Thursday, Angeloni will talk to Lichnovsky after the game between Universidad de Chile and Libertad which will be played at the Estadio Nacional. Inter want to speed up negotiations for the promising and talented defender who also has interest from Chelsea. However, according to the newspaper, the English club has not made any official steps with the Chilean club.

***

“A positive meeting.” That is the description of the meeting which just ended a few minutes ago between Rodrigo Palacio’s agents and Inter. In the coming days, the two agents will again meet with Inter transfer market men again to probably polish every minor detail. According to the early rumors, the player will have a three-year contract and has been acquired from Genoa for a figure of roughly 11 million euros. Again, the two clubs will have to define minor details of this transaction but everything seems to be a done deal to the point where there have been talks of a medical for the Argentinian. Palacio will probably have a medical at the end of the week if not at the latest, the start of next week.

An important note to know here is not this operation will not rule out the possible arrival of Lavezzi and Destro in black and blue.

***
There was a time when Andrea Ranocchia really thought of leaving Inter, even on loan. With Lucio, Samuel and Chivu, he found himself the bench more often than the field. “When do I play if there guys are already there,” the former Genoa player said. But after few months, the situation has changed, not directly related to his will. Lucio, in fact, through his agent, has said that he wanted leave by terminating the contract with Inter. Besides that, Chivu has not yet responded to the proposed renewal of Inter. Therefore, there is only Samuel left for central defender position. It is clear that someone will come (up til now the hottest name is Marco Andreolli who would make his return to Inter) but one way or another, the pair of Samuel-Ranocchia would be on in the central defense for next season.

MORATTI ATTACKS

Inter-Palacio: and one… Waiting for Lavezzi
Agreement for the Genoa Argentinian: 10 million cash to Preziosi.
This deal does not rule out il Pocho: contact with Napoli in a few days.

Milan – The light was lit last Thursday and now it is shining brightly: Rodrigo Palacio now is truly one step away from wearing the shirt of Inter after a chase which lasted for one year. Meetings have been going on in the past few days between Inter technical director Marco Branca, sporting director Piero Ausilio and the two agents Gabriele Giuffrida and Roberto Da Petri. And now there is white smoke. Genoa will have 10 million in cash and Rodrigo Palacio is going to sign a three-year (or two-year contract with option for a third) contract which is going to be signed at the end of this week.

Moratti conductor Question: but is Palacio signing going to exclude the arrival of Lavezzi? Answer: No. Moratti wants to win again and that with the fact that many players are on their way out (Forlan, Zarate, Lucio and perhaps even Pazini and Maicon), this team is currently on a rebuilding process to find those that fit Strama’s style of play. With only one winger in Ricky Alvarez (and Coutinho to certain degree), acceleration for Rodrigo Palacio was needed. In addition, one more winger between Lavezzi, Lucas and Gomez will come.

Contact Moratti-DeLa And speaking of Lucas, there is a monstrous proposal from Chelsea. “Inter are interested in the player and have offered 25 million which that we considered not sufficient. There is also Real Madrid and Chelsea who have offered 40 million,” said Sao Paulo president to FC Inter 1908. For Lavezzi, there will be a new contact between Moratti and De Laurentiis in a few days. The will of Lavezzi, which is to go to Inter, is going to have an important role in this situation. In short, Inter should have another winger after Rodrigo Palacio.

Poli, Destro Meanwhile, Inter also met with Sampdoria director Sensibile: Poli will stay but both parties will have to discuss the 6 million figure for the purchase. Palombo? Who knows and Mariga could return. Today, Genoa will see Siena for the ownership of Mattia Destro. Preziosi will then talk to Inter while Juventus continue to be lurking around for the Italian striker.

Isla, Musacchio For the defensive department, head scout of Inter Angeloni will fly to Chile – according to La Tercera – for Lichnovsky, defender of the “U” (Universidad de Chile). Here is another Chilean in Mauricio Isla: “If I have the opportunity to choose, I would go to Inter, a club that has always wanted me and also talked to me.” Everything is open for Maicon-De Jong while Chivu will decide today if he really wants to stay and Musacchio (Villareal) is a very concrete option together with Silvestre and Granqvist.

PALACE OF DREAMS

The Argentinian of Genoa is now taken, Moratti continues the restructuring of the team.
Negotiations for Lavezzi, De Jong and Silvestre continue.

screenshot20120522at821.png

THE NEW ARGENTINTER

Finally Palacio. Now the dream team of Stramaccioni wants Lavezzi.
Moratti has started the reconstruction: after the Genoa player, the team is now on Pocho and Silvestre.

Milan – The ideas are there. These are the ideas that have started negotiations for a while. Massimo Moratti has no desire to see others winning and so he is rebuilding. Starting from Palacio who could wear the jersey number 8 of the former Inter player Thiago Motta. The Palacio… of dreams is going to start with an incredible attack consisting of the former Genoa player, Lavezzi, Sneijder and Milito. And this is not an impossible attack to have. Among other things, more Argentinians are coming to Inter with the track of Silvestre and an alternative in Musacchio, the Italian/Argentinian of Villareal (without forgetting Ranocchia). Translation: this is the Inter that Strama has been dreaming of. Ausilio and Branca will continue working on this dream team for Stramaccioni as they will also be looking out for outgoing transfers, which will be quite a few. Palacio is going to be the first piece of this attack (in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3) one that can expand the field and attack the goal. Forlan and Zarate will change “air” and so in that role there is only Alvarez (and more or less Coutinho). Therefore, other than Palacio, Inter are in search for another ultra-offensive player: Lavezzi, surely the first on the transfer market list. Moratti and De Laurentiis will continue hearing from one another in these hours in order to find a formula that would cover the 30.8 million release clause which PSG are approaching dangerously close (yesterday rumor of Lavezzi going to PSG but the agent denied). Lavezzi and Palacio would not only mean quality but also unpredictability that Strama is looking for in his inter. Two very dynamic with the spirit of sacrifice will not have any problem to play in a 4-2-3-1 that Strama has in mind.

screenshot20120522at815.png

A dam In addition to these offensive weapons, Inter are planing to build a dam behind them. Mancini is thinking about Maicon and so for Inter is De Jong (without underestimating Mudingayi), one that would form a insurmountable pair in front of the defense with Fredy Guarin. In case of a midfield of three, watch out for another player that Inter are interested in: Mauricio Isla who has clearly said that he wants to play for Inter. Isla has two positions: right back but also right midfield. Let’s not forget some other options that Strama has in Cambiasso, poli, Obi and he also wants to bring back Mariga. In all of this there is Zanetti: wherever you put him, he’ll do well. And then there is Stankovic. According to Serbian press, the midfielder could leave for the policy of lowering the salary of Moratti. Other sales are Forlan, Zarate, Lucio and probably Maicon but watch out for Pazzini and Julio Cesar who is staying in Italy to recover from injury but a call from England can happen at any moment. Lastly we have Chivu whose agent said “probably he will say goodbye to Inter.”

***

Nuri Sahin’s agent is currently in Milan. A piece of news that has triggered a lot of rumors and here is Di Marzio explaining the situation:

“Nuri Sahin’s agent, Reza Fazeli, is in Milan. He has already met with Juve to study operations for other younger players. Sahin could be an objective of Inter but Fazeli has not received a call nor he has scheduled any meeting with the Nerazzurri. New developments could be happening soon. Don’t rule out a possibility for Milan because the Rossoneri also like Sahin so much so that they tried as early as last January. It could be another transfer market derby…”

***
According to Sky Sport 24, Paulinho can be a concrete objective for the midfield of Inter. There will be two Inter scouts tonight at the Pacaembu stadium to watch the game between Corinthians and Vasco da Gama. Inter will continue to follow the Brazilian even if for him there has not been any official offer according to Brazilian source UOL.

***

An alternative to Lavezzi, a name that Inter really want but with him, there are many difficulties economically. And yet, Inter have made their moves for Lucas Moura, Sao Paolo talented Brazilian, one that Branca has had his eyes on for several months. And now here is his agent Wagner Ribeiro who has denied an offer of 40 million from Chelsea by announcing that Inter are the only club that actually made their move for his client.

“Lucas does not want to leave, there is nothing from Chelsea. I can say that he will not leave Brazil before 2014 because there is the World Cup. I was at the home of Roman Abramovich, Chelsea boss, together with agent Zahavi who is my partner. If I had told them that Lucas is worth 40 million and they would pay right at that moment but they did not because they know that Lucas is not leaving before 2014.”

So the intention here is to remain in his native land but Ribeiro also added an interesting revelation: “Inter are the only one that make an offer, an offer of 25 million but again Lucas is not leaving.”

***

We knew that Nuri Sahin’s agent was in Milan today but there were no indications that there would be any contact with the two Milanese clubs, until now. Sources have confirmed that there was contact made between Inter management and Sahin’s agent, Reza Fazeli late in the afternoon. Fazeli also met with Adriano Galliani as well. An attractive midfielder that has a lot of interest especially from the two clubs in Milan. And now it is time to understand what is the true intention of Real Madrid. Sahin did not have a good season last year due to multiple injuries.

***

According to Sky, Juventus are now leading in the race for Mattia Destro in comparison to Inter. Apparently, Marotta has offered to the club of Mezzaroma an figure of about six million for half of his card. The other half belongs to Genoa. If Marotta receives the yes from Siena and he would negotiate directly with Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.

***

A meeting in the afternoon between Inter and Parma. If just a few days ago, Parma president Ghirardi confirmed the excellent relationship between the two clubs, today, they have come together. This was revealed by Sky Sport just a few moments ago. Many Parma players are liked by Inter as the Nerazzurri are thinking of alternatives.

In the event that that negotiations for Ezequiel Lavezzi collapse, Inter have asked for the information of Sebastian Giovinco. This was not a serious request just a quick survey on the situation. The same was also done for Fabio Borini, the player that Parma are having half of. Borini would be an alternative for Mattia Destro.

***

It seems that Inter, albeit reluctantly, are willing to sell Julio Cesar in order to rejuvenate the team and lower the mountain of salaries. The Brazilian goalkeeper has a contract until 2014 at 4 million per season. Julio Cesar, just like Lucio, could return to Brazil or more specifically Flamengo one that could give Inter first option on one of its better young players. Another option is to Corinthians where Inter could use him to lure their long time target Paulinho.

JUVE-INTER: WHAT SPITES!

Many crossroads regarding the transfer market as both clubs competting on three objectives: Verratti, Destro and Giovinco.
Juve are pressing on Siena for the striker while the Nerazzurri to temp the talented Pescara player and then they meet Parma.

screenshot20120523at105.png

DUEL AND SPITES!

