Us losing us with Crotone,Samp,Genova and Fiora has little to do with the coach
Our players(most of them) are lazy, stupid, careless turds who don't respect the club, jersey and most importantly the fans
And we all know it!

What can a manager do if some players lose their concentration and lack character? The strength of an army is determined by its weakest soldier.

I like Pioli and feel that he gave his all but players stopped following him at some point. And that shows the actual mentality of the players we have...

>>> If Stefano Pioli cannot agree a contract termination with Inter, then Fiorentina could go for Andrea Stramaccioni instead.

However, Mediaset Premium note there is a problem, as Inter fired Pioli last week, but there is a clause in his contract.

Pioli had it written into his deal that he would get the entire second year’s wages – amounting to €1.8m – if he was sacked early.

Now Inter are trying to avoid that and want to reach an agreement for a compensation package instead.

If those negotiations drag on, then Fiorentina could look to an alternative and the first name on the list is another former Inter Coach, Stramaccioni.

He is currently a free agent following his difficult spell with Panathinaikos.

That clause makes no sense at all..it benefits nothing for Inter. If we fire Pioli and he gets the full wage, why don't we keep him employed and paying him until the end of the contract?

If Pioli wants to work for extra money from Fio, he has to either accept a reduced compensation amount; or Fio has to pay the rest 2nd-year salary for him to break the contract.

If fiorentina's backup option is truly Strama then it might be worth keeping Pioli on the payroll just so we don't have to worry about them next season

Facts are INTER did fire him! It was not a mutual agreement over the termination of contract, so technically speaking, INTER should pay that sum.

In Germany, such a situation would not even have been discussed. But in Italy, they try to take advantage of the fact that Pioli is an INTER fan and that he'll go to Fiorentina for next season.

Pioli 'needs to sort Inter situation'

Stefano Pioli “needs to sort out the situation with Inter and money owed” from his Inter sacking before signing for Fiorentina, said his agent.

The Coach is widely expected to take over at the Stadio Franchi next season, but there are reports he is determined to get at least some of the remaining money from his contract.

“As you know, the Coach was fired 10 days ago and now we are working for his future,” representative Bruno Satin told Fiorentinanews.com.

“We need to sort out the situation with Inter and money owed.”

When asked about the Fiorentina rumours, there was no denial.

“You don’t need me to say how good Fiorentina are. We all know the level and tradition of the club, so there’s nothing more to add.

“He is a Coach and he wants to work, so no pauses are predicted, for example the break he took after the end of the Lazio experience.”

If Inter did fire Pioli despite that clause, the guy who made that decision (Ausilio?) needs a brain check and a contract termination simultaneously.
It's amazing how an employee keeps wasting hundred-millions from the employer and still keeping his job... A retard genius tbh.

calm down, i don't see anyone taking advantage of anyone. he is going to fiorentina, hence will be paid untile the 30ieth of june, then it's going to be fiorentina the one paying him. what's so strange or unethical about it?

Because Pioli was sacked/fired out of the blue [his agent confirmed he was surprised], his contract was not ended by MUTUAL CONSENT. So that makes him entitled to that compensation they have inserted in his contract. Just like Frank de Boer!

One could suspect that Pioli wanted to be fired since he knew about Fiorentina`s will to hire him.
For instance he refused to swallow stuff dictated by Suning [like to start Barbosa at least once], lost dressing room -> got fired by Zhang before the season ended.

Now that another team wants him, INTER are trying to reach an agreement with him, not to pay the entire compensation that he should receive after being fired.

ok, i didn't know about this particular clause. it's his right to refuse, although at that point one might suspect he's an interista so long as he doesn't have to give up on some money, despite a quite bad run at that.

Comes to inter. Does well, and then the wheels fall off. Clubs leaves him hanging, and he gets fired. While this is going on, he is negotiating with other clubs about a job next season. Sits on the beach eating panini and pizza every day while getting paid by us until that happens :notbad:

Exclusive: former Inter boss reach agreement with Fiorentina, announcement imminent

Fiorentina have reached an economic agreement with Stefano Pioli, sources have exclusively told calciomercato.com and the Tuscans are set to announce the former Inter boss as their new manager.

According to our sources, Fiorentina will announce the appointment of Pioli between today and tomorrow. Pioli’s contract with Fiorentina will be around € 1.2 million and his contract will expire in June 2019.

Meantime, Fiorentina have reached an agreement with Paulo Sousa and are going to cancel the Portuguese’s contract by mutual agreement.

The former Basel boss will cash in € 500.000, leaving the Franchi after two years spent in Tuscany with way too many ups and downs.

Fiorentina ended the 2016/17 campaign in 8th position failing to qualify for any European competition. Pioli’s agreement with Fiorentina gives Inter green light to appoint Luciano Spalletti who is expected to be announced as new Inter boss in the next few hours. Eusebio Di Francesco will replace him at AS Roma.

Perfect environment for him, really, a club with aspirations of reaching European qualification but not really counting on it.

Think he can do well here, a similar job to Prandelli perhaps.

So basically what you're telling me is, Pioli's Fiorentina side will have a dismal season, resulting in a 15th place finish and Pioli's sacking, but with six points gained from Inter.

Is that what happened in Prandelli's last season? I meant the good years. They were pretty formidable with Montolivo at the base of midfield and Juan Vargas, Cerci, and Jojo running around up top. I remember them peaking in that CL tie against Bayern the year we won, they were robbed.

Whatever happened to him? Wanted him so bad at Inter back in the day.

After a failed spell at Valencia, he ended up in Dubai. Al-Nasr. It was announced a week ago.

Good luck to Pioli. Don't have bitter feelings at all.
