When did he almost kill Rui Costa? The time when he was using him as support for his arm?

Anyway I don't want to get in an argument here because my time with football is rather small. But Materazzi is unique. Atleast in nowadays football for sure.

But to praise the dude even more - yesterday when playing FM I saw few brilliant long balls. And that reminded me off a thing that I wanted to tell here for long time. His long balls are just king! No-one in Inter comes even close to those, simply superb, almost every-time falls to right person. Even when he rushes. Everything is perfect with them - precise, no surprises (like ball starts falling down like a rock or something) and with the right amount of power so it wouldn't be too hard to get them under control for the players upfront.

I bet he has picked up a tip or two from old Sinisa. When Sinisa still played, you saw who the indisputable king of long passes was.

In the past Materazzi was rather inconsistent. There were times when he would have a brilliant game followed by a reasonable or not so positive performance. The latter type of match was often characterised by a lapse in concentration or silly foul that would sometimes lead to us conceding a goal. What was most frustrating was that other than that one mistake, Marco's game was pretty good.

But it has to be said that since winning the World Cup Matrix has been brilliant. He has always backed himself but Lippi's confidence in Marco has worked wonders and we have Lippi to thank because when Materazzi made mistakes at club level or during qualifiers or friendlies, despite all the criticism, Lippi, still believed in him. As a result, we now have a player that went from being Samuel's substitute to being our first choice central defender.

Marco is indeed an Inter talisman.

By the way, is there any way you can copy or save from youtube?

Hmmm its very debateable because early in the year he barely played. But if the second half counts I say hell yeah he was excellent. Yeah he deserves it.

He played a lot in the 2005/2006 season. At the end espescially. I think though Prandelli also took in his WC performance.

My English is so bad, I don't get the indication of this question, can someone please explain thoroughly the meaning?

Well, most hate him, but I know loads of people, non-Interisti, who'd die to have Matrix in their team.

That interview was fantastic though, brilliantly summed up Inter & Marco this year. Facchetti parts bringed me tears into eyes. You really understand who Marco is if you read those lines.

Yeah Marco is a family man and he truly is a good man he cares about his kids and you could see that when we win the Coppa Italia he brought his kids down to celebrate with him and they seemed to love him a lot :)

I think Materazzi is a very good father. He's very protective and loving to those important to him.

Grande Materazzi! Congrats on a super 2006!