Inter are against Juve for three young stars. There is also Giovinco.
Poison on the transfer market: the Nerazzurri also challenge Milan for Silvestre and Roma for Borini.

Juve are in line for Mattia Destro and Inter are trying to trip the Bianconeri for Marco Verratti but that’s not all. The Nerazzurri are also attacking for Seba Giovinco knowing that the Bianconeri would be in great obstacle to solve the co-ownership deal with Parma. All happened in just a few hours with meetings between all the teams and that was not the only thing. Also poisons. The season closed just a few days ago with a lot of controversy between the new Italian champions and Milan. Under the radar was also Inter because the reality is Inter and Juventus were never faded in terms of spitting venom against one another. Starting with the strong protest on the third star and now ironically, both clubs are also challenging one another for three young stars in Destro, Verrati and Giovinco.

screenshot20120523at105.png

Yesterday we saw important accelerations on both fronts. If on one hand we have Juve director Beppe Marotta meeting Enrico Preziosi for Destro, on the other hand Marco Branca met with Pescara directors for Verratti and as well as Pietro Leonardi of Parma for Seba Giovinco. Everything happened at around the same time showing that transfer market men for Agnelli and Moratti have a clear mandate to make life difficult for their hated and historic rival. Massimo Moratti has decided to bring back home Mattia Destro, a gem that matured in the youth system of Inter so Juve are considered to be an intrusion. An unkindness that deserves appropriate response… As much as Inter love players like Verratti and Giovinco, their play for these players have the effect of spite. Not only that, watch for the duels between Inter and Roma for Borini and with Milan for Silvestre of Palermo.

DESTRO: STORMING BIANCONERI. MAROTTA SEES PREZIOSI

Late yesterday afternoon there was a meeting held in Milan, a interlocutory meeting between Marotta and Preziosi to talk about Mattia Destro. There was also some discussion regarding Immobile who is half way between Genoa and Juve one that could be used as a pawn to exchange with the Rossoblu. Destro remains the first choice for Inter and his co-ownership is still unsolved between Genoa and Siena

Preziosi cannot start a real negotiation until in his hand is the entire card of the player. Siena value their half at six million while Genoa are offering only at 5. Including players as counterparts could also help here. The decisive step is obviously the offers coming in for the Italian strikers. Inter want to get half of Destro from Genoa but there is a gap: Inter are offering 7-8 million while Preziosi want 10. The Nerazzurri have also gone a step further by presenting their offer to the player’s agents: a five-year deal, 1.2 million a season. Juve are waiting and convinced that the tactical vision of Conte would excite the boy. The Turin club has also prepared an offer: a five-year deal at 1 million per. Juve’s offer is growing so is the level of intrigue.

VERRATTI: BRANCA-PESCARA BUT HE LEANS TOWARDS JUVE

Another meeting in the afternoon with a strong attack by Inter. Here is the latest raid by Inter on one of the brightest talents in Italy: we are talking about Marco Verratti who until yesterday was closer to Juve than anyone else but now Inter are closing the distance. This is the story of an idea born weeks ago and has just become concrete yesterday in a meeting at Inter headquarters: Daniele Delli Carri (Pescara sporting director), Daniele Sebastiani (club president), Marco Branca and Ausilio were all present. Marco Verratti, one that has Juve as the team in his heart, should now be aware of Inter who has made a more favorable impression by offering 10 million to Pescara plus two youngsters (Caldirola or Benedetti and Livaja). However, it seems certain that the player will stay for another year at least to play in Serie A for the currently promoted team.

Pescara, satisfied with this proposal for the boy but certainly sensitive to Juve’s interest, have taken time to reflect. Let’s recall that the player is a Juventus fan and the Turin club is viewing him as a future Pirlo. That said Inter are there. Stimulated by both the quality of the player but also by seeing Juve have now gone after one of their main targets in Destro. This idea has a clear endorsement of Stramaccioni, a coach that knows the player since he was 15 years old and repeatedly has tried to sign the player. Now it is Juve’s turn to move. Everything is open.

GIOVINCO: MEETING WITH PARMA.

Yesterday must be the day of seizing opportunities by the Nerazzurri. The most delicious surprise in the afternoon was when Inter met Parma to discuss many players including the one name that you would not expect: Sebastian Giovinco. Parma, a year ago, got their half from Juve and after a stratospheric season, his situation is one of the more complex knots to untie.

Parma value their half of the player at 15 million but can let go for 10 if they have a half of each player like Mariga, Crisetig, Nwakwo and others that are co-owned between the two clubs. For Inter, this is an alternative channel for Lavezzi, the player that PSG are still showing interest. If problems are solved with Parma, Inter would have a rematch on the transfer market with Juve because the Bianconeri have the other half of Giovinco. There was talk about Fabio Boini, possible plan b for Destro. Parma value their half at 8 million and the other belongs to Roma. Good battle here as well.

***

Another decisive and important contact made between Inter and Napoli yesterday for Ezequiel Lavezzi. In which, Inter have officially made an offer for the Argentinian forward: according to Sky Sport 24, the offer currently on the table is 12-13 million of cash, Goran Pandev and the entire card of Giampaolo Pazzini. This is an offer that will bring this whole operation forward because Inter believe that there has not been an offer from Paris Saint-Germain while Anzhi, the newest club interested in Lavezzi, are continue to slip away.

Contacts between the two presidents Massimo Moratti and Aurelio De Laurentiis are frequent and continuous. Plan B would be Sebastian Giovinco but Lavezzi is, without a doubt, the first target for the dream attack of Stramaccioni. Not only Stramaccioni would like to have him in his plan, even Massimo Moratti appreciates the Argentinian very much. So now waiting for further contacts and responses…

***

Speaking to ForzaPescara.tv, Donato Di Campli, lawyer and agent of Marco Verratti, reveals how things are for the future of his client by leaving all doors open:

“The boy is in the national team and thinking of playing for the Azzurri everything else is just gossip. Juve? There is no agreement of any kind. The club is aware of the interest from other clubs and now the ball belongs to Pescara to decide even if Marco has said that he wants to stay here for next season. Credible options for him? We have not heard from anybody and everything is to be evaluated.”

***

Stefano Capozucca, Genoa sporting director, discusses all the negotiations involving Inter or in particularly Mattia Destro and Rodrigo Palacio. One could come and the other is already an Inter player.

“Destro? There is a negotiation with Siena for him (Destro is co-owned by Genoa and Siena). There has already been a conversation between the two presidents and we hope that soon there is white smoke that can solve this situation. For Palacio, for a sale to be confirmed we need three things. The selling club which is Genoa and we have sold him, the buying club which is Inter and they have bought him and then finally the signature of the player. Palacio will have a medical over the weekend and that can finally ratify everything. Rome were also interested but the difference was the commitment from Preziosi with Moratti. Inter have long been a priority.”

***

New rumors on the front of Mauricio Isla. The player is liked very much at Inter which are doing everything it can to bring him to the San Siro. According to Sky, the first choice for Udinese is Philippe Coutinho however he is considered very important in this new project of Andrea Stramaccioni and so the club will not let him go.

So, the latest rumor is that the Bianconeri could try to include a couple of youngsters in negotiations in Bessa and Duncan (on loan or in co-ownership), the two gems of Inter Primavera which were important pieces in recent success in NextGen Series.

***

He was close to join Atletico Mineiro. Then he was just a few steps away from moving to a Spanish club. Regardless of possible destinations, Diego Forlan seemed to be on his way out of Inter. But now despite numerous rumors of an Inter exit, the Uruguayan is actually thinking of staying for next season. According to rumors gathered by Tuttomercatoweb.com, Diego Forlan has in fact instructed his agent Daniel Bolotnicoff to contact president Massimo Moratti to let him know about the striker’s willingness to say. Developments are expected as early as next week.

***

Cosme Rimoli, a Brazilian journalist of Record, talks about Paulinho with details on his website.

“President Mario Gobbi who took over earlier this year has closed the sale of Paulinho to Inter for 12 million euros but now the directors of Corinthians want the president to re-think about it because they think that the price is too low. Before the start of the Copa Libertadores, Gobbi already said that this deal would close at that figure. For the player, he does not seem too convinced of a return to Europe because his first experience at the age of 17 was traumatizing. The agents brought him to Poland and then Lithuania and he was the victim of racism. Yesterday Paulinho celebrated with great emotion the goal against Vasco and much of this excitement is due to the fact that he knows negotiations with Inter are in an advanced stage. Corinthians directors want the player to stay here at least until December but Gobbi has already given his OK to Inter.”

PSG OFFER 26 MILLION
LAVEZZI, INTER TREMBLE

Here is the humongous offer from Paris: to Pocho is also 4.5 million euros just like the proposed salary from Moratti. Now the ball is in De Laurentiis’ court.

Milan – We waited and finally it has arrived. The huge offer from PSG is now on the desk of Aurelio De Laurentiis which should bring Napoli millions while a lot of concerns for the plans that Inter have: 26 million is the package prepared by Al-Thaani, PSG boss, with the attachment of 4.5 million euros for the player. Days ago Aronica said: “When Pocho saluted us, he said bonjour…” A joke perhaps. Now the ball is in De Laurentiis’ court but especially Lavezzi’s. Paris Saint-Germain chose a precise strategy in order to steal Lavezzi away from Inter: defining agreement with the player and then making an offer that close to Napoli’s demand of 31 million euros.

Fight of salaries The offered salary to Lavezzi is about 4.5 million euros a season (the same offer from Inter) as well as a series benefits including numerous airline tickets to Argentinian (where his son Thomas is), a luxurious car and a penthouse in an elegant area in Paris. So all the pieces are in place once De Laurentiis decided to accept the offer of 26 million euros. A figure that does not cover entirely the release clause of the player but it represents a major effort by the club of Leonardo.

Moratti, De La and relationship And how will Moratti respond? The people at Inter are convinced that the Nerazzurri are the number one preference of Lavezzi because there is a colony of Argentinians, because contacts between Lavezzi and Napoli are (or were) constant and because already last summer, Inter were the favorite to land Edu Vargas before “pass” him to Napoli in January. And then it is clear that De Laurentiis (who absolutely wants 30.8 million rather than technical counterparts) perhaps prefers to send Lavezzi abroad however there is the strong rapport with Massimo Moratti. Now we will have to wait to understand more about the thought process of both Napoli president and the player.

***

Inter the other day took some notes and watched him very closely in the game against Vasco da Gama where Paulinho scored a goal for his Corinthians. Rumors from Brazil suggest that there is already an agreement between Inter and Corinthians of 12 million euros for the 23 year-old. But for Paulinho, the focus is always on the field and perform for his team:

“At the moment I only think of playing on the field and winning the Libertadores. And then after that, we will see.”

