If he signs for Rube, move to Flamers Paradise.

This is a bad time to look for a striker. But with Lukaku half the question is his mental state so we're better off in the long run moving on. And I hate it because I love strikers who can hold up the ball in the box and body defenders, and I've always respected the hell out of his game. He's his own worst enemy.

And I will hate seeing him at Juve if things go that route. That guarantees he will play his best when we face them, which is already tough.

Don't know how he can still be pissed for not starting in CL final. Heck, the majority here, at the time, questioned that move big time. It worked tactically though 0-0 at halftime. He came on and made an impact: blocking the tying goal and hitting the goalkeeper with point blank precision. Granted he took a lot of heat for the loss, but iirc lot's of Inter's midfield personnel were ineffectual. If It's all about the money (why not the Arabs) if it's all about redemption ( then sign with Inter) and if it's all about revenge then that's fkd up! Probably figures signing with Juve covers all three.

So because Inzaghi benched him for the final he wanted to stab Inter in the back?

That’s really how your roll Lukaku?

I like this scenario, fuck him. Go wherever you want. Dođe was faking loyalty and love for the shirt. Good move on our side, but does that means Correa stays, and we bring one guy for the bench?

its said he was talking with Juve even before the final.
Do you believe that, personally? If true, where was Inter's intelligence not sussing that out until after the fact? Weird, but Inter and us here, need to move on.

I don't believe anything that is said in the media until it's confirmed by Lukaku himself or maybe by Inzaghi himself. Maybe I'll get mad then.

But it doesn't change what I thought from the start of previous summer - I'm totally okay with him not returning. I don't care about Lukaku, he isn't in our roster anyway.

Now let's get some new exciting players so that we can forget about him.

No sense in losing money as a result of a fine. Such a gentleman!

Most likely this is exactly as it appears. Lukaku didn't like being Dzeko's bitch at Inter & showed his immature, greedy & disloyal side. But there are a couple of wild "theories" that could also explain this turn of events:

1. Juve have Conte lined up to take over this summer. That would explain why Juve want Lukaku & why he is so keen to go there. However the cost of Allegri's contract makes this unlikely, though anything is possible.

2. Another theory is that Marotta & Lukaku are in sync & are calling Juve+Chelsea's bluff. Juventus did this to Inter last time with Lukaku as well, which resulted in Inter paying extra. Maybe this time Marotta knows that Juve are only dicking around (coz signing Lukaku goes against their wage reduction strategy) & Chelsea are using that. The less Inter have to pay to Chelsea, the less Lukaku has to reduce his wages, so he is onboard with this. And they are calling Juve's bluff. Once Juve back off, Inter will renegotiate with Chelsea for a reduced amount. One thing supporting this theory is that Lukaku/His Agents/Marotta haven't publicly said anything yet. But still, this theory sounds too far fetched.

Lets see what happens. If Lukaku ends up at Juve or Inter, or Conte is signed or not, we will know.
