Joao Mario don´t suit in the football world, not in the Serie A.

And Dalbert was not bad, he just had not enough time to adapt

"As Inter enter the Champions League next season, they will certainly need to rely on a strong squad and the early signs are promising. The quality of the players and the way they are navigating the Financial Fair Play situation is certainly a credit to the club and in particular, Piero Ausilio."

I simply don’t agree with the posts on Dalbert. One year is more than enough to adapt to SOME degree where he could ATLEAST be a head of Santon. His season with Nice wasn’t also that good. He’s always seemed lacking tactical or football intelligence. The guy is just a bad purchase and not on Serie A standards.

Malcom is a total different story. I predict a good season from him with Inter. He’s legitimately talented. He’s already a top player (for ligue 1 standards but it’s still pretty good). He might struggle a bit in his first months like Cancelo but once he adapts he’ll do well later on.

If this is something like expensive paid loan + high option to buy fee, I don't like this transfer. If we are "forced" to dish almost 40m€ for this guy next summer, we might be in a problem if he doesn't pan out. I liked Cancelo/Rafinha loans because we didn't pay anything, just salary. We got their input for free and didn't tie our hands. In this case we tie our hands by paying almost 10m€ for the loan.

And what are we doing now though? We're trying to replace those players, both first team players who dependably performed at this club with more unknowns. Gotta commit and buy players at some point. Can't just loan new players every 6 months.

Spallo didn't even let Dalbert play. He should have given him a good amount of games To let him settle in. When he played he had no confidence. Idk I think the only reason why cancelo got to play the second half was because we sold naga, so he moved dumbo to cover left back and that made space for cancelo.
I hope Malcom from the start is a stater and he's given that confidence. He is still a kid, if spallo doesn't mold him and gives him confidence he will flop. I'm also pretty sure Lautaro will burst through and spallo will make space for him in the line up. He has that fighter mentally and the talent (more than Malcom) to become world class.

It’s definitely not the end, calm down.

Negociations are still ongoing, the player wants to join us , it’s said that he will come to Milan next week to discuss himself.

I feel like Malcom will either be our signing of the year or our flop. No in between. Still really excited about him. I recommended him in the player suggestions thread at the start of last season. He is miles ahead of David Neres in development who everyone seems to be excited about after his season with Ajax.

Any inside story about why no one from the management even talked to Cancelo?

The best thing about this 7-8m loan with 30-32m option to buy is that if Malcom flops hard in Serie A, we only lose 7-8m. I wish we had done the same with Gabigol and Mario.

I would prefer Chiesa but for the same amount of money. I don't think either of them should cost over 30m, let alone 40.

Malcom agent said on FCIN that Malcom won't join Inter on loan with option as Bordeaux want only an obligation.
