I feel like with our new lineup and transfers our full backs should be more compatent at defense than attacking. Based on the players we are looking at and those that are already here, we should be much less reliant on our full backs attacking to create chances. De Vrij and especially Skriniar are able to push up from the center ala Lucio, and our midfield and wingers seem to be shaping up to be much more lethal. Zappa, Dambro, Assamoah, and Dalbert should do fine given their runs and crosses arent as mandatory as our predictable team last year was.

That being said, I think Zappa and cash for Vecino would be great. Zappa is actually a good full back, at least he was before going to Chelsea. Mix that with Vecino's inconsistency's plus 10~ million, on top of the fact that we now have Ninja, Gagliardini, new signing (Dembele?), Brozo, and hopefully Emmers in midfield. I say do it in a heart beat if the rumors are true; rather than have Vecino play 10~ games and lose value.

I don’t rate Vecino more from 15 millions at the moment. Maybe he’ll gain momentum like Gagliardini did but so far, except that Lazio goal, he was total waste of money.

He was an important player in our midfield during the first phase of the season, and also he scored some crucial goals last season but in overall he has been garbage though.

I think we've done pretty well at rectifying most issues thus far with the final pieces of the puzzle coming from reinforcing our right hand side. Zappa is not as good as Cancelo, but there really aren't many other alternatives on the market.

Here is the reality, no one pay us 35 mil for vecino not even Chelsea. Its like we wont pay 40 mil for nainggolan and stop at 24mil + let roma choose 2-3 player. Chelsea probably will do the same stop at 15-20 mil and then offered their player to us. At best or if miracle happen their offer will be 20 mil + zappacosta, so what is your choice? take the money and run orkeep him while we know we cant get better deal than that same goes when chelsea offering us 25 mil for candreva and we say no.

More important thing we know we cant registering vecino to Champion league due to his price tag and we will choose nainggolan, skriniar, gagsy or even lautaro ahead of him. With this deal we can negotiatiated to chelsea to made double trf deal like Nainggolan and made Zappacosta fee as low as possible so we didnt have problem to registered him to CL.
