That's his playing style. If you look Mbappe WC final goal, he is involved with some nice movement. His playing style as striker not convinced as much as Winger, so his get own style as runner to give assist.

Yeah I don’t really see how he’s going to score more than 15 goals in all comps. His playing style just isn’t conducive to that. However his link up play so far has been elite. I’m fine with the way he play’s personally as I still see it as a net positive for our side. I just hope the fans don’t get on him if he has a long stretch without scoring.

10 goals across all competitions isn't unreasonable.

The more crucial factor will be the timing of goals/assists rather than the volume. If he scores two hattricks when we're already 2-0, it won't mean anything. IIRC, Perisic didn't score a great many goals, but had a knack for scoring decisive goals.

both goals yesterday are attacks he started. He gets into good positions as well but people aren't passing him the ball. As long as we win I am happy. If he frees our wingbacks to attack than more power to him.

I mean I reserve judgement until the Fiorentina and Milan games coming up.

I don’t think 15 goals is reasonable unless Martinez gets amputated. Thuram will probably play somewhere between 20-70mins when available, sharing his time with Arnautovic & Sanchez.

If you expect that from Thuram you would be soon disappointed. He is the opposite of Icardi i.e. scoring not too much but involving in the build-up play, dragging opponents to create space for others, smooth touches to draw fouls, through balls and such.

That would be good enough for me. Him and Lautaro complement each other.
