According to Pedulla, Zapata remains the top target. Then there are Correa and Thuram. Belotti is also on the list. Inter have no interest for Moise Kean.

Re Thuram, Gladbach are asking for 30m plus bonuses while Inter are willing to offer 25m.

How I look at all the rumoured names. The names are listed in the order I prefer.

1. Vlahovic - best option, talented, can make the leap to next level. And he will get to learn so much by playing with Dzeko.
2. Zapata - if the price isn't too high. Think 30m is not bad. He will give us a good 2 seasons. Currently in this prime, brings physicality, good skills, decent finishing ability. He would be a good partner to any of Lautaro/Dzeko/Sanchez.
3. Correa - not clinical at all, and not a world class striker. But he does bring something different to our attack, and that can be valuable in some situations.
4. Insigne - not world class for me. Too one dimensional, and not one to perform under pressure at important moments.
5. Martial - rich brat's Correa. I think he is useless, and super fucking expensive. Can consider as an option on loan, and only if Manu pay half his wages.
6. Weghorst - let's not even go there.

Updating this to add Thuram, Berardi, Belotti.

3. Thuram - have seen very little of him, but he was impressive af. Even against Inter, he constantly gave us troubles. He is more of a winger, but can play as a wide forward alongside a central target man. Lukaku does the same a lot on the right flank. Moreover, I like Thuram's mentality. He seems mentally strong and that can overcome a lot.
4. Correa - not clinical at all, and not a world class striker. But he does bring something different to our attack, and that can be valuable in some situations.
5. Belotti - okay for a bench option on the cheap, but we need a starter at this point.
6. Berardi - doesn't fit our style, is not top class. I like him as a player, but not for a club that wants to win titles. Still prefer him to Insigne cos of age and wages.

Keita Balde would have been great as a bench option when we had Lukaku. But now, we need someone we need a starter.
Sure. I meant that as Sanchez's replacement.

inzaghi knows how to fuck this idiots. I think no team won more games against juve then lazio did in the 6 years he was there
Not sure if that's true but I don't think Lazio had even registered a win since the early 2000s against those guys before that.

I like your list. For me it's much simpler:

1. Vlahovic - perfect Lukaku replacement. Not that he's explicitly similar to Chokaku but he is the best fit and will offer a wider variety of goals. He's also more technical than Lukaku. I am beyond disappointed that despite earning nearly TWO HUNDRED MILLION from the Lukaku and Hakimi sales, Suning has not allocated enough of that money towards the only suitable replacement (i.e. Vlahovic)

Therefore, we're unable to get the best option and instead we need to vastly overpay for the 2nd best thing:

2. Zapata - the obvious B-grade Lukaku substitute. A very good player, but €40m, let alone anything above that, is too much. He would do quite well here, but is that enough to win the league again? I doubt it. You could say the same for Vlahovic, but then Vlahovic has the positives which Zapata does not: massive potential to get even better, and resale value.

Don't kid yourselves that "resale value doesn't matter" and "we're not a selling club". In previous years I would agree 100% but right now, Suning can not be trusted in that regard. EVERY single player is sellable for a reasonable price.

3 to 9 - everyone else can fuck off tbh.

Actually I'll also give Thuram 3rd place.. purely because I know absolutely nothing about him and as a compulsive gambler I enjoy the thrill of the unknown compared to the the well-established mediocrity of the other names.

zapata injured for 1 month, they can fuck off now with their 40M request.
Incredible the lengths players will go to avoid joining us.

Honestly at this point the only thing I’m hoping for is the 11th hour, phantomatic appearance of the classic ‘Mr X’ that shocks us all.

Just wake up tomorrow and see that we’ve signed Isak.

Wow, really?

I guess this might put doubts to our management for getting him. Specially for a very high price.

I think Raiola has got the task to get a reasonable price for Thuram from BM and we go for him if pizzaman succeeds. It's probably hard to do business with Lotito (apparently he's going to loan money to Lazio to allow them to register more players) with his 35+bonuses asking price for Correa.

Wasn’t this guy balling in the Bundesliga for a short period of time recently?
Balling is an exaggeration. He was decent at Werder and had one good season at Hoffenheim, both of which finished midtable. The spell in Belgium basically saved his career.

I dont see how Vlahovic is better than Belotti in his breakout season, in fact, I would rate Belotti that season much higher. And if Belotti already failed, there is no reason to dismiss Vlahovic won’t.

My top pick is Correa, but because I am a sucker for dribblers.
