That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. You not going to pay 6.5 mill wages to maybe the best defender in world? Have they seen the transfers and wages been dished out these days. And 40 mill for a 30 year old? That's prime age for a fucking defender, it's like the equivalent of a 25 year striker. If we had the chance to buy him but missed out because of these reasons, then that has to be one of dumbest things ever.
