Did you juse see the ring...?
I mean it was out a year and a half ago... Good one :star:
Well actually, i'm a big fan of the series. I have the entire Ring (Japanese) trilogy, the Korean Ring and the American Ring. I've watched each movie several times already. :)

Anyway, the last movie i watched was Magnolia. It still remains of my favorite movies, ever. :)

Ciao,
Tim

Well, during my vacation I watched Troy and Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban. Both were good movies IMO. ;) Although I hate the over-rating of Brad Pitt in Troy.

Documentary? It isn´t documentary when it´s extremely one-sided and it contains too many inaccuracies. Don't get me wrong, I have no love for Bush, but both sides should be presented to be a good documentary.

I didnt like this "documentary", because it was way too biased. Where Moore fails is that he is not willing to present the facts that might raise doubts about his views. He presents his opinions not only as correct, but as if there does not exist any mitigating evidence. He´s willing to deceive or tell half-truths to make his point.

However, I neither do not agree with him signing with Disney-owned Miramax for his latest "documentary". He should have stayed independent instead of joining everything he criticizes.

As for his motives, my suspicion is that he's out to make money.

And last, my opinion is that this "documentary" appeals to people who already hate George Bush.

Btw: I would love if you guys could open politics forum. Please...

Well Tommi it is a satirical documentary and Micheal Moore doesnt hide away from saying this is his opinion...Plus u have to separate the extreme views from the objective ones and make ur own mind up,but that doesnt mean u cant filter things and make ur own mind up . It also doesnt take away from the fact that some things do move u emotionally in the movie not as a supporter of one side or the other but on a human level. ;)

Just saw Spiderman 2. Man, what a fantastic movie!!!:star: It is one of my favourite movie this year. I think the director did a very good job filming it. And the special effects staff must be credited too. But what I like most is the fight between Doc Ock and Spiderman. It was 'easy in the eye'. :D I don't know how to explain it. But, for example, the fight between Neo and Agent Smith on Matrix: Revolutions was stunning but it was so fast, too fast, that it is hard to catch it. The fights in SP2 was not. And Tobey is truly the absolutely perfect actor for Peter Parker.

My oh my, this year's movie have been fantastic.

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The Butterfly Effect
Troy
Something's Gotta Give
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Shrek 2
Dawn of the Dead

And many more!!! :proud:

I saw King Arthur during the weekend. It was pretty bad IMO. Nothing compared to the Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Troy or Gladiator. I'd give it a 2.5/5 rating. Wouldn't recommend it.

I just watched The Village by M.Knight Shylaman the other day...I loved sixth sense, this movie was really secretive and you couldnt tell anything from the ad...It is no Sixth Sense i thought it sucked and it was a waste of time and money... :yuck:
Only good thing is that the new actress in it is really good.
Very disappointing 1 out 5 score

I've just watched two movies this week, one being last night and the other i just rented this afternoon.

The Manchurian Candidate - Put together very well, you could see that even though this was a re-make of an old version that it was still very well planned and thought out. The acting by Denzel was great as usual, and the suspence of the story kept you glued to your seat wondering what was going to happen next. The ending was predictable but still had a weird twist, i suggest you guys watch it.

Barbershop 2 - Not a movie everybody will like, but just like the first one it's full of laughs and in general the theme of the movie is good. It's about Ice Cube trying to keep his Barber Shop and refusing to sell it no matter how hard the competition gets and how big the offer is from the government. A movie about some things are priceless and not selling your soul for a few quick bucks.

Ciao.
