Keep it simple and just say that the Pistons have no chance of winning the championship. ;)

Pretty weak Finals so far. Pistons have to be the most offensively challenged team in the League. When Billups or Rip aren't hitting shots for them, it gets pretty fugly..... and quick.

They might steal one in Detroit but I can't see them winning 3 more against the Spurs.

The finals have been pretty weak, as I kind of expected them to be. The Spurs are like robots, and are annoying in the sense that they are a level above the rest of the NBA this year. I'm just hoping that Detroit and Larry brown can avoid an ugly sweep.

Actually, the Pistons offense is better then last season. However, Bruce Bowen has figured a way to frustrate Rip Hamilton for two games now and him jumping in and out of screens not only puts him in rhythm, but forces double teams to create space for guys like Tayshaun Prince and 'Sheed.

Detroit is a very un-predictable team, and they've been down before. Actually, they've been down to both Indiana and Miami and have made it this far.

We'll see what happens, I still see the Spurs eaisly running away with this series but I hope to be proven wrong.

I don't know why people consider these Pistons the second version of the Bad Boys, as this team clearly also has back-court talent that it depends very much on. Clutch shooting and FT's from Billups, screens for Rip Hamilton. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Congratulations on last night's victory. :)

That's why I wrote original and not first version. ;)

What do you think of the Lakers' move to sign Phil Jackson back?

I personally am not an NBA master but Phil is one of the best coach ever and the move can only be good. But can his famed triangle offense be used with this Lakers roster? If I'm not wrong, you need a big man like Shaq or Rodman for it to work and Lakers don't have any good one, currently. Perhaps Mihm?

Rodman never played the 'big man' role in the triangle offense, and in fact, Phil Jackson never had such a dominant big guy unless you consider it to be Luke Longley. :D

He's back in for the money and might actually get the Lakers in the playoffs, but I don't expect him to get past Auerbach with the current roster or anything similar to it. Way too many holes need to be fixed in Los Angeles, sadly.
