I think we needed a runner as we were a bit tired, and Klaassen did well in that sense. I think it would have been Frattesi but Inzaghi mentioned he had a slight issue.

Not sure the Bastoni sub was neccessary but he always makes the 5 subs. I guess the other option could have been Alexis for Lautaro who wasn't as sharp and looked tired, although he did start winning important free kicks near the end and also set up Dumfries for the Arnautovic chance.

Has anyone even thought that maybe Inzaghi will leave with a scudetto?? Look at Klopp. 17M€ Net and he just walks away. Totally gray and wasted from stress. There will be a lot of rich and prestigious clubs looking for a head coach next summer. Chelsea, Liverpool, ManU? Klopp is almost 10 years older and is coaching 20+ years while Inzaghi is not even 10 years on the bench. Klopp was 7 years at minimum at every club. Inzaghi was 5 in Lazio. No reason to be that exhausted to leave.

This. Italians don’t travel well unless they work hard to learn the language of the place they are going to/ know English. There are a few examples like Spalletti and Sarri who had success abroad without learning another language, but in general it’s not such an easy jump.

Generally I agree, but even without the second star, we shall keep him unless we become suddenly reach. Inzaghi proved that he can deliver very good results with limited budget. And I don't mean only Inter but Lazio as well.

yes the stats are 100% + he have 2 titles and 3 trophies with us which makes him almost a grande, just imagine if he had a stronger bench.
he defnetly deserves more techincal players in midfield someone similar to thuram.

My criticism to Inzaghi is that at this stage of the season he needs to preserve our top players, giving some starts to the likes of Frattesi, Asllani, Bisseck, Arnautivic etc. Not only using them as subs in the last 10-15min.