***

A few days ago it seemed that Diego Forlan was as good as gone. Many clubs, reportedly, were interested in the service of the Uruguayan striker but now his agent has come out and denied all:

“Diego Forlan has a contract with Inter and he will stay. Again he has a two-year contract with Inter and those who want him must pay a sum close to the value of Didier Drogba. Club America? There is nothing true, I never spoke with the Mexicum club. It is a lie that we are offering the player to them.”

***

The day has come. After being linked to Inter in such a long time of over a year, Rodrigo Palacio has landed at the Linate airport in Milan to complete the final details to become an Inter player officially. What are that final details? “Do I feel like an Interista already? Still missing the signature…” In the next few hours the Argentinian will have a medical exam and then he will sign the contract that ties him to Inter.

According to many reports, the agreement between Inter and Genoa is at 11 million euros and Palacio should sign a three-year deal and become one of the focal points for Stramaccioni’s team next season.

***

The agent of Kwadwo Asamoah could meet Inter next week however, on his agenda that is not the only meeting that he will have in the upcoming days as a conversation with Juventus and also Napoli will also take place. Asamoah is one of the more important players that Udinese have and he had a vital role in pushing the Bianconeri to the Champions League spot for next season.

***

Directly from Coverciano, Sebastian Giovinco, the jewel of Parma and one has interest from Inter are as well as the other clubs, explains his current situation without closing the doors to Inter.

“I am not thinking about the transfer market at the moment but only concentrating on the national team. I have already said my intention and in football you never know but I have already said what I want. I feel ready for a big club and like I did three years ago but did not have the opportunity to play. Now with this past season, I think I will have that opportunity again.”

***

Massimo Moratti said today that “step by step, we will see about making more moves.” One of those moves could be for the highly sought after Nuri Sahin, the Turkish midfielder for Real Madrid who did not have his best season last year due to injuries. So now his agent is seeking options by meeting with several clubs including the two in Milan.

A few days ago, there was a meeting with Milan at their headquarters as well as a more informal meeting with Inter emissaries. But according to Sky Sport 24, Reza Fazeli, agent, is looking to deepen the interest from Inter for his client and next week he will return to Milan to have a formal meeting with Inter transfer market men in Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio.

***

Having landed in Milan just a few hours ago, Rodrigo Palacio is ready to make his arrival at Inter official. According to multiple reports, the Argentinian striker will undergo a physical this weekend perhaps even today and then he will sign the contract which will tie him at Inter for the next several seasons. Based on the new information from Mediaset, Palacio is ready to sign a three-year deal, 2.5 million per season, thus he will make 7.5 million in that duration of the contract. In terms of transfer fee, to Genoa should be 10.5 million for their leading goalscorer this past season.

***

Confirmations are coming. Inter like Marco Verratti and this interest coming from the Nerazzurri is not an act of disturbing or to make life difficult for their hated rival: Juventus. Branca and Ausilio have been following him for some time and there was at least one meeting. To confirm this is Daniele Delli Carri, sporting director of Pescara.

“Our intention is to keep Marco. Of course, if a big offer arrives then we could not do much other than to rightfully so please the boy. Inter? Yes there is interest, it would be pointless to pretend that there is not. However, they are not the only club that following Verratti. Many other clubs want him. We want to keep him for another year so that he can mature better.”

***

Inter are actively looking for more reinforcements for the defense especially now that Lucio and Chivu are on their way out of the club and Cordoba has retired from football. Many names have emerged in the past few weeks but none is more hotter than Matias Silvestre, the 27 year-old center back of Palermo.

To the microphones of Radio Marte, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini explains the situation of his player who is liked not only by Inter and Milan: “We will have to wait for the right offer for Silvestre to go. Napoli? they have never asked me for the player.”

***

He arrived at Inter headquarters roundly 18:00 local time. With him, there were also sporting director Piero Ausilio and technical director Marco Branca as all three were heading inside to polish the final detail to make Rodrigo Palacio an official Inter player: the contract signing. As he was on his way out about an hour later the Argentinian said: “I am very happy to be here at Inter.” Even Marco Branca had a few words: “Yes now it is official. Other deals on the transfer market? No, not now. Official presentation will be almost at the start of next season.”

Palacio meanwhile was smiling and taking pictures with a fan.

***

Pretty much all of Inter fans are convinced: Cristian Chivu will leave Inter this summer especially after the confirmation from his agent:
“Chivu will leave Inter probably and it is the best thing for him. Galatasaray are a possible destination but they are not the only one. Fenerbahce are also interested, there are other team as well and now we have time to think about it. As I said Chivu wants to try a new experience after playing 9 years in Italy, in a league with an incredible pressure, and he has won many trophies.”

Even more confirmation this time from Turkey that Chivu will leave Inter and is looking at a foreign destination. According to the Turkish press, Galatasaray seem to be the favorite after offering 3 million per season.

***

Inter are actively looking to strengthen the team defensively now that Chivu, Cordoba and Lucio are on their way out of the club. Some of the names currently for the defense are Marco Andreolli, Matias Silvestre and Andreas Granqvist but the one name that has not had a lot of attention is Mateo Musacchio. According to Radio ESED, an Argentinian source, the Nerazzurri are very interested in signing the defender of Villareal, the team that will be playing in a lower division next season. But on his track there are also Roma and Napoli.

***
Here is another name for the defense: Igor Lichnovsky. Inter have been interested in the young Chilean defender for quite some time and they even sent their head scout Valentino Angeloni to watch him action last week. So now according to Prensafutbol, Inter are ready to make the official step by making an offer for the defender of Universidad de Chile, an offer of about 4-5 million euros. Competition for Pique Azul is strong with Chelsea but it seems that Inter are in a more advantage stage of negotiation and thus have a slight advantage.

***

Diego Forlan
does not lack rumors about his future. Many clubs are following the striker especially in Brazil with Aletico Mineiro who have tried everything to acquire his service. But now everything is pointing towards him staying and redeeming himself with our shirt for next season. Here is what he has to say in the post game interview against Russia:

“I will stay at Inter because I have a contract to respect. Next year we will fight for the Scudetto there is no doubt about it. Andrea Stramaccioni is a very good coach certainty and with him we can go far.”

***

PSG sporting director Leonardo discusses the French club’s past season and also about the transfer market strategies of the club:

“Our first year is good. I am happy that PSG are followed even in Italy. The transfer market is unpredictable because it moves very quickly. We are just at the beginning and still have three months left. We want to take action but we are studying and reflecting on how to make these moves. 26 million for Lavezzi? There is nothing concrete, nothing official. All clubs are still studying it and it will take a move by some one to trigger all these deals. But again we are just starting…”

Enrico Preziosi, Genoa president, in an interview with Radio Mana Mana, reveals even more on the behind the scene situation on the deal that has brought Palacio to Inter.

“I did everything to keep Palacio. He had three great years with us in which he gave everything as a footballer and as a person. Inter do not know what a good deal that they have got. I signed Gilardino in January to form a great attacking partnership with Palacio this happened. In Novara, Palacio was spit on and he, just like others, asked to be transferred and so I satisfied him. Roma actually made a better offer than Inter by two million but three hours before I had already shaken hands with Moratti.”

SPRINT LAVEZZI

“Increase our offer? Depends…” But first will meet with Napoli.
Leonardo, in Italy with a super offer, reveals: “I would go back to Inter but not now.”

Milan – “I don’t know much about Lavezzi but I think that the offer from PSG is very interesting. Increase our offer? It depends.” Massimo Moratti obviously does not mind leaving us in suspense with that sentence. The few and sincere words spoken yesterday just outside of his offices in Saras sum up the situation around Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Situation The Inter president was out of Milan for a few days, business reasons. Only yesterday that he could meet his transfer market men in Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio so that he could be updated on the current state of all negotiations. And he was informed of the official offer from PSG of 26 million to Napoli and 4.5 million to the player which he has described as “interesting.” For Inter, the offer is less pompous but definitely concrete: Pandev, a young player and cash or Pazzini, Pandev and with less cash. So after having to listen to Branca and Ausilio, Moratti will take a couple of days to reflect. Next week, perhaps as early as Monday, a new direct contact with his colleague Aurelio De Laurentiis would be established. The Napoli president wants 30.8 million cash for his player rather than players in exchange.

Contact Let’s recall that on May 7, the Napoli boss was seen in Saras offices in Milan, Inter headquarters. He of course tried to minimize it by diverting the argument about shopping but it was clear what was the motivation of his presence. It was the opportunity to talk about Pocho face to face with Massimo Moratti, trying to figure out how far one could go and what the other was getting at. And now, for the next contact, Massimo Moratti will try to understand the situation even more so that he can either: raise or pull out of negotiations. That is why the deceleration of the Inter president yesterday during lunch hour was true. That “depends” was sincere. Once you understand the situation, he will evaluate everything.

Leonardo The Brazilian of PSG is in Italy, in Brianza precisely, for the baptism of his youngest son, Tiago, which will be celebrated today. The PSG director has sidestepped the questions regarding Lavezzi (“No official offer, nothing is concrete”) but on the preference of a return between Inter and Milan, he said: “I would choose Inter but not at this moment.”

KOLAROV FOR INTER
AND JUVE ASK FOR ISLA

Offer from Inter to City after contact with the Bianconeri.
Next week, Udinese will see two clubs for the Chilean.

Milan – There is already a new episode in the series of “spites” between Juventus and Inter: on the list of transfer targets, there are two new names that both clubs are going after: Kolarov and Isla.

From Kolarov… So after the overtaking of Juve against Inter for Mattia Destro and that one attempt by the Nerazzurri for the rising star of Pescara Marco Verratti, here is where the new clash comes in. Juve have been working for a few days to bring the City leftback to Turin and have asked the English club for a loan move. However, a loan move is not the solution appreciated by the champions of England. City are willing to part ways with the defender but only with a good offer having just bought him from Lazio for 19 million euros. Inter, however, are open to purchase the player outright and studying the ideal solution to convince City to let him go. Of course, we are only at the very early stage of negotiations which will not be easy but the interest from Inter is serious and it is not a mystery that Kolarov already has his suitcase ready to leave now that Clichy is the starting left back for City. A return to Italy would be very welcome to take the place of Chivu at Inter.

… to Isla Is it over here? Not at all. The other plot is linked to the name of Marcelo Isla, Chilean fullback of Udinese, who recently said that: “If I have the opportunity to chose, I would go to Inter because they have always wanted and talked to me.” But of course in the last few hours, Juve have contacted the player’s agent and also have made an appointment to see Udinese next week. In Friuli, they like Coutinho but Inter do not seem willing to surrender while Juve could bring to the table the card of Pazienza (in Udine in the last six months) but also Marrone. Everything should be clearer next week.

