Don't have one.
I don't agree about Alexis. I think he is far away from being in 90 minutes shape but you can see his class every touch + he has the grinta and always will chase, press and tackle the defenders. I think he had a decent 1st half and as long he gets playing time he will deliver eventually goals and assists.
Yeah, same here about alexis. Think juxtaposition of him coming off and lautaro scoring four doesn't look good, but for me, he had a solid first half, was great in build up, missed some chances, but he was never super clinical so i m not surprised with that.

His main job is in build up imo, like thuram. Unfortunately, we fumbled the scorer role by getting arnautovic, so the perfect pairing would have been lautaro-thuram someone that's not arnautovic-sanchez, but what can you do...

Thing about Alexis is that you're all right. But we've been saying playing him will contribute in goals and assist for a long while now too

klassen is an ok backup for mkhi. he showed that he can contribute to attack but won’t be any good if the team need to defend

inzaghi need to review back on aslani. this guy is not adequate to play that mezzala role like hakan due to his lack of reading of the game, his positioning is susceptible, creativity is subpar and he lacked in running and physical to overcome that limitation either. perhaps can try him as backup for barella or mkhi and see whether he can be useful there in the long run

i don’t think we have anyone else other than hakan in the current team suitable for the mezzala role hence inzaghi should consider formation change in case he need to sub hakan or can’t play hakan

I tend too agree Asllani is clearly not fit for role of Hakan, we tried now a few times and it just doesn’t work. For me Inzaghi needs to stop being so bloody stubborn with his formation. If he wants to insist playing him, he need to play the lad where he realistically can actually contribute. He seem to have a decent free kick, that usually also be good from the distance. He is probably more suited as Barella or Mkhitaryan sub. There really no reason to keep on beating on a dead horse.

We have realistic only Hakan that thrives in that role and even he been pritty shit the last few games. Time to reevaluate the system.

The only hope is that he is not fully fit yet because at times today he looked like he didn’t have the physical ability to play at this level anymore.

That's probably the case. I believe he's the only player in the team that did not have any type of pre-season given he was a free agent signing after the season already started.

Why uncertain? Every team rotates. I think we do have a set starting 11, only question is whether Inzaghi sees Pavard or Darmian as the starter, although easy choice should be Pavard.

We need to rotate, just like every other team is.

My biggest gripe with the team is that it’s so incredibly frail, we have a good enough team, sure we could use some useful and better attacking subs and a more creative or at least more dangerous midfielder… We could certainly also use a coach with more tactical dept then a piece of paper and an actual plan B and one that was not so incredibly stubborn in how to approach things. Conte would fucking win the scudetto with this team, I have absolutely zero doubt about it because we would have that grinta we lack even when things don’t work. Yes Inzaghi ball is far funnier to watch when things work, but there just too much rollercoaster in our performance that it’s hard believing we can win anything, too inconsistent, too unpredictable. We go from playing like we can beat even City to playing like we are a relegation team, even in one game we can be so incredibly different in our performance, it’s freaking marvellous and a study worth on it’s own.

The difference right now are Martinez, without him in this form things would have been very, very different. Lucky for us he save our ass once more.
None of what you are saying is wrong, but we're a Serie A team. The only reason Lautaro is even playing here is that he chooses to forego higher wages elsewhere. No serie A side has good depth, and this will continue to be the case unless the league starts making more money.

Long story short. We're lucky to have the players we have. We cannot afford a good backup striker.

And yet we were so close. Thuram would be a back up right now if Lukaku didn’t pull his stunt. However then we probably don’t have Pavard. This is our reality unfortunately, we have a blanket but it’s not long enough to cover our entire body. Either the legs have to be cold or the arms have to be cold.

Had to repair some fenceline today so only watched the first half and had a ton of angry energy to help me get the job done.

I don’t think the final score was indicative of how the game went. Salernitana were pretty good for most of the game. Definitely not deserving of losing 4-0.

Good bounce back from us though. It wasn’t entirely pretty at points but we needed that. Especially with Milan and Napoli already winning this weekend.

Seeing how we still only have 2 actual attackers (in a system with two attackers), scoring so many goals after 7 games is pretty good. But confidence is a big problem, when we don't have it, we are horrible.

Rotations in this game were great tho. Just the right players saved for Benfica.

We are top of the league because we have the most inform attacker in the world and because we found a golden goose in Thuram who out of nowhere turned out to be a crazy assist maker, not actually because of Inzaghi’s tactics. Tactically it’s been a bit of disaster the last 4 games.

We are currently winning on individual quality.

Martinez is clearly way too good for us and this league.
