I’m devastated.

All I can say is forza inter. Conte or not there’s a great future ahead of us.
We have a great ownership that’s willing to invest and Marotta at the helm.

I have the same question here as everybody else why the fuck did Conte wait so late to bring in the subs,he bought them 20 minutes too late..He should have gone for the killer punch earlier..Top coaches do not do that..Mourinho also used to pay more faith in his defensive Middies but they were the best in the world not scrubs like Galgiard and Ambrosia, whatever his spelling is.

Maybe he will grow in with this defeat like Klopp I dont know but Conte doesn't seem like a Tier 1 coach. So many matches in this season he froze when it mattered most..Inter cannot go to the next level with him at the helm..But what are the options?? Zidane,Guardiola,? Who?

And not allegri please..He is the same level as C9nte is

This defeat feels bad coz it feels like we didn't give 100 percent just about 80 or 90 % ,we had unused firepower..why the fuck didn't Conte use that??

And lol @ Sevilla playing the last 15 minutes..didnt even let the match begin..Dont think there was a meaningful passage of play in last 15 minutes or so..Playacting,Throws,timewasting..Inter should have killed off those fuckers..Why oh why did Conte wait so long??

Love the overreacting in this forum. We lost we deserve some heat for it. Some players were underwhelming. People who want Conte out or think to make the subs earlier don't understand balanced football. Maybe only the Sanchez one made sense since we were losing the MF battle and Eriksen wouldn't change that. Conte introduced eriksen when the space was opening more because they were tired but our team showed it's inexperience and Sevilla time wasted perfect.

On the ref, he was shit 100 percent. Even their second goal was bull shit never a free kick perfect tackle from brozo. But we weren't experienced enough to win this final.

Lastly people complaining Conte out are hilarious. Your team went from barely 4th place to second and Europa league final..... Fans are so hot and cold look at the big picture.

"People who want Conte out or think to make subs earlier don't understand balanced football". Nice way to bundle a wide range of people into same category.

We were in control of the ball in the second half. Introducing Eriksen when we had the space on the pitch could have created some opportunities for us. I remember watching the second half and thinking "man, Gagliardini is on the ball way too much, he needs to be changed out now". A bit like Conte did against Leverkusen when there were space in the pitch, he brought Eriksen in at 59th minute. I guess he just pussied out and worried about conceding without Gagliardini on the pitch. And yet, that still happened. Funnily, free kick awarded because of a foul by Gagliardini. :D Conte didn't use any subs UNTIL we conceded, at 78th minute. That has been the issue with Conte's in-game decision-making.

In my mind that is a very valid criticism towards Conte regarding this match.

If anyone says to sack Conte, that's a huge overreaction.

It is actually painful to read some of the bullshit on here. Inter were as guilty of theatrics and play acting as Sevilla were, maybe I am so open to it given I'm a fan of both teams so have no particular bias.

Barella had an arm across his chest from Diego Carlos early in the second half and threw himself down on the floor clutching his throat trying to say he was elbowed, a blatant attempt to try and get the man sent off. As for the penalty... VAR reviewed it and said the yellow was suffice so I don't really get the argument to be honest but whatever, D'Ambrosio should have had two yellows in the first half, Barella should have had a second yellow after already having been booked. Swings and roundabouts and all that.

Lautaro was tackled excellently in the box by Jesus Navas and threw himself on the floor trying to win another penalty, an embarrassing bit of simulation which was rightly derided by Jesus Navas.

Both teams were as guilty as one another of cheap fouls, play acting and gamesmanship, so let's not make excuses as to why Inter lost, because that isn't the reason. Too many players had bang average at best games, particularly LM who looked like a €10m player last night never mind €110m.

As for the Conte out bullshit. This team has improved massively under Conte, as a guy mentioned above, going from scrapping 4th to being 2nd by just a point, and almost winning a European trophy. I don't really get what you expect the guy to do, he has already performed miracles. Who would you even want instead for crying out loud?

I honestly don't get how it is possible to support two teams (unless one of them is the team of the town you grew in), but whatever.

It is true that the behavior of barella (on one occasion) and lautaro (sadly, in more than one occasion) was not sportsmanlike.

If we want to tell everything though, sevilla's players should have kissed the referee's feet for not giving that red card, which by the rules should have been given in addition to the penalty, because there was no genuine attempt by the defender to win the ball back.

I'm from London, I support Crystal Palace.

I love football all over the world, I grew to love Inter in the early 90s who I always consider my main foreign team, then I got into German football and started to follow Bayer Leverkusen and I went to Seville in 2006.

Ironically the only one I have never been to is Milan. I've actually been to see Bayer 04 and Sevilla play. ;-)

because there was no genuine attempt by the defender to win the ball back.

Yet VAR didn't deem it a clear and obvious error.

If var official didn't consider that it was worth asking the referee to watch it on the screen, it simply means that two people made a mistake. I mean, the images couldn't be clearer than they are.

When a player isn't sent off in the first 5 minutes when he should have been that's a massive impact. If he wasn't on the pitch the third goal doesn't happen, simple as. Clear goal scoring opportunity, it was a deliberate foul, a red all day.

Also its not just inter fans complaining about sevilla antics, if you went to the reddit thread for the match you'd see loads of neutral fans complaining about sevilla for the same thing. From minute 80 - 88, there was 90 seconds of football. Astonishing. That clip where THREE sevilla players went down at once was fucking hilarious.

Also, if this is a penalty, https://youtu.be/-LO0yy09tGk (3 mins in) there is absolutely no world in which the handball last night isn't a penalty. He even moved his hand towards the ball. Ever so slightly but he does. If he doesn't handball it, the ball goes to lukaku one on one from 6 years out.

Even small things. Start of the second half, Jordan pulled back deliberately barella, no card. Gagliardini pulled back Navas, yellow card (and rightly so). The ref last night had a disaster.

The ref cost us the game.I am sorry but the player who made Lukaku score the goal with the bicycle kick deserved to be sent off in the opening 5 ins of this game and there was a very clear penalty not given to us for handball.

Lets not pretend like we lost to some fantastic team which has great tactical acumen and experience here.Sevila got saved by the ref its plain and simple. And that is what frustrates me so much.VAR was supposed to avoid all this bullshit but its like with VAR there is now scripted cheating going on and that is a tragedy and makes me lose faith in FIFA UEFA and in the sport of football in general now.

If Conte talked about this club not throwing its weight around and giving the players no protection then i want to see this club come out and criticise the ref in the post game comments and put pressure on UEFA to fix the blatant cheating thats been going on in the name of VAR or stfu about its seriousness about winning stuff.Mourinho would have crucified and villified the ref for this inept handling and it would be totally justified.

And with Banega asking whether Conte's hair is real i wish some of our players mocked him for jacking off his small 4 inch micro penis on skype back in his Valencia days and whether its grown over the years or not.The cunt.

Read a bit of the new regulation. The penalty and expulsion thing has not existed for three years. He can never show the red in that play, nor was it shown in the previous penalty to Adama Traore, which was much clearer.

Well, to have such a small penis, he was dragging it around the field all night out of his pants

Did you even read the link you posted?

"But deliberate fouls will still incur a red card.

Those include holding, pulling or pushing, not playing the ball, serious foul play, violent conduct or deliberate handball in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity."

So thanks for clearing up the fact that yes it was indeed a red card as it was a deliberate foul to deny a clear goal scoring chance.

Buddy, Inter players may have overreacted to contact once or twice, Sevilla players were falling without any contact whatsoever - no comparison there. Sevilla are the most disgusting team I've seen in a while, for sure. Forza Inter
