I have always had a soft spot for Berardi but signing him only to play him in 3-5-2 would be one of the stupidest things we could do. Berardi is wasted as a forward. He can only be efficient as a winger.

Anyway, i am sure Milan will make a move. Let's see what formula Sassuolo are going to accept in this case.

There is zero reason to choose Berardi over Thuram if those two have the same price range.

The French is FAR superior in every aspect and younger.

Lazio need money to register their new players apparently. I’d take Correa for cheap. Not the €40m Lotito is demanding though.

Berardi has 24 goals and assists in serie a, how is Thuram FAR superior to that?

Atalanta can't find any good replacement, maybe only Scamacca. Zapata looks like Lukaku to us, never in the market for them.

On other hand Correa, Insigne, Thuram and Weghorst are in the market.

0 of which as a striker. Berardi is an inverted winger, he can't cut in and shoot when we put him centrally, we saw that in Euro. As a wingback, he is too weak and too slow.

At least Thuram is strong and fast enough to be adapted to both roles and he played mostly as a striker 1 season before.

I've read that they need 10mln up to Friday or Sunday (don't remember exactly). Anyway, Lotito can take it from his own pocket.

You'd be right if we were strictly playing Conte-ball but under Inzaghi expect more passing/linkup play/attacking space in the final 3rd. It's the reason why he wants Correa.

If we can convert Berardi into a Griezmann-lite...

Thuram almost always drifts less and in anycase he's useless centrally. For that much money it's a gamble. Wolfsburg are trying to bring in Waldschmidt so maybe Thuram will be available for less.

According to Calciomercato, Inter will wait for Zapata till Monday. If there's still no progress they will turn to other options. Inzaghi wants Correa but the directors have decided to go for Thuram as they see in him the potential of a champion.

I have a feeling Thuram and Zapata are just the decoys. Vlahovic was surel our main target. We will go after Correa if Inzaghi believe he could be good with our players. 40m for Zapata is just madness. Have we learnt nothing from Nainggolan experience.

I think this forward acquisition will go down to the wire. I think Real will be willing to loan Jovic when the closing of the window looms right around the corner. It's now less than two weeks. Add week from now and Real will be willing, is my guess.

Management will pick the best option, I trust them on this one. I trust they won't overpay for Zapata or Correa.

Di Marzio reported the same stuff as calciomercato.com. Except that Zapata is not for sale and Inter is turning their attention to the next targets. Correa and Thuram. Raiola is going to figure out the price for the player.

Di Marzio also talked about Sanchez that if there are no guarantees for Sanchez's physical ability, we might go for Insigne at the end of the market. LOL
