I wasn't impressed by Alvarez so that is my ideal squad line-up with the players we have. If he improves he can play insted Motta or Maicon.

What do you guys think about it?

I think Maicon is still the (undisputed) starting RB, so its either Zanetti or naga on the left (latter one won't complain about bench role but he will get starting minutes for sure too). Maicon RW is a no no.


Maybe we should reeally go for Cerci/Gerti :lol:

i think it would be cool for maicon to play a forward position, his defense wasnt great this season and we all know he loves to attack... i would love to see it (just to see what happens) but it will never never happen. i want gago+cash for maicon anyways.

You prefer Palacio ? whether to sell Sneijder to get Tevez ?? because Moratti does not put money, let alone that Tevez would beg to leave in the nest year,Cerci is an Italian,24 years old and had terrible season this year.

i fucking hate how gasp is trying to turn sneijder into a CM - He doesn't defend.

on the subject of maicon, I am kinda looking forward to see how he does at RM, where he will be able to get forward more often.

Oh come on, you just said Sneijder and Gago wouldn't work in the midfield and now you have Anderson-Gago together in your ideal lineup? I understand Anderson is more a hard-nosed player, but Sneijder-Gago >>> Anderson-Gago....

I see no contradiction AT ALL. Anderson runs like hell and is physically strong. CM is his natural position. Gago and Anderson would be a balanced pairing. As a player Sneijder is superior to Anderson, of course. I would still prefer my duo to yours. And more importantly, Mata or other top wingforward is not coming, if Sneijder stays. If we are to play 3-4-3, Sneijder must go. That's my firm opinion, obviously not a fact. I also can't read Gasp's mind, but I have some ideas on how he likes his football.

Out: Maicon, Sneijder, Mariga, Muntari, Rivas, Pandev = about €85 million

First team:

J.Cesar
Ranocchia - Samuel - Lucio
Zanetti - Banega - Cambiasso - Bastos
Mata - Pazzini - Eto'o

2nd team:

Castellazzi
Chivu - Cordoba - Caldirola/Coates
Naga - Stankovic - Motta - Jonathan
Alvarez - Milito - Castaignos

(Many C's in defence)

In addition we have youngsters like Viviano (put Castellazzi as 2nd, because Viviano is out 6 months, and I think he's being sold in January), Santon, Obi, Casemiro, Natalino, Faraoni, Bianchetti, Coates/Caldirola and Crisetig.


If Gasperini manages to make the team to adapt to the maximum, I think this would be a great team. If this happens, the team would also be on a good way to make the team younger. We also goes in plus in the economy. What do you guys say?

If we are really thinking of replacing Sneijder with Anderson, we should sell J.Z. and replace him with Gresko.

Anyways, this is something that I hope will happen(Tevez on loan obviously) :

Hopefully we will get rid of Muntari, Pandev, Milito and cash in on Mariga unfortunately. Easily in excess of 30mil. So far we have spent close to 25m and are looking to spend Tevez's wages.

But we will still have a bench which looks like this : Castellazzi, Rannochia, Nagatomo, Chivu, Cordoba, Deki, Crisiteg, Motta, Alvarez, Cou, Castaignos.

Again you guys will think that midfield cant pass for their life, but we have worked that midfield with Eto, Wesley and Maicon as outlets. Now Tevez, Eto and Wesley are all known to drop deep and move and with Cuchu and J.Z. covering our WB's they are also a very important attacking option in spreading the opponents defence and creating space for Wesley, Eto and Tevez. This to me is the financially easiest way of getting back to winning ways. If we have to buy Tevez, lets go for someone else for that role. Plus our squad also lets us easily switch to 4-3-1-2 with one substitution. Enough cover for every position and weakest link being Cordoba who will be 5th choice there.

I think some of you guys are underrating Motta tbh...he was a beast for Gasp in Genoa, I'm sure he would do better than someone like Gago in our 343.
