He's actually being criticised in Australia at the moment for saying that he's better than Luc Longley - ex-Bulls player who was 7th in the draft back some years ago. All Bogut said was that he deserves to be drafted at a better position than Longley because he can shoot, dribble and pass better etc.. It's true. So I don't see the problem in what he's saying. Probably just being misinterpreted.

I'm pleased with Toronto's draft they got 3 quality players and some slovenian we'll never hear about again lol. GM Rob Babcock seems to have made up for his dreadful mistake of drafting Rafael Araujo last year.

Charlie Villanueva at the 7th was a huge reach, I'd be pissed. I've spoken to many Raptors fans who are furious at Babcock.

True I was very mad at first but than I thought about his college career and his ability and I wasn't that mad. We definetley could've drafted somebody else but we wanted a big man and the best ones available were between him and the kid the lakers drafted. but our next 2 picks were steals.

Bizarre draft, especially for my 2nd favorite team, the Raptors. Villanueva at 7th was a pretty big reach. The guy has been labeled an underachiever his entire college career and how will he fit in with Bosh? Babcock somewhat salvaged the draft with Graham (I would have went with Granger) and Ukic, who I believe was a HUGE steal in the 2nd round.

Lots of other bizarre choices too.

Atlanta - (Marvin Williams) Good player but they have they have 3 other players just like him. PG is what they needed and Stoudamire (Salim) isn't the answer.

New York - (Channing Frye) :dielaugh: What a team the Knicks are. They trade their best forward for another chucker with little defense (Q Rich) and add a PF rookie they except to play center.

Hakim Warrick will be the steal of this years draft. I guarantee it. Jawad Williams wasn't drafted either! A starter for the national champs and not even picked. I'm in disbelief but some team will offer him a contract and he'll suprise people. Maybe like Nocioni huh Gaetan? (what's your name?) ;)

Marvin Williams is a freak athlete, and you'd be making a big mistake passing up on him. I watched him grow up for a year and I can tell you this.. I fully expect him to be making a living in All Star games for years to come. I expect the Hawks to move Al Harrington for either a center or PG.

Channing Frye is a smart player with talent. He has potential, but is just a little too soft. He's better then anything the Knicks had or could've gotten with what was left. Zeke better hope he'll be able to move Tim Thomas and either Malik Rose or Maurice Taylor. Too many SF/PF tweeners and not enough true centers.

Yeah. Keep drinking that haterade. He commited adultry, and that was his only fault. The courts proved it, and if it had gone any further, Kobe and his lawyer already had friends of the victim willing to testify that she admitted that she was in it for the money.

Kobe haters better enjoy this off-year, go ahead and kick him while he's down, because he'll be back to the very top and both the media and 'fans' will be jumping back on his bandwagons. For those who were jealous of him from the very beggining, it's a shame. Hate or love his attitude, his talent should never be questioned. A very misunderstood person, I feel.

In recent news, Michael Redd has re-signed with the Bucks and LeBron finally got his so called 'sidekick' in Larry Hughes from the Washington Wizards (scratch them out of the playoffs next season, I think Gilbert Arenas will be exposed in the backcourt now, I really dislike him and find him to be one of the most overrated players in the league. Not a real PG and can't play defense for his life).

I think the Cavs GM, Danny Ferry, really made a bone-head mistake paying Larry Hughes $12 mil a year. That's way too much for a player that finally fufilled his potential. But, then again, I don't really know how to judge players who step it up on a contract year. He may be the sidekick, but he doesn't solve the Cavs shooting problems much, as he's some 27% behind the three point line.

That being said, Cavs are now a playoff team. The next step? not really sure.

For the record, I like Kobe. I stopped watching NBA since that epic series between Utah and Chicago. Since then, it's been all downhill.

But Kobe I really enjoy watching, and I was glad he was like a role model to alot of fans, he used to resist all the temptations and be a 'good guy.' I was very very disappointed on what he did, but people make mistakes.

How many people do you know go and jet to Denver, attend a difficult court trial and drop 40 points in a game the same day? Kobe is a legend. I hope he comes back stronger, and be more humble.

No one can question Kobe's talent but his attitude leaves alot to be desired. He's still not a team player or a leader yet either. It'll be interesting to see how he does under PJ once again.

Good move by Cleveland. They desperately needed a sidekick to Lebron and they found an almost perfect one in Hughes. That team still has holes though, especially PG, if neither Hughes or Lebron starts there. PF is also a concern for them as I'm not sure if Gooden is the answer, even with the stats he puts up last year.

Is the Central division the most stacked in the NBA now? Detroit, Indiana, Chicago and Cleveland are all playoff candidates and Milwaukee will probably be a .500 team rather than 20 games below it. ;)

Chicago is sickening. I'm not one to give John Paxson a free ride because he had a good draft last season and all started to pan out for him. He's sitting on his ass, and just keeping the rosters the way it is.

First of all, you lock both Curry and Chandler. No matter how much it cost because we own their bird rights and it would only go to the luxury tax. Other then that, kiss Duhon goodbye, he isn't worth the contract he is asking for.

Other then that, all the decent SG's are off the market again. Good job, idiots.

Both are restricted. He can bide his time and match any offer that other teams make. I'm confident they'll both be Bulls next season, hopefully not for the max though. Neither are that good yet.

I also read that Pax will wait till next offseason to sign a SG as they're seem to be a few more available. Don't know the list though.

Haha. Watch and learn, you'll see how we lose one out of Curry and Chandler, sit on our ass and keep the same team while the Central Division becomes the strongest in the NBA and we are not guaranteed a shot at the playoffs. Simply disgusting, the year after we finally become respected and show signs of life, we go right down to the gutter. You heard it here first. Oh, and btw.. it begins.

Eddy Curry has scheduled a visit to Atlanta for Monday-Tuesday, making his first official move in the free-agent market.

The Hawks, who are aggressively pursuing a big man, have close to $20 million of salary-cap room.

Contacted about the visit Saturday, Curry said his first preference remains to stay with the Bulls but that his interest in Atlanta is genuine.

Being from Toronto, i'm a huge Raptors fan, they're my number 1 passion (followed closely by Inter :D ). I'm optimistic about this year because of our draft (Villanueva, Graham, and Slokar). I'm also an admin of the number 1 unofficial raptors forum. I won't give out the site now because i don't know whether advertising is allowed here.
