Hey This is a movie forum...If u wanna talk about Inter u can just go to any other thread in here

Anyways i watched the new Tom Hanks movie The LadyKillers.Man did i hate it.When u see Tom Hanks is in the movie u go into to it expecting it to be good...This was supposedly a comedy unfortunately without the comedy...Maybe my expectations were high :depress:
Dont get me wrong his acting is good that u forget its him but the storyline is too simple and it just didnt deliver for me....This was a movie i would have rather stayed at home instead of watching. :yuck:
Its a Coen brothers movie so maybe if u like their stuff u will like this one...But i would say even compared to their other stuff they didnt live up to that. :yuck:

Its been a while for this topic...I tought of reseructing it by going to a movie this weekend...

The movie was The Girl Next Door...I dont wanna give anything from the plot if u dont know it but its every guys dream scenario...

Very funny u got to watch it...Elisha Cuthbert is just soo lovable in this one.I recommend it. :star: :star: :star:

Just came back from watching Dawn of the Dead. :scared: Real scary movie. Nothing fears me more than zombies. I can stand those monsters or killers but not zombies. It's a very good movie IMO. Hugely recommended for action lovers. I'll give it 4 stars out of 5. Looks like I won't be able to sleep soundly and tightly tonight. :scared:

I thought Dawn of the Dead was one of the poorer zombie movies out there. And there was never a clear reason why the zombies came about the way they did. And little can be said about the ending which i feel is completely lame.

But besides those points, it still came across as an enjoyable movie - and that is because i love zombie movies and i've never failed to enjoy one before.

Tim, perhaps there will be Dawn of the Dead 2 which may clear things up??? I too think that it sucks that they don't tell the reason why they became zombies. Perhaps it is in the sentence in the poster of the movie (And inside the movie) that says, "When there is no more place in hell, the dead will walk the Earth."???

I would say its about a 4. I have to give credit for all the props and the scenery used. Also, Kate Beckinsale is so damn gorgeous!! If theres ever a chance of me watching this movie again, it would be because of her only.

Theres just so many places where this movie fails, it had the recipe to be such a great picture, but it tried to hard and thus ruined everything.

NOO MAN come one....Van Helsing was ok if u consider the kind of movie it is.Its sort of that Mummy/Indiana Jones kind of movie with special effects that i hated...But the movie is a fun ride.Its not mean to be realistic but it was fun but gets bad towards the end somewhat....But that Kate Beckinsale is sooooo Damn HOTTTTTTT

I was shocked really, it was nothing i was expecting.. The whole 2nd half was below average, Orlando Bloom proved that he cant act unless he is doing his lord of the rings role.. The guy's facial expressions are soo bad really..!

Brad Pitt was a very bacd pick for his role.. Yah he is an amazing actor, but it didnt suit him though..!

The whole plot wasnt like the real story at all, i mean its not like the original myth, there were many parts missing..

Peter O'toole and Eric Banna though deserve an applause though..

I got out with the movie sad that i wasted 3 hours of my life...!
These kind of movies are supposed to move ur emotions, gets u excited, etc...

It was nothing like last samurai, gladiator and braveheart.
The propaganda on it was too much..

I wouldnt reccommend it to anyone.

I havent seen it but i saw faces of death and it kept me tense...

I havent seen faces of death, but i read that it was all fake. This is what i read about it: Have you seen Faces of Death? You have? Well screw that. Those are all fake (they say so on the first DVD in an interview). This stuff is 100% real.

So, i guess this is something like that, but only real.

I just watch Shrek 2 and The Day After Tomorrow. The former, is a very good movie. Although the first was better, it's still a very funny movie IMO. If you enjoy the first one, the second one is a must. The Day After Tomorrow is another good movie. But the ending is abyssmal. :yuck:

I watched, in no particular order:

The Punisher, Shrek 2, Chronicles of Riddick, The Ring (American), My Sassy Girl, Infernal Affairs Trilogy, Matrix Trilogy and many others. You see, i have been very free for the last few weeks or so, so i've been doing nothing but watching movies.

So guys, fill us in on the new stuff you have watched!
