I just watched the Micheal Moore movie "Fahrenheight 911"...Woow it was a moving documentary which also has funnny moments but definately moving...If ur into political documentaries this is a good one.

I watched the Bourne Supremacy yesterday and really enjoyed it. I saw the trailer for Riddick and am frankly a bit worried. I like Pitch Black but this prequel just looks like they have too much money and want to make it into some sort of epic.

I watched The Village on Sunday evening... just 3 words... Best Movie Ever!!

Really, the movie was absolutely brilliant. It's like a blanket wrapped around you, you're totally immerse in it.

Well, that's strange, Frisko. Many of my friends who watched it says it's officially the worst movie thy've seen in years.

Anyone have already watched Alien Vs Predator? Many of my friends say it's bad too. I really want to watch it, but I don't whether it's worth the money.

Yes. Frisko's statement contradicts with everything that I have heard or read so far. Well, I don't like those kind of movies so I'm not wathing it.

Jupiter, many of my friends said that it will take a miracle to topple AVP off the top of the worst movie of the year chart. :yuck:

Yeah, I guess it's a love it or hate it movie.

I think it's scary, touching, with a great plot, very good performances by the cast. A great story. I was absolutely charmed by it.

Alien vs Predator will be out in the UK shortly and I'll be going to see it. I think it'll be good fun, the kind of dumb-in-a-cool-way movie, like Freddy vs Jason.

AVP is terrible only if you are a huge fan of the series - the many disappointments, flaws and contradictions in the movie make for one hell of a downer, especially considering that you have spent the better part of so many years wondering how the huge clash between the Alien and the Predator would turn out.

Basically, for those who haven't watched much of the 2 series, AVP wouldn't be so bad. I mean there's action and all. My one main problem with it was there was too much development, that by the time the action kicked off, there was too little time to showcase the fights and all. The movie lasted a grand total of only 90 mins, and i felt this was way too short for such a big movie.

All in all, i was thoroughly disappointed as my vision of Alien VS Predator was much much bigger and better. Paul Anderson really screwed this movie up.

I recently saw "A tale of 2 sisters", it a Korean horror movie, very intelligent and gripping. I think the actress playing the stepmother was very attractive too!

Anyone else saw it?

I saw two movies over the christmas break, one was 'the rise of the phoenix' which was okay but flat, and the other was 'house of flying daggers'.

I don't like action movies that much in general and I can't stand all the martial arts' movies like those of Bruce Lee or Jit Lee or whoever. But this movie was simply magical. I didn't like it at the beginning but loved it near the end. There was an actual storyline and what a storyline!!!

The scenery was just magnificent and , I dont' want to give anything away, the final battle scene was one of the best scenes I've seen. Not the fighting and stuff, but the background and the ending were simply awesome.

No, it's a chinese movie but one of the lead actors was japanese or half-japanese, the actress is the same one that was in 'Flying tigers Hidden dragons."

The tow movies are somewhat similar, but this one is shorter and the overall theme was really appealing to me.

The story takes place in the past and it's about some local governors chasing some rebel tribes that have awesome daggers that strike and chase around the intended victim, it always gets him.

But there is some sort of a love story that develops as the movie goes, I don't want to give it away but it was as good as those in Casablanca and other romantic movies.

The scenery for me was breathtaking, and you won't know whether it's done by technology or it's just natural.

The movie didn't make alot of money, which indicates it doesn't meet some people's taste. It did it for me, because I care about themes and story lines more than action or animation.

I saw Terminal few months ago and find it extremely boring (not saying your opinion sucks Frisko ).

Yesterday i watched Team America. It was watchable, but i expected a lot more of it. There were few funny scenes that made me laugh like there´s no tomorrow (stupid dictum by the way). Here´s one scene that was deleted from the original movie. I laughed my ass of (another stupid dictum!) when i saw that.
