Pioli was barely mediocre so deserved to be fired. To be honest, shouldn't have been hired at all. Weak tactically and has no clear system of play.

Playing nice and motivating players isn't a system of play. When motivation levels drop, as it will at numerous points in a season, your system is what keeps you level.

Preach brother.

Even when we was having the winning streak I could see this. But I guess some people can't see through the bullshit. They even went the mile and said we should keep him instead of Simeone/Conte and then they dare to talk shit about Mancini? Oh for fuck sake. Pioli is the biggest scam we've had as a coach as long as I've been supporting Inter.

The only clubs crying "play for the shirt! this is xxx" are the 2 milan clubs. Everybody else has youngsters, 'this generation'/'millennial' players e.t.c., and don't have problems.

The fact is, you don't have a strong system of play, you aren't succeeding. Particularly in this era in football. The top teams in every top league are proof of this.

When we realize this and stop fucking around with dumb ass coaches, we will begin to recover. Otherwise, this cycle will rinse-repeat.

Completely agree. Fact is for several years already we never have a working system of play that the team can depend on. The outcome is pretty obvious. When the players are motivated, we can keep winning against weaker teams, surely since individually we're pretty good. Our true color is shown against stronger teams and when things aren't going our way, motivation plummets then this mess starts again. The team have no backbone.

It's not expected to "play for the shirt" and win the scudetto through that spirit. But when you're all down and out the race for Europe, and you got no motivation to fight till the end, that's when someone has to explain to players that they can't go out playing with half a brain and quarter of heart, that's when they are embarrassing the club and themselves.

Just read that only Handa, Andreolli and Nagatomo waited like an hour after training to say their goodbyes to Pioli.

Easy way to rebuild our squad. Just keep those three and throw out all the other trash out. That shows their true character.

These 3 players are old guards who still have sense of honor. Say what you want about Nagatomo, the fact that he consistently plays since 2011 tells us that 1) he is okay player although he is not world class fullback, 2) it is not his fault that our fullback consist of mediocre players (Nagatomo sure is better than Ansaldi and I don't know what Santon is doing recently).

I am surprised Icardi did not greet Pioli. While we know Icardi is not exactly the bastion of moral, he must realize he is the captain and at least put some effort to make a gesture although he does not like it.

Could be bullshit?
Could be that others already said goodbye earlier and only Handa, Naga and who was the third missed the occasion due to some reasons.

Would any of you stay an hour later to say goodbye to one of the shittiest bosses you ever had?

Hopefully this is bullshit, or maybe other players saluted him before, or through phones, whatever. It'd be quite embarrassing that above being shitty players on the pitch, they have an even shittier attitude outside the field. And its not like our players are bunch of world class players. Gabigol is a different story though lol.

He might've been a bad coach, but he wasn't a bad person and he took over under difficult circumstances. Being a bad coach is no excuse for the players to be so fucking disrespectful as to not say goodbye/thank you etc for his efforts with the team. If this is true, it completely turns me off to anyone on this fucking team aside from those 3. Fucking asshat millionaires can be bothered to show a little respect. Get the fuck out then. Explains why all the collapses when times get tough, a bunch of mercenaries who give fuck all about the club.

Honestly can't blame them for being numb at this point. Bring in the next caretaker, maybe he'll make it past 3 months and deserve a send off.