***

From the studios of Sky Sport 24 come new rumors regarding the transfer market strategies of Inter. According to Peppe di Stefano, a Sky transfer expert, Inter are going to continue shopping for next season:

Palacio yesterday signed a three-year deal and already met with president Moratti. But Inter will not stop, they want to continue shopping. Lavezzi is the number one goal for the Nerazzurri while for the midfield, it is expected that there should be a meeting with Nuri Sahin’s agent next week.”

***

He is by far the most discussed name for the Inter midfield next season. The Nerazzurri are very interested to the point that they sent two scouts to watch Paulinho play a few days ago in a game where he scored a goal against Vasco da Gama. In addition, rumors from Brazil are that Corinthians president, Mario Gobbi, has already given the OK to send Paulinho to Inter for 12 million euros. In all of this, the player is not paying attention and distracted with transfer rumors: “No my head is not on something else, I am only thinking about Corinthians.” Even more so now that his team is in the Copa Libertadores semifinals against Santos FC.

***

A change of heart on the part of De Laurentiis perhaps? It is well documented that the Napoli president only wants cash for Ezequiel Lavezzi, all 30.8 million. But now it seems like there is a change of idea. In an interview with the newspaper Il Mattino, Napoli director Riccardo Bigon discusses the future of the Argentinian striker who is being followed very closely by Inter: “There have been several open discussions, nothing concrete yet and anything can happen. No offer has arrived for the player. Preference in cash or players in exchange? It depends on the offer, either one of them could be a solution. We will have to do our evaluation.” Those are the words that show openness to the solution of Inter (cash + Pandev + one more player) while PSG want only insert cash in the deal.

***

It is the end of Sulley Muntari’s six-month loan at Milan and he is a free agent and can sign with any club. When asked if he would return to Inter, the Ghanaian has no doubt: “No, I want only Milan.” And now it seems that Milan will grant him his wish. The Rossoneri are ready to give the highly rated midfielder a two year contract. Milan and Muntari are destined to be together. Best of luck.

***

Inter are always working to get talents for the future. According to Sky transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have captured two very young Portuguese young talents.

“Inter are finalizing the purchase of Agostinho Cà, midfielder born in ’93 from Sporting Lisbon. Only missing the minor details to close the deal. Agostinho Cà will go and play for Novara and will be co-owed by both clubs. For Inter, this is the second young player coming from Sporting Lisbon after Edgar Iè, the player that the Nerazzurri have taken at no cost due to the contract expiration.”

***

Directly from the studios of Sky sport 24, come more news about the operation for Nuri Sahin. According to report, the Turkish midfielder of Real Madrid is really appreciated by the Inter directors who will meet the player’s agent next week. Then, the club will decide whether or not to invest on the young midfielder. The demand from Real? 10 million euros.

***

Other than Igor Lichnovksy, Matias Silvestre, Inter are also looking at Angelo Ogbonna, the defender of the newly promoted Torino. However, since he is one of the best talents in Italy, he comes with a steep price. “Ogbonna is worth 20 million euros and has a contract until 2016 with our club. There is absolutely no intention of selling him,” Urbano Cairo, chairman of Torino.

***

Everything is still in balance and as Pandev is waiting for news on the front of the transfer market, the Macedonian is ready to return to Milan after the one-year loan at Napoli. According to sources close to the player, Goran Pandev has left his home in the Posillipo neighborhood and on his way back to Inter. Everything is in stand-by. Pandev is pushing for a Napoli stay and Walter Mazzarri has explicitly asked president Aurelio De Laurentiis to retain the Macedonian. But now with the unsolved mystery of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Goran Pandev is on vacation and will return to Inter momentarily and at that point, he will understand how he will be used in the deal for Ezequiel Lavezzi.

If il Pocho ended up in France with Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli will start to discuss the future of Pandev with Inter regardless how the Argentinian’s future. And at this point, the huge salary requested by Pandev would be a problem for Napoli and let’s not forget that Pandev does not lack big offers from abroad. especially Spain. So a future to be determined, for him and for Lavezzi. Goran is waiting for answers…

Atletico Mineiro have officially said goodbye to Diego Forlan. Both fans and the president of the club, Alexandre Kalil, will not be able to achieve the dream that is seeing El Cacha playing at the Mineirao stadium. The Brazilian club did make a strong effort economically but wasn’t enough to convince the Uruguayan striker to leave Inter. Here is the president:

“It was impossible to reach an agreement with the player. He is earning 10 million in two seasons at Inter and we cold not guarantee him a similar salary. So we could not come to an agreement. We tried to negotiate but we could not reach a compromise. Our fans want him at all costs but unfortunately we cannot go beyond our means.”

According to some rumors, Atletico Mineiro offered Forlan a three-year deal at around 2 million per season.

***

Luis Figo has also found himself discussing the transfer market especially regarding Ezequiel Lavezzi. Speaking to Torneo Arco di Trento after the match between Inter Forever and Bayern All Stars, here is what the Portuguese had to say:

“Taking a player like Ezequiel Lavezzi is always a right thing because he has quality. For Inter, this is only a hypothesis so it is better to wait because he is not an Inter player and we will see what happens. He certainly has the quality to do well everywhere.”

***

Last week Nuri Sahin’s agent, Reza Fazeli, met with Adriano Galliani right at Milan headquarters but that was the story of last week. Next week it is Inter’s turn to have a formal meeting with the agent to discuss the possibility of him joining the Nerazzurri. According to Manuel Baiocchini of Sky Sport, this is going to be a Milan derby for the Turkish international.

“Sahin? There will be a transfer market derby for him. Everything is yet to be defined but Real Madrid are asking 10 million and after the meeting between agent and Galliani, next week, the same agent will meet with Inter directors. We then will see if the Nerazzurri are really interested. The player is certainly very interesting but last season he had many difficulties.”

***

Were there rumors that Juve have overtaken Inter as the favorite to land Mattia Destro? Overtaking, at least so far, has never existed. According to the Corriere dello Sport which reported a blitz by Inter for Mattia Destro in the same negotiations that led Palacio to the Inter shirt. The newspaper understands that there is already a reached agreement with Genoa for the striker and now we only need to wait until the situation with Siena untangles itself. But again for the Rome based newspaper, “Destro is coming to Inter” despite strong competition from several other clubs. But no overtaking “because Inter have already had the OK during the Palacio deal.” Inter are now pole position over the rest of the teams involved such as Juventus, Roma and Napoli thanks a verbal agreement that Moratti has now had from Enrico Preziosi, Genoa president.

There is, however, the need to find agreement with Siena which could not find an agreement with Genoa after two meetings. The Bianconeri have asked Genoa for players in exchange, something that Inter are willing to offer. We are talking about half of Juraj Kucka, the ownership of Romano and a figure of roughly 5-7 million euros. In addition, the Nerazzurri are willing to loan to Siena Samuele Longo for which Massimo Moratti has renewed the co=ownership with Genoa a few weeks ago.

***

Agostinho Cà is now an Inter player. To confirm his arrival to Italy here is his agent Paolo Rodrigues who spoke to calciomercato.com and confirmed the that everything is done. “The two clubs have reached an agreement. He will be in Italy in the next few days to sign the contract and to discuss with Inter the possible options.” There was talk that the player will be co-owned between Inter and Novara but this was not confirmed by the agent. “I cannot tell if he will go to Novara or not but I can assure you that the boy is very happy.”

Obviously the victory of Inter in NextGen Series has increased the club’s prestige at the youth level. This is demonstrated by the fact that the Sporting Lisbon midfielder has chosen Inter out of strong competition such as Barcelona, PSV and Atletico Madrid. Not only Agostinho Cà because Inter have also got Edgar Ié at zero cost (contract expired). So now the youth system of Inter is considered, internationally, one of the best if not the best.

***

The journey to find defensive players continues for Inter. With the likely departure of Lucio, Chivu and of course Cordoba, Inter are in need to revamp its back four. And here we have a new name: Francesco Acerbi, the 24 year-old center back currently playing at Chievo. To confirm interest from the Nerazzurri here is the player’s agent Andrea Cattoli:

“I know that Inter are interested in the boy but they have never come to speak with me. There is also Milan as well. The price? I think he is worth at least 10 million and that figure will keep on rising.”

***

The Lavezzi soap opera continues. If a few weeks ago Inter seemed to be the favorite to land the Argentinian, today, it is another story with the interest coming from France and specifically Paris Saint-Germain. The majority of Italian media believe that PSG have officially offered 26 million euros to Napoli for its player’s service despite continuous denial on the part of the French club (Leonardo: “No official offer, there is nothing concrete”).

And with that offer, including the 4.5 million to the player, PSG are now the favorite to sign Ezequiel Lavezzi. According to Carlo Lausida, journalist of the Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a 30% chance that that will happen. “Lavezzi to Inter? At the moment I think that the chances are at 30 in 100 that this deal will happen.”

Next week should be a decisive week for the Napoli player because there should be a meeting between both clubs to understand the intention.

***

The Corriere dello Sport explains how the development for Mattia Destro has developed and how Inter are now in the absolute pole position for the 21 year-old Italian striker:

“Not just for Palacio. In a phone call, which became a formal meeting, between Preziosi and Moratti last week, the two presidents not only defined the transfer of the Argentinian to Inter for 10 million which is payable in three years. In the cordial face-to-face the two presidents have now closed a few negotiations in recent years and the most talked about is of course the one of Mattia Destro. Genoa, in fact, have made a commitment to sell Destro to the Nerazzurri based on a strong verbal agreement signed in January in 2011. That story is well known (Inter did not have the cash to get Ranocchia and so we had to sacrifice the entire card of Destro with a promise that the Nerazzurri would have a priority for the future) and now Moratti has asked Preziosi to respect his words. The Genoa boss, which is an honorable man, did not pull out of that agreement and now he has became an alliance that Inter have.”

SPRINT FOR LAVEZZI

There is a meeting between Moratti and De Laurentiis today.
After the 26 million from PSG, Inter president to meet Napoli to decide on the possible offer increase.

We are entering a decisive week for the future of Inter. The team today is going to leave Indonesia while its transfer market men will intensity the work on the transfer market. After a trip abroad recent days, Massimo Moratti returned to Italy last Friday and was informed immediately by Branca and Ausilio on negotiations for two top targets: Ezequiel Lavezzi and Mattia Destro.

