Right because Roma would agree to something like that

Why not? He wasn't a proven talent if I am to believe your forum plus you were doing roma a favour by taking off Ninja off their hands. Better negotiations would have seen it easily happen or if Marotta was in charge.

Monchi insisted on Zaniolo being part of the deal. We initially did not want to include him. They refused the buyback option. I think you are reimagining things with the ability of hindsight. We were the ones who wanted Radja for Spalletti. Roma were in the driver’s seat of the negotiation.

Haha. Why the fuck would Monchi insist on getting a specific youngster and then allow buyback-clause on him? So that Monchi could label Roma as a feeder club for Inter?

Get real.

I don't think we could have gotten this deal any other way without sacrificing someone half decent on top of Santon.

Roma ain't dumb, we are. We can't possibly ask for a deal only in our favor without getting rejected like dumb asses. Remember the Muntari + 6mil? That idiosyncrasy is behind us now, now that Branca is gone.

Roma had to play him because they had all the main players on that position injured and they had to use what they have in hand. That's what bilan usually do, they got their GK's out? they didn't hesitate playing Donarruma, their forwards were shit? new signing Andre Silva wasn't good? they didn't afraid to field Cutrone and boom they now have their own products in starting eleven. That's a blessing in disguise. What do we do in such cases? sign some old farts with heavy salaries and then moan about FFP. Even if both Samir and Padelli got injured we would probably be playing Berni instead of giving chance to Di Gennaro or Dekic because Berni is old as fuck. Seriously, we deserve being punished by UEFA

Yeah, considering they signed Pastore in the summer it kinda tells you that they weren't expecting the kid to blow up this season.

His assist for 1st goal was just superb, presence of mind and also the way he cushioned it. By planning or luck, Roma got good young player. Looks like 'one to watch out' kind of player.

So Inter. I'd be sad if wasn't utterly fucking hilarious how much of a failure this club is. With Nainggolan injured and generally not giving a single fuck about anything when he's not injured, looks like another deal that has gone south. Good times.

Because we didn't swap Kouame for Palombo or Mudingayi.

We lose players all the time, my point is that Zaniolo's case is different simply because we have not only benefitted the other team by giving them a potentially good player, but also getting a deadweight in exchange while offering generous cash for it.

So the negatives just compounded on top of each other.

Fuck! I googled a bit and I found out that Kouame was our boy!
We had 2 of the brightest prospects in serie A in our hands and we throw them like broken teeth!
Jesus almightly, our management are mentally retarded!

This Zaniolo craze is funny because we have Mulattieri who's allegedly just as good and no one asked for him to be used in the first team. At least that was the case in the summer.

The pre-requisite question to that should be, how many people here actually watch our primavera in action and are aware of who the talents are there?
