Why do you want to "get rid of sweets" but "replace calories"? You want to gain weight?

Strange question indeed, because calories is in everything you eat.

I work out a lot, mostly as stress relief and relaxation and that's the only reason I am not much heavier. Right now I'm at 75 (due to a stomach virus that trimmed me down from 78) but I would like to get to 80kg, I tend to look healthier at that weight. I'm 178cm and have a rather pale skin.

I eat a square, sometimes 2, of dark chocolate every day, usually after lunch. I love it and it helps to avoid cravings.
That’s enough to keep me satisfied because unless milk chocolate it’s not overly sweet and making you want to eat more.

Dark chocolate with a good espresso after lunch is heaven.

Last day of the year showing of this great shirt of ours in the local gym as I saw two rubentinos there the last time. Normally I tend to train with just normal running shirts which seems to be normal for most people. Or what about you?

I thought I would have the gym by myself but man I was wrong. It seems like the whole city has decided to get tired early tonight.

Happy new years to all of you.

New year = new people this morning at the gym, not too many people at 7:30am but at about 8:15 quite a few new faces.
This guy around 25 or so shows up starts training chest, takes up 2 benches one for doing his sets, the next one for putting all his stuff on top, I was going to do skull crushers and that was the only bench to use, I approached him and he put his stuff elsewhere, honest mistake, I guess he didn’t even realize that could be annoying.

As I was resting he starts doing flys, terrible terrible form, the kind of form that will destroy his shoulders eventually, I look around for the staff that are too busy around the new girls obv. As someone with bad shoulders I felt the need to give him some help. When he finished I asked if he needed anything because I never saw him before (didn’t want to be the douche that says your form is shit specially to a new guy). Gave him some tips on how to do it properly, cost me some time of my own workout but it was worth it, turns out the guy is pretty cool, thanked me a ton and I felt great to be able to help him out, put me on a good mood to start the day.

Also some cute new girls arrived so looking forward to see them squat, to look out for good form obv.

Man i always stay away from the gym/ pool for the first 2 weeks of the new year. Too many annoying new people who just take up space. I mostly go swimming as a training and it s so fucken annoying when after new year the pool is just filled with people swimming at half your pace ( and i m not even fast) and crossing lanes and shit.

Anyone of you guys have or have used a diet plan to lose weight?

I want to lose 15 kilo by the end of the year at least, already lost 8 so far but want to push it harder. I've been running almost every day (at least 6km every day), skipped on all sugary drinks, only drink water (and occasionally only once a week some beers)

I've stopped eating sweets, potatoes, rice, pasta's, ...

So basically all I eat is like vegetables, chicken or fish.

Anyway, any of you guys got any suggestions on what to eat or some meals that can help me lose weight since I'm getting bored of all that chicken?
Rasha, you gymboi, I'm looking at you

Yeah, pasta, bread, mayo are like a big no-no for me. Only once a week I can cheat on the healthy shit. That's when I drink beer also. I don't know browski, I'm a small guy, and if you're chubby, small and like Inter. Life ain't a gift.

You need energy though, and that will have to come from healthy carbs / fats. Most diet plans are either High fat / Low carb or the opposite, one should work for you. Cutting out fried foods, added sugar drinks and u drinking more water and eating more healthy + exercising should work.

Yeah I'm doing a low carb diet. I'm just asking if you guys know any good recipes or meals that I can eat. If I search on google a whole bunch of wannabe dietists with their plans show up and blablabla, let's just say I don't want to pay for that

Fruits, Cocoa Powder & Almond Butter [i mix them together] are ur friend. I use stevia or coconut sugar as a sweetener. As far as vegetables and ur main meals if ur getting bored hot sauce, mustard and other type of sauces or spices can help. Also flavored water if u got bored of regular water.

EDIT

Maybe some chefs here can cook u up some recipes :einstein:

Another Keto vs carbs war incoming with Rasha and Candreva Crosses

On the topic, can't really help with exact diets, I don't like that approach. When losing weight I like to cut out calories heavy foods that I consume usually like peanut butter, pasta, and fatty foods. However, most of weight-loss for me comes from heavy training.

Also a personal experience, this is the first summer that I did not lose winter weight. I am usually at 72-73 kg during summers, but this year I'm at 80-81. It is probably down to a lot of fat I am consuming, since I had done some blood tests in March and found out I have cholesterol and triglycerides levesl below the lowest normal levels. Been adding butter, peanut butter, eggs and red meat in a lot bigger amounts then before since those tests, feeling a lot better as well :D (except the flubber around the waist).

You are prob underweight, smoking and drinking are not a diet though, contrary to popular belief..& Naingollan theory.

If its only to lose weight, I could share my personal experience. No gym, no running, nothing. And I lost 20kg in 8 months :D

Breakfast: rice, 1.5 bowl, boiled/grill lean meat with fish sauce (200-250gr)
Lunch: 1 apple.
Dinner: rice, 1.5 bowl, boiled/grill lean meat with fish sauce (200-250gr)
Salat during day, as much as I like.
1/2 coffee with little milk & sweeteners (you can skip this if you arent coffee-holic as me :p )

It works, really. I was from 88kg to 68kg.

Never tasted it, but you hate it? You fit right in here with the people who rate players and haven't even seen them play!

You just can't hate fish, probably the best meat of them all. Plus the skin is full of phosphorus. Seafood is a world of its own, you're missing out on A LOT.