Pocho front
The Assembly of Lega today could bring to Milan Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for a meeting with his Interista counterpart for Lavezzi but with the strong relationship between the two, a phone call could be just enough to unlock the situation. The next move is up to Moratti who was noted of the 26 million offer of PSE which is very close to the 30.8 fixed price for Pocho and also the 4.5 million to the player. The Inter boss will have to decide to raise or hope that the feeling with DeLa and the player’s preference would be enough. Inter have proposed the entire card of Goran Pandev, whose loan will expire June 30, a young player and cash. An alternative solution would be instead of a Primavera player, half of Pazzini could be the offer together with a lower cash amount.

Destro front Not easy is the track that leads to Milan Mattia Destro who is co-owned between Genoa and Siena. Thanks to a strong relationship with Preziosi, Inter already have an agreement in principle with the Ligurians. The Nerazzurri, however, must first reach agreement with Siena to get the rest of the card. Genoa value Siena’s half at 5 million, the Bianconeri want 6. On this front, both clubs could meet also today as well. Inter are offering half of Kucka, a young player and cash. The young player here could be Samuele Longo the player that Siena would love to have on loan.

Silvestre Defensively, Inter could also sit at a table with Palermo. At stake is the future of Emiliano Viviano who is an extra weapon that Inter have to overtake Milan for the Matias Silvestre front. Tomorrow could be the day of Chivu. Chivu does not seem too convince of a solution in Turkey so he is leaning towards a permanent stay in black and blue by accepting an offer of one-year deal (option for the second year) or at most 2 + 1 (two-year contract plus option for third). Meanwhile Atletico Mineiro are thinking of the possibility of backing out of Forlan negotiations. Yesterday the president announced that he could not afford the asking salary which is almost 9 million gross a year. After Cà and Lé from Sporting Lisbon, Inter are very close to confirm Bocar, born ’94 and Italian champion with the Berretti of Sergio Zanetti.

German Clubs After Pandev

There is a lot of movement regarding Goran Pandev after a one-year loan at Napoli. The Macedonian, under contract with Inter until 2015, is one of the key player for Inter to get their hands on Pandev. But according to Calciomercato, Werder Bremen have become an interested club for the player. However, it seems that everything is frozen at the moment because Pandev has already declined offers from Germany.

So what is the reason for this rejection from Pandev to Werder Bremen? Is it because he wants to stay at Napoli or he wants to return to Inter? No, the reason is that there is another German team, a big German team: Bayern Munich which had some interest on the player in the past. Pandev has ambitions and does not want to go on a loan at Napoli (prefer permanent stay) or another year where he is not going to play much perhaps at Inter. So he is looking for a team that is willing to invest for him.

Meeting Strama-Management To Discuss Transfer Targets

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, a meeting is already planned in the next few days between Andrea Stramaccioni and Inter transfer market men Branca and Ausilio before the Italian coach leaves for summer vacation. Strama will discuss the transfer market which has several names from possible outgoing transfers to Destro, Silvestre, De Jong and especially Lavezzi. Moratti and De Laurentiis heard from each other on Saturday and probably today there will be a new telephone contact to see how far Inter can push by including several players for Lavezzi.

***

From Turkey: Sahin To Inter Possible

Even people in Turkey believe in the possibility of an Italian future for Nuri Sahin. Several Turkish websites and newspapers ensure that the departure from Real Madrid is very possible for Nuri Sahin because the player wants to play as a starter. On this track there are several teams including Inter, Milan but also Bayern Munich and his former club Borussia Dortmund.

***

Lavezzi’s Agent To Have Lunch In Milan

A lunch in Milan. Casual lunch? According to the Gazzetta dello Sport no. Ezequiel Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni is hanging out in the streets of the city of Milan at these hours. And this is not a random. The newspaper reports of a lunch in the center of the city and in a “well known” restaurant. This visit by the agent of Lavezzi cannot be without any other reasons besides the transfer market.

“This visit is viewed as increasing interest on the part of the Nerazzurri towards the player who is under contract at Napoli.” Inter have not given up on Lavezzi despite the big offer coming from PSG for the player as well as the club. Moratti and De Laurentiis continue to hear from one another and will not close negotiations completely. We should not rule out possible contact again in the next few hours.

Yes, PSG’s offer is huge (26 million to Napoli, 4.5 million to the player) but this competition is not insurmountable because Pocho is leaving the Nerazzurri doors open. This is not over yet…

***

De Laurentiis: “Lavezzi’s Will Is Important”

A few minutes ago, Napoli president De Laurentiis has finally spoken out on the future of Ezequiel Lavezzi:

“What important here is the need of the player but whoever want il Pocho must pay the clause. There is an bidding war going on internationally because even in China, there is interest for Lavezzi. But the decisive thing here will be what Ezequiel wants.”

Inter Offered Five Million For Alexis Rolin

New rumors regarding the future of Alexis Rolin, Nacional defender and Inter’s new target. It seems that the Nerazzurri have made an offer of 5 million euros in order to beat out Udinese and Parma, the other two clubs interested in Rolin. The player is liked very much by Inter so much so that an Inter scout was present on Sunday night in Uruguay to watch his positive performance in which he scored a goal. Alexis Rolin is regarded by many people as the best defender in South America.

STRAMA UNTIL 2015 WITH LAVEZZI IN MIND

Three-year contract for the coach, 500 thousand euros plus bonuses.
Napoli on Lavezzi: “He will decide.” Juan Jesus in the deal?

Milan – Done deal. “We have renewed Stramaccioni for three years,” said Massimo Moratti as he was leaving his Saras offices. Stramaccioni left after a short meeting with Branca and Ausilio saying, “We’re fired up”, after a concrete meeting with the president on Monday. The Roman coach has signed until 2015 with a salary (increased) of around 500 thousand euros. Strama already has Palacio has his service. And perhaps he will also have Lavezzi for which the torment continues without stops.

The will of Pocho This was confirmed by the number one Interista: “We (with De Laurentiis) said that we’d be in touch, but neither of us has been able to as we’ve both been busy. When was the last time we heard from each other? We will talk again.” Massimo Moratti explained yesterday that this situation is not going to end and the Lavezzi chapter will remain an issue to be addressed separately. This issue is still wide open. In all of this, here is Napoli president who reveals: “We have to take the 31 million into account because the contract is clear but the will and need of the player will count a lot and will be essential. There is an international bidding ward because there are proposals for him even from China (it seems the club of Lippi, Guangzhou Evergrande). If he decided to return to Napoli, we would be ready to have him again.” This hypothesis, however, is remote because the track leading to Inter is very open. And the words of De Laurentiis, “the will of the player”, is the most important and that will has been pushing him to the city of Milan for some time.

Pandev, cash and Juan Jesus? The Nerazzurri to meet Lavezzi’s desire will put on the table a young player on loan (Juan Jesus, Napoli already asked for him in January), cash, and of course Pandev. Yesterday in Milan Alejandro Mazzoni, Lavezzi’s agent, was seen dinning at Giannino and then rested in his room at the Principe di Savoia without being seen either in or out Moratti’s offices.

Headquarters traffic Yesterday was the day of meetings: Ausilio and Branca also met with Roberto Calenda to talk about Juan Jesus and Maicon. For the Brazilian right-back, talks have begun for the future: renewal or possible farewell? For Silvestre, Inter valued the 10 million asking price from Palermo is high but will continue to work on the deal with a secret weapon in hands: the co-ownership of Viviano. That is because in the headquarters there was also Vigorelli, agent of the goalkeeper and Destro (Genoa and Siena have to talk first to decide the faith).

Forlan: “Future Uncertain”

In an interview with LigandoBien, Diego Forlan talks about his uncertain future: “Where will I play? It is difficult to say today. I am a little more than 33 years old and have a one-year contract with the option for the second year at Inter. You see me, I do not show my age but I am not hiding it either. I know I do not have many years left to decide.”

Sahin Ignores Italy Rumors: “I Hope To Win More Trophies Here With Real”

He does not seem willing to leave Spain. Nuri Sahin has been a transfer target of both Inter and Milan in the last few days but the player has insisted that he wanted to continue winning with the shirt of Real.

“It was not an easy season but even if first year at this club would be complicated but I am convinced that the next will be better. Physically problems stopped me and this happened for several months but now I am fine and I have no problem. I hope to win many titles with Real and my dream is to win the Champions League with this club. If that happens, I would be the happiest man in the world. Mourinho? He is very demanding.”

***

Feyenoord Director: “Castaignos On Our List”

Martin Van Geel, Feyenoord director, discusses the timing of Castaignos and how it should play out. “First Castaignos should sit at the table with Inter to see if they would let him go. Then, if he got the green light then we will be sitting at the table with Inter. We hope to have a clearer situation in early June. But Castaignos is our candidate, he is on our list.”

This deal is believed to be a one-year loan as Feyenoord are looking at the Inter player to replace John Guidetti who is destined to return to Manchester City.

***

Sky: Meeting Inter-Sahin’s Agent After June 1

Despite recent statements coming from Nuri Sahin where he said that “next year will be better and I hope to win many titles with Real Madrid including the Champions League,” the meeting between Inter and his agent Reza Fazeli will go ahead according to Sky. On the agenda of Inter is a planned meeting after June 1st with the agent to discuss the player’s will as well as the demand of Real Madrid (10 million euros).

Marco Andreolli Close To An Inter Return

He is close to a return to his former club where he grew up in the youth system. Marco Andreolli, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, is very close to return to Inter after the Nerazzurri decided to speed things up for the 25 year-old defender.

“The most significant acceleration given in the last hours was coming from Inter who is determined to secure Andreolli who grew up as a nerazzurro,” Gazzetta reported. And here is the agent talking about the link between both parties: “Marco is linked to Inter is because he was the in the youth system at Inter and because he has proven to be one of the best defenders in the Italian league. He was a protagonist at Chievo and to me he is ready for a big club like Inter.”

***

Agent: “Galatasaray Like Chivu But He Could Stay”

Can Cristian Chivu really stay at Inter for next season? After saying “yes he will probably leave Inter and Italian football after nine years,” Victor Becali, agent, is now suggesting that he is going to need more time to get a clearer idea on the situation surrounding his client. “At the end of the week the situation could be more clear. Galatasaray are interested but we will see, at the moment I cannot say anything. He could also remain at Inter so we will see in the coming days.”

***

Agent of Faraoni: “Atalanta? No, He Remains At Inter”

There was a rumor about a meeting between Inter and Atalanta for Marco Davide Faraoni but now, his agent, Giovanni Bia has denied everything. In interview with TuttoAtalanta.com, he discusses about this very rumor: “I indeed deny story told by the newspapers. I met Atalanta, it is true, but not to discuss about the boy who is not going to leave Inter. I was in the office of President Moratti to have coffee with Marino and Zamagna, to discuss a different situation.”

