If Viera comes back for the Liverpool game and plays the game of his life..All is forgiven. He would really be huge for us.

We would definitely need him against Gerrard, Alonso.

Agree. He played enough for Arsenal to know them well. He will definitely be a great asset to have against the English teams

Hopefully he won't get injured every 2 matches and maybe he'll start in Ch. League even if I doubt it because sincerely I don't feel like Vieira is part of our team. He's just like a new signing, he needs some time to accommodate with the team in order to play good.

I'm not worried about Vieira, from now on he will concentrate on playing big time as he will need to be fit for FRANCE. We are just his training mates.

Personally, I am very disappointed with Vieira. He had only just returned from injury and against the advice of Inter's physio's made the decision to play two matches for his National Team back to back. He has since been injured and has contributed very little to our season thus far. As a result, I question his professionalism given the way he conducted himself earlier this season.

I agree. Although, I can't understand how people can overlook how one of our highest paid players has "contributed very little to our season thus far".

J.Zanetti and h
Pool are a very physical team and Vieira will only help add steel to our midfield. With him in the side I think we have a much better chance of advancing in the CL.

Vieira is amazing, a asset to Inter. He will show his true worth for Inter in the year of 2008, coming back injury free :) Lets all hope it anyway, he can do so much for us and having the experience against liverscum will help us :D

Someone made the point that for france, he is the captain, and their qualification did depend on it, I think any person in the position would do it imho. can't really fault him there.

Anyone have any track record of vieira vs alonso + gerrard? I dont remember all tha tmuch from the premiership of that time...

Vieira Cambiasso Zanetti will fkin own that liverpool midfield.... Babel vs Zanetti, Gerrard vs Vieira, Cambiasso vs anyone else they send forward...
Kewell to go off injuried in the 3rd minute after Marco amputates one of his legs, Torres to go off 30th minute with a broken neck after marco stamps on him haha

The new wonder of Inter - to balance games up we're playing with 9 men and NO strikers!

There is no keeper as well...Gotta remind you that 1 in every 100000 shots that Gerrard takes in each game is on target

You don't seriously think that forgot the other players, do you? :wth: :p We already know who's the goalkeeper and who are the strikers, I was refering only to the midfield battles with Liverpool.

Vieira: "Working to reach peak fitness"
Thursday, 27 December 2007 13:39:22
[FOTO Thursday, 27 December 2007 13:39:22]

PARIS - Inter midfielder Patrick Vieira spoke about his injury situation in an interview with French website sport24.com.

He said: "I have been out for a long time. It has been hard and frustrating because I have had repeated injuries. I would have preferred to get injured knowing I'd be out for five or six months and then get back to top form rather than collect sufferings.

"There's nothing worse than playing three matches, being injured for a month and a half, coming back and getting injured again. I wasn't demoralised, I had lots of patience and I have always thought of returning in top condition ahead of next June's European championships.

"I'm going through a phase of training, I started from scratch two months ago and if everything goes well I should be back in January for Inter's matches in Dubai."
