I had them losing the series in 5.... but to have a lead like that blown... he should've broken a window, or at least I would.

Nice win by the Rangers though, got 7 out of 8 correctly (see previous post). I wanted to be wrong on the Capitals too.. so it all worked out.

Well.. we have a nice Original 6 matchup between Boston and Chicago... that was my bracket before the postseason began. I'm sticking by my prediction with Boston winning the cup.

I hope Cory Schneider was worth the 9th overall pick. Remember they won't have a first round draft pick next year due to his contract circumventing penalty.

It makes me think this is a hockey version of Samuel Eto'o's story. He probably will get some fat paycheck in the KHL with the Russian billionaires out there. Playing home + more millions of dollars = happiness for Kovalchuk.

IMO Vancouver should have been ecstatic getting a 2nd round pick for Schneider. They made out like bandits in that deal.

I was talking from the Devils perspective. I agree it was worth it for Vancouver to get the 9th overall pick. It still amazes me thought how they've chosen to invest in Bobby LUU thanks to that horrible contract. Is he really going to be the netminder at age 43 for them?