***

Chievo director reveals: “I have spoken with Inter about Acerbi”

“I talked to many clubs about Acerbi and I also spoke with Inter.” This is the news revealed by the Chievo director Giovanni Sartori. Inter like Acerbi and so negotiations are underway. But these talks are not just for Acerbi. Yesterday the director was spotted in Milan, he could also discuss with Inter about Andreolli, one that grew up as Inter’s youth product and could return home soon. Juan Jesus could have a trip to Verona when Inter’s looking for a team that helps him to grow and that allows him to play continuously.

***

Turkish Press: “Chivu Would Be Happy To Accept Offer From Galatasaray But…”

The Turkish press has updated us on the potential transfer of Chivu to Galatasaray:

“At the on end of the contract, which is next month, Cristian Chivu will surely leave Inter. Galatasaray have confirmed the great interest towards the player and Chivu has also said that he would be willing and happy to accept the Turkish proposal. However, coach Fatih Terim is perplexed on the many injuries that Chivu suffered last season and thus is asking a very through and detailed medical examination. After checking the his health status, there will be time to ratify the player’s contract and then Chivu will start his new adventure with the Giallorossi.”

Moratti: “I Have Heard From De Laurentiis”

The duel between Inter and PSG for Ezequiel Lavezzi continues. Contacts between Moratti and De Laurentiis are constant and continuous as confirmed today by the Inter president: “Yes I have talked to De Laurentiis.” That was Moratti’s response to a question from a Gazzetta dello Sport journalist. Adding immediately after: “And no, there is no news in regards to Lavezzi.”

Perhaps this contact was solely for Pandev, who knows. Goran Pandev is the one player that Napoli want to sign to a permanent deal, an operation that will cost Napoli around 8 million euros.

This is despite L’Equipe talking of a go-ahead on PSG’s part to negotiate to acquire Lavezzi with his agent Alejandro Mazzoni ready to fly to Paris to meet with Leonardo and management. Even RMC is on the same wavelength of the newspaper L’Equipe. According to RMC, a source has told them that “Inter have decided to pull out of the bidding war for Ezequiel Lavezzi.”

Mertens Open: “Inter? Of Course I Would Think About It”

These days, the name of Dries Mertens has been approached by Inter often. The PSV player could leave Holland, but at the time, everything is slow and nothing is really concrete yet. “No one at Inter has spoken to me. Sure, Inter are not the latest club, of course I would think about this opportunity. But first I want to win the title with PSV, after that I will eventually leave. If I had to express my preference, Budesliga would be top of my list and Bayern first of all. I like to play in a similar position to that of Ribery.”

***

Sport: “Stramaccioni Wants Bojan At Inter”

Sensational rumor launched by the Spanish newspaper Sport. It appears that Andrea Stramaccioni has explicitly called for the arrival Bojan Krkic, the player who is currently playing for AS Roma. On the Spanish talent are Liverpool and Schalke 04. There could have been a contact between the agent of the player to explore the possibility of a transfer to Milan.

But that’s not all, according to another Spanish newspaper, El Mundo Deportivo, Andrea Stramaccioni sees Bojan as a perfect talent for the schemes that he has in mind for the new Inter and he would fit in nicely the rebuilding process that Inter have in mind.

***

Zamparini: “No Inter Offer For Silvestre”

Speaking to Ilsussidiario.net, Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini reveals the future of Matias Silvestre: “Silvestre remains in Palermo until other clubs ask for him. Inter? Not made an offer yet, just like no club has done it. Yes, there is interest abroad, but we see”.

***

From Spain: Mourinho Also Wants Mauricio Isla

The transfer market rumors surrounding Mauricia Isla are getting hotter by the minute. Not only Inter, the player’s preference, and Juve but it seems that Jose Mourinho wants to make a play for the highly rated Udinese fullback. According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Real Madrid could prepare an offer of 17 million euros to beat out the competition for the Chilean.

That figure could very well be the right figure to convince Pazzo to surrender the player.

Osasuna Interested In Juan Jesus, Inter Said No

Sirens coming from Spain for Inter defender Juan Jesus. The Brazilian is being requested by Osasuna with the intention of strengthening the back four. A explicitly negative response from Inter because Juan Jesus is considered an important part in a rebuilding process currently taking place at Inter now that his adapting to the new environment is over.

Agent Roberto Calenda will meet Inter in the next few days to discuss more of this situation and to determine whether or not Inter should loan him out to play with more continuity.

Agent: “Maicon Could Go To PSG”

Coming from France important words of Mario Rosi who has opened an option to bring Maicon to Paris Saint-Germain. The agent of Maicon has confided to a Parisian magazine that this idea would be very welcome:

“Douglas is waiting for news from Inter leaders to renew contact but at the same time, he is thinking of a departure. Paris Saint-Germain are an important club in Europe and there he would meet a lot of people like Ancelotti, Leonardo, Motta, Maxwell and this is an extra incentive.”

Rossi understands that everything depends on the two clubs:

“It is up to them to come to an agreement but right now this is nothing more than just a speculation. But negotiations, once started, will certainly take a bit of time because Inter will have to find a replacement and that is not a simple thing to do.”

Also according to the same source, there have been contacts between PSG and the Brazilian. In short, Maicon, according to agent, likes this PSG idea very much.

***

Mauricio Isla’s Agent: “I’ll Be In Italy Thursday, We’ll Talk More”

Inter have been interested in Mauricio Isla for a long time now and it seems like something will definitely happen in this transfer window. The possibility of Mauricio Isla leaving Udinese is high and not a mystery to anyone and this is confirmed by the agent, Leo Rodriguez:

“There are three and four teams that want Isla but at this moment, it is difficult to talk about that publicly. It is clear that Isla is a gem and there are teams that want him. I cannot reveal more than that. I will be in Italy Thursday and we will evaluate.”

Agreement Reached Between Inter-Napoli For… Pandev

A phone call in the evening between two old friends and another piece of the puzzle is in place. It only took a few minutes for Massimo Moratti and Aurelio De Laurentiis to come to an agreement for Goran Pandev and now the Macedonian, very soon, will be a Napoli player. To Inter will be 8 million euros, a nice capital gain for the player who came in 2009 at no cost. Pandev will have a five-year contract and is independently from any negotiations for Lavezzi. Moratti has done his friend a favor who wants to demonstrate to Mazzarri, Napoli coach, his will to have a great Napoli and give the coach his first gift. And now we have to wait and see what is going to happen on the front of Lavezzi.

***

Sao Paulo Director: “80 Million For Lucas”

Speaking to TV Terra, Sao Paulo sporting director Adalberto Baptista, explains the situation of Lucas Moura who has always been on the transfer target list of Inter and there was even talk of a 18-million offer plus bonuses. “I do not think Inter would present that offer because it is low. Remember that Sao Paulo have no intention of selling the boy and Lucas does not want to leave Brazil. So whoever wants him, there is the release clause of 80 million.”

***

Feyenoord Director: “Yes We Strongly Want Castaignos”

Feyenoord have decided: they want to bring Luc Castaignos back to Holland. A home grown talent that has found little playing time at Inter and just only one goal against Siena. And here is Martin Van Geel again to discuss his plan of attack for the young Dutch striker:

“Luc is an enormous talent and selling him is a big regret that Feyenoord have. At Inter he is not doing well but he understands the culture of Feyenoord because he grew up here and knows everyone in management and some of the players. I can say that we want him and he is one of our objectives. If Inter want to let him go on loan then it would be a serious option for us, we will see in the early part of June.”

***

Agent: “Lavezzi To PSG? It’s Not Done”

Speaking to Calciomercato.it, Alejandro Mazzoni, Lavezzi’s agent, talks about the future of his client: “Are we closing the deal with Paris Saint-Germain? No it is not true.” Just a short statement from the agent which leaves Interisti some hope that Moratti and De Laurentiis could still work something out.

And according to Sky, Mazzoni is currently in Rome and tomorrow will fly to Naples, not Paris like the rumors from the French paper L’Equipe. Yes, PSG are in the lead but it is not a done deal yet.

***

Inter Exploring Bojan Idea But There’s Problem…

Arriving confirmation from the Gazzetta dello Sport on the idea of Bojan Krkic for Inter. According to the only edition of the Italian newspaper, Bojan is considered an alternative to Ezequiel Lavezzi but there is a true problem represented by Zdenek Zeman. The new coach of Roma could keep the player for his 4-3-3, one that Zeman considers an ideal formation.

***

Marko Livaja To Inter, Luca Caldirola To Cesena

Marko Livaja now belongs to Inter entirely, this was revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio on his website:

“Transfer market movement between Inter and Cesena. Towards the Romagna (Cesena) is the defender Luca Caldirola, who was at Brescia on loan last season and already co-owned between the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri. While the Croatian striker Marko Livaja has become entirely the player of Inter. Livaja is one of the pupils of Stramaccioni who has trained in Inter Primavera as well as the senior team.”

INTER TO MAKE AN OFFER FOR RAMIREZ
MAICON TO LEAVE?

Two players plus 10 million for the Uruguayan.
The Brazilian is followed by PSG and Manchester City.
Moratti has spoken to De Laurentiis about Lavezzi.

Milan – So Inter will make 8 million euros for the sale of Pandev to Napoli, a significant gain given that the Macedonian joined Inter on a free transfer. And perhaps another 10 million to be collected from PSG who, other than Dani Alves and Debuchy, have requested detailed information on Maicon. In short, the transfer market of Inter continues moving because in the mean time, an offer has been made for Ramirez.

Maicon also City Let’s start with Maicon. Everything was expected and it was not a coincidence that three days ago, Roberto Calenda, agent, was seen in Inter headquarters to talk about his client. The renewal of this expiring contract in 2013 seems to be very difficult at the moment while a possible goodbye is quite possible due to the interest shown by Manchester City with whom, Inter have spoken about De Jong and Kolarov.

Coffer smiles Make no mistake about it, this interest for Maicon is very real and the hypothesis of a sale should be taken seriously. It should be noted that at City, Inter like two players while at PSG, it is Sakho. In all of this, the Nerazzurri would prefer to make about 9 to 12 million for the Brazilian. That in addition to the 8 from Pandev would put the cash coffer into a good position to cover the purchases of Guarin and Palacio or perhaps for the plan B as Lavezzi seems more and more away from Inter.

Gaston Ramirez And for Andreolli, there should be a meeting to define everything next week. But here is the plan B: Gaston Ramirez. The Rossoblu, not long ago, rejected an offer from Wolfsburg of 13 million euros for the midfielder. There are many clubs from abroad want him but Inter (after offering 10 million two months ago) are back on the attack: the proposal is the other half of Krhin (already in co-owned with Bologna), 10 million and a loan or co-ownership (yet to be determined) of one of Faraoni (also liked at Atalanta), Jonathan, Juan Jesus or Bessa. In short, Lavezzi is fading away and Lucas is difficult (not impossible) and so here we have a quality young player in Ramirez.

