Seems that icardi has redeemed with his teammates. As i predicted.

Here you go m8:

Ultras: Icardi return 'sweet talk'

Inter’s Curva Nord insists Mauro Icardi was only reinstated to get his market value back up, branding Luciano Spalletti’s comments ‘sweet talk’.

Spalletti went from reigniting Inter’s feud with Icardi to bringing him back for their match against Genoa in the space of two days, and their ultras - who have already demanded the striker to leave - remain unconvinced.

“The Nord’s position stems from frustration over an embarrassing dispute, which was badly managed by the club but where both Icardi and his manager wife only thought about speculating, showing - only out of convenience - attachment to our colours,” read another statement.

“Whoever doesn’t have a bag on their head can’t fail to understand that the imposition of the No 9’s return is dictated by the needs of revaluing his market value and certainly not a real rapprochement of the dressing room to the player.

“It’s sweet talk to portray a public picture of a reconciliation that, in reality, never happened.”

- hope team will pass to him tonight... usable balls :D and not celebrate with him in case he scores :D Candreva will do his best but Mauro might still accuse him of sabotage. Let`s see how Ivan will approach this game :D fuckin` telenovela...

Just shows how easily the anger and hatred can be stirred up in this age. I'm still supporting Mauro, for what he's done on the pitch for this club.

Wouldn't be the first time two professionals hated eachother on a team. It is in both of their interests for inter to win, so they should just bury the issue. This is the most important time of the year. End of june, sure, go nuts, kill eachother.

I think at this point, only a fucking idiot would say he is not a pretty freakin good player.

as for a human being on the other hand, well, that is a whole another conversation.

Yup. His focus for the next 2 months should be nothing but working hard for the team. Don't let the jeers rattle you, tell your wife to shut her hole and just play the game you love. In the summer things will get sorted but until then just do your job.

Time for the club to apologise to Wanda and give him back the captaincy?

Maybe when he scores a non-penalty goal next time.

Seems almost surreal that he now matched Vieri's goal tally.

It's even more surreal that we (club, ultras etc) handled Vieri in a similar fashion and started appreciating him 10 years after he retired. See, then we were lucky to have Adriano, followed by Crespo, Zlatan, Eto'o and Milito, while we also had serviceable forwards like Cruz and Palacio...

I don't want to imagine Inter after Icardi. That seems like detonating a grenade in your room and expexting to live and tell what happens after.

Yeah, I'm definitely worried that our run of god-tier strikers has kind of ran out and now it's almost as if it's someone else's turn to have fun.
Icardi has been at Inter for 6 seasons now. How many great strikers have we had alongside him in that time? None. Sure I highly rated Palacio, probably the most tragic striker to ever wear our shirt due to the horrendous quality of the squad he was thrown into, but nobody would argue that Palacio was world class, surely not the same group like Adri, Ibra and Vieri. Other than him, who else? Me and a few others here highly rated Osvaldo but it was clear from day one that it was just a passing fling of a relationship.

Lautaro is a great player and we did luck out with him but I don't want to see him as a single striker for the next five years because I don't see us winning anything that way, and I don't mean anything demeaning by that. Inter at its best was always with two strikers.

Icardi played well, liked his attitude.
Nice to see the team celebrating together with him.

Did you see how the team celebrated with the bench of Inter and left Spaghetti alone?????

Inter old boy Diego Forlan claims the Nerazzurri have ‘told me’ that they will sign Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann if Mauro Icardi leaves this summer.

Forlan counts Inter and Atleti among his former clubs, and the Uruguayan believes both could be involved in arguably the biggest transfer domino of the summer.

“If [Griezmann] stayed at Atletico Madrid he’d become a legend, but Inter will buy him once Icardi is sold,” the 39-year-old told ESPN.

The club told me this.”

Icardi’s future continues to be shrouded in doubt, despite his recent reintegration into the Inter squad, while Atleti’s lack of silverware could prompt Griezmann to seek pastures new.
BWAHAHAHhhAHhaha this made my day ahahaAHAHahhHA :D you know weed has been legalized in Uruguay, I`m sure Forlan got some prime stuff :D

Had a good game.

Something Lautaro can learn from him is when to go down. Lautaro dives needlessly a lot, but stays on his feet when he sometimes shouldn't. Icardi instead usually stays on his feet, but as soon as he feels that shirt tug after he's lost the ball he's straight down. Penalty, red card, 2-0 and we've got the 3 points already.
