I think people like Devious are crazy for having a pop at the Matrix for being sent off for putting his shirt oover his head. But people like this are stupid.
Maybe Devious celebrates important goals by doing the robot dance, or something? :D

The passion for Inter showed, when he was coming of the pitch, just see his reaction when he reached the touchline, he celebrated his goal as a fan, not as someone who just scored in the biggest match in Serie A this season:proud:

No, it's stupid to insult your mate like this just for beeing objective..

If i had scored the forth goal agian milan i would have taken my shirt off and i would have taken everything else off as well.
Yeah, I would probably do the same when playing with my friends, Materazzi is a professional and should think of consequences..It almost cost you a win, ffs..

He's definitely a passionate man, often too much passionate..Anyway, very solid performance by him once again, he really improved from past seasons..

Matrix red card didnt almost cost us Witmann. Milan would attack like this anyway at the end of the match. How many times did he make world class intercepions or tackles. We didnt miss him much when he was off anyway, Cordoba and Bursdisso did a great job as CBs.

And i dont think he is being objective. We can do that later but now is time for a party and enjoy ourselfs. Its not a time to start having a go at Matrix and saying he is unprofessional because he was fantastic toninght

U can be upset at the guy and say he almsot cost us winning, but frankly. His show was worth 3 points on its own :D

Facing the Curva Sud and showing his name while kissing the Inter shirt is jsut amazing viewing. I love the guy,

I agree..I would feel the same should've Gattuso done it, but the next day I would think what the hell was he doing getting a red card that almost paralized us..

I bet you wouldn't like him so much should've we managed to equalize, would you?;)

Cozzi, I agree Materazzi is great lately..I personally don't like the guy, but have to give him a credit for his recent performances..His passion is huge no doubt, but it often ends with negative outcome..

J.Zanetti and h
This guy has transformed himself from the wantaway third string CB to a sure starter with the only question asked being who is best suited to partner this collosus.

I will admit I was not his biggest fan before, far from it actually but his performances this year have been superb and credit to his his well deserved.

He has curbed his enthusiasm and "passion" (read hacking the opposition down) with which he plays the game considerably. Although he may have had an error in judgement by getting himself sent off for a bone head move it is understandable and I dont give a flying phuck cause we ended up winning anyway.

Also it would be a mistake IMO to discount his absence as nothing at all I think had he been on the pitch for the whole of the 90 mins Milan would not have had a chance at scoring a second goal. He would have gobbled Gila up and had Olivera for lunch.

This guy needs to put in a stalwart performance in Moscow and teach the rest of the team that with the talent comes a needed love for the team to be able to make yourself useful.

Materazzi is on the form of his life and he's definitely our best defender at the moment. I think the world cup has done him wonders and now he's a different player than the one we used to know.

He's defending well and scoring plenty of goals recently so let's hope he'll keep it up.

Maybe he shouldn't have done that with the shirt... But, I think that he just showed his happiness and his passion... And I think it was too harsh to sent him off...

1st thing: It was right to send him off, because rules say player have to get booked for removing his shirt (Materazzi's removing was enough according to rules).

2nd thing: There was nothing wrong with Materazzi removing his shirt (besides it's not allowed), because players can express their feelings in football, for god sake.

These leads to 3rd thing: The rule is completely ridicilous, because players MUST have the right to express their feelings when it's a time for that. FIFA is doing its all to lame the beautiful game named football. FIFA :ass:

Yeah, the rules say that he should be sent off, but the rules are made to be broken... If he hadn't yellow card, than give him one, but he had one, and the other meant sending off. He should not be given the red card.

Well, the rule says player must get booked if he removes his shirt. And that rule is more precise than a foul against player, which can't always be sure is it bookable or not. Removing shirt is a bookable foul and that's it. It's as stupid rule as Blatter (his comments about Italy winning the WC today), but still a rule.

Isn't it a shame that while Cordoba was God, Matrix played rubbishly? Now, the situation is the reverse. Why can't we have both of them playing well!? :frustrat:

And from a very personal point of view, it's a shame too that his good form has cost my favorite central defender, Walter Samuel, his place in the regular XI. Unfortunately, Samuel - Materazzi is just too slow and will only work against certain opponents.

Samuel is as good as he was before, after the game against Fiorentina I have no doubts someone gave him a kick up the ass. The problem (well not really a problem) is in the form of his life and has momentum through the scales and cannot be dropped.

Samuel and Materazzi should be the partnership for matches against technical sides, anyteam that has a pacy and quick striker then one needs to be dropped, no doubting that, and that means that Samuel-Matrix should be the partnership atleast 75% of the time, they only struggle against quick, fast paced passes (i.e Roma)...and I think that game was over read, it was the first game of the season.

In the perspective of Materazzi, his best partner is Burdisso. That would be extraordinary.

I agree fully with you, but I sadly realize that Cordoba probably never will be dropped from the squad. It's a shame really, that Burdisso isn't playing more than he is. He's a future prospect out of this world IMO.
