in case of injuries, I'd start him, but not alone, and obviously with midtable teams and under, or attacking oriented teams that play openly. i think a loan in serie a, either this january, or a full season next one will do him very good, especially if there's a team that is willing to use him regularly.

Haven't you seen Manaj with us? He's been shit.

I'm not saying he is a bad player. I'm sure he will have a bright future but right now he is not on the level of Inter.

Yes Icardi's been shit but he is still miles ahead of Manaj.

So please don't get ahead of yourself.

IMO Bonazzoli looked the better talent so I'm just not sure why this kid is here instead. I mean if we were worried about stagnating Bonazzoli shouldn't we be equally worried about Manaj?

I think because we were focusing too much income and we squeezed 7m from Bona. Whilst Manaj came on loan which is practically for free. Since we have a pretty good attacking options now so they probably care less whether Bonazzoli was better than Manaj or not.

funny how we dont rate our promising youth players above 7mill and we sell them off at the first oppurtunity, like we're atalanta and desperate for cash. i dont see the yoth academy being anything more than cheap bargaining chips in the eyes of the people running the club. it is clearly a lot of money for a 17 yo but if we believed in him we shouldnt have taken the offer. the buyback clause was the most ridiculous part because it assumes hell get regular game time and be allowed to develop and make mistakes at sampdoria.

i dont think manaj will amount to anything. i get an entitled douche vibe from him, like he doesnt appreciate this oppurtunity and he doesnt realize football is a job vs making over-passionate celebrations, impulsively insulting the national team manager for his ego on social media, getting into the glamorous footballer lifestyle etc. i've never seen a youth player make it at any of the big italian clubs that isnt really mature and cool headed other than balo and santon and i dont think this kid is that talented.

Disappointed about Bonazzolli too, but I think Puscas is a more relevant comparison due to position. I really hope Puscas is back with us soon, as he showed much more ability as well as greater composure and a better attitude than Manaj IMO. Not getting many minutes at Bari either (or so I've read), so why bother.

funny. I've never seen or heard anything remotely 'douchey' form him, as far as inter is concerned. he plays, he's happy. he doesn't play, still happy, smiling with the team in every photo. celebrates every single one of those 1-0 wins with the rest of the team in front of the fans like he's a first grader going home from school, even though he rarely plays a minute. but i know the usual judgmental tone of you talking out of our ass. too bad you're misinformed on this one though. you've read a couple of lines about him and the albanian ct, whom ended up calling him afterall, and bam: entitled, douche, non appreciative, not realizing football is a job vs making over-passionate celebrations (unlike you of course), insulting, glamorous footballer (?)

read up bandiera, read up and stop talking with your ass.

manaj has amounted to more than you ever will bruv: he plays for inter, while you just whine on the teams unofficial forums.

Manaj is a bit of a red flag for me as I'm concerned about some of the stories I have read about him and as multiple experts are comparing him with Balotelli and Ibrahimovic. Especially because most of the players that have been compared to Ibrahimovic has turned out to be failures as they often are compared to his awkward behavior and not to his level of dedication and ambition.

However I only know about those stories because of rumors going on and I hope the kid will prove us wrong.

GdS - Manaj to Sporting Gijon: the latest
Possible future in Spain for Rey Manaj. The Albanian striker, born in '97, could say goodbye for six months at Inter looking to earn a place at the European space with the national team, coached by Gianni De Biasi. The tip has come under the scrutiny of the Sporting Gijon, who could take on loan until the end of the season. The Nerazzurri, for now, has not given the green light to the loan of the former Carrarese, but with the possible arrival in Milan of another striker, Manaj could temporarily leave Appiano.

Considering Gijon is is relegation, I'd say he'd get some decent game, especially if Gijon has asked specificlly for him and this move is not us being the offering party. However, they have like 4 strikers i think. All between 19-22 except for a 28 year old who I suppose is their regular.

Inter and Frosinone are expected to meet to discuss the situation of Samuele Longo. It’s not to be excluded that the striker returns to Inter to act as a substitute for his teammates. In the meeting between Inter and Frosinone there has also been talks about Rej Manaj and Francesco Bardi. According to Gazzetta dello sport both Manaj and Bardi are set to join Frosinone on loans.

Why the fuck would we want Longo? Jovetic barely has space in the team, let alone fucking Longo.

Getting Longo back is the most unappetizing thing I've heard this entire transfer window.

Albanian youngster Rey Manaj has recently been the center of attraction from Frosinone, Cesena and Sporting Gijon. The Inter starlet’s national team manager Paolo Tramezzani recently spoke to FcInterNews.it about the players future and other possibilities :

Italy or Spain: what is best for him, if they are compared?

“I think that even staying at Inter together with so many champions would be positive for him and for his growth. It is clear that in the future he must think of playing”.

Ahead of the Euros?

“It’s best for him and for everyone, we cannot afford to have players arrive at the Euros that are ready physically”.

What advice would you give him today: Inter, Spain or Frosinone?

“I don’t know, he has a very good agent, who I know, Jimmy Fontana who I hear often, the boy ahs extraordinary features, the hope is that he can play and score goals, also at Inter”.

So it will be easy for him to be called without many appearances?

“These are the things decided by the coach”.
