The thing they get out of this transfer is a guaranteed first payment of 7-8M (at least that's the rumored amount). If we skip on buying Malcom next year they can sell him no problem.

If he performed well maybe for more than 40M, if he underperformed it's either 40M once more based on potential or 30-35M in the worst case scenario.

It depends. This summer we needed to comply with the settlement agreement and in addition to FFP restrictions. And we needed to get AM and RB will cost too something. Next summer might be different. We've made excellent free agent signings so we might have less needs year from now and we might be able to dish that 32m to Malcolm if they eventually agree this high fee loan with option.
