Good professional win. It was ugly most of the time, but we were smart. This is precisely what's been lacking for most of the season.

It's gonna take a lot more than this to convince me this project is going anywhere however. Our core play is still cringe.

people here are negative after a good win against the second placed Sassuolo and now the problem is the eriksen hate?
The only ridiculous thing is that everyone here is mad after the 2 Madrid games like our target is winning CL this year. Im not saying to be happy, but it feels like we are again in 2015 where we fighted for the fifth place. Everyone should calm down a litle bit. The players are looking very motivated, even after a lot of up and downs we are second/third and have the best forward in Serie A. Everyone want's the best at this club, todays perfomance was a proof that we never really gave up. Season is still long....

Well, he lost the ball the three times he got it under slight pressure.
He was 3 meters offside in the only time he managed to break free from the defense.
He was yelling at players from the get go for not giving him the ball when making a terrible run against three defenders.

Yet, no one comments on this, but Eriksen apparently lost the ball twice, which isn't even accurate, and made a "terrible" pass whose intended recipient was apologizing for 10 seconds at least.

This is not double standards anymore, it's plain retardation.

Shout out to Darmian for having a really solid game. He was mocked by almost everyone here but he hasn’t shamed himself at all. Obviously we need Hakimi to adjust and become a protagonist for us but for this game, Darmian did well. Gags channeled his inner Maradona with that goal and then channeled his inner pub league player by getting a 4 on 2 completely wrong. Eriksen is a player extremely low on confidence. You can tell he just needs to leave.

I can't make myself to be optimistic because of this win. At least not as I was last year when we continuously outpayed teams.

For me personally Inter needs 5-10 strong games in a row to restore my belief in them, partcularly in Conte.

In all seriousness, Sassuolo got few scoring chances where if they had scored, I believe it would have been a completely different match. Djuricic shot outside the box to the post (?), Sass player shot from inside the box straight to Handa and Locatelli header right before the break. All these in the first half. In this season I think in some games we haven't conceded chances much more than this. So this time it was about opponent not finishing ruthlessly. It was not like the defending was perfect today though in the second half it was pretty close to it. Sass even managed to get inside our box but defence was there everytime.

Anyway definitely a huge victory. Morale booster for sure for the team as the system worked very well to nullify the high scoring team apart from few chances. We got lucky yesterday with the goals and opponents not finishing well but I guess it's karma this time as we've had the opposite result of these coin toss situations earlier in the season (opponent scores in their 1-3 chances).

I feel like Conte was saying to Hakimi "if you don't wise up this is your new life" and poor bloody Eriksen on the sideline for a good 5+ mins before he actually got on, he got stuck in straight away but with only a few mins what can you do?

Amazing team performance yesterday Gagsdinho was on fire, easily my man of the match, closesly followed by the work horse Darmian.