Bojan no, Luc could go From Spain, they say that Inter want Bojan: no confirmation on this front. Feyenoord technical director Van Geel is calling for Castaignos: “Luc is our objective. If Inter want to let him go on loan…” Meanwhile Inter have gotten an Austrian midfielder Valentino Lazaro. He is only 16 years old but already lurking around in the first team at Red Bull Salzburg.

Lavezzi Here is the chapter of Lavezzi. Yesterday morning for the French newspaper L’Equipe, everything was done: Lavezzi to PSG for 26 million euros and agent Alejandro Mazzoni has already booked his ticket for a flight to Paris today to sort out final details. Reality is yes, agent is ready to jump on that plane to Paris because agreement between PSG and Lavezzi for 4.5 million plus bonuses has been found for some time. De Laurentiis remains firm in his demand to have at least 29 million for the Argentinian. Leonardo, however, is offering 26 million plus bonuses. Contacts are continuous and the countdown to the announcement has already started. Lavezzi is currently in Argentina while his agent remains in Europe to understand the right time to let his client know about the situation.

Inter And what about Inter? The Nerazzurri are observers in all of this. Although Massimo Moratti remains in contact with De Laurentiis and he confirmed this yesterday: “Yes, I have talked to Aurelio but there are no updates.” The two talked about Pandev who now belongs to Napoli at 100% and the only update for Lavezzi at the moment is that this track seems dead. Inter are not intending to raise its offer while Pandev is now out of negotiations for the Argentinian. At this point it is difficult to put in another player. In short, il Pocho is going to Paris even if the desire of the player is to stay in Italy and cope with another city other than Naples.

Bologna President: “Inter-Ramirez, For Now Nothing”

With the difficulties encountered in negotiations for Lavezzi and Lucas, Inter have decided to focus on Gaston Ramirez. According to the latest rumors Inter have already made an offer to Bologna and here is Albano Guaraldi, president, discusses the situation:

President, have Inter come forward for Ramirez?
“Absolutely not, no one from Inter has contacted us for the player.”

Some people even talked about an offer.
“We have not received an offer from Inter. There is only one team that has come forward concretely for the player but the offer was not satisfactory. Ramirez will only leave if a club meets our needs and that of the player, otherwise he will remain at Bologna for another year.”

What is the value of the player?
“It will be the club to evaluate a fair price (around 20 million euros) but surely Ramirez is a very important player for us.”

***

Agent: “Here’s Ramirez’s Situation”

According to the Italian media, it seems that the big from Italy like Inter and Juventus are going after Gaston Ramirez who is hanging on to his Bologna. To make clear of the situation, here is Pablo Bentancourt, the player’s agent.

Bentancourt, what is the situation of Gaston?
“Starting today, a new story begins for Ramirez: the boy that I am managing together with my cousin, FIFA agent, Oscar. We have signed an exclusive contract with Bologna starting today. I am the only agent of the boy and I want to specify that because there are other agents talking about Gaston’s situation without knowing anything.”

Keep going.
“We must meet Bologna to understand what is the situation of the player. There are offers fro him and we must see what the Rossoblu want to make.”

What kind of offers?
“From Germany, Wolfsburg have offered 15-18 million while in Russia, Zenit are also lively. With Liverpool, however, the situation is at standstill because the Reds have yet to choose a coach.”

What are the requests coming from Bologna?
“What I know is that they are asking 25 million but an agreement can surely be found. It is obvious that Bologna want to make a good sale.”

Very obvious in fact.
“The club will cash in 70% by selling Ramirez, the remaining 30% will go to Penarol as agreed. Thus, the higher the amount of money, the bigger the slice that Bologna will cash.”

And who is interested in the boy in Italy? People are talking about Inter and Juventus.
“Gaston was born in 1990, a very young player that can grow even more. He has done well in your league, both quality and quantity. It is normal that many teams are interested in him. I am not going to rule out that Inter perhaps have requested information although they have not spoken with me. We will see what happens: now we will discuss this with Bologna and then decide what to do.”

***

Lassana Diarra’s Agent To Talk To Inter

Gianluca Di Marzio has updated us on the transfer market in regards to Pandev, Lavezzi and now Lassana Diarra.

“In waiting for the sale of Lavezzi, destined to go to PSG, Napoli have begun to make some moves. Pandev is very close and they have also asked Udinese for Cuadrado, an another objective is Cissokho for the left, while in the midfield the track that leads to Lassana Diarra is not totally excluded, but almost. The contract at Real expires in one year and his Italian agent (Claudio Vigorelli) has been given a task to negotiation with out league. The idea is to talk to Inter as well as Milan but Napoli are also interested. There is a problem. In Spain Diarra is making 3 million per season with bonuses and he hesitated when Spartak Moscow offered him 4.5 million. Perhaps in Italy he would be content to make less.”

***

Destro: “I Would Play For Zeman”

Mattia Destro is sending signals towards Roma as the Italian striker makes it clear that he would love the idea of playing for coach Zedenek Zeman.

“Between Roma and Inter, I would choose Zeman in the sense that I prefer to play and I am also happy that Inter have valued me again. If I were to play at Roma next season, I would finally have the chance to play with Borini. We have not had that chance. I was hoping to do that in the National team but he stayed and I did not.”

***

Corinthians Director On Forlan And Paulinho

Edu Gaspar, sporting director of Corinthians, discusses transfer market surrounding his team to Tutto Mercato Web:

“Paulinho is not leaving Corinthians. I have talked to Bernardo, his agent, who has talked to so many teams but with us, no one has come forward. So it would be useless to continue talking. Paulinho stays at Corinthians and not with price because he is not for sale. Signing Forlan would be a dream? No, but he is a great player. If he accepts our conditions then it could be done but saying yes to us must also be his will.”

Lavezzi-PSG: Announcement And Signature Soon

At least this whole thing is over. Inter did not get their number one target but at least management was wise enough to not fork out 30 million euros for Ezequiel Lavezzi. The Argentinian is always getting closer and closer to Paris Saint-Germain and he is the first great big signing for Leonardo. The closing of this deal with Napoli is scheduled for next week.

Lavezzi’s agent Mazzoni as expected was not in Paris today but has maintained contact by telephone with various parties. PSG will offer 30 million (cash and fixed bonuses) to Napoli, the figure that totally satisfies the demand of De Laurentiis which is linked to the release clause. For the player is a 4-year contract, 4 million a season with bonuses. The understanding between all parties is now complete, signature and announcement are soon. Paris is waiting Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Agent Confirms: “18 Million Offer From Inter For Lucas”

A few days ago there was a rumor suggesting that Inter have made an offer of 18 million plus bonuses to Sao Paulo for Lucas Moura and to confirm that rumor here is the player’s agent Wagner Ribeiro:

“I heard from Inter who have made an offer of 18 million euros. But we are not interested because Lucas wants to stay and we have a plan.” The plan is clear: to keep Lucas in Brazil until 2014, the year of the World Cup, just like Neymar in order to increase the price tag even more. “We do not want to simply copy the proposed project for Neymar but we want to build something because Lucas is staying until 2014. I will see president Juvencio Juvenal next week and we’ll talk.”

A clear anti-Inter, anti-Europe plan. Another transfer target is fading away…

Sao Paulo President: “Lucas Worth 80 Million, Not 18″

Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes, Sao Paulo vice president, discusses the future of Lucas and confirms the 18 million proposal from Inter.

“I have a good relationship with Wagner Ribeiro (player’s agent). We talk often and he has presented me this offer (18 million). I respect it but I must make it clear that if Inter want Lucas, they must pay the release clause of 80 million euros. Everybody must know this.”

A DAM NEEDED AT INTER
IDEA DIARRA, DE JONG FAVORITE

The dream remains M’Vila, Mudingayi as a low cost option.
But the Nerazzurri are in no hurry for the prices to fall. And there’s the growth of Duncan…

Screen-Shot-2012-06-01-at-8.08.15-PM.png

Milan – Inter continue to work on several fronts to give Stramacioni a complete team as early as July when the team will be in Pinzolo for training camp. Many movements in the attack and defense but there is also the need for a director in front of the defense. An “animal” that can become a dam in non-possession situations to play alongside Fredy Guarin if Strama decided to focus on the 4-2-3-1 for the classic 4-3-3.

M’Vila the dream The top name on the wist list is Yann M’vila, 21 year-old the midfielder of Rennes and the French national team. His club however has fired a request of 20-25 million euros. An impossible figure for Inter and even Arsenal who in the last recent weeks appeared close to close the deal. This track of M’Vila remains very difficult but if Rennes were to lower its asking price…

De Jong The player with similar characteristics is Nigel De Jong, the “hammer” of City and Holland. He is a great friend of Wesley Sneijder who has no space at City and Inter will try to acquire the player. The club of Mancini also likes a couple of Inter players like Maicon and Ranocchia.

Mudi, Gaston and Lucas The low cost solution out of all of this is that of Gaby Mudingayi, 30 year-old midfielder of Bologna whose contract expires in 2013. For the Rossoblu, this is their last chance to cash in on the player who has already refused a contract renewal. The request is at least 2 million and a counterpart could be included into this deal. We are talking about Krhin (already at Bologna last season), Faraoni, and Bessa. These are some of the young players that Inter want to include in the deal for another player: Gaston Ramirez. Despite the refusal of president Guaraldi, the offer of Inter for the Uruguayan has arrived: 10 million, all Krhin, half of one of Faraoni, Bessa and Jonathan. But Bologna value Ramirez at at least 20 million and right now the club is staying firm. Chapter Lucas. From Brazil, Wagner Ribeiro, agent of Lucas said: “Inter have offered 18 million but he wants to stay at Sao Paulo.”

Lass The latest suggestion in the midfield is called Lassana Diarra. The 27 year-old Frenchman at Real Madrid where he is on the bench more often than on the field. Lass is also liked at Napoli who will have to solve the same problem as the Nerazzurri: the midfielder is making 3 million a season and there is an offer of Spartak Moscow of 4.5 million. Fernando and Sahin are the names that fading away. For the Turkish midfielder, Real Madrid are asking 10 million (considered to much by Inter) for a player who is fresh from a season in the infirmary.

Already in house In all of this, a solution perhaps is already in house. Starting in July, Joseph Alfred Duncan, the 19 year-old midfielder, will be with the first team. He was a key factor in front of the defense for Inter Primavera who won NextGen Series under the same guidance of Andrea Stramaccioni. Let’s not forget in this team there should also be McDonald Mariga but he will only return in October for the rupture of the anterior cruciate.

