Call me crazy but I think that they should abandon Game 6, which will be in the awfully tough Detroit's home ground anyway, and focus on Game 7. Meaning, rest Shaq & Wade and go all out on Game 7. While this is risky, I think having a 100% Shaq for Game 7 is much better than having 50% Shaq in both Game 6 & 7. Furthermore, the team's talisman, is unavailable for Game 6. So why risk getting more fatigue but still losing? They need Shaq to be at his best to stop Duncan in the Final anyway.

Miami are 2 players. They are weak if one of them is not in good shape.

If they qualify, then Spurs will beat 4-0.

Your crazy. :D :dielaugh:

The Heat are nothing without Dwyane Wade, and the media may or may not be talking about it, but even if he does play in Game 7, he won't nearly be 100% and will not be able to cut in and out like he usually does. Sure, just having him out on the court is a booster but Detroit is mentally a tough team and i fully expect them to be on a mission and in the zone, playing smart basketball, fighting for all the loose balls and playing the gritty style that won them last years championship.

I'd suggest that you get over the fact that Shaq will not be 100% for the rest of the playoffs, and is also on the decline of his career. His stamina has been down for the past 3 months of the season, and just isn't as dominant as he once was. Detroit makes him struggle for his points, use up his minutes, hack 'em, he's been locked. Wade is the key, and i think Pistons have enough power to take this last game.

Go Detroit!

Wade will be ready for Game 7. I'd wager my soul he'll play, even if he is hurt. Very Jordan-like mentality. He'll never achieve the greatness of MJ though.

In the event that Wade somehow does not play, Heat are toast. As Gaetan said, Shaq is on the decline of his career. People says he's injured but let's face it, he's been constantly injured the last couple years. Such are the cons of having such a big body and playing a physical sport.

A Spurs-Pistons Final isn't exactly a mouth-watering clash due to both teams good defenses but it'd still be a good series..... most likely.

The peace and quiet that i'd get from the city of Miami and their "fans" (more like bunch of bandwagoners) is just priceless, although what you said is true.

Nope, guess again. I've always liked them, but ever since Shaq came they have been getting nothing but a bunch of gloryhunters, and people who know next to little about the team or the game of basketball are just jumping in trying to get some glory.

I've been a Bulls fan all my life, since 1995. Jordan came, left, and i stayed - unlike many other Chicago "fans".

Indeed. Looks like your wish came true. I can hear all those band-wagoners jumping ship, even as we speak. :D

I'm also a Bulls fan. Been following them since '94 when I was just a lad of 10 years old. Stayed true even after the glory years though, like you. The likes of seeing the likes of Dalibor Balgaric, Kornel David, Eddie Robinson donning the Bulls uniform were a tough pill to shallow but thank god the team is finally making steps in the right direction.

Skiles re-upped. 4 year extension I believe.

Next steps:

Re-sign Curry (Hopefully he is healthy and hopefully not for the max)
Re-sign Chandler

Get a SG - This is a tad tougher than the previous two. I'm a big fan of Duhon but the Wizards exploited the small backcourt. There is also not alot of premier SG free agents this summer. I'd hate to see Bulls management trade away any of the core players just to get a SG.

On second thought, Skiles and his agent decided to have yet another meeting and they were able to reach an agreement to a 4 year contact. It's really great news, he has the right mentality to win a championship and it's already proven that he has the respect of all players in the locker room.

Eddy Curry will be re-signed, as his value has gone down ever since his heart problems and we won't have to max him out too much. Tyson, however, will be getting interest from both the Hawks and the Lakers. I'm not too sure we'll be able to keep him.

As for a SG, we need one that can put the ball down, play D, and attack the basketball. Larry Hughes or Joe Johnson would be dream signings.

Yeah I've heard the Lakers are showing heavy interest in Chandler. The home-town card might be the Bulls undoing. I'd hate to lose him, especially to the Lakers. :yuck:

Johnson or Hughes would be dream signings. Could be tough to get outside of a sign and trade though. Teams will throwing lots of money at those two. Another option is Bobby Simmons from the Clips.

What's your opinion on Gordon? Alot of Bulls fans seem to be split on whether he should be starting or should continue coming off the bench. I belong to the latter. I loved him this year but everytime I look at him, he screams 6th Man. Can't dribble, bad defensively and also turned the ball over a shocking amount of times during the season. He really needs to improve on those three things if he ever wants to start (could be tough as long as Kirk is there though)

Bobby Simmons would be nice, but again, he may be a hard worker and have a nice shot, but he is no where near the level of Hughes and Johnson in terms of pure talent off the dribble and creativity that a "star" shooting guard consist of.

Ben Gordon can and may be a great player, but i am not as crazy about him as some other fans may be. He's going to be a bench player if he stays the same, and i think he is not far from being a healthy Dajuan Wagner. He's got good range, but isn't a complete player, and due to his size and lack of passing ability, i fear he'll never have a true position and struggle to become the "star" that he has potential of being. I'm just not as crazy about him, but love him coming off the bench.

As a matter of fact, i found Luol Deng to be our best and most effective rookie last season. Great size, nice jumper, creates match up problems and a hard worker adding to his defensive abilities.

I agree. His injury really hurt so late in the season.

Easy victory for Spurs

84-69. :wallbang:

Detroit was abysmal last night. Fatigue really set in from the 2nd Q on for them.
