His contract is ending or why we'd be selling to Newcastle?

he might not be 'THAT' good - he has good stats frmo last season but played not in primavera but the one below. I dunno. Maybe they're offering enough that we're like, eh, we'll take the cash. He might just be home sick. Or maybe Newcastle are putting together their u23 team

Who knows.

Di marzio - Inter, signed Hugo Humanes Gomez from Real Madrid: the striker born in 2007, arrived last night for medical visits, is moving permanently and will be part of the Primavera team.

Iliev made a huge mistake going back to Bulgaria imo. He will be starter at CSKA 1948 but the quality of the league is low. Many games are fixed, the intensity is not existent and the physical condition and preparation of the players is abyssal.

I am very surprised about the absence of news/rumors on why Ilieve moved back to Bulgaria. He was one of the guys with most potential strictly speaking about technical ability so seeing him going back to bulgaria is a huge upset.

Other than homesick or family issues i can't think of any other valid reason.

There is no information in Bulgarian media as well. First when he was linked to CSKA, his agent denied but later Iliev rejected Verona, who were keen to get him on loan. The only positive thing is that he will play enough minutes.

Half our youth players go sit on the bench in Serie B or C. I'm sure a year in Bulgaria won't halt his development as long as he plays consistently.

We apparently gave him away on a loan with the rights to buy for CSKA without a counter option. This is something that we have never done for the youth prospects we believe in , we always put a counter option .

There is something we don't know about Iliev , or we just didn't consider him good at all contrary of the popular opinion
