Im not saying he doesnt have potential to be a good player but im not singing his praises like most, what did he do to deserve all that praise? Hes been ok his couple of games and that's it, done nothing overly impressive.

none of our other midfielders would be capable to pull that pass for Karamoh. That pass itself deserves a star.

True. I was hoping that Valero was this kind of player but in the last months he wasnt really the same valero we all know. Even if i have to say that he improved after Rafinha came in. This 433 with Valero and Rafinha is very interesting. We are not too much focused on the wingers and are trying to play fast like Rafinha and Karamoh did when Mirante made a miracle.

Its also good for Icardi. Im curios to see him against Genoa. Hopefully Rafinha and Karamoh will start.

I believe people are over reacting actually.
Get me right he is very nice and clearly has more quality than all our midfielders together but in my opinion he has yet to deserve this praise.

For me the reason he looks much better is because unlike all the other inter players currently he doesn't have the psychological barrier of bad results and expectations. He comes in fresh and plays with the freedom of innocence. I'll reserve the judgement (and the 40M) to say if he is really different and capable to lead us to another level rather than being another brozovic after 2 months in here.

I know what youre saying and youre not wrong.

But there is a diffrence between Brozovic and Rafinha. Brozovic never convinced so much. He scored some nice and important goals some times but he is too lazy and too inconsistent. I dont see Rafinha this kind of player, he is a totaly diffrent type. He is more like Valero. Hopefully a younger Valero of course...

There is so many positive things about Rafinha. First of all he looks very motivated and hungry to play, and he has great technical abilities, besides of that he is a very intelligent player. Lets just hope he will keep up his game as over the past few years our biggest problem has been consistency.

Though he makes football look easy with his simple play and beautiful touches. Too bad Borja is pretty old and his legs don't work as good as his brain otherwise they would make a great combo in the midfield.

In overall a very positive performance by Rafinha. :thumbsup:

He wasn't really surplus to Barca before his injuries i.e. he became surplus due to his injuries not his talent. Talk to any Barca fan, they rate him as the "new Iniesta". If Rafinha stays fit, he has the potential to play in any team.

And we saw a glimpse of why today. I haven't seen such a skilled midfielder at Inter since Sneijder.
