3-4 years ago Inter would be scared shitless at the prospect of the away game at San Paolo. Now we are heading there as favourites.

That's more because of the shit form Napoli is in rather than us being stronger.
An away game at San Paolo is always difficult and there is no reason why we should be favorites either way.

Yeah. Before the season started this fixture has the defeat as the most probable outcome but thanks to Napoli meltdown the away victory is the most probable now.

An optimistic 1-2 to us. Koulibaly and Manolas will neutralise Lukaku, but with Sensi, Lautaro and (hopefully) Sánchez around we should be able to score more than them.

They’ll score one from open play, we seem to consistently concede via quick footwork and angled shots even when the defense is set up (Barcelona, Dortmund, Sassuolo, Juventus, Parma, etc.). I hope Conte fixes this soon, but it seems an inevitability with Insigne, Mertens, Zielinski and Callejon.

Koulibaly is injured.

I don't think so. Apparently, Conte doesn't want to have too many 20 year olds at Inter.

I am sure i don't need to remind you Fiorentina latest results prior to our game. When it comes to Inter, everything is possible and i don't mean it in a good way.

Exactly. Montella was sacked because Fiorentina went on a disastrous run of relegation form. Their results during that period were:

Loss vs Cagliari
Loss vs Verona
Loss vs Lecce
Loss vs Torino
DRAW vs INTER
.. then right back to getting thrashed with another loss vs Roma. :palm:

Despite the fact that we are miles better than every one of those teams that took advantage of a weak Fiorentina team in chaos.. The ONE point they earned in that period was against us :palm:

I'm way too traumatized by this decade to take anything for granted. I expect to win both remaining games against Napoli and Atalanta, but we could very well lose both.

We're the perfect remedy for them.
