Han, did you like Butterfly Effect as much as I did?

You guys gotta catch The Butterfly Effect. IMO, one of the best movies of the year. Starring Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart. It's a thriller type of movie. Absolutely magnificent movie. For me, it's just slightly worse than Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. And that means it's just below perfect.
First post of the thread dude. ;) I rate it 9.9/10. I watched it the second time and it wasn't as good as the first. Probably because it was the unknowns, mysteries and enigmas that made the movie good.

I watched The Village today, and i must say i came out of it feeling very disappointed. The movie never really builds up, and the ending made me think that i had just wasted 2 hours of my time watching this piece of trash.

For those who have not seen it yet, avoid it at all costs.

Ciao,
Tim

Thanks for the advice, I liked sixth sense and signs but wasn't too impressed with unbreakable. I think now I will wait for the Village to come to blockbusters.

I am going to go see I-robot tomorrow, have heard good things about it so am looking forward to it.

Avoid watching Collateral. Only the last 20 minutes of the movie are worth watching. It's a very boring movie. What a waste of time and money!

I find the first part truly boring. I came in expecting a big-bang-bong actions sequence and all I get is some cheesy dialogues by Tom Cruise or Jamie Foxx.

I have to say that Tom Cruise is a great actor though. He's so cool in the movie.

Tom Cruise is a good accomplished actor. He can provide the intensity in his character, and this is very evident in films like Magnolia, Jerry Maguire and Interview with the Vampire. I usually catch films with Cruise in it and Collateral is no different. :)

I just finished watching The Butterfly Effect, and i must say that it is one of the best movies this year. It was engrossing from start to finish, and the ending (Director's Cut) was one of the best in any movie i've seen. We always look back and wonder if we could change something in our past that can make our future perfect. This movie proves just that - nothing can ever be perfect, we can only try and make things as best as possible.

Tim

Collateral was really a marvellous movie. I watched it last night and it was one of the best movies i've seen in a while. It might not have all the action seens but the level and kind of conversational scenes in it were just superb.

I just watched Twins Effect 2 today. OMG what a crap movie. I wasted 1 1/2 hours and 8 bucks on this piece of junk. Even Charlene Choi cannot save this movie for me.

But what did "compensate" for all that was the fight between Donnie Yen & Jackie Chan. Awesome stuff. :)

You´ll still pay to see movies? How old-fashioned is that?

Only "regular Tim" could do that, sanoo Tim wouldn´t. Sanoo Tim would watch those at home, for free. :)

Here´s a great title for a movie, well, you know for who: Without a Paddle.
I actually saw a clip of this and it looked really funny. Maybe Paddle could tell us is this worth watching. :D

Just watched The Bourne Supremacy. I must say that, even though I forgot a lot of stuff from the first movie, this is one heck of a film. It was action-packed from start to end. It was unpredictable, funny and thrilling. Recommended to action lovers.

I watched Bourne Supremacy as well. If you like action, it has plenty of it. Certainly just as good as the first instalment. :)

The one movie i am looking forward too is Alexander The Great..I hope they dont mess the movie up and turn it into crap,i hope they stick to making it as close to the real story as possible. The thing is i think it comes out in November here when i will be back home hopefully.
