Yeah, Milito can't be benched he's our only pure striker and I have to say his service tonight was subpar and near the end he seems exhausted, give him some games, Principe will be as good as gold.

In my opinion, Palacio is best at CF/WF, not SS (which is required in a 4-3-2-1). He's 4 years younger than Milito, quicker, and in form. Not to mention we could play some exciting players to support him. I think Milito would make the perfect super-sub too. Alla Inzaghi

Lets not jump the gun on Milito just yet. I was one of those people calling for him to be dragged up by his underwear and tossed out of Italy, but he basically saved us from relegation.

So we have to see how far into the season his form suffers before we give Palacio the go ahead as the fulcrum. I still want us to go the 4-2-3-1 route, if Milito fails or the midfield and defense aren't capable we can go back to the 4-3-1-2 and dump Milito to the stands.

Another great game for him. The picture is clear now. If we play palacio as the only striker in Militos place he will for sure score 20-25 goals this season because his off ball movement can be deadly with Sneijder and Cassano behind. But since we all are aware that milito can do the same when he will get in shape (and he WILL get in shape) we have the luxury to exploit Palacio hardworking ability in other position while in the same time getting back at least 10-15 goals i think.
