Like brehme suggested, this has nothing to do with Inter. They couldn't afford the Jiangsu FC anymore and as there was no buyers for the club, they just ended the whole operation. Inter on the other hand has buyers/investors, they just try to negotiate a best deal for themselves. I really hope it is settled by the end of March but let's see.

Would love to have a solution where we don't have to sell a big asset. I'd be even okay keeping this core and let few players with big salaries to leave and replace them with cheaper ones.

If a club like Roma can sell for 800mil+, I would imagine there are a few investors queuing up with interest in inter. No one is going to invest serious money in a Chinese club like Jiangsu as things stand.

No its not that its a negotiation tactic for inter. Its more a " we have no money" type sign to me if they are taking this drastic step it's clear Suning are in a financial mess and have to seel sooner rather than later.

It's a government has you by the balls situation, has nothing (yet) to do with Inter.

If anything, this could end up being good news for us as they'll be forced to sell.

Yes, they might be forced to sell us sooner than later. And that's only good that the situation is resolved ASAP.

1) To have the management team set up for the future, whoever that is (I'd definitely keep at least Marotta)
2) To have the management team to start planning for the future, for the next season and so on. Now they are castrated, can't do any stuff in the player market because they can't make any promises because they don't know if they are even employed by the club in the summer.