Report – Lucas Wants Only Inter

The objective of Lavezzi has now vanished. The Argentinian now seems almost certain will be the new acquisition of Paris Saint-Germain and now Inter have to decide on how to spend the chest of cash (salaries saved from players like Chivu, Forlan, Lucio…) that they have been able to manage to put aside. The names are Lucas and also Papu Gomrez (Catania) with negotiations are going on for Destro which can be unlocked at any moment.

The first hypothesis, that of Lucas, is the most likely. Inter have made an offer of 18 million euros to Sao Paulo as explained yesterday by agent Wagner Ribeiro. The Brazilian club does not intend to surrender its jewel for such a low figure but with an offer of 25-30 million, the player can go. There are many suitors for the talented Brazilian obviously like Real Madrid of Jose Mourinho who “watches his games live in person but also in video tape,” revealed Ribeiro. The same Brazilian agent also explained that the goal is to keep the player in Brazil until the 2014 World Cup, a great showcase for talent and impossible to miss this opportunity.

Inter, however, have one more card to play, the most important card: the desire of the player. Yes, as revealed by the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian wants to play for Inter and only Inter and he is willing to accept the waiting time that required in this difficult negotiation. Lucas’ father has flown to Milan in recent months to know more about the city so the conditions are all there, now we just have to wait and negotiate.

Destro: “Could Be Hard To Find Space At Inter”

Another statement coming from Mattia Destro regarding his future. The striker admits that at Inter, it could be difficult to find space especially for a young player like him who wants to play with continuity.

“At Inter, it is always difficult for a young player to find space. If I go back now? I need a team that let me play. I realized that I am playing in the toughest league in the world and I want to continue playing for a team that has trust and confidence in me.”

***

Sky: Inter To Terminate Forlan’s Contract

Contract termination remains a viable option for the future of Diego Forlan. As explained by Sky Sport 24, the Uruguayan striker is now resting in his country but remains a target for Brazilian clubs. However, it is possible that Inter will ease this transaction by termination the player’s contract. On his track are Atletico Mineiro and Corinthians.

***
Agent Of Lichnovksy: “I’ve Met With Inter”

Inter are working on a defense for the future. After signing Edgar Iè, the 18 year-old central defender from Sporting Lisbon, Igor Lichnovsky could very well be the next. There are strong competitions for the Chilean defender like Borussia Dortmund but Inter have already met the agent in Milan and have observed the player in action a few weeks ago.

And the player’s agents, AIM Football Agency, has discussed the figure of Igor Lichnovsky with FC Inter News:

“The only thing we can say about Lichnovsky is that at the moment, he is focused on the semifinals of the Copa Libertadores and on the Chilean league. His representatives, just like in every year, have traveled and met with the most important clubs in Europe including Inter and Milan.”

***

City Interested In Gaston Ramirez

According to The Sun, Manchester City are interested in Gaston Ramirez of Bologna, the player is liked very much by Inter. The same British tabloid also speaks of a 16-18 million offer, which has not been confirmed by anybody. Not only that Bologna have denied the offer on the table because nothing arrived from City to the Rossoblu.

***

Gazzetta: Catania interested in Faraoni

After Fiorentina and Atalanta, Catania also seem to show interest in Marco Davide Faraoni, the forgotten youngster of Inter. And that idea was launched by the Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains how the Sicilians are interested to have the player on loan next season.

***

Alexis Rolin’s First Choice Is Inter But…

Inter continue pressing for the promising Uruguayan defender Alexis Rolin. Already a few days ago there was an offer by the club to Nacional de Montevideo for the player born in 1989, estimated around 5 million euros. Rolin is very flattered by Inter, to the point that he would have Stramaccioni’s team as the first choice in case of departure from Uruguay. But that might not happen easily: the player has expressed a desire not to leave Nacional immediately, although he is willing to meet his club management in order to show his intention of leaving for Milan and play for Inter.

***

Le Figaro: Inter are seriously thinking of M’Vila

Even the French daily Le Figaro confirms rumors in recent days: Inter are seriously thinking of Yann M’Vila, Rennes midfielder, who after this season will leave the French club in order to “going a top club,” as he himself explained in recent days. The midfielder, however, has a high transfer fee, about 20 million euros, and everything suggests that the Nerazzurri will not spend so high for a midfielder, however, he has great value. M’Vila is also liked by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

***

Gazzetta: De Jong can go, thanks to Mancini

Gazzetta dello Sport has provided the details that would facilitate the deal Nigel De Jong for Inter. According to the pink newspaper, in addition to that his contract expires in 2013, the Dutch can be released in summer from Manchester City because Roberto Mancini, coach of City, is not willing to just keep him on the bench and so he will find the midfielder a new club.

***

Andreolli To Inter, Bessa To Chievo

Chievo are ready to close everything with Inter for the transfer of Marco Andreolli to the black and blue. That was revealed by L’Arena, a Verona newspaper, which explains that the defender will go to Inter on an outright transfer. In return, Chievo are going to have half of Brazilian midfielder in Inter Primavera Daniel Bessa.

***

Sao Paulo Vice President: “Inter Do Not Have 18 Million”

Here is the response from Sao Paulo vice president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes to the 18 million offer from Inter for Lucas Moura:

“I do not waste time with this proposal from Inter not because it is low but because it is not true. I cannot imagine where Inter can raise 18 million euros, Italian clubs are on the verge of bankruptcy. So the image that Inter can reach that figure is just fantasy. Sao Paulo do not expect to negotiate the sale of Lucas and that is why when we extended his contract, we put in a high release clause. We have no interest to sell him at least until the World Cup in 2014. The contract of Lucas lasts until that World Cup and I doubt that there is a club willing to pay the amount of the clause. From Europe, there have been offers of more than 40 million.”

Ranocchia: “I’m Staying”

There was even Andrea Ranocchia to watch the game between Inter and Palermo in Campionato Primavera:

“I know many of these players very well, they are good guys with quality. Let’s see if next year they will be with us. We want to win, the president has said that he wants to invest and have a great team, we are only starting but there are already many youngsters. Am I staying? Yes, I have a contract until 2015 and I want to respect it, I want to redeem myself after this past season. I will now rest a little bit and then restart to win.”

Inter Interested In Rolando And Benatia

Inter continue working on the defensive end and now there are two new names that have emerged. According to Sky, Inter have asked Porto and Udinese some information regarding Rolando and Mehdi Benatia. For the first, his value is 15 million, too high for Inter even to think about it. While for Benatia, Udinese have said that they do not want to sell the player at this moment. With these reasons, it is hard to imagine that any of these players will come. The two most affordable and likely signings for the defense remain Marco Andreolli and Matias Silvestre.

Sao Paulo President: “I Met Marco Branca Last Year However…”

With Ezequiel Lavezzi fading to Paris, the latest name that has been in the media the last few days is Lucas Moura. To clarify the situation regarding his player, here is Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio:

“I was with Branca last season but the figures proposed by him did not convince, they were not sufficient enough. Another offer from Inter for Lucas? No, at the present nothing has arrived. The player has a long contract and will continue playing here. There is no fixed meeting with anyone, he is doing well and wants to stay here.”

Another negative response and this time came from the Sao Paulo boss. Inter, however, are not giving though but the road ahead is long and tortuous.

Espanyol Director: “No Interest In Alvarez. Cou Great Player”

There were rumors yesterday of an interest coming from Espanyol for Ricky Alvarez. But today, the Spanish sporting director Ramon Planes has denied everything to Ilsussidiario.net:

“Ricky Alvarez to Espanyol? There are no open negotiations for the player nor we intend to propose an offer to Inter. Coutinho? I cannot say whether he is more or less ready for Inter because it is a decision that Inter management will have to make. The only thing I can say is that Coutinho is a great player and did every well at Espanyol. The rest will be evaluated by Inter directors.”

Both Alvarez and obviously Coutinho will remain in Milan and should have plenty of playing time for the Nerazzurri next season.

Lucas: “I Dream Of Playing For…”

Arriving the words directly from Lucas regarding his future. The gem of Sao Paulo and the Brazilian team is a transfer target of Inter and Real Madrid for a long time and he has discussed the transfer market as well as what team is his dream to play for.

“My dream, which I always think about it, is the Olympics. And not just that because the highest would be the World Cup and it is one of my goals. Obviously the World Cup is still far away but I think about it. I imagine playing in the shirt of the Selacao for our country, becoming champions and raising the cup. I cannot stop thinking about it. I also dream of playing for Real Madrid. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world but right now I am only thinking of Sao Paulo. My father went to Spain with my agent and they both know the highest officials of the club and probably also Florentino Perez. There was some conversation but nothing official. Certainly wearing the white shirt is a dream of mine but I remain very focused on Sao Paulo. My image? I care about it very much not only on the field but off of it as well. I always hope people speaking well of me and that I am always respected.”

With Lavezzi going to PSG, the Lucas dream that Inter have also seems fading away.

Mediaset: Interest In Jovetic Very Concrete

Sport Mediaset discusses the future of Stevan Jovetic, the jewel of Fiorentina:

“The transfer of Lavezzi to PSG is going to start a duel between one who strongly wanted il Pocho (Inter) and the other who sold the Argentinian (Napoli). Both clubs of Moratti and De Laurentiis, in fact, have identified Jovetic as the ideal alternative to Lavezzi. The Montenegrin has repeatedly hinted his will to strive for big goals and Fiorentina, with a big offer, could sell the player. Jovetic has a contract until 2016 at around 2 million euros a season. Who wants the player, therefore, must meet the conditions of the Della Valle family which wants to build around Jo-Jo but at the same time understands that with a big offer (at least 30 million euros) it would be difficult to keep the striker. The Nerazzurri, after losing Lavezzi to PSG, are ready to launch an attack for Jo-Jo who with Milito and Palacio (not to mention Sneijder) would from a very good attack. Moratti, as demonstrated by the negotiations for Lavezzi, is unable to pay 30 million in cash which is why players could be added into this deal. The first name is Viviano who is a fan of the Viola and would not hesitate to play for a team in his heart. The goalkeeper, co-owned between Inter and Palermo, would be redeemed by Inter and sent over to the club of Della Valle. Other players could end up on the plate are Palombo and Faraoni, two welcome additions by sporting director Prade, without forgetting Pazzini. Inter will have to watch out for Napoli who now have the money from the Lavezzi deal (almost 30 million). De Laurentiis wants a young and competitive team and for this season he would make a big sacrifice in order to land Jovetic who will guarantee quality in a long term project.”
