No topic for Franco Carboni so I'll say it here.

He's moving on from Cagliari where he was on loan this season. Got some playing time there, around 500 minutes.

But he's called back and he upgrades from Serie B to Serie A, he's going on loan to Monza!

Pedulla: Inter are big fans of the 18-year-old Sheriff Kassama, who has been quietly impressing with Monza’s Primavera squad this season. The Nerazzurri are hoping that the Carboni deal with Silvio Berlusconi’s club will help facilitate talks for the Italian teenager.

Kassama has made 15 appearances for the Monza Primavera squad this season, showing promise as both a centre back and right back. He joined the club from Union Feltre in July 2021.

need to be shopping in South America and Asia

U20 WCQs are happening right now Uruguay is the only team that looks like a world beater

Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia are the teams that will qualify to wc

The one other 3 teams Paraguay, Venezuela and Ecuador will qualify.

Peru, Bolivia, chile and Argentina got knocked out of the 1st round.

Group a was fking Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Peru. I don’t get why they just didn’t go fk it Remove Peru for Uruguay.

This might have gone under the radar, but Inter signed 18 years old Swedish right back (Bosnian origins) for 220k this January.

#26 Alem Nezirevic

Here are some details:
Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Italian agent Gabriele Bozzo explained that the Nerazzurri did not need to see much before immediately taking the opportunity to sign the 18-year-old.

Nezirevic had been on trial at Inter for a few weeks from the end of November onwards, and agent Bozzo has revealed that this period came after the young Swede was proposed as an option. The Nerazzurri were naturally not immediately convinced to take the plunge and sign the 18-year-old before seeing what he could do.

However, it only took a trial period for the club to start to look at Nezirevic who could add a lot of quality to their youth academy.

The Swede is now starting for the Nerazzurri’s Primavera team, and according to Bozzo, he is also seen by the club as a player who has a big future ahead of him.

Bozzo explained that “We proposed him to Inter and the Nerazzurri directors immediately liked him and, upon seeing him in training, decided to immediately sign him in the January transfer window.”
“He has excellent physical and technical qualities, a great engine and very good with the ball at his feet,” he explained of Nezirevic.
“He’s a very promising profile for the future.”
Just another proof on how Inter directors are being constantly fed players by the agents.

What`s the purpose of the scouting "network" that`s on the club`s payroll?

Inter are closely following the situation of young former Nerazzurri striker Nicholas Bonfanti at Serie B club Modena, as they would earn a 30% sell-on fee from any transfer of the 20-year-old
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that Bonifanti has been in some of the best form of his career which has started to attract some transfer interest with his former club potentially hoping for a sale.

Bonfanti left Inter to join Modena in 2021, helping the Emilian team to reach Serie B by getting promoted from Serie C in his first full season at the club.

Now, the 20-year-old has proven himself to be capable of making the step up to the second division, chipping in with six goals so far this season.

The Nerazzurri will be hoping that Bonfatti can continue with his development, as even though he is no longer an Inter player, when he was sold to Modena a 30% sell-on clause was inserted in the deal.
Every 5 euro will help the Zhangs now.

What's the purpose? To scout players.

It's not like directors have time to take every young player to our trainings who is proposed to us by an agent. Come on.

We shouldn’t even be scouting Balkan/Turkish origin players, who play anywhere north of Austria. Just blindly sign the next 30 we come across, and 5 of them will turn out to be superstars.

speaking of Gnonto, could not find a thread for him so I`ll just share this interesting interview here:

Gnonto: ‘Leaving Inter wasn’t what I wanted, it’s a dream I keep’

Wilfried Gnonto reflected on his time with Inter, explaining why he left and admitting that he doesn’t know if he’ll ever return.

The 19-year-old Italian winger is a product of the Nerazzurri’s youth system but left in the summer of 2020 to join FC Zurich on a free transfer, having failed to make a first team appearance for the Lombardy outfit.

After an impressive two-year spell in Switzerland, where he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 74 games, Gnonto left to join Leeds United in a deal worth around €4.5m. He has already shown his potential in the Premier League and looks set to be a part of the Azzurri set-up for years to come.

Speaking to Cronache di Spogliatoio, Gnonto first reflected on his love of Inter and why he left the club to head to Switzerland in 2020.
“Like every kid, I have a favourite team. When I was a kid, it was stronger than now, now I follow Inter and the Italian teams with pleasure. But yes, I think in the end it was and is a dream I keep inside, and I don’t know if I will be able to realise it.

“To have reached this level is already incredible. By committing myself I can do something more and maybe one day play at Inter or at that level. San Siro was beautiful. A few years before I was there in the stands and then I played there.
“I grew up in Italy, I had been at Inter since I was eight, it had never crossed my mind. At a certain point I had to think about what was right for me. Going to Switzerland was not the obvious choice, but the right one at the time.
“I was lucky that my parents accompanied me, I did not go to another country alone. The choice was difficult because it wasn’t the thing I wanted to do, but I am happy about it.”

The Italian teenager then looked back at his experiences in first team training with the Nerazzurri and what could help young Italians develop into Serie A starters.
“I remember a shoulder barge from D’Ambrosio in training, it made me realise that I wasn’t a footballer yet. We were playing a 5 vs 5 match and the ball went sideways, close to the line. I thought I would wait a moment and put my body in front of the ball.
“He waited for me and as soon as I went towards the ball, he shoved me, and I flew to the ground. I just stood there and realised that the level was still too high for me.
“Between the Primavera and the first team there was a big gap in level, Switzerland was a good intermediate step. Second teams in Italy would be the right thing.
Can we have that GIF with D`Ambrosio as the killer death vs Gnonto?

I agree. If Correa and Lukaku/Džeko are gone, Firmino + Gnonto would make our attack BETTER
